Located in the fashionable Recoleta shopping and residential district on Avenida Alvear, surrounded by the finest stores, shopping centres and typical "cafes" where "Portenos" life takes place. Featuring beautiful gardens, the hotel offers a stunning array of sights and experiences along with the renowned Park Hyatt graciousness and service. Palacio Duhau-Park Hyatt, the jewel of the Park Hyatt crown.
Pros: Everting superb. They granted us a complimentary late checkout and let us use the facilities and the wifi before the room was ready and after the checkout. Great staff, marvellous place with a relaxed atmosphere and great breakfast
Cons: Moving from an end to the other with the suitcases can be challenging
Pros: the best hotel in Buenos Aires
Pros: Staff was always very attentive. The quality of the food was surprisingly good. Every night staff will prepare my room with waters and towels - excellent touch
Cons: Room was a bit outdated, but quick fixes would make the difference. Pillows had a bad smell but were changed quickly
Pros: The hotel is a beautiful combination of historic buildings and new ones which blend in. The staff are amazing and the rooms are very comfortable.
Cons: Recoleta is a bit boring so the location isn't my favorite one in Buenos Aires.
Cons: At a place of this calibre house keeping needs to make sure to provide enough water and to refill the mini bar
Pros: Excellent staff friendly and able to help you with anything you need
Alvear Palace Hotel-Leading Hotels of the World is centrally located in Buenos Aires, a 4-minute walk from Plaza Francia and 9 minutes by foot from Patio Bullrich. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and limo/town car service. Planning an event in Buenos Aires? This hotel has facilities measuring 5382 square feet (500 square meters), including a conference center. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a cruise ship terminal shuttle.
Pros: Classy, authentic, spacious and clean rooms/facilities. Very well trained, prompt yet kind personnel. Excellent atmosphere everywhere. Amazing, amazing, amazing authentic architecture and fine details all around. I’m sure when the personnel will recognize us, due to multiple stays, it will feel like home away from home.
Cons: A very much below expectation swimming pool and its indoors area around. Too small and the water is way too hot, and why is it opened so late in the morning and closed so early in the evening ? Also, too bad dinner is not served within the breakfast area. I was hoping to formally dine there ( we only had the grill as option and we didn’t chose it). It would also be nice to enjoy a piano/arp/ accordion player in the evenings while dining within the breakfast room or enjoying an after dinner cocktail at the bar.
Cons: NOTHING was excellent no complain
Pros: This hotel is very elegant, old-fashioned in the best possible meaning of the phrase. The staff are all very polite and very helpful. The public rooms are superb. Breakfast was amongst the best anywhere. The restaurant 'The Grill' is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The Maitre is charming, very well informed and very helpful. The rooms are extremely clean, well preserved and comfortable including the bed. The concierge service was very good. The bar is sophisticated and filled with well-dressed quiet people.
Pros: The location is awesome and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff at the rooftop bar is very accommodating and the rooms spacious and comfortable.
Cons: No coffee machine in the room.
Pros: "Grand" hotel style. Reeked of history and class. Golden key concierges who were brilliant Very comfortable large bed and top quality linens Excellent breakfast Great location. The van booked for the airport on departure of 3 of us (with copious luggage) was late so the concierges organised two cars from the hotel, no problem and my driver was older and fascinating with history of BA. Service today discrete - probably the same as 50 years ago - Substance without pretension!
Cons: We arrived from a cruise at 10.30hrs so room not ready - fair enough and expected but we should have been given an automatic reservation for lunch while we waited. Instead restaurant full but one of the concierges re-directed us to an excellent Italian restaurant nearby.
Located in Buenos Aires (Recoleta), Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires is within a 15-minute walk of Plaza San Martin and Torre de los Ingleses. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Buenos Aires? This hotel features 4478 square feet (416 square meters) of event facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: The chocolates, and complimentary wine and fruit were a beautiful touch. The personnel was very kind and professional.
Cons: The check-in personnel could have inquired about my check-out time and made proper arrangements to have my luggage carried down in the early morning hours.
Pros: the staff, the breakfast, the rooms, the concierge
Cons: didn't know that the pool was closing for maintenance and would be closed for 1 week. went to enjoy pool and wasn't not able.
Pros: Position, name and services Breakfast was acceptable.
Cons: Rooms too small, bathroom too small, business lounge at the 7th floor not properly handled, Elena restaurant with limited menu and poor quality. I am a regular client of the Four Season Hotels and my expectations were very high: this is an normal hotel.
