Pros: We like how close to the Disneyland resort you are, and the pool and water park that are available if you are not at the parks
Cons: We did not like that on the second night of our stay how the bath tub started to back up when we returned from the park. The smell was atrocious. When we called the front desk, they informed us that nothing could be done until 7:30 the next morning. No shower after a full day at Disney. When we woke up the next morning, the bath tub was still backing up. Again no shower. When I told the front desk the next morning at check out, they asked if I had been offered to be moved, we were never offered. Are parking which expired at 3 the day of checkout was comped after that but not much more. We have stayed her 2 other times in the past year and half but never experienced anything like this. Just upset that more wasn't done to fix a stinky backed up bath tub when it was reported.

Pros: Great location close to Disneyland - easy walk to the park. Had a room that looked across Harbor Blvd toward Disneyland. Had an AWESOME view of the fireworks. Staff was friendly, pool was clean, just wished there was a hot tub in the Garden pool, not just Castaway Cove, too many kids in it to be relaxing for an adult, pool hours just right. AC in the room. Wished frig was larger, really only had room for a meal/day in it for 3 people, couldn't imagine if we had more people - a bigger frig would really have been nice. Despite the things I'd change, it was still the BEST VACATION EVER!
Cons: Our bathroom sink was quite sloped, things would roll off it. Wish the frig was larger and that there was a hot tub in the Garden Pool.

Cons: The rooms are exhausted and are in bad need of refurbishment. We stayed here 5 years ago and it was in better shape then. Housekeeping staff were nice, but the front desk staff were a bit rude and chatted among themselves rather than being attentive to guests.

Pros: I was a little nervous cuz it's an older hotel and a 3 star, but I booked based on the reviews. They were right! Large clean room. Easy check in and check out. Comfy bed and pillows. Short walk to Disneyland (why we stayed). I would definatley stay again.
Cons: It was a little chilly and we could have used an extra blanket in our room. I'm sure they would have provided one of we called the front desk but it was late (1am) and just wanted to go to bed. Tried the heater but it smelled like something was burning.

Pros: Outstanding personable staff, very well kept, a true classic like the park across the street. It is designed for family's with small children, and sometimes they get loose! Fortunately all were exhausted and and quiet by a reasonable time. Didn't really notice many, if any, teenagers.

Cons: Restaurant on premises or breakfast service would have been nice, the water park seemed small based on expectations: okay for younger kids but older kids would get bored easily and prefer the standard pool.

Pros: This hotel was 10 minute walk to the gate. It was nice and easy even at night. The staff was nice and very efficient. The Castaway Lagoon was a fun was to spend the morning or afternoon. My 5 yr old twins had a blast.
Cons: WiFi was horrible. Walls were thin. The people above us were so loud my kids had a hard time sleeping the last night. Cleaning crew left cart in hall starting at 8 in the morning was still there 1 pm and did not seem to have been moved nor was there anyone in any of the rooms cleaning

Pros: Our stay at Howard Johnson Anaheim was excellent! Check in was super fast. We arrived early and they allowed us to pre-check-in, hold baggage, and hang out at poolside. Water features were excellent for the kids. While at Disneyland (which is only a short walk away) kids kept asking when we were going back to the hotel to the kid water playground. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Not so much a didn't like, but more so a would've liked- it would be awesome if food and drinks were available at poolside and water playground.

Cons: Almost everything was outdated. Didnt like much. The bedding felt so gross; as if had been sitting there for weeks acumulating dust. Then the room felt really moist, almost humid when we walked in. The bathroom looked like it was for an old person. It said I got a deal after paying $200, but it seemed like it was a $100 room. In the pictures it looked like a $300-$400 room.... Super disappointed.

Pros: My Wife and I stayed here for the Disneyland Half Marathon (Labor Day Weekend) . The Price is the best available. We paid only $12 more than what the Motels nearby were going for. This park is literally down the street for Disneyland Entrance. We walked to the starting line and back from the finish line. Really easy walk. The location is also great because it is next to great restaurants in the Anaheim Garden Walk. The Staff is top notch and have great customer service. Rooms are standard hotel size but extremely clean and nice hard wood floors. The Bathrooms are excellent. The Beds are super comfortable. Parking is limited but we never had a problem getting a spot, but could see were people might not get one.
Cons: The walls are a little thin and with it being a family hotel you can here kids and baby crying very easily. The Nightly Disney Firework show is nice to watch but is extremely loud in the hotel.

