Pros: It was a welcomed experience to have staff that spoke English. And though some didn't speak it great, they all actually tried which was nice. The hotel is set slightly back from the street in a tiny garden the front and it was only a 7-10 to the capital square and other places like Wilson Square. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room was tidy and a decent size. I enjoyed my staff and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.Free wifi was great.

Pros: Very centrally located, in an unassuming building that seems to have been entirely renovated inside. I went for the larger size room and found it spacious and well-appointed, with free wi-fi and air conditioning (if needed) while still clocking in at under 100 euros. The wi-fi performed superbly and the staff was warm and helpful. I did not spring for the 9 euro breakfast, but ate at a cafe on the boulevard around the corner. That said, the plaza (Place Nicholas Bachelier) immediately below is charming and boasts a number of very good restaurants. I particularly recommend "La Préférence."
