Pros: The house is situated in a tiny, beautiful village so we had a quiet and peaceful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, we felt really welcome which was especially nice as we were travelling with a baby. Richard gave us good tips for walks around the area. Frome is a quick drive or hour walk away which was very handy. The breakfast was great too, both warm and cold selection. For an old house, we were really impressed how clean it was!

Pros: Good location very near to attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Stonehenge, Wells and Glastonbury. Very reasonably priced for a 2 night stay.

Pros: Real farm with Peacocks roaming the garden
9,0 Excellent
Pros: So friendly and welcoming, loved the setting and locality, short walk to lovely country pub. Old farm house with rooms in court yard (possibly converted stables). Lovely conservatory room for very good breakfast. Top marks all round. THANK YOU
Cons: Possibly would have chosen a different room after seeing set up. The one we had in courtyard was fine for 1 night (just sky light window, would have been nice to see view). However room was lovely, warm and comfortable, large en-suite (shower no bath)
5,8 Okay
Cons: For a family suit, we were expecting a courtyard, farm view room rather than chapel view. Rooms were not heated well and check out time is so early as 10:30 am . We have been served the breakfast at 10:15 althouh they asked the preferred breakfast time the day before and we signed as 9:30 am. After they served 45 min lately , they asked us to leave the room in 15 min and this was unfair. Also they were not able to serve coffee before we leave because they were in a hurry to wellcome other guests who will check in. I dont recommend this place because it is also not a cheap one.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly offered advice about the local area and made us feel very welcome! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very homely. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area! The breakfast was amazing and the views were stunning!
Cons: There wasn't Alot I didn't like, the room was a little warm but that wasn't a major problem!

Pros: We loved the hotel and thought the decor was to a gorgeous high standard. We adored the pool where we swam twice and enjoyed the loungers all in a wonderful separate space I lay on a lounger and read my book undisturbed for hours as the sun set in the fields which is unheard of for me! Gorgeous location and enjoyed Bradford on Avon only two minutes up the road lots of independent quirky shops and fab restaurants.
Cons: Vegetarian options for breakfast could have been better
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very amazing and friendly. Place was beautiful.
Cons: The room was next to car park so could here cars on gravel outside. Radiator was noisy and reported but still the same next night. Was a good 25 minute drive to Bath.

Pros: Lovely quiet location yet minutes from Bradford upon Avon. We stayed in the Pig Wig cottage - charming, rustic, roomy, large beds, warm and cosy with all the self-catering facilities you need. We also took breakfast in the main farmhouse - freshly cooked, good produce, generous portions, served by our welcoming host Nigel - couldn't fault it. Having the animals (dogs, cats, ponies, hens etc) around you was great too - all felt like one big happy family.

Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: Room was too small, too expensive for what it was
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The ambiance of the hotel is very quaint. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really comfortable bed and loved the feather bedding.
Cons: No issues. Really like the place
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was amazing and the best. Dinner perfectly cooked /presented. first class Bed and quality of linen/pillows. Perfect for family break Not for couple on relaxing break. Too many children and spa area small to accommodate résidents and paying members. Pool area definitely for children/family only.
Cons: Needed a quite area just to read and chill. Children running around / through the lounging area, parents just following them. Unfortunately not spa hotel for couple but families only. Which is good as long as you read the small print. Had to pay for spa somewhere else as could not take the chance as spa area is next to pool with children (we had 19 on our stay). Like I said excellent for mummies and daddy’s.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast
Cons: Having breakfast with several babies in the restaurant. A rather limited dinner menu
7,1 Good
Pros: Lovely place in lovely surroundings, Spa was also nice, I had two treatments very nice and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Room very comfortable and warm.
Cons: unfortunately my treatments were 10 minutes cut short! 75 mins was 65! And had to pay £5 extra for one of the treatments! The treatment felt rushed. I wanted a stay that helped me to relax and de-stress but the hotel was very very noisy and so many small children crying and screaming in the other rooms, doors banging and at 6.45 outside our bedroom door a child was crying and screaming outside it felt like the child was in the room with us as the crying was so loud very amplified! Breakfast area was full of small children with parents and it was in a conservatory but again children were excited and loud some crying again. I asked the restaurant manager if we could be moved in to the dining area. I believe the hotel is family friendly but I wasn’t really expecting this, it was something out of the ordinary. So overall I would not want to stay there again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely for kids, great dinner, extremely cosy, really nice breakfast
Cons: veranda dining area could be cosier, late checkout would have been nice

