Pros: I didn't like anything about renting from Hertz. They didn't have a car when they said they would. Their local agents did what they could, however their reservation service is a joke. I wasted an entire day of my vacation trying to get the car I had ordered and then had to take a smaller vehicle or not have a car. Hertz gave no compensation. What an absolute joke.Cons: Hertz should change their name to Hurts! What a joke of a company to rent from! I have no idea how they have the reputation they have as a quality rental company!

Cons: I had lost/stolen my wallet the morning of my scheduled pickup, I was 1.5 hrs late to pick up the car. I had already prepaid for my rental car and they said they only hold cars for one hour. My father was with me since I had no for of payment or ID with me since he only had a debit card with him.

Pros: Good rate, good car, people were fineCons: They gave away my car. They said their policy was if you were over two hours late they could give it away. I was 20 minutes late, but there wasn’t anything in my receipt from renting that stated that policy. Hertz said that was there policy so since I didn't get a receipt from hertz I didn’t know it

Cons: They didn't want to honor the reservation. They didn't have the kind of car I booked for and they asked me to make another reservation for more than double the money I booked for. When I protested, they threatened me and tried to lock me in their office. It probably the worst ever experience i ha

Cons: All in all, an excellent experience. Very friendly staff at pick up and drop off. Great deal and nice car. I also liked being able to purchase the fuel upfront yet get charged only for what was used. I'd definitely recommend it to friends. Thank you!

Lies about availabilityCons: Paid for an uber to arrive at the location where I’d reserved a car. No cars were actually available and my reservation didn’t mean anything. Wasted that uber money and had to find somewhere else to go and pay for a second uber. Terrible customer service. No apologies and there was only one worker there so I had to wait 20 minutes for him to finish with the customer ahead of me, only to find out I was wasting my time as well as my money being there.

They said other people had made a reservation two weeks in advance and I had made mine the night before. What difference does that make. I had a reservation. Rude.

Hertz cancelled on me the day before I was supposed to pick up the carPros: I didn’t like anything. They were horrible.Cons: The day before I was supposed to pick up the rental car Hertz called and cancelled. They said they ran out of cars and did not have a car for me, even though I booked this reservation over a month ago. I had plans to take my family to SeaWorld and I needed a car to get there from Los Angeles. I had already bought the SeaWorld tickets and they were nonrefundable. Hertz really screwed me over on this one. I’m going to fight to get compensation on this one.