Pros: Staff goes out of their way to accommodate and make you feel welcome. Rooms are a good size and well equipped. Very comfortable. High standard. It's one of the better 4 Seasons Hotels. I've stayed there many times now and would definitely go back.
Cons: No slippers in the room.
Pros: Very central and excellent staff from the front desk to housekeeping.
Pros: The manager
Cons: Blocked amount is not back yet since two weeks
Alvear Art Hotel is centrally located in Buenos Aires, a 5-minute walk from Florida Street and 9 minutes by foot from Teatro Colon. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in. Planning an event in Buenos Aires? This hotel features 2906 square feet (270 square meters) of event facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: We like to walk and go to local restaurants. This had it all. The hotel had plenty of luxury, and the staff was excellent. We had a late night flight out and they offered the pool area and spa to hang out during the day after we had checked out. They really couldn't have been nicer to the guests. Our tour provider (Lindblad National Geo) booked us at this hotel for a stay a month before and we decided to return there when we left the country. Excellent choice.
Cons: I don't think anything could have been better. Our first stay was in a higher price room (about 320 US $) and had a slight view. Our second stay was a standard room (200 US) but was a better room but no view. Don't pay the extra. The area doesn't have any views anyway, besides you will be eating late and getting up and out to tour early. Eat breakfast at a local corner restaurant and watch the people and the intersection traffic ballet!
Pros: This was my second stay at Alvear Art. I returned because I enjoyed my first time. I like the location: the area ranging from the Plaza de Mayo all the way up to Recoleta contains a lot that interests me. I enjoy sitting on a bench in Plaza San Martin and listening to the birds and the city while reading something thoughtful and contemplating life. It's nice too to have within walking range a number of nice restaurants. The hotel staff was glad to advise me and make suggestions. The servers in the hotel restaurant treated me like a friend. I believe I have found my place to stay in Buenos Aires.
Pros: elegance, classic but fresh
Pros: The restaurant was great as well as the breakfast.
Pros: The view from the room was spectacular. The room was big and well appointed and super clean. The bed was luxurious and comfy. The bathroom was big and had both tub and shower. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff could not have been more helpful, gracious and friendly. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night and taxis were easy to find when we wanted one.
Cons: Cannot think of anything.
Pros: Very clean, beautiful and great location!
Pros: It's well located to my local office and a quaintly unique boutique setting. It's small enough that the staff remembers you when you come and go and you are not lost in the crowd, which can tend to be the case at larger hotels.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would have liked to swim with the roof open since it was warm out and the roof was not retracted. It was summer time so I figured they would have opened it up. Not a big issue and it more than made up for it in every other way.
Pros: Bed extra comfy, nice rooftop pool! There is place to park easily while loading/unloading, which is difficult to find in Buenos Aires downtown.
Cons: I would like to have the option to park by myself instead of valet parking. But it was ok anyway!
9,2 Excellent (642 reviews)

Pros: Good location.
Cons: Tired rooms in need of remodeling. Overpriced for current condition.
Pros: Extremely helpful staff. Large room. Comfortable beds. Wonderful breakfast. Convenient location.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The hotel entrance location might confuse Uber drivers
Pros: Location. Staff. Rate.
Cons: Maintenance items: leaking faucet, shower drain overflowed to drain in for outside shower, one phone did not function, hold cap on sink faucet came off. Wash cloths not left by maid both days.
Pros: Location, boutique style environment, very quiet, breakfast, wait staff, large room, great bathroom, comfy beds. Breakfast was amazing and the wait staff was amazing. They fixed us little to-go container of cookies as a treat. Very attentive. I travel often and I wish all hotels were like this.
Cons: Can't find one thing I didn't like!
Pros: Cleanliness was excellent. Staff very obliging and friendly. Facilities excellent
Cons: Breakfast buffet was a little cold
Located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Hilton Buenos Aires is within a 10-minute walk of Women's Bridge and Presidente Sarmiento Frigate Ship Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Buenos Aires? This hotel has facilities measuring 65 square feet (6 square meters), including a conference center. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Room was good, shop in hotel lobby was good Concierge excellent Shop staff, luggage attendants were good also they were the only decent staff in the place
Cons: Reception staff were rude and arrogant Not enough umbrellas at the pool and really unhelpful pool attendant I think the staff need to remember that not all people staying there are there for a business conference or staying as a stop over before they board a cruise ship
Pros: Very good localization.
