Pros: The front desk staff is wonderful. Friendly and dealt with my complaints very well. Breakfast is also very good. Excellent for a chain hotel.
Cons: Heater didn't work and room was cold. And I couldn't leave the bathroom door open to help warm it either. They did offer to switch rooms, though but by then it was 10pm and I was just sleeping there. (They did bring me a blanket). The way the shades work is a little funky. The walls are quite thin. Easy to hear people coming and going. For the money, it's not awful.

Pros: Great Breakfast, Spa ,lounge, evening fire pit. Lovely grounds, very professional ,fun staff .The Housekeeping staff was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Whenever we meet in the hall they always greeting us in a very genuine friendly manner. The front desk staff always acknowledged us as we left and returned. The maintenance guy was professional & efficient testing the spa & pool water. The bartender was also very friendly and efficient. The Breakfast staff was wonderful and well organized. I meet two couples from the area who had lived in the area for over 30 yrs but retired and moved away but, come back and stay for weekend trips. They expressed how much they Love your Hotel and it's the only place they stay when they visit. I can see why! I'M A FAN! When traveling Hyatt House will be my go to for Hotels. Thanks Management for setting high standards and hiring a top notch staff. Thanks to your staff for making our stay memorable!
Cons: Everything was Great! The things I could complain about have nothing to do with the Hotel and are things like traffic from LAX to Cypress, the way people drive etc.....

7,0 Good
Pros: Everything was clean and looked good. The room was very nice and comfortable for the price and location. The breakfast options and free parking was a huge plus.
Cons: We did not like the bad sewage like smell that was coming out of the bathroom sink whenever the water was running. It would be nice if earlier check in was available.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place is off the beaten path.Very quite and clean.
Cons: The hotel does not have a hot tub

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff took the time to find me another room once they understood I had a disability.. great customer experience! The facility is clean and nice!
Cons: That we couldn’t stay longer.. lol
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so friendly and not in that I'm-this-way-for-work type of way. They all seem to take pride in what they do and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. I have sensitive skin and always need to get the sheets washed without bleach. I've gone through a range of experiences with this once I get to the hotel regardless of the how many stars they have. Sometimes they lie saying they've done it with me laying and getting an immediate allergic reaction. Here it went as smooth as butter. I usually don't expect much from free continental breakfasts, but was pleasantly surprised when I tasted the omelet and chicken sausages. Delicious. I wish I would have come down earlier so I could have had time to eat more. Even the pool had nice furniture. For the what it was, they were doing a great job at keep the place clean, inviting, and filled with great service.
Cons: The walls are super thin. When I was trying to go sleep, the couple's normal level conversation next door was coming through the wall as if amplified by a speaker. I also feel some of the chairs in the lobby could do with some reupholstering on the seats.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best staff ever. Reception and all others make you feel welcome and ready to assist you if needed. I come to this hotel yearly and it always looks like new
Cons: Why is it that 90% of hotels only have one sink? This sink was a bit high for my 5 ft wife
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All staff members greeted you warmly and made you feel welcome. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and bedding was just right weight for the weather. Free breakfast had many options and everything was laid out beautifully. Felt like we were family.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employee was wonderful and sweet. I told her that my partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and she managed to put stuff together even though the other front desk staff failed. Hotel employee is the best!
Cons: Staff checked us in and they were both cold. Also, hotel employee made a note for our room to be decorated plus fruit and candy, but I practically had to beg them to figure it out. I wish I was checked in by hotel employee. She has great reviews!