Pros: We stay here every time we visit the convention center, see an Angels game or want to visit the Disney theme parks. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms ahs bathrooms are very stylish, comfortable, and very cream with plenty of towels. There is a restaurant on site as well as ready to eat food and drinks in the lobby. The pool, spa and gym are very nice. The guest laundry and business center are a nice addition. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee places and stores. Highly recommended!
Cons: Limited parking. No ice and vending machines on every floor. Only one elevator that can be very slow during busy hours.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. It's a small but very modern and clean hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, our room was always clean and beds were very comfy, sadly not much of a view, but they are nice enough to ask you for your room preference. The location is great, right beside the Anaheim Gardenwalk with plenty of restaurants and shops, also it's a 10 min walk to Disneyland. The best part for us was the free parking with security gates only accessible with your room key, perfect if you have rented a car. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: We loved the location and that it was new. It had a nice pool that is shared with the neighboring hotel. The breakfast buffet was perfect to start our day at Disneyland and the following day prior to the drive home. They also will lend or give for free many items such as cell phone chargers, curling irons, toothbrushes, etc. they have complimentary Wall Street journal and USA Today and tv with DIRECTV with most of the channels we get at home in hidef.

Cons: I booked through Priceline which told me parking was free, when we arrived we were informed it would be $17/day. (I don't live far and don't usually stay at a hotel when visiting Disneyland, I didn't realize mostly all the hotels charge for parking) I told the front desk that Priceline said parking was free and she gave me a 2 day free pass for the confusion. It was much appreciated.

Cons: There were ants in my bathroom on the day I arrived and I told about that to the people at the lobby but housekeeping never came within 20 minutes, which they promised. Pros: After discussing with manager Francisco for some time he reluctantly offered some compensation other than a token $50. The convention center is right out the front door and parking is the best for the Anaheim convention center.
Cons: I prepaid for my room over 3 months in advance and Marriott decided they could make more money by selling my already paid for and booked room to someone else and then tell I'm sorry. So after having my money, making interest on it they then sold the same room to someone else at a higher price and said sorry we don't have a room for you, sorry for the inconvenience. We'll put you (my wife, kids and myself) in another hotel away from your convention where you are an exhibitor, cosplaying and on panels. Unfortunately this is the 4th time in a row that Marriott has severely under performed. This is no longer an isolated incident but a complete brand change from the Marriott I have always know. I would rate them at a 2 star at best with the new corporate image they have chosen. However the alternate hotel where they referred my Hyatt House was awesome. I wish they were at the convention center and I had booked with them. Marriott said I will have to contact Kayak to get refunded on the night that that Marriott did not have a room for me. Just one more hassle and present from Marriott for me. Oh and they gave me a "I'm sorry give bag" in the room with a different guest name on (evidently they did this to a min of 5 other individuals) and the 4 little chocolates we so awful that my 8 year old sone who will eat anything asked me if he could spit it out in the trash. I of course said yes and I had the same simultaneous reaction. I'll leave it at this.

Cons: Staff was not engaging. Reservation was booked with 3 adults and 2 children and the room stated it could accomodate 5, which was not correct. Asked for a roll awayat check in and was told it was not possible to have one. So i reference that i would then have to sleep on the floor and the front desk again said “that works out then!” So i have to sleep on the floor for 3 nights when it said on the reservation that the room we booked was for 5. Would have booked larger room if i knew i would be on the floor. Very disappointing stay. Would not recommend. Poor customer service.

Pros: The staff here was over-the-top accommodating! Pristine hotel with everything we could ask for! Probably the single best hotel experience I've ever had with my family. We've stayed in Fairmont, Grand Hyatt, and St Regis all over the world, and the Marriott Anaheim Convention Center outright crushed it! The restaurant nFuse was amazing, and the service was stellar. Happy, empowered employees make a huge impact! Cindy's made-to-order eggs benedict, Eduardo hooking us up with an executive double so we could fit a roll-away, Gretchen's 36-years of service and local knowledge, and then Yumi... Yumi rescued us twice! Once when my son had an allergic reaction to pineapple and she rushed to get us Benadryl (and some extreme kid-friendly love) and once when my daughter's shoe broke and she helped us get her some new flip-flops -- and Yumi is a server in the restaurant!!! Not even our server -- either day!!! Wow! Just, wow!

