10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Loved being next to the Centrale train station. Easy in and out. Metro right there. The breakfast was outstanding. Make your own juices, omelette station and great salmon made the breakfast fabulous along with great service.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like the location which is just beside the Milano Centrale as we travelled a lot using trains in Italy. The food during breakfast. Finally as a Muslim i can eat a proper breakfast and not just bread and cornflakes. The staffs are really friendly, helpful and informative too! They are willing to help us in any way and some can also speak a little bit of Bahasa Malaysia too! They have gratis services from the hotel to Duomo as well, and if you are lucky, you could ride a FREE Maserati car to Duomo.
Cons: Nothing at all!

Pros: Loved everything!!
Cons: No

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent ! Staff were very cordial and helping. Quality of the property was wonderful Bed was very nice and room was spacious Compliment trip for city trip was a good service.
Cons: 1) The concierge was supposed to arrange pick up my baggage at train station as agreed before , due to my short lay over for next connecting train for Venice on 17/10. This was not done . I had to drop my baggage personally and had to miss my connecting train. Could have done better job. 2) One of the chauffeurs who dropped us the Victoria Emmanuel with the Maseratti was little rough . Unexpected from the chauffeur to behave with the guest.

Pros: Staff was so attentive. As it was my birthday, I got an upgrade!

Pros: Location was great if you need to be near the central train station...just an easy two block walk away. Also, easy access to the Metro which takes you downtown for only 1 1/2 Euro. Rooms were small but neat and clean
Cons: tiny elevator and tiny shower, (although these seemed to be somewhat common in many hotels in Italy). Also, room was on the small side.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful! They helped us figure out how to spend our one night in Milan and get us where we needed to be the next day. We were there for the convenience of being near the train station. It fit our needs perfectly!

Cons: NA
9,3 Excellent
Pros: A great true five star hotel. Excellent and knowledgeable concierge. Location is outside of the Montepoleone shopping district so a nice oasis to come home to at pIazza Republica. Great part was frequent Benz stretch limo pickup and drop off from the hotel to La Scala/ Duomo and Montepoleone area -- that was extreme helpful with kids. Had an upgrade which was appreciated and not asked for. Breakfast were absolutely excellent and included in our price. Champagne, full hot foods and fresh fruits and pastries. Will definitely be back!!
Cons: My only minor tif was pool was closed for renos. Minor and everything was to our or beyond our expectations.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Shuttle service to shopping area (very convenient when carrying a lot of bags) close to train station, delicious breakfast
Cons: Spa at hotel is overpriced and has mediocre spa service, otherwise hotel is fantastic!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Opulent hotel, nice respite
Cons: Pricey
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel and the stay.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like
3,6 Mediocre
Pros: Room decor
Cons: Breakfast prices were ridiculously high and quality was horrible. They also rip you off. We dined a la carte for breakfast the first day but were charged for the super high priced buffet. The good itself was horrible. Second morning all we had was juice , crossaint and coffee and were once again ripped off. This hotel is a rip off. Only good for business people billing their companies. Hotel was not even able to correct our charges during check out leaving us a bet other taste of being ripped off.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great Hotel, great staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service, incredibly thoughtful staff, and beautiful surroundings are expected at this hotel. 5 star service, 5 star price. Make sure you work out a way to include breakfast, as it is expensive, but divine. Be wary about the high valet prices. Overall, you pay for what you get and this property does not disappoint.
Cons: High valet prices.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: I expressed a preference for a room with a balcony and the staff kindly helped me get one, although they were not prepared for that.
Cons: fake books in the 'atrio interrato' and fake plants on the bar tables. I think that's not appropriate for a five-star hotel in Milan city centre.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, staff were extremely polite and helpful
Cons: Breakfast was a little chaotic, more staff needed at busier times.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is like a fairytale. I could not have imagined a better hotel to surprise my 9-year old daughter, she loved it! Candy in the reception, a room for a princess and the most beutiful spa I have ever seen.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Exceedingly beautiful with an old-world feel. Tall ceilings, sumptuously decorated in period style. The breakfast wasn't particularly 5-start, but I don't eat that much, so I'm not the best judge.
Cons: A relatively quiet location in Milan. Not the best choice if you want to be in the middle of all the action. Very good choice for honeymooners, couples, and maybe small families.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel wonderfully located just outside the Duimo/shopping madness.
Cons: It’s expensive but worth it for a short stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff and decor and comfort of the room and overall look and feel is great
Cons: Bigger gym with more equipment would be preferable
10,0 Excellent

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, clean rooms and new bath, with comfortable bed and fine sheets. The decor is a nice balance of traditional and contemporary. I would stay there again.
Cons: Hotel staff were friendly but did not meet the Relais & Chateaux standard. There is need of much more training. The restaurant is good with friendly staff, by not exceptional. Perhaps with time.

