Cons: Sat nav didn’t know the road it took us down had been blocked 3 years ago then took another 30 minutes in traffic and after asking a jogger, to find Hotel, a bit frustrating, would be helpful to warn visitors of this. Excellent 9,2
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, service was great, the place itself had lots of character with lovely grounds. We couldn't fault it.
Cons: Only minor things, a hook or two on the back of the room door would've been nice, some places to hang the towels, and some better towels.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: A lovely house with amazing decor. We had a large room with a huge bath which was great.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast - what can I say? They knew that I was a night owl from my previous feedback, so offered me a breakfast delivered to the room every evening, instead of having to make breakfast time. You can't get better service than that.
Cons: There is little sound insulation between the bedrooms in the annexe. You can easily overhear conversations next door.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: What a gem! Beautiful house with a warm friendly feel. Lovely continental breakfast in beautiful surroundings.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The large room for a reasonable price! Facilities excellent and the general decor in the premises a joy, with always something new to spot! Loved the giant dog and the suit of armour!!

Pros: Location next to airport
Cons: Bed springs noisy when you moved No where to put tray with kettle as I was using the desk to work A duplicate door key was issued and a man came into my room at around 5am in the morning. Strangely the receptionist said it was not possible to duplicate a key number and didn’t seem all that bothered. Not impressed that the incident occurred and less so with the receptionists attitude

Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was just a 3 minute walk to the airport! The staff were very friendly. Our room was large and clean and the bed was so soft. The bathroom is great with a rain can shower over top. You even get a refrigerator. The gym was nice too and empty on a Sunday.
Cons: I wish there was an outlet on both sides of the bed.
Okay 5,8

Pros: We stayed here for 1 night as we were flying from newcastle airport the next day. Great value for money.Spa area was lovely heated pool and jacuzzi. Sauna and steam room. room service menu was decent.Hotel was very modern on the inside. Overall great stay.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and my daughter loved it as well
Cons: Everything was fine
Okay 4,2
Pros: The rooms were clean...
Cons: The food was substandard to say the least first order was wrong and then got it replaced with dry hard tasteless overcooked meat and undercooked chips total waste of money, also the bed was really uncomfortable
Good 7,5
Pros: Hotel rooms and breakfast good. Rooms spacious and clean.
Cons: Spa facilities were not great, showers were dirty in spa changing room which was tiny. Despite filling in a detailed form about skin types, age, condition etc my friend I I were given a booklet at end of facial and we were both given the exact same specific creams, masks etc despite having opposite skin types. So it wasnt tailored to our needs.
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good Morning, My name is Scott Chapman and I have recently stayed at the Holiday Inn at Seaton Burn. During my stay I have found all the staff to be extremely helpful and professional in all aspects of their duties. Nothing has been an issue for staff whilst there, always more than willing to help. I am a Registered Operations Manager for a care company specialising in supporting an caring for individuals with life changing conditions. On the final night of my stay, there was a gentleman who from the outside appeared as been heavily intoxicated, the staff went to this gentleman (I believe the duty manager - I can’t remember her name. Blonde hair, training to be a teacher). It was a pleasure to witness this lady and her colleagues make a genuine assessment and realise this gentleman was and is actually quiet poorly. They attempted to support this gentleman to his room but due to his physical impairment, he struggled greatly. I stepped in to support and physically aided this gentleman to his bedroom. This staff member stayed with me every step of the way offering reassurances to this customer who initially became embarrassed at the need for physical support. By the time we got to his room he had changed from being embarrassed to relaxed and appreciative of the support provided. I think this lady and the young gentleman who stepped in to support also need recognising both from their management but also higher management and also in writing. In life, it is so easy to just “do your job”; it’s amazing to observe individuals like this with a genuine desire for other people, not just as customers or a number. Please can the manager either call me or speak with me at my upcoming stay this week. I was so amazed and appreciative of the staff members support, I would offer them a job in my company without hesitation! Thank you both. Kind Regards Scott Chapman 07958171328
Cons: Baring the rooms being priced high for the area nothing else to write here. Amazing hotel and staff that are worth their weight in gold!

Good 6,4
Pros: Service excellent. Breakfast good and plentiful. 3Rd night free!
Cons: Rooms very small for Marriott standards. Net curtains dingy and double glazing window frames filthy! A complimentary bottle of water should be provided as in all Hilton hotels. The television was a very small crt television and I have not seen one of these in a hotel room for years! Usually they all have large lcd or plasma televisions! Husband very disappointed. Rooms need updating!
Good 7,2
Pros: Nice friendly staff, concierge very helpful and tasty breakfasts. Bedroom spacious and comfy bed.

