Pros: The staff in this hotel is really helpful and kind. You really feel welcome and well treated.
Cons: The hotel itself is not maintained properly. The shower drain was not taking water so the shower was flooding the bathroom. The ventilation in the bathroom was not working. The heating controls did not work. Well, ON/OFF worked but the temperature termostat did not have any effect on the heating. Far from a pleasent experience. Real let down since the people are so nice.

Cons: First room has an extreme bad smoke smell. Altough its a smoke free hotel, and the cleaning people should have noticed they put us in this stinky room with a baby. Had to wait back in line for half an hour to get it fixed. The rooms are outdated and are breaking down. Many items are loose or just shabby looking. Needs a lot of renovation. Room was spacious but was looking out some small windows onto a wall. Waaaay too expensive for what you get. I am not going back for sure. Ridiculous small and very expensive parking.

Cons: The Indian woman at the reception was so grumpy n her face was saying out loud how she hates her job. The woman on the night shift and older guy ( I suppose FOM as he used other uniform ) was friendly though. The room is basic. You get the basic what you need. The breakfast is disappointing. 2 from 10.

Cons: The room was very cold and clinical, no character or warmth, very small bath/shower and the glass walls of the bathroom do not give any privacy, it was obvious that the hotel was built on a budget, stark white lighting in hallways etc makes it feel more like an office than a hotel. We stayed in room 209 and every morning from approx 8am we could hear alot of noise i would assume from cleaning staff above us (sounded like tables or chairs being dragged over the concrete above our room, this lasted for hours, very disappointing as me and my partner love to sleep in. The bed was super soft which was not comfortable, and my partner who has allergies noticed that the room was very dusty.

Pros: The location was excellent about 2 minutes walk from the old town. The hotel lobby was very nice and the staff were very nice and welcoming.
Cons: I had booked a small room, whilst I didn't mind the size, the design of the room isn't very good. The electrical plugs aren't in a handy location. The milk provided was off and curdled when I poured it into the coffee. The window and wall along the side of the bed were very cold. I explained the issues to the staff. They provided new milk but there wasn't much they could do about the cold air. For the rates that I paid I thought this was expensive, despite the great location. I am not sure I would stay here again.

Cons: Only 1 pillow, prefer 2 pillows. The floor in the shower room doesn’t have a ledge to keep the water in the shower area. Would be better to put a little ledge so the water doesn’t go all over the floor.

Cons: My room was on the street side, so once in a while it was very noise. Also the airco / heater made a lot of noise so that was not nice. i had to turn it off and that made the room very cold. This is for room 102 on the first floor, i don't know if this is the same as in the other rooms. But i would not recommend this room. Also everything is very expensive! Room service, breakfast 20 euro per night (its nice breakfast tho). Parking 20 per day!? And you have to park your car 10 min walk away on a parking lot i could not even find, so ive decided to park somewhere else. for this price would at least expect free parking for guests! Also there is a bad suage smell on entrance, it think its from the street.

Cons: We ordered food from the restaurant and it was for 4 people. 3 times the waiter had to come back to us and say they didn't have what we wanted. Every time we chose something new he had to come back and say it was not available. In the end I had to ask him what they did have which was not much considering they only have circa 11 dishes on the menu. The first 2 dishes came out to us and the pizza was just out of the microwave, it was like rubber dough, and the pasta was burnt from being reheated in the microwave. Appaling a hotel can charge between 12 and 15 euro for dishes out of the microwave. We ended up cancelling our food and going to mc Donald's. Not a great service to receive when we were going to be spending at least 100 euro there with drinks etc after paying already for 2 rooms which were also expensive for what we received. (Circa 104 euro per room for 1 night) We have stayed at other ibis hotels in the Netherlands & Belgium and that's why we chose this hotel due to previous experiences with ibis being so great. BIG Mistake. Very very basic at best, even the toilet roll was basic. Woke up to the cleaner banging her trolley and items off the door at around 8am. Most people were still asleep so I can only imagine how many were woke up by this. I would not recommend to friends or family. We booked this as a Christmas present to my mother and her partner (who travelled from Ireland to see the Christmas markets). Disappointed with what we received for our money.

I have no idea why other hotels do not do this when they combine beds to create a double bed. the rooms where silent. slept great. great breakfast. fast wifi. it's not fancy but does the trick. great stay for bed, shower, breakfast when in the city. employees are seasoned and know the drill. this way their work is on auto pilot and they have room for nice contact.

Pros: The location is excellent. Easy walking distances to everything: the shops, the old city, a wide variety of places to eat and the amazing central train station is so close. No need for a taxi when checking out. The staff were extremely friendly and willing, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh. The beds were indeed very comfortable. Combine that with the very quiet rooms you can guarantee a peaceful nights sleep. I would have liked a better wardrobe than the bookshelf type and would have preferred not to have to ask for more coat hangers (only 3 between 2 people). Housekeeping brought more and replaced a lamp within 1/2 hour of asking. Overall - great place to stay. Our choice on returning to Antwerp.

Pros: Hotel is located nearby the city center. Walking distance is 15 minutes from the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is newly renovated so all is modern and clean. If you look for something practical and if your plan is to use the hotel just to sleep and rest then this is a great choice.

Cons: The first room i stayed in, a standard single have poor quality furniture and mattress. The Second room a standard double was a lot better.

Cons: I hated the twin beds. Not the fact that they were separate, but the fact that the mattresses are so light, and with every turn it would move, which meant you spent mos of the night trying to keep the mattress on the base. The mattress was also stained and it just did not seem that clean to me.

Cons: The hotel looked unclean from the outside but pleasantly surprised when we went through the door. Bed's were too soft, scuffs on the walls. Breakfast wasn't anything to shout about; dry bread and reconstituted ham.
