Pros: The beds were amazing
Cons: The lighting and aircon could be improved (room 407,408 and 409)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Yeatman came highly recommended and did not disappoint in any way. The staff was exceptional and went to extremes to make everything perfect for us. Breakfast was amazing both in terms of the food choices and the helpful people, not to mention that it was included in our room rate. The location gives a great view over Porto. Walking to town takes some effort (and more effort for the return!) but cabs are plentiful.

Pros: Amazing hotel. My wife and I loved it.
Cons: Having to leave.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you step on to the property The Yeatman does not disappoint. The property itself is divine, but it’s the quality of service and the amazing staff that will bring us back time and time again.
Cons: What didn’t we like? When it was time to check out. Most definitely could have stayed on longer if we didn’t have a pressing engagement.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: excellent and attentive service
Cons: far from the centre , very small pool within a giant cimpkex

Pros: Great service, beautifully appointed, very convenient. We appreciated the woman at the front desk who understood we had no interest in bus tours and gave wonderful recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants.
Cons: wifi was finicky.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION IS GREAT. HOTEL IS NICELY RENOVATED
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was the most beautiful hotel, the rooms were a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the location is perfect, so close to everything, breakfast was lovely and had far more choices than we expected, but the standout for us was the service, we have travelled a lot and this hotels staff were simply amazing, especially Filipa and Carlos who both provided excellent service, I would highly recommend this hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, service and room are all great. It’s in a historical building which is just renovated recently. I specially want to mention that I accidentally booked a room (non- refundable) for wrong date through booking.com. But the hotel still decided to refund me the full amount. I would definitely like to stay in this hotel for my next trip to Porto:)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We travelled with a slightly disabled girl. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and kind. My sister’s birthday was on monday, she received a small b-Day cake from the hotel.:)
Cons: No such experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the old world feel, the luxurious touches, the numerous staff members, the large rooms and the amazing breakfast buffet.

Pros: In a beautiful grand restaurant. The selection was vast and the baked goods were excellent. We really loved the overall experience, even after 3 days it did not seem to get old.
Cons: Everything was exceptional, nothing comes to mind.

Cons: Nothing.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Cool interior, friendly staff, clean rooms and nice breakfast. Also the location is very good - it is in the city centre so you can just walk to see all sights
Cons: I was a bit surprised about quality of internet connection - it was very slow and constantly disconnecting. There was too dark in the room, but i think it is by design

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with great view, very close to Porto. The staf was really nice, Amazing breakfast and everything really clean, only can say.... 5 starts.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Not much. Except that they had parking. The public rooms are pretty and elegant, but that does not make up for the lack of comfort.
Cons: The mattress in my suite was old and completely worn out. I complained after the first night, and they put a mattress pad on top which made it a bit better. The breakfast the first morning was minimal, because at 7:00am there was no waitstaff yet. The coffee in the thermos was cold. For the price of this hotel I expected way better. Service was not great either. Very disappointed!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, rooms and sceneries - impeccable hotel. Really enjoyed it.
Cons: All good
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building, good facilities, pleasant staff
Cons: This property does not have "LEADING HOTEL" management. Poor planning. Had to wait for a turn in order to check in at 7 PM after a long road trip. Guests are forced to make reservations in order to have dinner and there is insufficient space for meals. Guests have to make reservations for everything. Transportation into city very deficient. Young attentive staff, but way untrained.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful stay at this lovely place. Felt like a queen in my castle. Service was impeccable. Restaurant was delicious and breakfast was fantastic. Quiet and very comfortable and the view is spectacular.
Cons: A little far from central Porto but a short taxi ride served us well. Perhaps they could offer a shuttle to town.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historic facility, first rate service, excellent restaurant and a short Uber ride downtown or a 30 minute walk. Beautiful grounds free parking . Highly recommended.