Cons: Cost $41 to park your car in self parking! This for 1 day & a half of parking! Absurd! $17 for a hamburger that wasn't all that great! All the food was way over priced. Got a New York steak that was soo charred on the outside and way over priced...$55 with NO side dishes, no salad. Rooms smelled terrible! We changed rooms 3 times. The 3 rd room was better, but not by much. Their $150 delux room is a very small box of a room. Very cramped! No bathroom fans either. So when you take a shower, the bathroom fills with moisture to the pint that it's dripping off the walls! And then the moisture fills the main room when you open the bathroom door. No wonder the rooms smell badly!

This lasted all night and early morning. We had to call the front desk twice and still didn't resolve the problem. They should really consider the way they place people in the rooms. Someone with little ones should probably be on the first floor so there aren't any disturbances. This was our first stay here and will definitely be our last. We were very unhappy with this stay.

Pros: This hotel was prefect for our overnight stay as we did a 2 day trip to Disneyland. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the parking was free, the jacuzzi was warm, and we had a great trip here!

Pros: I have stayed in quite of few of the properties around Disneyland and the Castle Inn is now one of my favorites. The front desk staff was always professional and our room was clean and looked recently renovated. They even had snazzy RFID key cards and door locks, which was surprising for a little motel like this. Another huge plus is the free parking, which is pretty rare for a hotel this close to the parks. And of course, the best feature is the short, 7-10 minute walk to and from Disneyland.
Cons: The only negative that I found was that there was quite a bit of noise from the outside corridors in the morning. It wasn't enough to wake me up, but may be an issue for light/late sleepers.

I was a bit early so they advised that they room would not be ready until 3PM, but I would be able to leave the car there until the room was ready. Also, once we got the room, the room was very clean, smelled good, and just the right size. The vacant fridge and microwaves are added pluses to the room to store food and/or drinks. Overall, loved my experience. Parking was not an issue either. It was very easy to find parking at any time of the day.

Pros: The room was pretty spacious, which was nice because we had 2 queen sized beds and brought a pack n play. The room was clean and we had no problem with noise from people walking by or neighbors. We ended up being able to leave the car in the parking lot after we checked out so we didn't have to leave Disneyland to move it, and the staff was pretty accommodating in that regard.
Cons: For what we paid for the room, I would expect at least some kind of breakfast option, and we had to push to try to park both of our cars in the parking lot, otherwise we would have had to pay $26 for overnight parking at a garage down the street.

The whole lot the hotels are on are very long and narrow, making most of the rooms long and narrow, as well. The décor was somewhat updated. Nothing special. Beds were not that great. Didn't notice any bug, or anything. Bath tub made a weird draining noise in the middle of the night, even though we had no water running through it. Must have problems with the plumbing in this hotel.

We called the front desk, we were told to share the parking with Tony Roma’s and no other room was available. First night at 12am Tony Roma’s parking lots fills with partiers and car thumping stereos. Second night, Tony Roma’s decides to clean its carpets with an industrial shop vac at 1am. We call the front desk, he won't help other than move us in the middle of the night. We called the police and they took care of it. The next day the day manager moved into a nice room for the next 2 days...never again...

We had a large flat screen TV and love seat sofa as well. The staff were friendly and really went out of their way to take care of us. Had dinner right next door at Tony Roma's. I was very pleased with the staff who allowed us to park our car here early morning so we can walk over to Disneyland. Cons: The location is next to a club called calls and if you are staying anywhere between Thursday-Sunday, it is impossible for you to leave the hotel past 8pm because if you do, you will not have a place to park due to the high volume of people attending the club. Aside from that, the pools was closed for 1 day due to "who knows what" but I can probably guess that it had something to do with the 20+ kids that were doing cannonballs the day before when the pool was open. The hotel had construction going on throughout out 3 day stay due to remodeling and although we were told about that ahead of time, we weren't told about the many denominations of church services that take place on Sunday morning, so we woke to a barrage of individuals who weren't exactly singing "on key"

Pros: We stayed here as a base camp for a Disneyland trip on Christmas. It was fine and the location was an easy drive to the park. I’d stay again from that perspective. Staff was friendly and helpful. Value for money was also ok on its own but much better given other properties a few minutes closer to the park. If you’ve stayed at an embassy before, this one is pretty much by the book, and you know what you’re getting.

