9,0 Excellent
Pros: A really good Breakfast ,really welcoming hosts.
Cons: No bath.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The common room was friendly, the food amazing, the rooms where clean and comfortable, towels changed daily, and beds turned down daily. The greatest proof of the friendly staff came from a couple who where going to the same wedding as us. Their plane was delayed, and so they got in in the middle of the night. Instead of making this a negative thing, they owner/manager was concerned that they shouldnt have to get up early for breakfast (served til 9 on the weekends) and asked them if they wanted some sandwiches made for them to pick up when they woke up. This customer service seemed to run lik the lifeblood of this B&B. Great value and great service.
Cons: The only thing that would have made the stay better, would have been if the bed was 10 cm broader. But I'm a big guy, so I cant fault them for that.

Pros: The hosts were exceptional and extremely flexible to our needs. We had a great stay with Emma and Duncan and can't thank them enough because they made it very relaxing for us. Breakfast was amazing too, Duncan cooked us a full English which was delicious, but if you wan't anything else, they have it all. If we go back, we will definitely return to Emma and Duncan. :)

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Well located hotel benefiting from a top floor bar / restaurant with an exceptional 360 degree panorama. We liked the naming of the rooms after Cambridge colleges, and also the many pictures of famous Cambridge alumni. Breakfast was good.
Cons: A tad on the small side all round, for a 4 star hotel.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: I thought there would be a swimming pool as I’d seen mention of a ‘spa pool’.
7,0 Good
Pros: The restaurant linked to the hotel (Steakhouse) was amazing and the staff were incredible for my friend’s birthday. The food was incredible, amazing steak! I’ve left a separate outstanding review for them. The breakfast was ok, a little bit more variety on hot food (porridge for example) would have been good however. The staff were nice and the surprise for my friend’s birthday was so lovely of them! Nice amenities and the Elemis products were great.
Cons: 3 main things: the problems with our door (we were told maintenance would come out to fix this but never did during our stay) - this meant we had to keep asking staff to come up with us to help open our door. The bed in the room was really squeaky which was annoying (room 315) and not great for relaxing. The pressure in the shower was really sub-par, weak and didn’t wash very well. There was a bath but no tap for running water. I’m not sure if all of the rooms are this poor in that area. My friend and I both agreed that the above 3 points warranted noting.

Cons: Nothing
6,5 Good
Pros: I was held up for three hours in Customs at Heathrow and advised staff that I would not make the first night of a four night stay. They were not helpful in assisting me in finding another Hilton. I specifically was told by the clerk on check out that I would not be charged for the missed night, but discovered that indeed I have been charged and I am writing sepaerately for a refund. Staff in the bar treated me like a vagrant beaucse my room was not ready and I only had casual clothes. It was only when I put my expensive suit on that I received decent service.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Food in the restaurant was good value for money as they had a Valentines meal special on
Cons: The drinks were a little pricy & the room wasn't made up til quite late on the Saturday afternoon

Pros: Great staff great location and great breakfast. Room was comfortable but decor a little tired. Expensive.

Cons: Had to go back down to reception 3 times to have key cards activated. Not good after a long journey and with unwell child. Phone in room didn’t work so had to go down again to order room service. Room Service went to wrong room!!! So by the time it reached us, food was cold. Not impressed.