Cons: None
7,1 Good
Pros: Breakfast very nice- Hotel Location excellent- Room modern and very good
Cons: Bar prices , Food menu, Rude disinterested staff, Lack of atmosphere I sent my wife and daughter over for a shopping trip. They wanted to stay in the Hotel for food and drink First night they visited the bar and quite frankly were totally underwhelmend. Bar itself was very nice and modern but there was no atmosphere whatsover- the staff disinterested and rude- the drinks were overpriced- 25 euro for a tiny glass of wine - 110 for the cheapest bottle and 14 euro for a bottle of beer. No wonder the bar was empty. A group of 8 young people walked in- saw the price menu and complained and just walked out. My wife and daughter just went to bed and had room service. Next night they just went out locally and stayed well away from hotel services - which was not the plan. We stay in Mandarin Oriental in London, Ritz Carlton in NY, Kempinski in Spain and the Armani does not live up to expectations.

Pros: First of all, hotel building is very nice. For people who loves architecture will be very interesting! In this area are many nice restaurants special for locals, with very authentic food. Reception is big, a small garden inside the hotel. Nice! Hostess are welcoming! Angela from restaurant was very kind and warming:) breakfast is delicious. In room coffee, water for free. Nice!
Cons: House keeping must read cards in front of the door before disturbing guests! 7:00 at the morning knocking to the door with “do not disturb” sign was bad idea... just for mineral water... be ready: during Sunday evening housekeeping not available. So, I can say this is a 5 star. I think in 5 star hotel must be more personal touch for guests, like a letter from GM, some flowers in reception, welcome drink etc.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome room layout and decoration
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very attentive and friendly. Lovely welcome.
Cons: Room felt basic for costs paid.

A stay at Hotel Berna places you in the heart of Milan, within a 5-minute drive of Corso Buenos Aires and Piazza Gae Aulenti. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good location in safe area with easy to access paved main street, quite close to the main train station and the metro station. Room wasn't so big, but well-lit, quiet, cozy and well-appointed with chairs, desk, wardrobe, fridge, safe, suitcase stand, good heating system, wall hooks, big mirrors, electric kettle, slipper, 3 big pillows, tea/coffee supply, many sizable towels etc. Breakfast had a good wide range of selection (including vegetables) and it had a long opening hours (6:30 to 11am). Wifi was working well, and bath tab was equipped with jacuzzi. Staff at reception was courteous and efficient. Hotel was accessible 24/24. Shower/bath water didn't splash.flood over the floor. Electoric plugs were well-placed.
Cons: I wish the check out time was 12 noon, instead of 11am. Also, the hotel entrance can be equipped with a slope, so that it can be barrier free for wheel chairs and the roller suitcases (as it stands, there are currently several steps on stairs from the entrance to the reception). The room could have had more hangers for clothes. The house keeping staff wasn't very conversant in hospitality.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location close to FS Centrale. High-quality accommodation, good breakfast, some nices touches of moderate luxury. Better than the average in the neighborhood.
Cons: My room was a bit cold.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Wonderful hotel
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location to train. About 2 K to center which was walkable.
Cons: Breakfast was unavailable at time we left. They provided breakfast bags. Which were weak. Real coffee and pastry would have been reasonable to provide. Since hotel is located close to train and it is four star I think this is reasonable expectation. I book hotels that include breakfast in Europe.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to reach from central train station and metro. Fantastic breakfast buffet - everything you want and more!Super friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: A very strong Soap smell in the hallway and room. Opened window to air out.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable despite its relatively small size. Breakfast was great and location was excellent
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Close to restaurants, shops, train station. Very clean
9,7 Excellent
Pros: A modern stylish looking building in the middle of a average area of the city, walking into the hotel entrance you can sense immediately this is going to be a rather nice hotel. The decor is a contemporary style to a good standard. The front desk staff we're welcoming and professional. The rooms are very comfy, usual amenities you would find in chain hotels. Comfy bed with good quality linen, fluffy towels. Very clean and high ceilings give you the feeling of space even though the room is not overly big. We were lucky enough to have a balcony, not much of a view but it's still a nice touch to its charm. The breakfast offered Many choices and was displayed beautifully, choices such as scrambled eggs, pastries, fruit, cold meats, cheese, cereals, hot drinks. the dinning rooms, lounge and outdoor terrace were filled with comfy seating .Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure.
Cons: Not much choice when it comes to English language TV channels, but I wasn't planning on watching too much TV during my stay there's far more to see in wonderful Milan. I've read how other guests have not liked the noise from outside, well I agree it can be very noisy, but we are in the middle of a major city after all. When we first entered the room the heating was on fully, but I turned it down opened the window for a while then the room became more comfortable.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Decent location given the price.
Cons: WiFi access speed was extremely slow. Walls were paper thin, with noise from other guests in the hall way and adjacent rooms throughout the night making for poor sleep.
7,5 Good
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel, the staff and their interaction with us
Cons: The breakfast, the room (it was pretty small and smelly) and the thin walls (we could hear a neighbour coughing through the walls).