Cons: 10-year-old hotel showing it’s age I’ve stayed there several times before but is definitely looking dirty things not working staff not interested in helping
Pros: Perfect location with great views . Breakfast was very good .
Cons: Unfriendly receptionist. She tried to place us and our children in the rooms on different floors. We had to ask another person on reception to change our room to be closer to our children. The swimming pool is small and was overcrouded in afternoon. The snacks in executive lounge were available only limited time and it was not big choice of food.
Pros: Safe location, lots of nearby restaurants
Cons: My child was injured in the loose stones of the pool. One of the waiters deeply offended me thinking I would leave without paying my drink when I went to the entrance to smoke. the consierge gave mismatched information. We missed a ride because of it. On the night of the New Year's Eve, the hostess of the hotel restaurant reported that dinner would cost a thousand pesos per adult and five hundred per child. When the bill came the price was eight thousand pesos per adult e four thousand per child.
Pros: Great comfort with special playing room for kids near park and restaurants.
Cons: A bit pricy
Cons: It is far to expensive as the rooms are in bad shape; there’s no mini bar which is simply not acceptable. Not to mention super unkind staff who refused to serve drinks on New Year at 00:01 hrs claiming that the bar was closed(
The Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta hotel offers a luxury experience with the French art de vivre in the heart of Recoleta. Located close to the city's main tourist attractions, it boasts modern, spacious rooms and a restaurant, bar, patisserie, wine cellar, heated swimming pool, fitness center, function rooms and a garden. The hotel is located opposite the Patio Bullrich shopping mall and just a block away from the prestigious Avenida Alvear and its international luxury stores.
Pros: The staff were excellent and it's a great location for shops, restaurants and sightseeing.
Cons: The pool is a bit limited.
Pros: Great location. Classy. Great food and staff.
Cons: It’s getting old. Renovation is a must for all rooms.
Pros: Great place, people. Walking distance to a lot of things. Walk to restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Liked everything.
Pros: I like the location of this hotel. Regardless of the issues, I think the Sofitel handled us with care, they know how to cater to foreigners who seem out of places in Argentina, and their hospitality even for a major hotel like this seemed personalized.
Cons: The Sofitel was an interesting hotel, as the reviews were a mixed bag which made it hard to get a good gauge of what the hotel was really like. My stay there started out with room issues when my AC stopped working, unfortunately, we discovered this around the time we went to bed. We were moved to another room, where the shower door was broken and didn’t close. One can guess that by the second room we weren’t too happy with the hotel, despite this I think the staff did an excellent job of accommodating us and trying to help us have the best and comfortable experience possible. I was in Argentina for about 15 days and by the time I checked into the Buenos Aires Sofitel, I had stayed in 2 different hotels in Argentina. While there were maintenance issues in the rooms, I felt the most welcomed at the Sofitel than at the other hotel I stayed at in Buenos Aires. Regardless of the issues, I think the Sofitel handled us with care, they know how to cater to foreigners who seem out of places in Argentina, and their hospitality even for a major hotel like this seemed personalized.
Pros: Its a beautiful front desk and location;
Cons: The room isn’t clean properly and somebody from the staff into my last night drop my macbook pro while are cleaning the room, I’ve just tale some photos, but just realize that now, when i’ve used him at the plane and he has scars and didnt turn on well, stay reeboting...
Pros: The hall is very nice and the common area. Room comfortable Very kind staff at check in a special thanks to Gianluca extremely kind in the room explain
Cons: The pool is only covered and is small, tv in the room is too small and without latest utilities
Pros: Location is wonderful!!!
Cons: It’s not the Sofitel Arroyo we used to go so many times!! Now it’s a 3 Stars, no more. The bathroom door doesn’t close, many small details that made it a cheap place. We were disappointed of course!!
A stay at Faena Hotel Buenos Aires places you in the heart of Buenos Aires, within a 5-minute drive of Women's Bridge and Casa Rosada. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Planning an event in Buenos Aires? This hotel has facilities measuring 3617 square feet (336 square meters), including conference space. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: The service
Cons: The suite we had the downstairs living area felt a little bland
Pros: Their customer service is 2nd to none!!!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect!!!
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent restaurant and nothing too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Library bar a great place to while away a few hours on the way to the airport.
