Pros: Very nice room, clean and staff very friendly.
Cons: Room was cold on entry, young man put radiator on and it took a while to warm up. Light switch was high up lamp on bedside. Door rattled through the night not sure if anyone was using the emergency exit. No bath in ensuite but not essential.

Pros: Excellent views of the Cumbria coastline together with the hotel gardens. The restaurant is first class with very good local produce on offer.
Cons: The room you are allocated could be an issue if you have baggage to take to the room. The hotel has no lifts and the hotel corridors are very windy. So not great if you have any issues climbing stairs etc.

Cons: Couldn't fault anything x

Cons: The owner was extremely rude, please people be careful. £260 for 2 nights, I payed £130 when I booked the hotel. Then on the morning of checking out the owner give me a bill for £260, so that’s £390, she was extremely rude and told me I didn’t understand the booking format. And insisted on payment of £390 instead of £260, had to get Barclaycard involved to resolve this matter, hotel looks better in the pics than it actually is. Would not stay again

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner samona, is very welcoming and friendly. She can't do enough for you. Little Beck is a beautiful property, and the room we stayed in, the copper room, was lovely. The bed was so comfortable. Beautiful furnishings and a fantastic bathroom. Breakfast is extremely good, and plenty of choice too. We will definitely return, ten out of ten for a lovely weekend
Cons: There was nothing to dislike, everything was great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: stayed here this weekend for my birthday with my partner and i could not fault one thing, we arrived and was taken to our room (marble room) which was amazing, the sky light at night was amazing we spent most of the night looking out at the stars, Simona was phenomenal and we had the chance to meet her son who had came up from London for the weekend who was nothing out polite and attentive, we are already planning another night back in October!! The breakfast was phenomenal on both mornings.. there is a little boxer dog called Roxy who is a rescue dog and you don’t even know she is there, she is very pleasant.. i would 100% recommend this place absolutely worth the money and already can’t wait to come back!
Cons: They was nothing I didn't like.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great bed, very comfortable surrounding. Excellent location and the owner was so helpful and accommodating.
Cons: My only criticism is that the bath towels were very small. I don't really do the whole bath robe thing, so I would have prefered a large bath towel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was warmly welcomed by the owners and felt very comfortable. Had a great night sleep all ready for work the next day. The building itself is beautiful and all work was done by the owners, which was something very special! The owners are great people with great surprises and care for their guests. Definitely, recommend this place and also will hopefully return soon.
Cons: Not a lot at all. I came in quite late so was not able to experience the whole facility as much as I would have liked to.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: From arrival through to check-out we could not fault our stay. We received the friendliest welcome and both of the guesthouse owners went above and beyond our expectations. Bedroom was lovely and spacious, beds extremely comfortable and everything you could possibly need was right there. Breakfast was freshly prepared, with a vast selection of options. But of course the favourite of our trip was the use of the sauna, which was extremely relaxing and rewarding, especially since my partner and I climbed Scafell Pike earlier that day. Thank you for our stay! We will definitely be returning :)
Cons: Could not fault our stay in the slightest.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. Location was stunning .
Cons: You have to be out of the ‘bed and breakfast’ (as Sue said) after breakfast and not allowed to return till 4pm earliest . Door locked at 10pm if you want to get in after that you must ring and let them know as you don’t have a key to the front door .

6,0 Good
Cons: The single beds was so hard
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really comfortable and the room was very spacious
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location was ideal albeit the parking was not available, therefore had to park at a sister hotel.
Cons: I booked a room at a hotel with a sauna, however the sauna wasn’t working. I didn’t like the fact that the hotel tried to charge me an additional 3% for using a business debit card, which is nonsense! The food was ok, but a little disappointing menu. The room was small and there was a lot of noise which kept me awake. Sorry to say I won’t make it a regular place to stay on my weekly visits to Workington. Hope others have a better experience.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Property has a small gym and pool etc
Cons: My room was above the swimming pool and very uncomfortable to sleep because of the heat, but they moved me straight away when I mentioned it
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, centrally located,
Cons: Prices for Dinner a bit high for the area, Also Hotel owners are charging circa £10 surcharge to pay with a Business DEBIT Visa card, despite there being no defend-able reason for this, kind of sours the end of an otherwise good experiance
7,0 Good
Cons: I booked a room which said it had a balcony and the room i was given did not have one which was disappointing.

Pros: All staff are a credit to hotel efficient and friendly made us feel at home .
6,3 Good
Pros: Staff were nice, the sausages at breakfast were good and they upgraded my room from a single to a small double which was kind!
Cons: It wasn’t dirty from a housekeeping point of view but but everything was a bit grubby-looking like the soft furnishings, especially the curtains were very stained and musty-smelling. Overall could be improved with very little cost and some elbow grease - steam-clean the curtains and carpets, a lick of paint, nice air freshener!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent facilities great
Cons: Steep narrow stairs
7,9 Good
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Nice size family room.
Cons: Some decor could do with a bit of a tidy up/update.

Pros: Bed,
4,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the mattress was clean and firm, there was room to park and the bathroom was clean. The couple of staff we met (on arrival and later that evening) were friendly and polite.
Cons: When checking in we were asked if we would like breakfast in the morning and we said yes but were then told there was a problem with breakfasts and that they would have to speak to the boss later! The room is very basic and one of the plug sockets was covered in gaffer tape but the accommodation had what we needed for a one night stay although the taps on the bath have been removed! After unpacking, we asked if we could book in for evening meal (as the menu was in the room and looked good value and there was a vegetarian choice) and were told the restaurant isn't open on a Saturday night! It was 7pm. We had no option but to head out to find somewhere to eat and on our return noticed a sign as you enter the hotel warning guests not to bring their own food or drink into the hotel as the hotel can provide food for all guests! On the following morning we hoped to be able to get breakfast and rang the bell on reception to see if this was possible, bearing in mind we had been told there was a problem the night before. We waited for quite a few minutes, appreciating staff may have been busy, but when no one came to the desk we posted our room key into the box and left. I realise this is a very cheap hotel but it actually cost us more than we planned to spend because we never managed to get the food that the hotel insist means no guest ever need to purchase elsewhere! On a rainy night and cold Sunday morning in Workington it is not ideal to have to find places to eat/drink but we were left with no choice
7,0 Good
Pros: worth paying for breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff
Cons: creaky floorboards throughout can cause disturbance at night