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Long Beach? This hotel has 80 square feet (7 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and pleasant room. Breakfast was nice too.
Cons: No - everything was very nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming, more like home than a corporate hotel. Comfort, quiet, peace and kind staff who are friendly and helpful. This was a perfect fit for me. Located close to malls, and easy to get to a beach and they include a bike with the reservation.
Cons: If a person was looking for a corporate hotel, not a good fit. This is one of a kind!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great walking distance to the convention center and restaurants. It was also a quick walk to the beach. Vons grocery store was a block and a half away which was nice for getting some snacks and supplies.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, great location, friendly staff, just the perfect place to stay before our cruise and we will definitely be back!!
Cons: I didn't find a thing I did not like
9,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very friendly and comfortable hotel. The location was also great with restaurants, supermarket, smoke bar, and clubs near by. You really could have stayed in the area and not far from a port.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great.
7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Availability of basic lodging that is clean with great customer service.
Cons: First time staying in a room at the front of the hotel and there was noise from unruly people on the street late at night (windows closed)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The vibe was great. The room was exactly what I needed to be comfortable and the shared bathrooms on my floor were clean and not an inconvenience at all.
Cons: I feel the $100 hold they put on your card until checkout needs to be brought to the attention of guest before they book a non refundable room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is exactly as it is advertised, a boutique hotel built in the 1920's. Hence, the creaking floors, the old world charm, the smaller units, lavatory and details. The owner has taken great care with remodeling, upgrading each corner of the hotel and keeping with the authenticity of the space. The two gentlemen we spoke with at registration where efficiently informative, a pleasure to deal with. This property has a quaint and cozy feel, not for those "just looking for a place to sleep". We had a room with its own restroom, most other rooms share a restroom in the hallway and this was intriguing to us, so I checked those areas out and the restrooms were pristine. There is a community kitchen, similar to a hostel, yet so clean and organized you feel right at home preparing evening tea or morning coffee. Take advantage of the waffle maker during the continental breakfast. The location is perfect for a stroll downtown, you'll be in the middle of it all. There was a gallery exhibit next door (live music) and the neighborhood just comes alive in the early evening here. Very colorful neighborhood with locals and travelers alike the weekend we were here. Ride the bicycles provided, at least once around the area or to the beach. This city is completely bicycle rider friendly and you'll feel quite safe along the paths provided. Expect the usual city street noise if your facing the street, we enjoyed this because it's not usual for us and looking out the window to people watch was amusing. Most units don't face the street from what I can gather, and there are 3 total buildings, Royal east with more modern decor and royal lofts with much more space. We were only staying one night but after only 3 hours here decided to extend our stay an additional evening.
Cons: Not one thing more or less. Fit our needs appropriately.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable, bathroom super nice! Everything was extra clean!
Cons: Parking situation-parking garage a couple blocks away and narrow ramps. Noise from street bothered me some-but I am a light sleeper.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff and environment. It carried over to the guest as well.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: For the price in that location it was great. Staff was accommodating. Checking in, parking, all were good. The hotel is obviously from an older era, and has a quaint charm to it.
Cons: The fact that the there were not in room bathrooms was a bit of a shock. We made it work, and it was fine, but that should have been clearer in the advertising.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel was cozy and located near a variety of restaurants and other fun things to do.
Cons: I think that the morning female attendant was a little impersonal and unapproachable but the gentleman that received us at check on was very helpful as welcoming

Pros: Sanjay went above beyond to make our stay exceptionally, he graciously helped us with everything. From local recommendations, early check in, ensuring we had another cup of coffee available, to brightening our day as we walked into the lobby, without doubt he made the stay incomparable to any other hotel we've ever stayed at. The hotel itself was remarkable, clean, lovely and cozy (and cool blue lights in the room are a bonus), but I can truly say it wouldn't have been the same without his guidance, hospitality and professionalism. He deserves a raise, I'd stay anywhere he cared for visitors, because it's clear he truly cares and will ensure you have what you need. Also I loved your soap (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap) sents...so relaxing

Pros: Courtyard was clean. Staff was kind. Love the t.v. service you have.
Cons: When we got to room, I put was items in the bathroom. The closes on it's own and locks. So we had to call service desk to request repair. When the service staff came in room, he said they have had issues with locks. I don't think he was here any longer than a minute, when it was fixed. Door closes and locks again. Waited 40 minutes for repair. He asked how long we were staying. We said for night. He said leave the door open, we will repair tomarrow. ( Leave the door open? ) ( ANOTHER ROOM MAYBE?)

