Pros: Everything about this hotel is awesome but highest points should go to the staff. They are simply so nice and accommodating that it exceeds your expectations. I wish we could be there again! Thank you for everything, You also have an option to eat your breakfast late in the day or even in the evening if you travel during the day, which is great.

Pros: U Chiang Mai exceeded my expectations in every way. All the staff were very helpful, polite, and ready to do whatever were needed to ensure my stay was pleasant. Breakfast options were great, as well as the happy hour at the roof top bar (make sure you go early since it gets quite crowded.) Location was excellent especially for the Sunday market. There were many restaurants, coffee shops, and cute shops within very easy walking distance.

Pros: The hotel took care of us from the moment they picked us from the Airport until the moment they escorted us to our driver. everything was PERFECT! The way how they welcomed us and the way they farewelled us. The hotel staff is very responsible and unique. We have never met such a kind people before. Can’t express how amazing they are. They always remembered our room number and who we are. I’m so grateful. The hotel is so amazing as well! We had great time! A resort in the city, just WOW. Outside of the hotel on Sunday, there is night market which is amazing. Highly recommended!!! P.S Dao is AMAZING!!!!

Cons: The rooms were really small for what we paid, breakfast was poor and not up to its reviews and raves. Service was ok - some people were fantastic while the others where somewhat rude.wish there were more lounge chairs by the pool... The soaps were weird and they make such a big deal about it . They didn't really replenish it. They left our room service outside of our room for more than two days.

Cons: The shower booth is too small and it's kind of inconvenient for me to clean my body. The shower was a bit too hot. More space needed near the washstand in the bathroom to put personal little things like contacts stuff, comb, lotion etc.. My room was next to the staff room ( or storage ), and it was a bit noisy.

Pros: Unbelievable location next to the night bazaar and right off loi kroh road. Amazing shopping and restaurants steps outside, not too mention all the inexpensive massage your body can handle! Hotel staff is super friendly and got greeted with a smile and bow everytime we arrived or left the building. Great value for the price and we would definitely stay again.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay here. From our arrival to departure, it was one of the most memorable trips we have ever had. Firstly, the location... it is close to the airport and in the middle of town on the river so you literally feel all your worries and concerns be lifted and washed away as you enter the grounds. You can also literally walk to the night market. Dozens of spas walking distance but the spa on ground is so beautiful. Secondly the breakfast buffets is one of the best I have ever had. Thirdly, the staff are ALL so unbelievably kind which make sense as the manager we got to know as we ending up staying close to a week, Oliver, is one of my favorite I have ever met. I could go on and on about this place but you should definitely experience it for yourself. It is the nicest hotel in Chiang Mai. We have been before and feel confident saying this. We went to Kanjana Elephant sanctuary and Sticky Falls and visited temples and had the most amazing holiday. To come home to our Kansara suite was just divine. We had another regular room too and it was perfect as well. From your greeting drink to picking cedar wood soap and bath salts to the comfy slippers to the morning yoga. There were also daily activities for kids too as well as other things going on in the hotel we were unable to attend this visit. We will definitely come back and am officially now a fan of Anan Hotels. It is as luxurious if not more than Aman and right along side my favorite hotel Six Senses in Nin Vinh Valley. If you are coming to Chiang Mai please stay at one of favorite hotels in the world. It is heaven. xx

Pros: Anantara was a beautiful property with a fantastic staff. We were there for our honeymoon and they made our stay extra special upon arrival. The location is a bit outside of town, but not far - you can walk in 20 minutes, or take a tuk tuk and it's only about 5 minutes.

Pros: The security lady at the 1st floor entrance was so kind, truly felt welcomed. The hotel's pool and pool side service is excellent. The staff brings sunscreen, insect repellent, icy water, a few slices of melon and towels as soon as you get to the pool. The location is also decent and the hotel staff at the 2nd floor main entrance did an excellent job of getting us transportation and directing the drivers to the right places.

Cons: Upon check-in we were pushed to upgrade so we could have breakfast included. I've traveled all over Asia and haven't had to pay extra nonetheless made me feel like I was a peasant. The service was average. Tried to fill up the tub for my other half and there were pubic hairs floating around. The room was also cleaned better based on how much tip I left. I had great experiences at other Shangri-La hotels but this wasn't one of them.

Pros: The security lady at the 1st floor entrance was so kind, truly felt welcomed. The hotel's pool and pool side service is excellent. The staff brings sunscreen, insect repellent, icy water, a few slices of melon and towels as soon as you get to the pool. The location is also decent and the hotel staff at the 2nd floor main entrance did an excellent job of getting us transportation and directing the drivers to the right places.
Cons: The condo next door is being constructed, so we had to bear a constant construction noise at the pool side, but it is not the hotel's fault. The room is not as clean as I would like. The carpet is a bit old and is stained. The room air condition fan noise is loud even at the lowest fan speed setting. The most of the hotel staff did an excellent job of providing good service, but noticed the land of thousand smiles is no where to be found with a few staff.

Pros: We were treated so very well from the moment arrived. The hotel management and the staff went out of their way to add to the stay experience. We were presented with a basket of food on arrival, an orchid was placed on the turned down bed each day and we enjoyed a free gala dinner on one of the evenings. Finally given a free shuttle to the airport. I have never experienced anything so generous and willingly given from an hotel. We will be back.

