Pros: Front desk staff was wonderful -- rooms were comfortable.
Cons: Horrible service in restaurant ( being a single female travel likely contributed to this); room was very poorly insulated re:noise. Heard everything all night.
9,7 Excellent
Cons: This is my second time staying at Hotel Amigo and I’m convinced that this will be my “go to” hotel in Brussels. Until the next time Hotel Amigo!!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Ok

5,8 Okay
Pros: Staff was nice all of them
Cons: Small room and small tolit
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The Room is very spacious, equipped with 2 Rest rooms.
Cons: It located quite far from the train station.
7,9 Good
Pros: Perfect location. Next to a wonderful square. Newer hotel.
Cons: Bathrooms are not taken care of by housekeeping. The nastiest shower head I have ever seen, gunk, mold. Had it not for a new establishment, this would have been worse.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable, the shower was great. Everything was very clean, the staff were all very helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. The rate was very good for our two night stay including breakfast. The location is our favourite in Brussels.
Cons: Our room was not cleaned, we had left late morning and did not come back until late afternoon so would have liked it to be cleaned - the Front Desk did give us more bottled water when we asked for it.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location was fine. Building was clean and in a good area. Room was very space efficient. The housecleaning crew was great and went above and beyond when we were in a rush and left the room a mess.
Cons: The toilet could have been cleaned better from the previous resident of the room. Beyond that the breakfast buffet is a little overpriced, I would have purchased had the price been more agreeable. Beyond that it was a great experience.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: clean, nice interieur, good shower, kind staff, bag storage, bath robes and slippers in hotel, water boiler and nespresso in room
Cons: - not enough staff, we had to wait long to get our bags - leakage of water boiler in the room - no refilling of the coffee in room - expensive breakfast
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location Delicous and very rich breakfast Very wide and confortable bed
5,0 Okay
Pros: High level hotel (medium/big size rooms) and new/modern forniture. Cleaning excellent.
Cons: Was contacted by the Hotel the day before my arrival and I was informed that I had to pay in advance although I had an open reservation (pay more - pay during your stay) otherwise I would have lost my room. At the hotel no excuse was given by the staff or the manager they only told me it was a misunderstanding. I didn't find this behaviour very professional. During my stay I have also seen someone that received the wrong room and she/he found somebody else when he/she tried to enter the room given by the hotel staff.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: - excellent location, facing the famous place with lots of chocolatiers! - my room (single) was at the far end from the elevator hall (just like I like it) and was very quiet, lots of sun (!) a rare treasure in Brussels - a small room but very cozy and charming - did not eat there but there are some nice cafes and restaurants around that you can discover; e,g, Le Pain Quotidien in front of the hotel or Café du Sablon around the corner. Lola in front is also a very nice restaurant.
Cons: - high price level is always an issue in this highly-demanded city but that's the market I guess - getting there with a suitcase was a bit of a challenge (in the old town, pebble stones, etc.), while not the fault of the hotel. Strongly advise not to put on your nice heels - A pair of slippers would have been nice for the cold floor, but in this time of waste-not economy I should have brought my own pair - otherwise really all good. Highly recommended.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, walking distance from train station and public transport also from historic sites. Beautiful lobby and rooms, friendly staff. Superb restaurant (we ordered room service and was awesome) Multilingual staff, spoke Spanish, very for us
Cons: There were no towels in the room but they brought them quickly
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very rich and delicious breakfast. Location very close to Palais d’Egmont where I attended a meeting. Staff at the frontdesk (Stephan, Charles, Majid and the guy who printed mu boarding pass whose name slipped my mind) were courteous, competent and helpful to meet your requests.
Cons: There’s almost a bit of steady noise in the rooö coming from all directions, possibly from the ventilation system and/or the pipes and the small fridge in the room.