Pros: Only paid £74 for bed and breakfast what a bargain
Cons: Good location Comfortable Good breakfast
Good 6,3
Pros: We were told we were in the quiet part and considering there was a Mexican and Osbornes Bar downstairs we were not at all affected by any noise.
Cons: Bath had at some point been marked so obviously too expensive to restore. Bed base was extremely noisy when getting on and off the bed. Parking is limited and wanted to pop into town after checking out on the Monday morning but weren't allowed to leave the car - not that it was busy or any other events going on. We parked in the street and when getting back car park was as we left it - wouldn't of hurt to let us leave the car, would it? We have at stays at previous establishments. Receptionist wasn't interested in advising/showing where we could find alternative parking either, just said there is plenty of parking in town. Crockery used didn't seem to retain the heat be it your food or drinks, the heat soon left and both soon went cold.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was so kind and helpful. Everyone that worked there was willing to help us with any questions. My traveling partner felt ill and they did everything they could to help her out.

Pros: Unfortunately we were unable to eat in the restaurant as a lot of the menu was off!
Cons: We booked a table in the restaurant on arrival and when we arrived at the restaurant they had our names down but clearly weren't expecting us and hurriedly set the table telling us about 5 or 6 items that were off. They gave us the menus and came back to take our order at which time they told us of other things that were off, we left and went to a nearby restaurant Upon arriving in our room it was freezing cold so whilst we were out eating we turned the heating up. When we got back the room was so warm we turned the heating off but were unable to sleep all night. The entire event was a disaster. We told the lady on reception the next morning who apologized and offered us a complimentary breakfast but as we were rushing for a plane we declined the offer.

Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows Toilet was very close to heated toilet roll that you burnt your knees on.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Right price and clean
Cons: It’s a bit bit noisy due to the music and soccer but that all stops at 11.00

Pros: Beautiful place, friendly staff, location.
Cons: Staff were excellent although the front desk were multi-tasking so much at the desk, taking breakfast orders, serving etc. Thus I felt they were under too much pressure. Bed was very very uncomfortable, hard; we asked for two extra quilts to lay on which helped. We were in a garden room negative we could hear next doors tv world for word. Beautiful place and friendly overall. Would use again but would ask about the bed.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The rural location with plenty of room for parking. The rooms were large, well appointed and with an extra room for sitting in. The breakfasts were varied and the staff efficient and friendly.
Cons: Only the poor WiFi
Okay 4,0
Pros: Big room but not dressed for comfort
Cons: Big room. Nowhere to sit in comfort. 1 hard back chair 1 small desk 1 wardrobe 2 bedside tables and 2 bedside lamps ( the only source of lighting in the room).
Good 7,0
Pros: Good bed, lovely towels, nice staff. All in all it was very good.
Cons: Bathroom could have easily been bigger-- the sitting room could have a bit taken from it to make it so. Lighting not good enough or placed well for reading in the sitting room. Very warm, couldn't turn the heat off. I ordered the same breakfast every morning and it was different each time!
Okay 5,8
Pros: An adequate hotel but with less than comfy beds. Best thing was probably the close proximity to the airport.
Cons: Just the uncomfortable beds. The rest was ok

Cons: Not much could of been inproved upon
Good 6,3
Pros: The hotel location was ideal for our National Trust site visits - The breakfast menu was good as was its quality.
Cons: The Garden room shower room was extremely tight on space and the room was chilly even with an electric heater provided.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Good location. Staff were efficient. Food was excellent.
Cons: Bar needs updating but understand that is in hand.

Pros: Friendly staff. Value for money. Easy access.
Cons: The mattress was a bit worn and soft.
Good 7,5
Cons: No way to cool the room
Good 6,3
Pros: The bed is pure comfy
Cons: The fact it wasn’t a walk in shower, there was no lift had to carry cases up the stairs, there was a spider in my room the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but that was about it the rest was ok just slept from 2am till 11am as came back from the airport from holiday so was just for a sleep the bed was super comfy
Good 6,7
Pros: We booked this hotel as a previous review said it was within walking distance of the airport. This maybe true but not with luggage so was disappointed to have to take a taxi both ways to the airport.
Cons: We checked in late 01:00 hrs and out at 7:00 hrs for flights and confused this hotel with The Premier Inn which is located at Newcastle Airport entrance. We were told many people make this mistake, so make sure you are aware or which Premier Inn you have booked.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Friendly staff, and they had no problem with me taking my bicycle to my room. Room as to be expected from a Premier Inn.
Cons: The hotel is in the line of the take-off trajectory of Newcastle Airport; with the windows closed and earplugs in you'll still hear the planes. The adjacent "Wheatsheave Farm Dining and Carvery" feels to be more focussed on the quantity of food on your plate than on the quality. Dinner menu didn't appeal to me and I felt the (full English) breakfast was overpriced at £9.50 YMMV
Excellent 8,8
Cons: 2 pax in room policy; one room could have accommodated 3 persons with the extra bed
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Brilliant for a stop after a long flight. Breakfast lovely.
Excellent 9,2