Pros: My parents came to this hotel 30 years ago when they lived here before, but you wouldn’t be able to tell it’s age by how modern and nice it is now! The staff was awesome, when we arrived, they were doing a shift change which included a little dance in the middle of the lobby. The wonderful front desk person, Poot, was so helpful and was able to find us a room with a view and helped us book our taxi back to the airport and provided us breakfast boxes. The rooms were really big, and there were outlets everywhere so two people didn’t have to fight. The breakfast was included and had a lot of variety. We booked a tour with their tour desk and she was very helpful and we had a great time. It’s also right across the street from the night market and easily walkable anywhere you’d want to go! Overall a great stay and would highly recommend the Dusit D2 to anyone!

Cons: The shower was a bit funky. It was a huge step up to get into the shower. For some reason the shower is separated by the rest of the room by glass walls, making it viewable from any point in the room. Even more oddly, the privacy for the shower is a set of horizontal blinds located on the outside of the shower. Meaning, someone in the room can walk up and open the blinds and see you using the shower or bathroom. Not that this would happen, but I find that to be very odd, and I've never seen that in my entire life.

Cons: The Hotel offers free airport pick up so they sent me an email with instructions on where to meet our driver at the airport weeks before our arrival. Unfortunately nobody was there. The hotel provided a phone number to call for any problems but unfortunately I didn't have phone service only data. We were lucky that a taxi driver was kind enough to call the hotel for us from his personal phone and he was informed that the driver was at the airport. We looked around again but we couldn't find him. At the end we decided to ask the kind taxi driver that helped us to take us to the Hotel. The Hotel refunded us the cost of the taxi and apologized for the inconvenience. I will suggest to provide a Whatsapp number that can be use with wifi connection and proper visible signage with your name. Also, our room was on the 4th floor and there is not elevator so the Hotel staff had to carry our heavy luggage up and down.

I was also disappointed that despite forewarning the hotel twice before arrival I would need dairy free milk at breakfast it wasn’t provided. First day I thought ok they made a mistake so I let reception know who said there would be some the next day. None again next day this went on for 5 days... not a big deal but I’m on holiday I love tea in the morning and was limited for breakfast already as I don’t eat meat. Any way its a ok place not as nice as it looks in pics be fine for a couple nights.

Pros: I stayed here for 1 night 6 years ago. This time I came back for 3 nights, it's still very beautiful and comfortable. Spacious and clean room, vintage decorating and facilities, I felt like staying in hotel rather than going out. It's a paradise in old Chiang Mai city. Breakfast is abundant with good coffee. The WiFi is good but you have to login once every day. The airport transfer is available, pick-up from airport is 250b, transfer from hotel to airport is 200b, need to reserve beforehand.

Cons: It's more or less here for years, so there are not chargers in front of the beds. We had to put them on the desk. Inside the room there are wood flooring, if you wear socks walk on it, mind slipping.

Cons: We had taken a 'standard room'. I cannot compare really, but I saw that most rooms had a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the sparse sun. Our room had a very small terrace that overlooked roofs only - and not the nicest ones. The room was quite cold (but the weather was cold too), and the lights were poor. Internet connection was a problem: I had to reconnect at least 4 times a day.

Cons: My main issue was a noise i heard at night below my room. Grantedly it was not very loud but it was repetitive machine generared noise that distracted me from sleep. I only told about this my last night to evening staff and they did not know what it was. The breakfast could have been higher quality from a western tourist point of view.

Cons: They overbooked and when arrived at 1030pm tired from our flight they sent us in a car to another hotel. It would have been forgivable had it been another 4 star or better but it wasn't. It was a dirty 3 star at best. After traveling for weeks I had been looking forward to two nights in one spot. It was a hassle to have to repack and get the car back to the Amora in the morning. They offered no refund, they claimed to have upgraded us for our second and final night but the only difference was a higher level floor. Hardly an upgrade. The management staff had no service skills. They were very unreceptive to complaints.

Cons: The worst experience We had in Thailand. Old room, the cleaning was barely done. We arrived after a long road and have been waiting 2 hours for getting the room wich was not the one We had booked. We got transfered the day after to another room after a long talk! The food especially breakfast is very expansive for what it is. Too much food without no quality. Never do an excursion with them because they change the deal and the price during the ride. You get kidnapped by the driver and have to argue 1 hour in order they let you go. The only good point is the nice pool but unfortunately not enough. The team say « sorry sorry you did not understand » all the time. Never go there if you want a honest team who treat you with respect. We already know what the team is going to respond to this comment. It is always the same thing in all the comment answers! The only strenght of the Siripanna is Marketing.

Pros: There are 02 7-Eleven located within a range of 300-500 meters from the hotel, besides, a big super market (TOPS MARKET) and a Cabaret show are also nearby accessible. Pros: There are 02 7-Eleven located within a range of 300-500 meters from the hotel, besides, a big super market (TOPS MARKET) and a Cabaret show are also nearby accessible. Staff is very friendly, helpful and caring. One plus thing is that the hotel offers free shuttle bus to the airport, starting from 12:30 pm.
Cons: The facilities are somehow old and the worst thing is that the towels always smell very bad. The hot water is also not stable.

Pros: We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Normally when we went to Chiangmai we will try the Lanna food . So we like Lanna food , culture ,flower and beautiful place.
Cons: We didn't like traffic jam in Chiangma, caused of many tourists no discipline in driving their cars. So, when we want to take breakfast or dinner, it's very difficult to go.

Cons: The elevator is slow. The express elevator was crowded with loud Chinese people. It took almost 15 minutes to take the elevator down for checkout.
