The staff was perfect! Always nice and giving great tips of Vila Nova de Gaia and also Porto.

This is a gem for travelers to Porto - I write this after my second stay there. The location is great - you walk down the hill towards Porto and you are at the eiffel-bridge with the tram going over. El Corte Ingles is very close. The hotel itself is great - not fancy, but very clean, very comfortable, really helpful and genuine staff. I would recommend paying for the breakfast when you book the room, it is very good value, and better than I had at 'smart' hotels in Porto. Also one tip, if you are traveling by train get off at Gaia-Devasas which is closer and a small station and take a taxi, avoiding the mayhem at the main Porto stations. Also, the open top tour buses have a stop really close by, if that is interesting to you (its how we spotted the hotel in the first place).

Everything was ok. Hotel is close to the Metro station. Breakfast was ok. Nearby there are several restaurants and a Shopping Mall. We had dinner at CARPA restaurant which is a Portuguese restaurant and the food was very good and tasty. The service was also ok.
The price is a little bit high for this type hotel and location. It was not very easy to find a parking space on the nearby streets. Nothing to complain.

Slightly hard beds. Small lifts if you are claustrophobic, and can get noisy in individual corridors due to building design.

Rooms very neat with balconies and air conditioned. Very good service. Friendly and helpful owner keen on feedback. Breakfast here was a perfect start of our day. Clip Hotel is located 100 m from Metro station which will take You to the heart of the town within less than 15 minutes. No problems with parking around the hotel (public parking). Hotel offered parking places of its own which i had no chance to use. To sum it up - highly recommendable for all those with demands and at a reasonable price.