Fine Arts Guesthouse - Porto - Building
5
9,2 Excellent (888 reviews)
R1 179+
Overview Reviews
A stay at Fine Arts Guesthouse places you in the heart of Porto, within a 15-minute walk of Bolhao Market and Dom Luis I Bridge. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a nicely decorated guesthouse (almost like a hotel) full with, as you can guess, modern art. The interior and room are clean. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast is also good with choice of boiled eggs, bread, toast(er), various sweet cakes & sweet pastries, ham, cheese, cereal, yoghurts, etc. When we arrived and told we were visiting Porto for the first time the lady explained us on a map the most important areas. Staff speaks English. You can walk everything but using Uber or the cheaper Bolt app it is extremely easy to get anywhere. The city center is just 10 - 20 minutes walking away. If you have a rental car you can park for free in the next block (65 meters away)
Cons: The quality of the beds.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, excellent studio apartment lovely bathroom and comfy beds.
Cons: Happy with it all - no complaints whatsoever !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome, complimentary drink, very comfortable room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Easy come and go attitude, all of us had keys for access even though reception was available until 10 pm, 5 euros in a taxi to the centre and 30 from the airport, caters for adults or families all made welcome, brilliant.
Cons: Really lovely friendly people, made us all welcome in very comfortable surroundings, clean and tidy and the breakfast was free with a wide choice to choose from, we were on a early flight and food was put in our fridge as we would miss breakfast, Thank you all so much for our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean away from tourist part of town.Great breakfast . Helpful and very kind staff. We’d stay again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staffs, clean, good location, we were well looked after
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent and although we had to leave early they still prepared a breakfast for us and had it delivered to our room.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Simple, modern, stylish and well located. Out of the busy streets area. We had a small studio with a kitchenette and a couch, which is more than what we needed, but gave us extra comfort and space. The location is just a 5 to 6 minute walk from the "Campo 24 de Agosto" metro station. Walking distance (15 minutes) to the edge of the city centre, for people that like to walk. Small convenience stores and cafés just around the corner. Staff is very knowledgeable and gave us great tips on what and what not to do. Breakfast has a bit of both worlds with plenty of sweet and enough savoury: will make both Portuguese and International guests happy.
Cons: The sound dampening between rooms is not the best: we could easily hear people going up and down the stairs in the room next door. Unfortunately it is allowed to smoke outside the rooms, so you may get some cigarette smell in your studio if other guests are smoking outside in the shared patio (and your windows are open).

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, luxurious rooms, very clean. Excellent breakfast service and a wonderful buffet. Knowledgeable staff and very quick to help. An example is that I needed a key replacement and there was a long line of people checking in. I went to the Guest Relations Manager to ask, and first she said I had to wait in line, but then she herself came over to open a counter and get me my key fast. The location is not a problem, we took Uber and it cost 7 euro to get to the bridge.
Cons: Well if I must find something I didn't like, I'd say the view from our room was nothing much, but then we were out most of the day, and the Club Room view was very nice, it had a balcony.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked EVERYTHING!

Cons: Liked everything !
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was excellent with the ability to walk to everything in the historic areas easily. It was also on the river and had beautiful views. The breakfast was very expansive and very good.
Cons: The room was extremely small and we booked one of the larger rooms. It had a small balcony. The bathroom was updated but also small. The bathroom door was very close to the bed making it feel very cramped. The staff were not as responsive as expected and more than one phone call had to be made to get such items as an extra blanket and water.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and very helpful. room upgrade for view of river was worth it as a one time event as it was spectacular. breakfast was very good and all staff made us feel welcome. Location was spectacular and was nice to not have to drive in such tight quarters. Close to everything and some walking for shops and heritage sites was nice. Very peaceful and quiet which was what we were after in December. Thank you folks.
Cons: Everything was very good. Parking at sister hotel and taking a taxi to hotel was best option and most cost effective. Staff got us taxi at both locations and were excellent and friendly so no issue with that extra logistical piece.

Pros: Great hotel at a good location. Parking is right under the hotel. Very comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and very nice. Large bathroom and large balcony tho no view. I asked for some extra towels and got them right away. I did laundry too. It was expensive but at least done right. Breakfast is very good with a large variety. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The A/C however was weak and didn’t cool the room down. The only negative really, was the fact that you shower in a bath. Not a shower. Other than that it was very good.
Cons: I like a stand in shower. All their rooms are with a bath.

6,0 Good
Pros: The friendly staff
Cons: The parking was not accessible for large cars we had to park at the ibis we were not advised of this and it caused immense issues in peak hour traffic and a strom. The gps did not pick up the hotel. There is no mention of these difficulties. The rooms are dark. Packing space is very limited. If you would advise visitors on these difficulties particularly the parking it would be helpful. We cut our time short in Porto due to the unpleasant experience of finding the hotel and then parking

Cons: Ants in my room, mold in bathroom, shower sprayed everywhere bc no shower curtain
7,0 Good
Pros: Decent last-minute booking in Porto. Location was great for us, being so close to the train station was great.
Cons: The beds were a bit hard and I would have liked the ability to move them apart more than a few inches for more comfort and space. The breakfast was mediocre. The coffee machines were dirty and one of the toasters wasn't working. The selection of food was less than other places we stayed in Portugal and the fruit wasn't fresh.

