Breakfast expensive and poor service which was a shame
Excellent comfortable clean room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent food in the restaurant.
Sat nav didn’t know the road it took us down had been blocked 3 years ago then took another 30 minutes in traffic and after asking a jogger, to find Hotel, a bit frustrating, would be helpful to warn visitors of this. Although the breakfast was very nice I feel £18 per person was rather expensive
Lovely hotel lovely setting staff exceptional
Nothing not to like
The extra little details, like the music playing in our rooms when we arrived.
Breakfast arrived slightly late.
Excellent choice and quickly presented.
On the very edge of the city, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, is the luxurious Jesmond Dene House. This is a hotel that pays a lot of attention to all of the details that go into making a guest’s stay as good as it can be.
The hotel houses 40 rooms in a beautiful, historic-looking building that makes a lasting impression as guests drive up. All of the rooms are different. They’re decorated to be modern and sleek, yet bold. There are some classic rooms, but the best rooms are The Noble Suite and The Apartment Suite. The Noble Suite has sloped ceilings, a roof-top terrace, a stocked minibar, free high-speed WiFi, and details like a shoehorn and brush for clothing. The Apartment Suite has skylight windows, a terrace for dining outside, a large HDTV, and plenty of space.
Jesmond Dene House has an award-winning restaurant on-site. All meals are served throughout the day. For breakfast, guests can choose a continental breakfast or a full English spread. Afternoon tea is served every day, complete with champagne for mimosas. Those who are around on Sundays can enjoy a delicious Sunday lunch.
The location of the hotel makes it easy to see anything in the city. Not far away guests will find St. James’ Park, Exhibition Park, Great North Museum, and Northumberland Street. There is good golfing in the area at the City of Newcastle Golf Club. The hotel hosts quite a few weddings and has on-site services for doing so. There are also meeting rooms for those on business.
Jesmond Dene House caters to all sorts of travelers. This hotel delivers on luxury, comfort, convenience, and more.