8,0 Excellent
Cons: Small room
7,1 Good
Pros: The room was quite large and comfortable.
Cons: Parking even thou the hotel advertises for parking available at 35 EURO per day - there was no available parking when we arrived and had to leave our car on the main road and pay by the hour. Room - The foor in our room was not very clean , there was long blonde hair on the floor and on the large mirror by the door, and this was definitely not my as I am brunette. For a 5 star hotel you would expect your room to be spotless .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely single room, clean, cosy and comfortable with great amenities and great location. Lovely quality soap and shampoo, vanity kit provided, robe and slippers all extremely comfy. Room was quiet and temperature was ideal, so I slept very well.
Cons: I was charged an extortionate amount for a bottle of water at the bar (3.50 EUR for a tiny bottle of water and 5 EUR for the bottled water in the minibar which I did not take as I could not justify 8.50 EUR for water, it was very late at night so no shops nearby), and they refused to serve tap water. No complimentary water in-room was surprising given the cost of the room. I had a very unpleasant experience with the bartender, when after I bought the tiny bottle of water (enough to half-fill a glass for me and my friend), I asked if he could fill up my glass from the tap which was right there. He was rude and condescending and made me feel rather uncomfortable as a paying guest. Bit of a shame
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed here several times and enjoyed every one of them. The breakfast is excellent.
Cons: My on-going complaint is the lack of a proper fitness room (or solution with a local gym).
5,0 Okay
Pros: good location
Cons: overpriced, pretentious decor but non-functional (shower impossible to set to right temperature) weird room setup with staircase
4,3 Okay
Cons: Staff was not helpful, beds were old and not comfortable at all (had two rooms to try since the first one had brown water in the bathroom since it wasn't used for a long time).
7,3 Good
Pros: Hotel facilities detail has incorrect information. According to detail when I book room, Wifi is available with additional fee (6.95 per day). However not only wifi, internet connection (LAN) was need additional fee. If I've known LAN connection was not including room charge, I was not book this hotel. This is totally incorrect information.
Cons: Hotel must disclose not just wifi, even LAN connection require additional cost. If this was on hotel detail, I NEVER HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Pool table Location Communal and bar area was lovely Basket of free fruit was a nice touch
Cons: Duvet wasn’t thick enough Winter garden wasn’t open during the weekend Bar service was slow - even though we were the only ones there
9,4 Excellent
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of three nights at the Stanhope. It was a convenient location for walking Brussels, and enhanced time there. The staff was great and accomodating of our needs. We loved our room which was spacious and nicely appointed.
Cons: The only semi-negative thing I can say, is that the bed was quite soft, which was not good for someone with a bad back like me. Also, we asked to have some food heated up, and they said that they would send someone to take care of this for us. They forgot, and we had to call a second time.

The Hotel Brussels - Brussels - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
Admire stunning views across the city from the tallest building in town 27 stories rising up 94 meters in the sky. A superb combination of city views and excellent accessibility.
6,7 Good
Pros: location, facilities
Cons: I won’t be returning. It was my the third or forth time staying at the hotel. The staff was arrogant an not helpful as always. A shame! Won’t be coming back.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was not too bad.
Cons: Bathroom had a leak, room was cold and just not as presented as in the pictures.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Beautiful room. Complimentary drinks
6,5 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the temperature in the room is easily regulated, the room is well sound-proofed, so it is quiet at night. We had a corner room and the view is really nice. The light controls and the curtain controls are automated and can be manipulated with a push of a button. The location is great for shopping, walking to local attractions, and as a starting point to almost anywhere. I might or might not stay again - the negatives are not terrible, in the grand scheme of things.
Cons: The shower enclosure is not well designed and the water constantly goes over the lip of a very shallow shower pan - even if you try to stand up against the wall, only shower with the handheld shower, etc. So we couldn't enjoy the rainfall shower head which was huge and lovely because then you essentially have a lake in your bathroom. For the most part we had a soggy towel on the floor near the shower at all hours. Also the toilet is separated from the rest of the room with just glass so privacy or soundproofing there does not exist, and given that it is a European -sized room, if one of you is up to use the bathroom at night, it is impossible for the other to stay asleep as it is an echo chamber. The breakfast is severely overpriced for the options available and/or service provided - at least one of them needs to improve. Even though we travel a lot, still for a tourist from the US it is quite surprising - for 28 Euro per person I would want something more lavish in terms of food variety or much better service - waiters pouring your coffee or tea instead of you wresting with the automatic machines - something.

9,7 Excellent
Pros: Отличный завтрак и очень комфортно!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good neighborhood, clean, close to two subway stations, friendly personnel
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, not in the center, but within walking distance of the main attractions and next to an underground station. The soundproofing for the outside was excellent, although our room didn't face the main street. Great breakfast, although a bit expensive. Sauna (infrared, not Finish) and fitness available from 6AM to 11PM.
Cons: There was no relaxing area for the sauna (only a bench in the lockers' area). A room with a few lay down chairs, as well as a balcony or some outdoor access would make the sauna experience much better.
Sofitel Brussels Europe - Brussels - Building