Cons: Didn't have toothbrush kit not a body cream and only add one bottle of water in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The food and staff were wonderful.
Cons: There is NO reason that a high end spa and wellness center should have a smoking room in the middle of the lobby, bar, and restaurant. It was very unpleasant to step out of the elevator and be hit with smoke.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Pool with salted water
Cons: Disgusting breakfast! Very old hotel! In bathroom there is hairdryer like vacuum cleaner from 80’s!))) it’s really bad hotel which not worth those money takes! Tacky robes and towel. Pros: Staff very friendly.Breakfast very good.Evening meal hardly any choice so used the bar snacks.Needed a car as no places to eat or drink nearby. So had to walk about 15 minutes for coffee etc.Pooll lovely but if weather was bad nothing to do.Quite isolated.Dudnt cater for English even though English there. No tea or coffee in room.Pillows were awful .
Cons: Too far out of any facilities.Could have been more variety for restaurant.A bit
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great ocean view from most of the rooms that have a balcony. Very quiet and calm. Great place to relax thanks to well functioning amenities and services. Direct exit from the hotel to the ocean and beach promenade. Free spacious private parking in front of the hotel. Overall, you will get reasonably priced upper-class hotel. Perfect for relaxation after busy sightseeing day in Porto. Also worth spending a day inside without leaving hotel area.
Cons: If you don't have a car getting to the hotel and back to the Porto will be a problem. Food selection during the breakfast is rather limited, and was the same all days of our stay. Also, don't waste time on nearby village: construction works are ongoing throughout the town, most business are closed, only one descent coffee place and one good restaurant are available.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing. Free Daily shuttle to Porto. Restaurant was great
Cons: Whirlpool was not free. Breakfast was good but omelettes and alike where not included

Cons: Poor Wifi connection
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast had a good choice The location wasn't great
Cons: The fact my two sons and I had booked a family room with three beds only to be told on arrival we had mistakenly booked ii twice I took full blame for this error . As the hotel was only a third full I pleaded with the manager to override one of the payments, whereupon I was told under no circumstances was this going to happen Bitterly disappointed I wasn't even offered something as a gesture of good will. Unhelpful manager and staff . We will find a friendlier hotel next time.
7,0 Good
Cons: Parking tickets almost never worked and expensive the road almost always overloaded , so driving is not easy
9,7 Excellent
Cons: For people that don’t like to walk towards the downtown area, this hotel is a bit far for that (less than 2 miles). If you do love walking, it is great! It is located in a commercial area, so it is not out of the action completely.
6,0 Good
Pros: It is clean, the staff is friendly.
Cons: There is now gym. The food is terrible.

Pros: Giant room with awesome design! Dinners definitely worth 7euro. Everything was perfect!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Genius loci - great space, design, spacious & generally very well executed interior! Also staff is great, breakfast is good & you even get a welcome drink. Great location if you're aiming for the city center. Would definitely stay there again! ♥
Cons: It seems the bathroom capacity was not enough for the dorm (had to wait a lot to get there) - but might have been just bad luck with roommates that just take too long. :D
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable space. Friendly staff. Clean. Great location.
Cons: None.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: -The location and the view were amazing! -They offered a discount for guests to the winery experience (entrance fee)
Cons: -Is very important to tell your customers that the access to the hotel is not in the 1st floor. As an old and historical building in Porto, guests needs to take stairs to access your lobby. If you have a medical condition and you can not climb stairs (plus luggage) is not the most recommended place to stay. -Parking lot is near to the hotel, however the cost is $17 euros/day. -Is a hotel for young people and solo travelers. If you are paying for a room with view or suite, you need to know that you will be sharing the dining table with other people and the living room is always full with people playing cards, watching TV, etc. It was not bad, but you need to know it before.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and beautiful hostel, super nice and friendly staff. I loved everything and it was better than what I was expecting! I even had delicious vegan breakfast in the morning. I totally recommend this place and it's super well located! LOVED IT!
