Pros: The staff in this hotel is really helpful and kind. You really feel welcome and well treated.
Cons: The hotel itself is not maintained properly. The shower drain was not taking water so the shower was flooding the bathroom. The ventilation in the bathroom was not working. The heating controls did not work. Well, ON/OFF worked but the temperature termostat did not have any effect on the heating. Far from a pleasent experience. Real let down since the people are so nice.

Cons: The room, although large, appeared to be tired and required updating and modernisation. We had to move rooms due to the lack of air conditioning - the first room being overwhelmingly hot.

Cons: Although the hotel was not fully booked we got a room to a noisy alley with restructuring works in the neighboring builing starting at 6.30 a.m. instead for a quiet room looking to the patio as requested in our booking. Thus sleeping with open window was impossible.

Pros: My Complaint is that they are retrospectively trying to make me pay E16 for a phone call I did not make. I wanted to make a call from the room but on asking reception how , they told me that outgoing calls from the room were barred. So I did not make one. There was one call made to me from outside that was naturally charged to the caller. There were no other calls

Pros: The location is excellent. Easy walking distances to everything: the shops, the old city, a wide variety of places to eat and the amazing central train station is so close. No need for a taxi when checking out. The staff were extremely friendly and willing, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh. The beds were indeed very comfortable. Combine that with the very quiet rooms you can guarantee a peaceful nights sleep. I would have liked a better wardrobe than the bookshelf type and would have preferred not to have to ask for more coat hangers (only 3 between 2 people). Housekeeping brought more and replaced a lamp within 1/2 hour of asking. Overall - great place to stay. Our choice on returning to Antwerp.

Cons: The sheets were not clean, the shower had mold and the AC/Heating system was not working properly - which is a really negative point in the middle of the winter. Also, the pillows were not comfortable (but I guess that is subjective).

All wind was entering in the room. I paid for a superior and I get a normal room. Calefactor is very noisi as well as air conditioner, very very old and like a engine of a truck. Impossible to sleep, and the room like a fridge. Was then cold than we couldn't get even a shower because the bath doesn't have calefaction. Incredible in a hotel like this, that I always used to recommend. I hope they can fix all this things.

Cons: The facilites are pretty run down and the sound isolation is very poor. We didn't feel very comfortable in our room overall. We were quite disappointed because the hotel seemed more pleasant in the photos online than what we found.

Pros: The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, it was mostly clean except for some scratches and spots on the wall.
Cons: The bathroom was very dark as there was only one small light, so the lighting wasn’t very good, our room was right next to the elevator so it was very loud.

Cons: No Mini Bar in the Room. Carpets in the Room have to be changed. In the Restaurant stuff have to react quicker when something missing, because, everything missing, started with refilling of food till juice. I lost my 9,5 euros, but never mind.

Cons: The hotel looked unclean from the outside but pleasantly surprised when we went through the door. Bed's were too soft, scuffs on the walls. Breakfast wasn't anything to shout about; dry bread and reconstituted ham.