Cons: My boyfriend and I came to the Hilton in Anaheim and stayed for two nights to celebrate his birthday. We have stayed at many hotels around this area because we like to go to Disneyland, and this was by far the WORST hotel I have stayed at, Mediocre looking room, lazy house keepers and horrible service. Also had to keep the a/c running at 65 degrees because if we didn't, our "non-smoking" room will begin to smell like cigarettes. Maybe it was the room next to us that smoked cigs in their room but it was very strong in ours. Upon entering the room, the tv wasn't working, had to call the front desk to send someone up to fix it, said he'd be there in 10-15 min...he shows up almost two hours later. It would've been nice to know he'd be there in 2 hours NOT 15 min. The next morning we leave our room go to breakfast at 7 am expecting that our room will be stocked with new towels and have our bed made...we come back at 4 pm and our room has NOT been replenished no one has came in to clean anything! I call the front desk and he tells me house keeping will be there in 10-15min. 20 min later nothing...I call back and tell them that I just need some towels and finally after waiting 45 min and calling twice I got my 2 towels. The showers were terrible. For starters the shower curtain kept wanting to stick to my legs and I had to place the curtain outside of the tub to prevent that, causing water to spill on the floor but at that point I was already annoyed by this curtain! Then the water took forever to warm up, and it was either SCORCHING HOT or ICE COLD for water temperature. Overall my stay was just very very disappointing. I was expecting more from a Hilton and my boyfriend wasn't happy with it either. I have never been so pissed off to the point where I'd want to write a review like this but this place is really NOT worth the amount of money you'd have to spend. (Btw they try to charge you $5 for a ride to the park when you could just walk right across the street to the Disney shuttles for free lol). I feel that I must emphasize that this place doesn't care about its guests, they just want your money. I'll come back to Anaheim and its other wonderful hotels, but I definitely won't be staying here.

Cons: i was woken up at 9:00a.m. by some sort of knocking maybe caused by expanding joints or metal or possibly construction occuring in an adjacent rooom. i was in the quient wing so the knocking made it more irritating. it went on from 9:00a.m. for at least two hours. i had arrived early that morning like 1:00a.m. and hope to sleep to about 11:00a.m. but with the knocking that wasn't happening. i had to get up and get ready and leave to avoid the annoyance all together. there are many factors/expectation one has when staying at a hotel. with this particular stay i was hoping for a long and good night's sleep. the hotel failed in that respect. that was the most important aspect of that stay given my arrival time and need of a solid rest before a long drive home. disappointing!

Pros: The room was standard but quite clean. It was evident that the room I was staying in had been recently updated, which was nice. This may seem like a small thing but the towels were amazing! Housecleaning staff was great. The concierge was awesome.
Cons: I was staying at the Marriott across the street for a few days and had to extend my stay so I moved over to the Hilton. The check in took forever. There were 12 people in line when I got there and 1 person working registration. When I left Marriott there were 6 people checking in customers. A manager walked up to check in a pilot, looked at the line of others waiting to be checked in and just walked away when she was finished. When it was my turn to check in my room wasn't ready and the woman checking me in was incredibly rude, for no reason. I left to get something to eat and when I returned a few hours later to get my room keys the next woman at the check in desk rudely told me I was already checked in and reprimanded me for not getting my keys the first time. Quite unpleasant and have no idea why. In contrast, everyone at Marriott was incredibly nice and helpful.

Cons: All food places were closed when we arrived from our flight. We were hungry but there was no where to get food. Also, the bathrooms were not very clean. It didn't look like the sink had been wiped down and the shower definitely was not cleaned properly. The most frustrating thing was that in the morning they only had one person at registration so i waited in line for 20 minutes to check out. I had a car waiting and a flight to catch. Very inconvenient.