Pros: Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room was clean- had a lovely view of a field. Beautiful setting. The room was good value for money.
Cons: Breakfast was continental - was really expensive for what it was. Optional though.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel houses are beautiful as are the surrounding grounds. Our room was small but very well decorated and had a lovely view of the grounds. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. We highly recommend.
Cons: If you are looking for a spacious room where you can bring in a few pieces of luggage, you should ask for a room that would accomodate you. We only had a small suitcase and a backpack each.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Lovely setting
Cons: On checking, accommodation is in gated area we where told we had to pay a daily parking charge, then told we had to give a £50 room deposits in case of damage. Also that a continental breakfast was available at a cost of £13 per person !! On checking out I asked for deposit back to be told they will wait for a report from the cleaners as to condition of room incase they have to get outside cleaners in. I have never heard anything like it !! I insisted the receptionist go and check room with me. She asked me to stay in reception whilst she went and got quite annoyed when I insisted on accompanying her ! Well ! She checked sheets for stains ! The pillow cases for stains ! All the towels, the cups and glasses for chips and the the toilet to see if it had been left in a clean state. On going back to the reception I was told that she would refund my deposit now but it would take upto 10 days to be credited to my account. As we arrived early evening and had to pay for parking I asked if we could leave our car in the car park while we went for a walk, I was told that as I had checked out I had to remove my car or face another fee !! I booked our stay on booking.com and when I queried the extra costs as they where not mentioned on booking.com and was told I should have read small print on their website. I leave it to you to decide on your stay
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff members and how cosy the bedroom was.
Cons: Some of the breakfast was old and stale especially the pastries.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Well if you want to now be a chic destination rather than the wonderful homely place that you were then try remember a guest who stayed several nights a week for several months and have you gifts and saw you regularly.
Cons: See above. Bad bad form having stayed so much and met with complete blank look. Then again so was the lady who asked the same owner where reception was. He walks off I tell her. The room was about nothing so I was going to get more but I couldn’t bear to donate another cent to the place. Shame - used to be a pleasure to stay and sure cheap but I get a suite at IHG as they remember me, I get nothing if given nothing in return for my extensive stays. Bad form. I was truly shocked my name is even unique. Can you be that bad at practicing some form of customer service. Etiquette.
7,0 Good
Pros: Shower was good, bed comfortable, room clean, water provided.
Cons: Generally good, I didn t have the Continental breakfast as I thought it was over priced at £19. Not happy about being charged for parking as no alternative, I think it should be included in the rooms price.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: everything was excellent - breakfast was good - location was very suitable for my visit
Cons: maybe have an English breakfast in the winter-time

Pros: Lovely grounds fantastic views
Cons: Nothing just perfect
4,4 Okay
Pros: Impressive exterior to the building and well meaning staff The breakfast was hot well cook and hot plates so the food did not go cold
Cons: No restaurant facilities in the evening - the only offerring was a bar menu of jacket potatoes, pasty or sandwiches. The 'chef' was stopping work at 8.00 pm presumably health and safety were worried about potential microwave overdose. No facilities, other than a bar which had no background music, no tv and no sky sports - all requirements for a business traveller, hence no customers. We popped in to the bar a 6.30 before going to a meeting and returned aat 9.15 - there had been no custom between those hours and there were no other clients until we left at 10.15 Breakfast was on long tables not separate tables and no table service

7,0 Good
Pros: The room was lovely, clean, nice decor, clean towels and cosy! The TV had free view, Netflix, iplayer, itvhub, amazon prime! Shower was lovely. Could do with a blind or net up as just a curtain. Otherwise lovely.
Cons: Firstly, My friend and i stayed in a twin room. The single bed was very small and I'm a small person..Nearly fell off it a few times in the night! but, was a comfy mattress and i can see why they had to do this as the room isn't big but it is cosy. . Secondly, the 1st time coming into the building was kinda fun, a bit like your on a secret mission with putting in the codes getting in 1 door at a time, (no check in at the place) there was a beep every number you punched in and when code was right you were given access to enter.. but then, every other door making the same sounds coming in and out was a bit annoying tbh. Especially late at night and slamming of doors in the morning. I needed ear plugs for this.
1,0 Poor
Cons: The property is on a very busy road and traffic noise continued until midnight and started up at 6am so it was difficult to sleep. The outside light constantly went on so let loads of light into the room. People coming in and out so you hear the door slamming and the house was generally noisy. I asked for a quiet room! The heating wasn’t on in the room so not ideal in February. The bed wasn’t a double but two singles pushed together and it was uncomfortable and noisy.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Clean accommodation.
Cons: The bathroom fan never went off, so noisy at night. No milk or spoons for the tea/coffee. When room next door (no12) used any water, a pump made loud noise near the bed, so noisy at night. Lack of signage to property. Door threashold uneven. Untidy car park.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A modern guesthouse that's great for friends and family with great location and value for money! This property is self-check-in which is easy and we're able to access the property with no issues at all! Property is sparkling clean!
1,0 Poor
Cons: My room was not as described I booked a double deluxe room and I got given a twin room. I emailed to ask for a refund and they would not issue one.
7,0 Good
Pros: Accommodation very clean. Ample parking and short bus ride to city centre.
Cons: Noise of other guests, door codes great idea but are very noisy with people keep going in and out plus door slamming through the night. Netflix didn’t work which was a shame, also couldn’t get the TV channels to work. Felt the damage deposit was excessive when only using the room to sleep and shower.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to get into Cambridge city centre and make use of the great city on the doorstep. Room and en-suite was comfortable and spacious. Shared facilities including kitchen and lounge were very good as well as clean.
Cons: In room 8 we were slightly on the road-side so if you like to sleep with window open and are not an easy-sleeper you may find this uncomfortable - however once window is closed you cannot hear any road noise.
7,0 Good
Cons: We had no hot water and no heating there were no extra covers. So we had a cold night sleep in February.

Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing house, interesting to look around. Excellent breakfast and friendly welcome Super comfy bed and lovely bouncy duvet, very clean. Used the 25% discount at the Greene Man, that was well worth the visit and a good recommendation
Cons: Staying in the stables, room very small and basic, not worth the cost . Thought husband would walk into the TV screen in the night, just felt so basic and quiet. Would have booked in the house if I had realised. I personally don't like the coffee pod and machines, prefer a sachet and kettle but that's my preference, I didn't ask for it to be changed so no opportunity for them to resolve that. Walls thin in the stables, listened to next door snoring all night
7,0 Good
Pros: Lovely baths ,upgraded to apartment, interesting antique collections Lovely breakfast
Cons: Very draughty room, no thermostat controls on baths & showers Which could be dangerous

Cons: It's an old building, slightly cramped -- restrooms are really tiny. Soundproofing is bad and every noise echoes. Nothing to do with staff -- but I was surprised at the level of running in corridors & other guests' slamming doors.

Pros: The beds were so comfy, much more so than I expected. Food was great and reasonably priced. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: Windows in room rather thin, they whistled when the wind blew and we could hear everything outside on the street. Also games could do with a check, quite a few pieces missing.

Cons: Limited food options during the day.

Pros: They accommodated our request for another room, and the room we settled on was great.
Cons: We left a hairdryer in our original room, and it took days to retrieve it.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, near to the centre and all amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Room a little tired but well maintained.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The beds were comfortable the bathroom good and our request for sheets and blankets instead of duvets was really nice.
Cons: The basic breakfast was poor and the coffee disgusting. If you didn't choose a cooked breakfast it wasn't value for money. The bistro dinner was ok but the fish soup on the menu fixe was a sad watery offering.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is fairly close to the center of town and is an easy walk to most everything you would want to see. The room we had was really comfortable and unique, not a chain hotel where all the rooms are the same. So that can be good and bad. I don't know what the other rooms were like but ours was really nice. The king bed was an actual US king size bed rather than UK kings which was a surprise. The bar was pretty neat also and we enjoyed a night cap there every night of our stay.
Cons: There was a bit of a "city sewer" smell in the hallway leading to our room. It wasn't in our room though and we didn't complain but it probably needs to be taken care of. Probably a small repair so it isn't an ongoing thing just something that was going on while we were there....I hope.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I got the room with two free standing bathtubs and wow. The bed was HUGE. The bath was incredible and the overall service was superior. This will probably be a monthly visit for me as it was the perfect place in busy Cambridge to relax!
Cons: Our room didn’t have a view so that wasn’t too great. The Valet parking was a bit weird and it should be stated in their bio as to how and where you park. But the valet service was still nice.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel. Very well appointed and characterful rooms.
Cons: Parking is difficult but it’s in the centre of Cambrigde.

Pros: The room was clean and simple with en-suite, TV, tea making facilities and storage for clothes. Staff were pleasant and super helpful. There were a great many choices for eating out within a 10 min walk. And the complimentary continental breakfast was served in our room and was plenty and yummy.
Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Tasty, well presented dinner in a comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was exceptional for a number reasons, not least the willingness of the staff to accommodate my needs. I would definitely stay there again.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Cosy and clean, helpful staff
6,0 Good
Pros: Breakfasts were very good, Food in restaurant was also good.
Cons: Room was very small. Difficult to get into / Out of shower as door opened onto the toilet so cannot open it properly. Was promised an itemised bill at the end of the week. They did not bother to communicate that to other staff so i had to make do with separate receipts that i had to ask for. Restaurant and bar closed one night ( Annual cleaning / maintenance). Was not informed prior to my stay even though they claimed they rang me. But i had no record of this on my phone or my email. Plus the most vexing thing. Is it a Pub Or is it a restaurant. If you order your drinks at the bar etc why should i pay a service charge. I dont pay in my local so why here. It says its a green king pub outside with all the signs. I don't get it. Its all on expenses for me anyway but if it came out my pocket i would argue about it. If your in the restaurant section all evening and get waited on for everything fair enough. But not for those on their own who get up and get their own drinks etc
7,9 Good
Pros: Food
Cons: Very small room with access to double bed only from one side
4,0 Okay
Cons: Previously stayed and got a half decent room so that was ok this time the window was rotten and didn’t fit properly. The room was so small it would have been better putting a single instead of a double as there wasn’t room for two people. Bathroom has seen better days.
