Cute and charming oasis in the heart of Palermo Soho. Super yummy breakfast and nice staff.
Clean, good breakfast, close to restaurants & bars, good WIFI connection in the room
The front desk staff that welcomed me when I got there (It was a guy, sorry, I didn’t write down your name!) offered one of the best services I have ever experienced in a hotel, and I have traveled all around the world. Kind, helpful but not pushy, accommodating, funny but not inappropriate. Exceptional. All staff was also very helpful and kind during my stay - from front desk to cleaning crew and breakfast crew. The staff training person really has it down :) The hotel has printed out tips for restaurants and attractions, which is super handy. The interior is lovely - ask for a room overlooking the pool. Breakfast was varied, very good quality and not rushed. Excellent compared to normal fare in Buenos Aires. Great shower, very clean, comfy bed - maybe a bit on the soft side. Location is great for a tourist, smack down in Palermo Soho, but not so much for a business traveler. Would definitely stay again.
I guess the only thing you should be aware is that upon arriving the room will smell strongly of perfume because the decorative pillows are sprayed with it. Some might find it welcoming, for others who have allergies like myself it’s not good at all, but it is easily fixed. Front desk had the pillows out of my room minutes after I asked. The scent lasted for a couple of hours after I opened the windows/doors and gave me a bit of a headache. So maybe if you have allergy issues you can write them ahead and ask for removal before you get there, the only downside being the room won’t be as pretty. I’d suggest for the hotel to have a few decorative pillows that are not submersed in perfume for these situations.
The mine hotel is situated in a beautiful area of Buenos Aires. Lots of little shops and eateries around. Important since the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner. Breakfast ok. The rooms are very good. The staff of the hotel is extremely kind and helpful. The proficiency of the English language is high. The manager mrs Maria del Mar Senn is a true professional!
Bathroom needs updating. I have been able to discuss a few issues and they acknowledged our observations.