Cons: Poor food and service
Pros: This hotel for me represents a new and modern Buenos Aires which is fast changing its image from the run down and dirty city it was a few years ago. The Faena Hotel is beautifully decorated and an inspiration, and the location of Puerto Madeiro is fast becoming a new cultural centre on BA.
With a stay at Scala Hotel Buenos Aires, you'll be centrally located in Buenos Aires, within a 5-minute drive of Plaza de Mayo and Obelisco. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: It cannot be beat for the price, especially the price I got through Kayak. Love the staff, Luis at desk could not be more helpful. Location is amazing if you like an arty part of town, but also near main historical attractions. I love it there and will go back.
Cons: Wooden floor in room was slightly grungy, but not really horrible. Everything else was very clean. They ask for suggestions. The lobby is spacious and beautiful
Pros: Everything was modern, super clean and quiet. And we never saw any screaming kids or damn dogs in the hotel.
Pros: Breakfast They allowed us to take food for my son who was sleeping in the morning Location
Cons: Very noisy cleaning staff. They work with radio devices which are always on maximum volume. The cleaning ladies talk loudly in the morning in front of the doors even on 01 January. They slide the heavy furniture on the floor making unsupportable noise. We stayed for 5 days and we couldn’t sleep enough because of this. Pity because the hotel has a good location and spacious rooms.
Pros: It has been a while, I´ve stayed here numerous times before and this was a very last minute booking. Enjoyed my short stay as always, everything tip-top in order. Rooms big as always, breakfast to die for (especially if you like sweets), all in all a perfect stay.
Cons: Too bad I can´t stay longer!
Pros: We had a great time me, my family and mi friends. We enjoyed the hotel , the amenities and the neighborhood.
Pros: Absolutely like this hotel, employees are great. Food is good, the room is great.
Exhibiting contemporary and urban comfort, Hotel Madero lies on the east side of Puerto Madero, the hub of the most modern architectural styles of Buenos Aires. With 197 spacious and innovative rooms, including 27 suites and studios for long stays. On the top floor you will enjoy the Madero Spa, which includes heated swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, massage rooms and solarium. The awarded restaurant Red Resto & Lounge is a unique spot in Buenos Aires, featuring a terrace and an exclusive private cellar with over 600 bottles from the most prestigious Argentine wineries.
Pros: The hotel is located in the area of Madero in Buenos Aries and is within walking distance to great dining, shopping and sight seeing. The hotel is well kept, our room very spacious and with the exception of housekeeping nearly everyone speaks English. The indoor pool on the 9th floor has great outdoor space and a bar to Jace cocktails. All around awesome hotel.
Cons: The charge you for the Nespresso after your one pod. Craziest thing I ever heard.
Pros: Location, brand new
Cons: Wifi, some staffing
Pros: Staff is extremely helpful and friendly - from check-in to tourist information Great location in beautiful and safe madero Very nice rooms, comfortable beds We have decided to come back again as we liked the hotel
Cons: Upscale hotel with upscale prices, overall fair but certainly on more expensive side
Pros: The staff at reception and the concierge were amazing! Very helpful with questions or things that needed to be organized. While on one hand the location was good for restaurants or strolling along the water because this is a newly developed area, the adjacent "barrios"/neighbourhoods on the other hand, weren't too good.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Pros: - location - room size
Cons: - ordered some food in the room, had to send back steaks. Not good. - sent some laundry and they messed up two white shirts which turned blue. For a 4 or 5 star hotel this is unacceptable - service is fairly slow
Pros: Excellently located and impeccable facilities
Cons: Seating of restaurant and bar areas are too low. Difficult to get in and out of.
A stay at Tango de Mayo Hotel places you in the heart of Buenos Aires, within a 5-minute drive of Palace of the Argentine National Congress and Obelisco. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Lovely hotel with lovely rooms. The roof top area is lovely, it’s a shame that the bar wasn’t operating up there but you can take drinks from the downstairs bar. Would highly recommend.
Pros: Lots of options for breakfast. Excellent South American coffee and fresh fruit. Beautiful buffet. The location is right in the middle of town and close to everything. We accidentally dropped a global-entry card in the room and when we got home had an email from the hotel offering to send it to us. Exceptional service. Fun rug on the floor with footsteps for the tango!
Cons: We were completely satisfied.
