Pros: Quirky, interesting buildings but not well kept
Cons: The whole place needs a good clean. The spa had towels all over the place. Dirty cups everywhere. Carpets needed a deep clean. Sofas covers in food crumbs. The shower stopped working in our room half way through a shower and the service was slow and forgetful. Overall absolutely not worth the money.

Pros: Nice and peaceful a place to unwind. Beauty treatments prefect.
Cons: Dated, in need of a make over.
6,7 Good
Pros: We arrived late after phoning ahead, and we were able to avail of the bar services after a tiring day. The room was clean and plenty of hanging space for overnight stay, charging point and web access available. Full breakfast was excellent, Service quick and cheerful,
Cons: The mattress on the bed was excellent, but locked into a deep frame that made getting into bed uncomfortable. French 'empire' furniture takes up too much room! Duvet was too heavy and we ended removing it and sleeping under the cover only. That was OK but if it had been colder - not possible, and the admin seemed to close down after we retired.

4,6 Okay
Pros: Nice location - could be superb if an investment was made in refurbishment
Cons: Dirty, tired room - filthy carpet, cracks and peeling paint, missing/dirty grouting in room. Shower flipped between very hot and cold. Disappointing choice in bar - four real ale pumps, only one gas assisted ‘real’ ale on offer Breakfast read well on the menu, but the execution was not up to scratch - strange ‘scrambled egg’ (perhaps powdered or liquid?). Mushrooms tasted as though out of a tin. Bulk brew coffee (tasted like it) was strangely served in a cafetière No-one asked how stay was when checking out so did not offer my comments, otherwise I would have. I have been in the industry for 35 years and believe I am always fair in praise or constructive criticism
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good quiet location. Lots of pubs within walking distance for food. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. Good breakfast We up graded to a large room which was super.
6,7 Good
Pros: The bed was good but the pressure of water for the shower was poof. The snack we had in evening eS very good and excellent value. Breakfast was good but young man serving needs to brighten up, whereas the bat staff were excellent and full of personality and most helpful.
Cons: The shower no pressure.

Cons: One slight mark on one of the bed covers One light in the bathroom went out Shower not very powerful, also took a while to warm up
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good food and linen, plus room had a bath. Friendly staff.
Cons: Poor wifi. Didn’t work in the room, and could be a bit intermittent downstairs too. Manager advised of undoing battle with wifi installer. Time for a change!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Didn't try the croissants. But the bed was very comfy and clean.
Cons: Can't really falt anything but if i have to choose a negative it would be - Tea & coffee out on display with the breakfast to just help your self rather than wait for someone to come to your table to ask you what drink you'de like.

Pros: Wonderful view from our room with 3 windows facing the seafront but when we first arrived, the room was very cold with a breeze blowing through the leaky windows. Findon Rest - Worthing - Bedroom

R1 209+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Findon Rest in Worthing, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Arundel Castle and Gardens and Arundel Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre.
4,5 Okay
Pros: Location was OK. Very limited parking for a couple of cars.
Cons: I'm 6'2, I could only just walk around in a downstairs room without my head touching the ceiling. Ensuite doorway had similar issues. Banged my head walking from the bed to the loo, very low beam!! Bedding looked like it hadn't been changed, dirty marks and bits of fluff, not what you'd expect. It was nearly midnight when I returned to the room so I wasn't going to ring the lady on the other end of the mobile phone. (no staff on site??)Cups chipped and dirty. My wife wouldn't have slept there, bloke on his own just got on with it. I realise it's a bargain price but charge an extra £10, I'd pay it, and do the laundry. A few minor issues that just took the edge of my stay.
7,1 Good
Pros: Nice rooms
Cons: Room 2 had damp smell and cleaning could been better as there was dust on pipes also cobwebs and rubbish under bed
7,4 Good
Pros: Nice size room, with tea and coffee, ensuite etc. TV had okay coverage
Cons: Shower door was broken, had to fix to use shower, leaked water from bottom of shower. Single bed mattress far too soft, cars driving past/away are very loud.
7,5 Good
Pros: Liked the setting
Cons: Ordered a takeaway and then discovered no cutlery
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay, located within a lovely area. Room was spotless and offered great facilities.
7,5 Good
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: Very loud squeaky door and very loud bathroom fan which continued for ages after you’d turned the light off
4,6 Okay
Pros: The situation
Cons: There's no Wifi! It works so slowly that you can NOT say that it has Wifi.
5,5 Okay
Cons: Very cold in room. Heating not very effective
7,5 Good
Pros: It was a lovely room comfortable and warm
Cons: The light was broken in the bathroom it was very dark as no window so you couldn’t see to have a shower, and when I spoke to the owner he just said they know about it but couldn’t get an electrician
5,4 Okay
Pros: no breakfast
Cons: no internet when advertised there was internet. Very unhelpful on the telephone. No staff in person at the property. No info on how to access the property. Poorly managed.