Excellent 8,8

Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good variety of breakfast. Many options to choose from. Something for everyone. Hot and cold food. Fresh juices and tea and coffee.
Cons: Eggs could have been cooked better.

Okay 5,4
Cons: had run out of food in the restaurant
Okay 4,0
Pros: Did not have breakfast. - Find it difficult to find something to like other than the distance from the airport.
Cons: The hotel is tired We came expecting to have an evening meal, but the only thing on offer in the restaurant was a carvery consisting of only one choice of meat - Gammon!! There was also a very noisy wedding "do" on which culminated shouting and banging around the bedrooms. Also we were unable to book a park and fly - we were told that there were no available places although when we arrived at the hotel there were dozens of car parking places available. On trying again there was availability, but at £350 for 7 nights !! We have stayed at this hotel in the past and although mediocre would have stayed again. But after this never again - Premier Lodge for us!!
Good 7,5
Pros: Great value meal in dining room. Lovely staff.
Cons: Dead flies on windowsill
Good 7,5
Cons: People going for flights early morning making excessive noise
Good 6,5
Pros: The location is very convenient - right next to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was ok with the hotel considering the price was reasonable.
Cons: The hotel looks dated, and feels dated. It was a little dirty in places, including very off-putting places like the bathroom. The shower was simply dangerous-both my wife and I nearly hit the ground trying to get out of the shower, and I managed to cut my foot on a mysterious pipe sticking out of the tub.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Very good price. Food was decent and also very well priced. Ideal location for flying and also the priority meet and greet. Beds were hard but very comfortable.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Easy to get to airport it is a short walk.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7,1
Pros: To be fair, for the money it was adequate. The whole place is a little dated and not spotless by any stretch but it served a purpose and I would go back.
Cons: Car park was so full I had to park on the grass. Breakfast without Marmite!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: i did not have breakfast as I had to leave before their opening time.Otherwise facilities and hotel excellent and handy for the Airport
Cons: Nothing place was fine
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: The staff were nice and the locationn was excellent, though it wasn't signposted on arrival at airport so I ended up walking along the motorway trying to find it.
Cons: The carpets in the room were stained, the bathroom grotty, the bed was thin and old. The room had been cleaned to within an inch of its life but the hotel is long past needing a clean, furnishings need replacing.
Poor 1,0
Pros: This i had bad experience in the hotel.Dirty room ,shower leaking.toilet flesh not working properly.
Cons: This i had bad experience in the hotel.Dirty room ,shower leaking.toilet flesh not working properly.

Okay 5,4
Pros: Location and parking was good
Cons: Wasnt very clean and showers didn't work properly
Okay 5,4
Pros: It was close to the airport.
Cons: It was very basic and smelled of dogs!
Okay 5,0
Cons: Bed bugs
Poor 1,0
Pros: How it was much cheaper option, nearest to airport.
Cons: This guy constantly harrasing me all night, you could hear in toilets sniffing something all night. Had to leave at 1am for my own safety! I will be taking this further
Excellent 8,8
Pros: We visited for an overnight before flying out of Newcastle Airport. The facilities were very basic with a shared bathroom but it was exactly what we were after for the money. The room had a sink in it and a small tv.
Cons: My only problem was the ‘self cleaning’ toilet floor which made your shoes wet and didn’t smell great.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: it is very near the airport and it is very good that i can book in at any time.It is really good value for the money.the bed sheets were spotlessly clean as were the toilets.
Cons: everything was ok
Okay 5,8
Pros: The location
Cons: Pretty much everything
Good 7,5
Pros: Location is great, value for money staff are great
Cons: Rooms are really old needs some renovation, this is a hostel rather than a a hotel, suitable for a short stay only, no suitable for families I guess