Pros: Good location for exploring city. We used the roof-top deck every day. Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. The decor was lovely, colorful and integrated the tango theme throughout. Highly recommend.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
Pros: The Tango theme throughout hotel, spacious colourful rooms, rooftop bar, breakfasts and central location.
Cons: Would have liked a hairdryer in my room.
Pros: Front desk were very helpful and nice, especially the lady in the morning who helped call us a cab to the airport. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was good. Scrambled eggs were nicely cooked and the breads were delicious. We got a late checkout at 5PM for an additional fee which was convenient since our flights weren't until late night.
Cons: The traffic noise was very loud in the rooms but I guess that's how cities are, it was only a 1 night stopover for us going home from Antarctica. The onsite restaurant for dinner was not very good, food was bland, steak came unseasoned and undercooked. It should've come with a sauce (per menu) but it didn't. My dads milanesa was dry like cardboard.
This Buenos Aires Hotel represents the sophisticated and classic style of this historical city. Enjoy your holidays with the beautifully designed suites, indoor pool and onsite spa. Conveniently located near major cultural attractions such as museums, theatres, traditional coffee shops and famous neighborhoods such as San Telmo and Florida Avenue, this luxurious hotel will let you experience the authentic Argentina.
Pros: Staff are so friendly. So near to Plaza de Mayo and Cafe Tortoni. Must try best steak in La Brigada near to hotel.
Pros: Great breakfast and Club Level services.
Pros: I have been staying here intermittently over a 25 year period - I like the location, room size and amenities. Special mention to maitre d' in ground floor cafe; place was very busy (evening dinner), staff working hard, some delay with service acknowledged by m d, I was not annoyed however as I could see the effort that he and his staff were making.
Cons: The hotel is showing its age - plumbing in the bathroom was faulty, tiles coming away from wall, brown (rust) stains evident. Towels long past their disposal due date. The owners need to invest in their property if they want to compete at this level.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room. All the staff are very friendly and courteous. Great location to everywhere I needed to get to.
Cons: Breakfast was good, but could be improved. No availability to order poached or fried eggs or even an omelette.
Pros: Staff were just wonderful, no questions were left unanswered and help always given freely. Special commendations for the concierge team who were absolutely brilliant at providing guidance and advice on our future travel and arranging transport for when we return in November.
Cons: Pillows were a bit thick and hard.

Moreover, we pride ourselves in providing for premium healthy and hearty dining options, a true culinary journey within the hotel. Let your mind travel at our hotel in Buenos Aires.
Pros: The bedroom was lovely, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The views over BA were superb from the top floor. The staff in the celtic bar and concierges were excellent. Location is superb and very good value for money.
Cons: Had quite a few issues with TV controls, not very easy to use. We didn't have any slippers or gowns, think this would be beneficial for other guests with the pool facilities. Also the breakfast lay out we think could have been a bit better.
Pros: The pool & buffet breakfast were amazing! It was a chilly day in Buenos Aires so the indoor heated pool was very nice and I definitely put that to use. It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.
Cons: For a nice hotel like this one, they did not have hair dryers or converters. I would have been happy to pay for a converter if they offered one so it was a little annoying and a bit of a hassle to go out searching for one. I wasted about 45min of my time but eventually found one at a local market shop for very cheap.
Pros: The mattress in our room could be replaced. It was like sleeping on a rolling slope of hills, basically it was lumpy. The breakfast was great the first day, however by the 5th day I was craving something else! Good selection of food, the scrambled eggs were runny. It's free so these are minor complaints. The hotel is right near the "obelisk." It's centrally located which makes it ideal. Quick cab rides to all the barrios.
Pros: Great location. Very friendly staff, especially Thaigo at the front desk . Great being able to wait in the spa area and relax whilst waiting for the room to be ready.
Cons: Need more power outlets, preferably with some international and / or USB connections. Breakfast was average and quite crowded.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, especially the staff on the ground floor - doormen, bellmen, front desk Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Cleanliness once off the ground floor was average at best - stains on the walls around the toilet. Wet water marks along the base of the walls in the guest room hallways. We had hoped to let the kids burn off some energy at the pool, but didn't see that the pool is only available for those over 13. We had four in our room, however only two towels. we called for two more, but they never came - the door into the service area had been left open by one of the staff, so we found two extras ourselves sitting in the storage.
Pros: The location is amazing.
Cons: The buffet breakfast was below average for a 5 star hotel. The swimming pool is also very average.
