Pros: Very helpful staff, esp. The two lovely ladies at the front desk helped out with local tips and were really nice! Rooms are as shown in the pictures, light, clean, simple. Bathroom is cool, inside a glass box and surprisingly spacious. Please note that all single rooms are located to the main street, however the windows are well isolated so that noise is locked away. The location is perfect, right in front of the metro Esquirol. Boulangerie (bakery) other side of the road, supermarket next door, restaurant Le Père Léon downstairs. All shopping streets within 5 walking min distance. Jardin des Plantes approx 15min by foot, Garonne 5min. Breakfast is OK for France, and ok if you are in a hurry. I'd return!

Cons: It is a good thing that the hotel offers a private parking but the garage is extremely tight. If a SUV is parked alongside your car you have to get out of your car through the backdoor. Furthermore it is a little bit annoying that there are just one or two keys for the garage. So you have to always go back to the reception to hand back the key if you are leaving with your car and you have to get the key in advance from the reception when returning before you can decend into the garage.

Cons: Room was quite cosy with many angles and not much floor space. Cleaning only happened superficially and there was a lot of dust in various corners of the room and bathroom. Bathroom layout was unique, with 15cm space between toilet and wall, and would do well with a deep clean and fresh paint as well as silicone.

Cons: We were on the third floor and all the lights from the second floor up on the staircases and landings were out. There were some problems due to heavy rain. We mentioned this on both days but it wasn't resolved. Very, very dark trying to find the room and get in to it.

Cons: The double rooms are kind of small for two adults. There is just about enough space to open a large suitcase on the floor. Wardrobe space is a bit of a squeeze too. No refrigerator in the room. For several days of stay it is a little inconvenient.

Cons: The photos are not AT ALL what the rooms look like!!! We were put in a first room which was on the staircase, a firedoor away from other rooms on the floor, and despite a double door, it was very loud with noise from people on the stairs. It clearly had been redone in years and the bed seemed old too. After complaining, we were moved to another room. Had been painted more recently but was still nowhere near the standard shown in the photos but was passable. The bathroom was behind a sliding door, not ideal for privacy. The sink had a massive crack from someone dropping something in it, the shelf was falling off and the shower door is missing a panel so you can't close. Staff are on the whole unfriendly. Overall fine but false advertising...

Cons: Cleanliness Was a major issue. after a few minutes lying on the bed my skin started inching. I am guessing lice or bed bugs. you could feel the dust on the bed. when I open the bath to take a shower , the bathtub turned all yellow. must have been that it hasn't been used for a while and the water that was in the pipes was all rusted. whatever it was , it was quite unpleasant. the sink was dripping onto the sink cabinet. again very unpleasant to have to deal with these problems, especially when you are paying 68 euros for it.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary so we booked ahead for a dinner on the Saturday night and put a special message and a bottle of champagne for my wife. When we arrived we were told the restaurant does not open on weekends! Very strange really. Anyway it didn't spoil our anniversary celebration. One of the girls recommended a restaurant for us.

Housekeeping was noisy and random No regard for us still sleeping in the mornings - banging doors and clearing rooms next door Definitely not soundproofed either! Some days cups washed out other days not Some days had hand towels other days no One day table with kettle not wiped down and shower cubicle not cleaned properly! All a bit disappointing to be honest as friends were staying in the same place(us 3 nights, them only 1 night) and had a 1st floor spacious room with a balcony and large windows etc seems we were stuffed into the basement and forgotten! Would stay there again as location great and bed very comfortable but would make sure not put into the dark, cramped unsuperior ground floor room Feel a bit cheated and that we paid too much for what we got

Pros: Location is good, the breakfast was satisfactory.
Cons: Our room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was a used bottle cap in one of the mugs, the top dresser drawer had rubbish in it (empty bag of chips and chocolate wrapper) I’m guessing from the previous guest. Although the room was booked for 2x people there were only 1x bath towel, and only one tiny punnet of milk (so 1 of us had to have it black, even though we don’t drink it black) I get it’s a budget hotel but common, that’s just being super stingy. The room was super tiny, so no where to put our large suitcase.

Pros: The lady at the reception was very nice. The room was very comfortable and clean. The room was very nicely located, with a view on Jean Jaures street.
Cons: The TV was a bit small. The TV did not have many channels, and only a few English-speaking channels. There was some noise at night from the street.

Pros: My flight was delayed. When I contacted the hotel by email I got the reply immediately. It's very close to the train station. Around the hotel there are bakery and cafe. It's convenience for travellers to transit from/to the airport and the train station. The receptionist gave me remotes, one for TV and the other for AC but inside room was warm without AC.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Staff really nice and helpful. Great location, two minutes from the station. Room adequate but could have been cleaner. Unfortunately no lift, (especially staying on 2nd floor...) Plenty of places around the hotel to grab something to eat, even late in the evening. On the whole, extremely convenient for one night's stay and catching train in the morning. Free wifi - good heating - television