Pros: The bed was extra comfy. Breakfast buffet was very large and varied. They even had scrambled eggs and bacon!
Cons: The first morning, at 8 am, workmen started loud work in the room next door. Thankfully they moved to another room the next day.

Pros: The pool/sauna facilities at this hotel were very good. Clean, peaceful and very week decorated. A real pleasure.

Pros: Good location, handy for the metro and train station. Good choice of bars and restaurants near by.
Cons: Nothing.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfect, nice room, nice spa center.
Cons: Spa center has strange entrance, there are more than 5 doors, it is difficult to navigate between spa and other doors, no visual information, there is no spa reception and it is difficult to book spa services, as the main reception said that they could not book spa services. a very small safe box - only for passports
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The wellness center was nice the rooms and beds are nice
Cons: Some ambient noise
6,3 Good
Pros: The location.
Cons: The room was not ready at 14 PM when the checkin was supposed to be done. It took another hour. Then, they gave us a room without balcony, when we booked one with balcony. They exchanged it. After one hour and fifteen minutes after checkin time, we finally got checked in. The size of the room was medium. The pillows were not confortable, there were no garbage bags in the garbage cans . You could here the metro tresspassing under. The noise on the street was somehow bearable, but noticeable. The personnel tried to convince us to book a shuttle for 125 euros, when the taxi was about 85 euros or if you went to the railway station, you could get a bus for 7 eur per person.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a great location on the town piazza, walking distance to the train and bus stations, clean, had English speaking television channels, surrounded by great restaurants and shops, and offered a great breakfast.
Cons: The gentleman behind he front desk was not friendly nor helpful. He acted put out with any question we asked. Our tv remote did not work. The woman at the front desk sent someone to fix it and we were able to get an English speaking channel until we turned it off and then it wouldn't wok again.

Cons: Lack of slippers on very cold floor
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Near Liam metro station (Red Line). Takes you to Dumo and the castle directly. Central Train Station is 15 minutes walking distance.

Pros: The junior sweet
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast - perfect location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All
5,3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: It's a stretch to rate as 4 star. Location was great and it's certainly going for the luxury market. Poorly functioning shower in our room was a disappointment for the price. Worse was the service. It was not that our needs were not taken care of but more the manner (attitude) with which they were taken care of. We felt we got poor value for money. 2 stars.
7,5 Good
Cons: Room ac was terrible. Hotel couldnt fix it. You cannot turn it off. Always blow cold air. And make noise.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location.
Cons: Sometimes, I would have to call twice to get things resolved. I also had an issue with the safe box in the room that it showed me an error message and wouldn't lock. I called and informed them but no one came or called me back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's location was perfect; from there, we were able to walk to everything. The staff were very knowledgeable and helped us with directions and eateries. The room was also big for an Italian hotel. We were very happy with our choice.
Cons: Minor detail: The heat was on we opened our windows to get some cooler air for our room so we wouldn't be hot at night. We faced a street that had lots of early morning activity. It's not a big deal...we just closed the window...but the heat works...well
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: Not crazy about the family room... Big room for sure which I think was the main intent and it has a very nice bathroom.
6,0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The coffee question cannot be answered in the way you put it: coffee for the event (Meeting of the International College of Dentists) was excellent. The Americano at breakfast was not as good and luke warm.
Cons: I had booked a Deluxe Room with a "view on the Duomo" The room was facing a wall with the tip of highest spire of the Duomo barely visible. We ended up asking for a downgrade to have a room with a street view and not the wall. That should be made clear to anyone booking this type of room!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed too hard and quite a bit of ambient light at night from devices and light up switches, etc

Pros: Great staff

7,0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect ! The breakfast was quick and yummy.
Cons: I ended up in the unrenovated hallway and the paint was dirty and walls banged up. I'm ok with funk/charm, but the hall was pretty bad. The reno section looked like they're going for ultra modern. Also wish they'd tone down the air freshener scent in the lobby. It's pretty strong.

Cons: Shower didn't drain properly. Minor inconvenience.

Pros: Room was very comfortable, although view over inner courtyard was a bit grim. Bed linens, comforter, towels etc were all superb Desk manager was impressive, as he worked with the staff instead of just supervising - took bags, answered questions, helped with check in etc
Cons: Location is fine, as close to metro, but area seemed a little dubious on weekend night. looked better during day of working week - would have been helpful to have been offered map on check in, as we were in Milan for 1st time and had travelled from overseas.