Pros: Great location, good restaurants both the hotels own and also Tomo1. Beautiful view. Clean and Nice rooms. Smiling and helpful personel. Best recommendations from here.
Pros: The bed was excellent
Pros: Staff were amazing! They looked after my luggage while I explored other parts of South America on my trip and when I arrived back, for my last night, upgraded my room to a suite!! So happy and very appreciative. Especially great service from Alejandro who is part of the concierge team
Cons: I wish the breakfast had more choice in there hot food for vegetarians
Pros: Best points: Fantastic Location, excellent fitness center and pool, very excellent service and friendly staff, great value overall Negatives: The bed was ready to be replaced, runny eggs at the buffet, room safe not working well

Pros: The value per dollar
Cons: Some lower floors did not look as maintained as higher floors
Pros: Staff are good
Cons: Water in shower is brown
Pros: location, the people were friendly and we were able to find tours and places to go.
Cons: Price was a little high
Pros: Very helpful pleasant staff. The breakfast which was included with my room rate was very good. The gym, pool and sauna facilities are also particularly good. The hotel is in a great location close to good shopping and tourist centre. Because of these features I have chosen to stay in this hotel a number of times.
Cons: The rooms are looking very tired, particularity the carpet and furniture. The lounge chair material was worn and tattered; the table top was chipped; and the bath tub surface was showing gray signs of wear. This was not an isolated case as I have had a similar experience on previous stays at this hotel. I find this aspect annoying particularly given what the hotel charges for their rooms and the 4 star rating they claim to be.
Cons: Terrible experience. Never expected such level of service and old, dirty, humid rooms from Sheraton. Basically, a scam.
Pros: Hostess are helpful
Cons: Claim a 5 star hotel it's a joke. I would not say that is a disaster but price does not worth the old facilities from the 70's. Standard room is not update, old toilets and broken furnisher. Hello? This is not what I would expect on a Sheraton but not even on a 5 star hotel. The area is not the best in the city. I truly recommend you any boutique hotel brand new in Palermo and half price. This probably was one of the best hotels in BA but not any more.
A stay at Loi Suites Recoleta Hotel places you in the heart of Buenos Aires, a 1-minute drive from Recoleta Mall and 9 minutes from Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Planning an event in Buenos Aires? This hotel features 118 square feet (11 square meters) of event facilities. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Local access to area. Attentive staff. Quiet and relatively safe.
Pros: Huge rooms, excellent location while very quiet (no noisy bars in the street), you can walk to many attractions and explore the city. The staff is fantastically professional and helpful, and the winter garden took my breath away :)
Pros: Spotless clean, with attentive and flexible service. Breakfast in wonderful location, great variety of food and drinks. Gym sufficient if you want some workout. Very well positioned in Recoleta, walking distance from Palermo.
Cons: Too noisy staff , doinf some construction work anytime qnd no respect to ( do not disturb sign)
Pros: Location Lobby
Cons: Key System is just plain NOT WORKING Service Staff are not accomodating Room X04 are noisy in the morning as they are ajoining to a SCHOOL
Pros: We stayed 3 different times in three rooms. First room had two queen beds but strong smelling carpet. Second room had two single beds and tile floor. Third room had two queens and tile floor (504) and this was the best room.
Cons: I strongly preferred the two queen beds over two singles. The water pressure was great, but the tub took over an hour to drain... and yes, I did ask for it to be fixed multiple times.
Pros: My stay at Loi Suites, Recoleta hotel was an absolute delight on both occasions- December 12 and january 1. Both times I had a bright, clean, well-appointed room. Comfortable seating and ample desk space and a comfortable bed. Late on December 12 night, I turned off the AC and opened the window on the ninth floor overlooking a bustling, shopping city preparing for the Christmas holidays. The symphony of car horns, people laughing, sirens in the distance and the swell of air conditioning units lulled me to sleep to dream of the happy, busy environs. The people behind the desk could not have been more polite and accommodating. I had arrived early but my room was available and I was escorted there my a helpful young man toting my very heavy bag. I had a n opportunity to walk around this lovely area of Buenos Aries- my first visit to this delightful city. The breakfast room and lobby very bright and inviting . I spent most of my second visit reading in the spacious lobby while waiting for a taxi to take me to the airport and home. My fond memories of Buenos Aires are enveloped in my stay at Loi Suites. Thank you so much for such a memorable visit to you city. Peggie O' Neill (Margaret P' O'Neill

Pros: Excellent location friendly staff and very helpful
Pros: It was Beautiful . The Breakfast was Great! Staff Very helpful
Pros: The rooms are clean , comfortable and beds amazing ! The higher floors facing away from the roads are better, blackout blinds a blessing in summer. The night male staff at the reception ( from 29th night to 31st night ) was exemplary.