Pros: The breakfasts and dinner were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the traditional, homely surroundings. It was warm and cosy. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful, especially when we asked to extend our stay by another night.
Cons: The B.B.C. television reception had gone down, which was a little disappointing as we missed the 5th. instalment of a favourite series.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Woolpack Inn is a great historic inn only 20 minutes from bath. it was our second stay here after staying there in 2016.
Cons: Unavoidable with an old historic building, but the steps up to the rooms get tiring after awhile at our age
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very good, comfortable, lovely friendly staff and delicious food! Well worth the money and highly recommended!
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: One window could not be opened and the other was extremely difficult as the sash was broken, the floor boards creaked at every step and the bathroom smelled stale and looked dirty around the fittings.
7,0 Good
Pros: I requested an early breakfast and was told that continental items would be available pre 8am on a sunday and that the chef arrived at 8 and would start straight away. That was exactly what happened.
Cons: Very little. Cooking smells permeated the room during evening service but it wasnt too unpleasant. Bathroom could do with being updated but not a real problem

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was absolutely excellent. The service was good. I arrived near to 11.00pm and was received without fuss; paid for my room when I arrived and so was able to leave in the morning without any issues.
Cons: The room was comfortable, quite small. The bed was hard against the radiator. The bed mattress was below par, too firm and unyielding for my taste. At home I have a firm mattress with a top surface which is separately spring for comfort.

Cons: Being woken up early by the Iceland delivery that was very noisy and went on for at least an hour
7,0 Good
Pros: location and facilities
Cons: Was disapointed when asking for food on Wednesday evening, told the kitchen was closed at 9:15. I asked if the kitchen could provide any food, anything at all, i was told politrely no. as the chip fryers was turned off ! I feel the kitchen staff could have perhaps made me a sandwich or something easy, i said i was happy to eat anything....so that was a dissapiontment. The resturant is supposed ot be open till 9:30 pm
7,0 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed. Excellent cooked breakfast, Very interesting old building. Delicious dinner.
Cons: The "quirkiness" meant that access to the room was restricted by low ceiling & doorway, and the room itself was not as spacious as I had expected (one chair only for two people). I didn't feel particularly well looked-after for the price I paid: no signs explaining where "reception" was, missing light bulb in room; no information provided on the wi-fi until we went downstairs and asked.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s bonkers and beautiful !

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great guitar duo valentines night finished off a treat.
Cons: Double charged but soon rectified
9,0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room, as you would expect from a 1700's inn was charmingly eccentric with exposed beams and sloping floors but the view of the river and bridge was stunning. We ate in the restaurant where the food was delicious.
Cons: Hot water could have been hotter but understand the limitations of what can be achieved so not a complaint at all.
7,7 Good
Pros: Our stay at the midway was very relaxing, and ideal for what we intended to do with our weekend. The room was well furnished and clean with everything to hand. We would certainly recomend this b&b to anybody who is visiting Bath or the local area. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful and a great old traditional pub right next door selling excellent food and local beers.

Pros: Firstly they were very friendly and welcomed us with our dogs. The evening meals we took were very well done, with plenty on the plate.
Cons: We felt it was a bit 'tired'. In need of some deep cleaning and decoration, but given it was towards the end of the season maybe that was on the agenda for them to do anyway.
5,0 Okay
Pros: We loved the friendly welcome. The attempt to make us comfortable and the general atmosphere. Charming!
Cons: The only slight niggle, if I am being really "picky" were the dreadful pillows.. They were small, and rather "worn"

6,8 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and good food. Nice and peaceful countryside location. I prefer staying in a place with a bit of character, as this 17th century inn had.
Cons:
3,2 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: When we arrived the reception was not in use, so we had to wander down the corridor until we found someone! The rooms were situated away from the main building in chalet style wooden buildings. The rooms were freezing; the heating was on time and didnt come on until 5.30pm, although we were told 4.30pm, which on a cold March day you dont want to hear! There was no electricity downstairs in challet where our room was, which made going upstairs in the dark very dangerous. We informed Reception who did not seem worried!! There were no numbers on the doors so you had to try all 3 rooms until you found your one! The pillows on the bed were in desperate need of being relaced. The food was pricy and very badly cooked: either oozing in fat or completely undercooked.