Set down your bags and relax at the luxurious Sofitel hotel. Set in the heart of Brussels, in direct connection to the Grand Place, next to the European District, Sofitel Brussels Europe is a truly elegant hotel, ideally located on the vibrant Place Jourdan, one of the last typical Brussels atmosphere square. 8,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is located conveniently - parking at Place Jourdan nearby - Nice location
Cons: The price was quite steep because of the date ( I guess). No bath. Room rather small. But that is about it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly all the time. Clement, at the reception desk, gave us really useful tips on where to go and what to visit in Brussels. Jimmy and all the catering staff were absolutely fantastic - always checking on us to see if we needed something else. Their hot chocolate is creamy and tasty. The breakfast is the best I've ever had in a hotel and it's worth every cent. :) Also, every night we found chamomile tea, Neuhaus chocolate and comfy slippers placed beside our bed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, great customer service, luxury toiletries, luxury room
Cons: Nothing..it was perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: it was an Excellent Hotel. clean, quite. good location, good sttaff.
Cons: NOTHING
9,2 Excellent
Pros: All good as usual.
Cons: I did not get my usual upgrade as a gold member of Accor.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Front desk employees were very polite, as well as the breakfast staff.
Cons: This is a 5 star hotel in the lower category. If you are used to 5 star hotels internationally (even Sofitel) you might get dissapointed. You miss just the extra bit of service and expect higher standards. In example: there is no minibar, front desk just hung up the phone when they appearantly thought the conv was finished, conciërge promised us to arrange a restaurant within 20min after arrival and after we pointed out to be in a hurry, we had been waiting at the entrance for more than half an hour, and after some irritation at the concierge when asking about it, we proposed to go to our appointment and give him some more time and ask to give us a call. 1,5 hr later still no call and eventually nothing could be arranged. Eventually we orderded room service. The food was not in line with the price. Some expensive steak was tasteless and not tender. Everything came with empty salt bucket, we immediately called and it took around 15min to bring and in the meantime we already finished. Room service guy didnt speak english, and we couldnt keep the mobile table for some reason. So one of us was eating at the desk and the other on the side of the bed. Then we brought the finished dishes outside the room, stayed in the hall way until next morning, even when other staff came to ask if we needed anything else. Finally the airconditioning in the room is not working properly, it remained too warm. After discussion with the hotel manager they sincerely tried to compensate for the inconvenience. The room service was not charged and they asked what else they could do to make us feel better. With all these things adding up it was already too much of a dissapointment. When we did the check out we received a gift with chocolates. Overall appreciated the way they have tried to make up for the bad experience. Neverthelles, appearantly service and quality levels among 5 star hotels, even at Sofitel, differ seriously. Lesson learned.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Upon my arrival, i was immediately greeted by the hotel staff. Check-in was fast and efficient thanks to the friendly Madame behind the counter. From my room, i had an excellent view onto Place Jourdan. I ordered from the room menu and delivery was quick (+- 20 min) and efficient. The hotel reception was stylishly decorated (it was a week before Christmas) and made me feel at home.
9,7 Excellent
Cons: Expensive but typical euro pricing

Cons: We didn't have breakfast there as we felt was too expensive...

Cons: Great stay and fabulous hotel. Would stay again!
5,4 Okay
Cons: The wifi in the hotel wouldn't connect with my phone. The hotel is located in a very fashionable district, but with limited dining options. Most importantly the hotel DOES NOT provide airport transport, this was the main reason I booked with them. Any hotel can call a taxi to take you to the airport (at your own cost) that should not qualify as airport transport.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good even it was not included in the room price in m-y case, but good quality and selection .
Cons: The hotel looks a little outdated and the carpets in all the areas probably need to be replaced

Pros: Location is good, close to good shopping. City Center is walkable but it's a bit of a hike. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. I didn't take advantage of breakfast but at 13 euros it looked like a very good value.
Cons: Despite paying for a room for 3, they provided no sheets for the pull out bed. Similarly, not enough towels and certainly not enough coffee in the morning! Room was too warm despite adjusting the A/C to the maximum setting. Strange sulfur smell coming from the bathroom.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. Large room that fit our family, great location, nice staff. I love that they had underground parking. That made it really easy for day trips.
Cons: I found the breakfast expensive for the selection. There weren’t a lot of options in the area though so it might be worth the price if you don’t want to spend a long time looking for a breakfast place. Otherwise a safe bet!

Pros: We liked the location being close to tourist attractions. We also enjoyed very much the rooftop breakfast. Room was small but it was fine.
Cons: Our room was uncomfortably hot. It was mid-April. Front desk staff explained their air conditioning system had not been in summer setting yet. Hot air was blowing in the vent. When we opened the windows, it was so noisy with drunk people going home.

Pros: The staff were friendly & eager to provide advice regarding places to visit, things to do, etc. Room was very nice & very clean. Breakfast was wonderful & had something for everyone...a lot of variety. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Loved that it's close to airport, but it was a little difficult to get to even using gps.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near Brussels airport. I stayed for one night waiting for my flight out of BRU. Overall it's a well-maintained property with spacious rooms and a very nice fitness center.
Cons: I stayed on a Saturday night. It turns out that the hotel restaurant is closed on weekends. I either had to go to downtown Brussels (a 30 min commute) or order room service. I opted for the latter, which wasn't bad at all but I would have preferred to eat at the restaurant. There is also no shuttle to the airport on weekends. If you are an airport hotel, you should provide shuttle to the airport 24/7.