Cons: Not fault of property but the room we were I totally checked into was extremely noisy due to neighbouring guests . But this was resolved promptly by the male staff at reception by allocating us a higher floor room which was superior. Be aware of the spa as the massages are not of the best quality ( just a rub down with oil compared to a proper sports massage ) , also the lady booking at the spa did not speak English and booked us incorrectly which we ended up paying for as it was too much hassle. The aircon would make a weird sound which was disconcerting.
Pros: Excellent front office staff
Cons: Shower stall needs refurbishing. Grouts in tiles are stained.

In its last level it offers an impressive exclusive VIP lounge framed by the majestic presence of the historical dome completely restored to offer an incredible view of the city.
Pros: Charming, good history and reputation, great services.
Pros: The hotel was very beautiful, like stepping back in time with its magnificent exterior. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was massive, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The water pressure for the shower was fantastic and the towels were super soft (really luxurious) The hotel and rooms were kept very clean. Once we got the wifi working (with assistance from the front desk) it was really good and the fastest we had during our trip. The hotel is in a really good location right near the centre of BA with plenty of transport links and taxis right near the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat near by. We loved the lifts with big huge pictures of Eva Perón and Albert Einstein inside. It was really interesting walking up and down the magnificent staircase looking at all the different floors each with their own design and seeing the pictures of all the famous people who have stayed at the hotel over time.
Cons: The drain in the bathroom had a really bad smell. Although the maid tried to mask the smell each day with air freshener it didn’t work. The hotel really need to sort this out. The breakfast was poor, for the price we paid we would have expected a lot more choice and more freshly cooked food. The coffee was awful, watered down with no flavour at all and as there was no kettle in the room to make our own we were stuck with drinking the poor quality coffee.
Pros: The staff was great, very helpful. They let us leave our luggage before and after our stay and that really helped.
Pros: Hotel is cute and very boutique.
Cons: Reservation although booked and confirmed staff couldn't find
Pros: Everything! Staff was fantastic, clean, well maintained, great location, great breakfast, etc.
Cons: Can’t think of anything
Cons: This applies only to 'standard rooms', but still strange for a 4 star hotel
Pros: Stunningly beautiful hotel, a piece of history. Both Evita Peron and Albert Einstein stayed here. Our room was great. It had very high ceilings and modern furnishings and a little balcony. The bathroom tiles were marble and the countertops were granite. It was very upscale. I was a little hesitant to book because I had read reviews about the lack of Internet in the room, but that proved to be wrong. For 60 pesos (about 5-6 dollars), we had great Internet service in the room. We didn't have a transformer, and they provided one for us. When we checked out, the bellboy negotiated a great fare for our taxi ride back to the airport. A very upscale hotel, truly beautiful, a great buy for the money. The staff was wonderful and very courteous and helpful. I was very pleased with my stay here and will stay here again when I visit Buenos Aires in the future. The location was great: very central with easy access to the subways, many bus lines and steps to the Parliament Building.
Cons: Horrible breakfast. Truly horrible! Don't bother buying the breakfast package.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. Very clean. The personal were so kind, helpful and friendly!

Pros: An upgrade to a suite by mr Juan at our arrival was a surprise.... Juan is very helpful regarding anything you require and all staff are superb. We got a late checkout until 230pm by Valentina And she is great person. Would highly recommend this hotel. I stayed in this hotel 2 times in one month. All around in walking distance. Many restaurants, bus stop, garden, and main Avenue surrounded.... love it....
Pros: It’s in a quiet area. Relatively comfortable rooms.
Cons: The pillows are not ideal. Staff attitude could be improved.
Pros: Modern hotel with a rooftop swimming pool, the room was big, confortable and very quiet. Very good breakfast as well.
Cons: All good.
Pros: The staff was really nice, the room was very spacious, the hotel well located in Palermo very easy to get around the city. Also the breakfast was very good.
Cons: The pool was not often accessible in the morning and in the evening to chill before and after our visits.
