I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

Cons: "Disorganized uninformed staff. One says I have to have an additional "random" security check after going through the same thing in security. Turns out it wasn't random and I didn't need it. Both times they read my boarding pass wrong thought I was going to Tel Aviv - not random. Airport was hot as hell! Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

Cons: "delayed my flights twice"
Pros: "The crew was professional and gave me undivided attention. The food was good. I enjoyed the flight"
Cons: "Cabin crew could have checked up on me more often for anything I would need inbetween the meals"
Pros: "Both segmrnts left on time. The on- flight crew were pleasant. The 787 on first flight comfortable in biz class for a nap. Food service well carried out by crew."
Cons: "The 737 on second flight ....the long overnight one... Was very uncomfortable in biz class. On arrival in Nairobi...the hub city...there was no staff. A.c. no working or escalator in airport. Biz line for security not open. Food below average. No breakfast as we one meal."
Pros: "Crew efficient and eager to please. Generous with food and drink."
Cons: "Some seats had damaged entertainment equipment. One seat had a damaged USB charging port. We just used the one from the next seat. Another had a damaged remote control for the entertainment system. Still usable via touch though."

Cons: "Needs to improve a lot, so far one of the worst catering services ever faced."

Cons: "Just a horrible experience from start to finish. My flight was delayed three times, then canceled, rescheduled, and delayed two more times. I was reissued three different boarding passes for my connecting flight from Mumbai and then STILL missed it and had to reschedule again from that airport. One of the most stressful travel experiences of my life."

Pros: "Trip on the Dreamliner to/from Nairobi/Joburg went very smoothly. Entertainment was limited but worked and was fine for a 4 hour trip. Food was nothing great but nothing disastrous, booze was handed out willingly, staff were efficient, plane was on time - I rate it higher than SAA for the same leg and would choose KA again."
Cons: "Expensive at $800 but limited choice in Africa so what can you do?"
Pros: "The plane was pretty comfortable, they gave us blankets and pillows even though it was only a 4-hour flight."
Cons: "They served "breakfast" halfway through which was two tiny servings of meat and a piece of chocolate cake. Not much food and not really what I wanted to eat in the middle of the night! Boarding was completely chaotic, some screens said the flight was delayed, others said it was on time (it was delayed). When we arrived in Nairobi they hardly apologized for the delay, and also insisted on sending a bus to come pick us up from the plane because it was raining, which took forever. Missed my connection by about 5 minutes and had to wait almost 10 hours for the next one."

Cons: "My flight was 36 hours delayed and Kenya Airlines did not tell us why. I then heard that the same flight had been delayed three nights in a row. This led me to book another flight to my destination, so that I did not miss anymore of my trip. I am going to pursue a refund of my original flight. It seemed to me that Kenya Airlines new the flight would be delayed and said nothing until two hours before. Also how they handled the situation was very poor. I will never fly with Kenya Airlines again."

Pros: "The flight attendants were as courteous as possible."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed by 90 minutes so that passengers on a late flight could join us. Once arriving at Lagos, our luggage was nowhere to be found. The airline failed to follow up regarding when the luggage arrived at Lagos. Horrible experience. Fly with Kenya Airways at your own peril."
Pros: "Ground check-in, onboard staff, plane comfort were all fine and what normally happens. Nice leather seats and space on Embraer plane."
Cons: "At check-in we were told the departure time was an hour late - when I arrived at 2:00am. As I only had 1 hour and 55 minutes in Nairobi before flight to Johannesburg, I was a bit concerned and had to rush from plane to departure gate. Pilot said flight was late due to " plane arriving late", which I think meant - it isn't our fault."
Pros: "Business passengers still served snacks even with such a short flight. Great view of Mount Kilimanjaro"
Cons: "Not much space between rows,everybody reclined their seat, you could barley move"
Cons: "Their flights have been late all the two times I flew with Kenya Airways. Could be a problem if you need to connect to another flight!!"

Cons: "Delayed and missed my connecting flight. Spoke to some locals and they said this is the norm for Kenya."

Pros: "Always treated with respect, economy seats were comfortable. Attendants always managed to accommodate. In the morning, i asked for a diet coke and she said, I just have juices and water. So I changed my order. Then when she got a chance brought me a can of diet coke with ice. So nice!! I'll definitely fly with Kenya Airways again."
Cons: "IN Bangkok while waiting to board the flight, the gate attendants stopped making announcements and just held up cards. I was trying to follow instructions and not crowd the gate and missed my time to board. It's totally a minor thing but at the end of the trip at 1am it was just frustrating."
Cons: "They are always late"
Cons: "The Nairobi-Jo-burg flight was also delayed and this cause my airport transfer to give up on picking me up at 1:45 in the morning in a huge city that I am not familiar with. Crew tended to overlook me for headsets, snacks etc"