R1 268+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Relaxinnz Grand Victorian in Worthing, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Arundel Castle and Gardens and Worthing Museum and Art Gallery.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Comfy room. Breakfast good choice and tasty.
Cons: Needs a curtain at bathroom window.
5,8 Okay
Pros: I don’t generally like to provide negative reviews, especially in this case where the hosts were friendly and very supportive and accommodating. Understanding this is an old hotel, for the facilities, it was way overpriced. There was no hot water and the toilet didn’t flush properly. In fact there was very little water pressure to 2nd room also which we were provided access in order to shower due to ours was not working :( you had to run around, just to get wet. We booked out early and both the hotel staff and bookings.com were very understanding and happily assisted with our early departure and refund.
Cons: Basic facilities not working, if it was 30 pound a night you probably wouldn’t care. Overpriced
6,7 Good
Pros: Conveniently placed, room and facilities adequate. Amazing building, very interesting features
Cons: Noisy function under the room that went on until 1 am. Not even proper music, some sort of DJ with relentless Boombooomboom boom boom! Impossible to relax and sleep. We're not averse to fun and didn't mind staying up in the bar until midnight waiting for it to finish, but 0100 is taking the proverbial.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Not much really
Cons: Very old miss matching furniture bathroom was stained and full of lime scale very small TV on the wall that you could not turn off by remote overall very shabby and we paid 79 per room when they are advertising at 59 and 39 in the reception which makes you feel a bit ripped off. Would not use them again .
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: Worst night ever!!!! Asked for refund still waiting for a response from head office. Avoid this hotel!!!!
6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful building
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable
4,7 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The bathroom, the restaurant food & service
4,0 Okay
Pros: served a good breakfast and receptionist was very helpfull. Right on the sea front and close to town.
Cons: Room was damp and needed decorated. The windows are poorly fitting and the wind kept us awake the whole of one night despite trying to jamb something in the handle to keep the window closed. The shower is hopeless and barely gives a trickle of water. There was hair in the plug hole. The bed does not have a quilt/duvet but only has a very worn blanket.

Cons: room in need of redecoration
5,6 Okay
Pros: the staff (ESp Michael and Maria) were outstanding
Cons: Only that despite what seemed a reasonable tarriff we actually had to pay over £500 for two nights (3 people) so pretty expensive for a rather tired hotel. However staff and "atmosphere" excellent.
6,4 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Musty hallway
3,6 Mediocre
Pros: Location and friendliness of staff.
Cons: Hotel very tired, room and bed very old and to a poor standard. very limited food (do not eat there!), room very expensive for what it was.

Nelson Hotel - Littlehampton
16
7,0 Good (20 reviews)
7,7 Good
Pros: Location of hotel excellent for getting around resort. Food very good Decoration very tired looking but clean. Noticed planning permission for expansion would hope that this included full restoration of rest of hotel.
Cons: Motion sensors on stairs to long a delay you were half way up the stairs before lights came on and it was quite dark in stair well. Hotel needs it's own car parking spaces as you had to park quite away, away and if you had someone on crutches(as we did) dragging luggage was quite arduous.