Cons: 1. The staff were not friendly and polite. The service at the front desk was unpleasant. And then you got the door key card and after walked almost half a mile to reach your room, you found the card didn't work, then they requested you to walk another half mile to the front desk to replace the key card. 2. The internet worked on the first day, but extremely slow, then completely died on the second day. The staff promised to fix it in 30 minutes, but it was never fixed throughout my stay (five days). Every time you asked, they asked you to go to a nearby McDonald's to use wireless, which was more than one mile away. I had to rely on my phone to receive and send emails.

Pros: The staff were understanding, but their hands were tied as far as the new management's expensive policies.
Cons: The new management charges $10 per night for parking, and a $100 deposit on your room! All fees for cribs and extra beds went up by $10. The facilities are old and run down. The cable was spotty and in and out on every channel. The wifi was uselessly slow. It was a ridiculously bad stay for us.

Pros: I've stayed at the Anaheim Plaza several times. The location is perfect for visiting the Disneyland Resort and the cost is affordable for the location. Facilities are older but kept clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

One block down from the cross walk, but actually better than right across because we used the crosswalk by the hotel to go across rather than fight with 100 other people to go across the direct one. Lots of towels in our room when we arrived. The breakfast was a great option before Disney for us. It was 9.99 for adults and free for kids so it was perfect for my husband and I with our 2 kids. Pool looked really nice but we came in late, did one day at Disneyland, and left at 5am the next morning.
Cons: Dated hotel. Door and curtains let in light which we couldn't do anything about. Carpet was very dirty and possibly wet. We couldn't tell. My husband took a shower and then came out to fix the kids bed and then a few other things and got In bed and needed to wipe his feet off and the towel was filthy! It's time To replace the carpets!

Cons: We didn't like how little water was coming out of the shower head. The water kept getting hot and cold (cold most of the time) and the bath tub was draining so slowly, that by the end of showering, the water was already up to your ankles. Other than that, id stay here again.

Pros: I think you totally get what you pay for. We have stayed at multiple hotels near Disneyland, some more expensive, some less expensive...I truly think this one represents its price well. The room was not bad, outdated yes, but the beds were comfortable and my room appeared very clean. I loved having an outside fenced in patio, great for a very active 2 year old. Our room had both a microwave and a refrigerator. Also, hello - can't get much closer to the main gate than this place, which is really why we were there anyway! Staff was friendly, pool was huge - didn't get a chance to swim but we did use the hot tub. I'd stay again

Cons: The prices that this hotel gets are mind boggling. As one that was willing to pay for the convenience of the location and being treated well by the staff, knowing I am being ripped off but still had a smile on my face. Guess that about sums up a Disney vacation.

Cons: We arrived and checked into our room and as soon as we walked in there was a foul odor in our room. I called the front desk and the sent someone to come and spray sanitizing spray which helped a little but still did not remove the smell of mildew . Figured out it was the blankets that smelled as if they were not washed and dried properly. Next day we left and were gone all day. When returning the smell was overwhelming when we walked back into our room. We went to the front desk and we're given another room. The new room was much better but blankets still had the same slight odor ...not as bad as the other room . All we were compensated was one nights parking.

The staff was very friendly and helped us expeditiously while checking in and through the duration of our trip. The room fridge and microwave was very convienient for our family.

My children were constantly banging into the exposed metal frames of the beds. Lack of customer service by staff. Rooms are repressively hot due to poor performing AC units. Lack of donot disturb signs was a problem for me. I do not like staff in my room during my stay. I have a dog and small children and appreciate the privacy. The location and price were nice but we will not be back

Excellent, professional, super-friendly, helpful, accommodating staff at every interaction. The advertised room was ready upon arrival with no-wait, no-hassle check-in. Great location and price. Quiet hotel - no highway traffic noise or other loud guests. Surrounding neighborhood seemed safe, even late at night. Thoroughly satisfied, will be back if taking another trip to Anaheim!

The beds slept comfortable enough. Staff was friendly. Just a little pricey. For the same price i could have been closer to the park and had a microwave and refrigerator.

There was not a microwave in the room, which made it really hard to use the fridge for anything other than cold drinks.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Disneyland. It's also very close many dining options. The area felt safe and I was not concerned about sketchy people while walking around.
Cons: Our room was supposedly a non-smoking room. Not sure if they put the sticker on right before we arrived, but the room wreaked of cigarette smoke and the bedding had multiple cigarette burns. The room even came with an ashtray. Additionally, this was the first hotel I have ever stayed in that didn't have an iron.