Pros: The view
Cons: Reviews said that the rooms have AC but only fan air blows. Getting back at 1am, the room was warm. Turn AC on. No cool air. All night it was miserable. Its 1am, do I really want to call front desk and make it a longer bad experience? checked out ASAP.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and attractive, and the restaurant food was good.
Cons: I received a message from the BonVoy app at 10am in the morning saying my room was ready. When I arrived at 1pm, the front desk staff told me my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait a few hours. Ridiculous! They weren't even apologetic. I was told I'd receive a text message when the room was ready. At 5pm, I still hadn't received a text message but returned to the hotel to demand a room be assigned to me. I was told that the room had been ready for a while (?!?!). When I told them I didn't get a text message and reminded them that I had effectively waited seven hours for my room to be readied, they were again unapologetic and merely assigned me a room.

Pros: Provided on site parking without a fee. Also provided a nice breakfast with the stay.
Cons: No chair in room other then the desk chair.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel was really nice and staff was excellent. Room was clean.
Cons: One of the big reasons I booked with this hotel was for the airport shuttle. I landed at LGB around 6pm, called the hotel for a pick-up and was informed they wouldn't be able to pick me up until 7:30. So I had to pay for a Lyft to take me to hotel as I wasn't about to wait 90 minutes to go about 3 miles. I am re-booking with this hotel for a future date and if I decide to fly, hopefully the hotel shuttle will coordinate pick-ups a little better.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Not much
Cons: The location, when I arrived there were strange looking people loitering around outside. The toilet in my room ran all night, the couch was dirty the tile in the shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was installed.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was great. Breakfast was ok. The room was very spacious and Clean. The bathroom could use some extra cleaning. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again

Pros: It's super clean, the rooms are spacious, laundry on site is awesome! Minutes away from a planet fitness and other stores. Super awesome!
Cons: House keeping tends to come a little early
6,3 Good
Pros: Rooms were OK: shower was good as it was a real shower only, so not placed in the bathtub. Bed was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Overpriced and overrated hotel. It is located on a busy and noisy road. Local youth enjoys showing off their noisy exhaust pipes in the night. Walls of the room are made of paper: every word and TV show of our neighbout was clearly understandable in our room as well as all parking cars. The bed had sharp corners that stood out from the mattress so our legs are bruised from the many times we hit the corners. AC was old and noisy. Will not visit this hotel anymore.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Pool was great and heated. Room was clean and updated. The shower was a waterfall shower and was very spacious.
Cons: The blackout curtain only closed halfway and my husband had to fix it for it to work.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service and price are always excellent and I like that all of the parking spots have something inspirational written on it. I like how comfortable the beds are and the shower is first rate. I have stayed at hotel current for four years in a row and they have never let me down.
Cons: There is a free shuttle but I didn't find out until too late that you need to reserve a space because it fills up quickly.

Pros: Extremely friendly staff! They were amazing. Room was nice and very clean and up to date.

Cons: NOT AT ALL
8,8 Excellent
Cons: We were checked into a half clean room. Restroom was dirty. Bed half made. So disappointed made me feel uncomfortable the rest of the stay. They did remove my parking fees, but only after I was offered something from the conscience stand and I declined. Anyways I believe it would of been a nice stay if the gross original room was not given to us.

Pros: The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Location was very near all the action of Downtown Long Beach.
Cons: The walls and ceiling/floor were very thin. I could easily hear people walking in the hallways, the conversation in the adjoining rooms, and the footsteps of the person roomed above me. Some not so ideal characters near the hotel.

Pros: Other than the walls being too thin, everything else was perfect. The staff ALL were so nice, friendly and just overall just great! Our room was perfect and clean.
Cons: The walls are a bit too thin and could hear the conversation our neighbors were having at 2am, but the hotel staff did address the issue with our neighbors....it was just hard trying to fall back asleep.

Pros: I really liked the personal service, the fresh fruit. I like the location, it's a little out of the rat-race, yet not too far. The area is safe, so I never had to worry. Coffee shops, and many restaurants nearby.
Cons: The room is small, yet it's fine. I will stay here again. I enjoyed the walk to/from the convention center.
