I liked the luxurious atmostphere, bath, location, internet and somewhere safe to leave the car.
It was surprising that there was no english tv Channel. bbc World / bbc 2 were changed to Music and cnn was not working.
The breakfast/restaurant and the comfort level of the bed were the only decent part of the hotel.
The rooms are well past their "use by" date - stained carpets, burns on the furniture, stained shower curtains, mold on the shower walls. The rooms are also extremely dark - I stayed in an Executive room and had to move the lamps next to the desk so as to no strain my eyes. There are very few restaurants within walking distance, particularly on Sunday nights when the hotel restaurant is closed - the hotel recommends the same restaurant to everyone but it only holds about 40 people. Also asked at reception (she was unsure where the airport was!) how far the airport was and was told it was 20kms away and would take 28 mins - in truth, it was 9 kms and took 10 mins. Also, note that they don't stock the mini-bar in the room.
Hotel restaurant, excellent food.
Heating didn't work, overly squeaky doors, parking garage too small.
Good facilities, helpful staff
Lighting in room was too subdued
Location for the Wezenberg Pool was excellent (across the road!!) which was what we went for. Comfort, cleanliness, large room, air-con worked well, bar, bar staff were lovely, excellent breakfast, price. I would definitely stay here again.
I felt the staff on reception were a bit anti-English and I felt like I was an inconvenience to them EXCEPT for a Dutch guy called Mike Osinga. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was very helpful and friendly even finding out which train we needed and from which platform. All hotels need more Mike Osingas!! What a lovely young man!
We had booked a non-smoking room and when we arrived we found our room actually had a strong smell of smoke. We were then moved to a smaller non-smoking room, which was fine.
Outstanding, efficient and friendly service from the hotel staff. Breakfast buffet was very nice.
Excellent value for money at weekends. Although not central the transport links are very good indeed with a tram stop some 100 yards from the hotel.
comfort of the room
nobody spoke french in the reception for an hotel with for stars it's very sad