Located in Buenos Aires (San Telmo), Mansión Vitraux Boutique Hotel is within a 10-minute drive of Presidente Sarmiento Frigate Ship Museum and Plaza de Mayo. Featured amenities include express check-out, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great location and very helpful staff
Pros: A really quirky and characterful hotel at the very centre of San Telmo - full of thoughtful touches and with a fun roof terrace and pool. Service was excellent, every detail was considered and our room was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast is also excellent with plenty of choice, and again great service.
Pros: The breakfast was nice and the staff were very friendly. The location was amazing - a perfect pit stop but wouldn't stay there for a long time.
Cons: It's a surreal place with little natural light.
Pros: The place was great! Fabiana, Jorge, and Juan were very helpful! The heat works well, and the beds were clean and very comfortable!!!
Pros: Everything was great. Comfortable rooms. Good beds. Great breakfast
Pros: Located in the lovely San Telmo quarter, the location was excelent. The breakfast was also great.
Cons: Mold. This is, in my point of view, an inexcusable problem in a hotel like this. Everything else can be great, but if one can smell and see mold (a picture of the exhaust fan in the bathroom shows it all), the stay is a disaster. That's really a pity. A better care with cleaning and ventilation, and the problem would not exist and the hotel could be really good.
Pros: The staff was really outstanding at the reception area .Juan and Javier was more than helpful as well as Fabiana at breakfast area. They are nice and very helpful. The breakfast was very delicious and very generous as well.
Cons: The room was dark and has no ventilation .The sink was tinny and no place to put the make-up .
Pros: Great location just round corner from lovely square where there’s live tango dancing. really comfy rooms. Staff incredibly helpful with any question or request. Helped me with restaurants, get my phone fixed and organise tours
Cons: There’s not a lot of natural light in rooms as mostly internal but didn’t really bother me as just looking for somewhere nice to sleep
The 5-star NH Buenos Aires City is in the center of historic Buenos Aires and close to the Puerto Madero waterfront. Its 1930s art deco façade fits in beautifully with its surroundings, with the Plaza de Mayo, Cabildo and Casa Rosada all nearby. There are plenty of other cultural attractions just a short walk away too, like the Museo Histórico Nacional and Catedral Metropolitana. Head for the shopping along Florida Street or walk on just a little further to the pretty cobbled streets of San Telmo. Just outside the NH Buenos Aires City you will find public transport to take you to all corners of the city. Take your pick from one of our 369 rooms, presented in modern décor or traditional style. Our 24-hour gym is free to use and after a workout you can enjoy a cool dip in our stylish rooftop pool during the summer months. The NH Buenos Aires City restaurant offers an innovative menu of international and Spanish cuisine, and The Lobby bar is open 24 hours a day. Our function and meeting rooms hold up to 500 people. And there’s scope for a beautiful wedding in a modern space filled with natural light with up to 350 guests.
Pros: Location and staff
Pros: Excellent service and modern facilities. Great value for money and the rooftop pool had fantastic views. In particular the concierge Luis was super helpful in making us last minute dinner bookings on New Year’s Eve and all staff were lovely to deal with.
Pros: The new tower is quiet and modern. The lobby of he old tower is bigger and more luxurious but my understanding is the rooms are older although I never saw them.
Cons: They seemed to have certain websites blocked since Internet was working fine but some sites would not work in the hotel. Very strange.
Pros: Location Friendly staff
Cons: No coffee in the room Old furniture in the room
Pros: Good location, comfortable and clean.
Pros: Great location and fairly priced..
Pros: It is very clean, comfortable, and the location is great.
Cons: The only staff that speaks English is the front desk, so if you want room service, laundry, or anything fixed by maintenance, you have to call the front desk and hope they aren't busy.
Cons: All was quite good
Pros: - Exceptionally friendly staff: I’ve stayed at numerous five star hotels during my South America trip but the staff at NH City Buenos Aires were by far the friendliest and most accomodating. It was very pleasant to deal with them. - Great breakfast options: The breakfast also was the best compared to the other hotels with a huge variety of pastries and savoury options as well as fresh veggies and lots of fruit. They also have soy milk and make barista coffee. - Location: The hotel is situated in the heart of the Mivrocentro one minute walk from Place de Mayo and the other attractions.
Cons: The only minor detail I can think of is that the pool is only open from 10am to 7pm. It has stunning views though over the city and it’s nice to have a drink up there. Unfortunately not all NH Hotels are as great as this one.
