All was really great!
I needed help / wheelchair assistance and everyone was very accommodating
Had problem reaching to an available airline agent as requested to get a boarding pass.
Chair do not rekline, space is limited and non existing, Comfort level negative 1000!
Liked: Flight took off on time and arrived early. The airplane was clean and organized. The aircrew were super! Made the flight fun! I felt safe. Could have been better: I tried to check in at the kiosk, but an error “99” prevented me from doing so requiring me to wait in line for an agent.
Boarding was easy and orderly since passengers with carry on luggage boarded first.
Price is good
I like the opportunity to bid for a better seat. I upgraded to front row easily. I took a red eye flight. I wish the flight attendants weren't so loud. The level of their voices was way too loud for the red eye flight.
My expectations were low and it still sucked
Better chairs
Good flight as long as crew is there and no weather delay.
Hate all the upcharges and hidden fees.
The check in people in Atlanta were truly awful and unhelpful and ended up overcharging us for our bags.
I will never fly spirit again. They canceled the flight and didn't offer any alternatives so I got my money back and booked a different airlines trying to get home after a funeral.
We arrived 15 minutes early ,but the luggage take more than 30 minutes to appear.
booked a reservation with expedia and it should included 1 lugague and we end up paying $79.00 per bag because all the crew can say. "IS YOUR PROBLEM NOT MINE"
Hate Spirit they're so disrespectful it wouldn't let me check into my flight and I was there on time and they wouldn't refund my money so I had to spend another $500 with a different airline
Canceled after 6 hours
I am really disappointed with kayak, I use to really rely on this app. But my most recent experience was horrendous to say the least. When I searched my ticket your site automatically selected an alternate date with out me knowing. I could not contact kayak for help and the airline would not help me resolve the issue
My seat was comfortable, I read my book and ate a sandwich. Pretty nice. I like that the plane is well lit.
I purchased the first two front row seats. They were very comfortable and had plenty of room. It is worth the extra to purchase them. The flight crew coming and going were awsome and kept the time passing.
The wide seats help and were reasonably priced. Def worth it. Added at least a small bit of comfort to the flight
Legroom was good. Seats are not very comfortable since they do not recline. Maybe add a slight tilt to them via washers on the bolts on the front of the seats.
Really, other than price, there's nothing good about Spirit. And when you add all those extra charges for everything, the fact that they charge extra for a carry on, or that their bag fees are higher for a lower weight allowance (40 lbs vs 50 lbs for everyone else), the price advantage becomes too small. Other airlines such as JetBlue are much better options.
Seats need to be bigger
Crew could not help book me seat next to my dad. Thankfully, the right next seat to him was empty.
Dislikes: No amenities Likes: Streamlined and efficient
Unexpected charges, bad seats, bad employes, horrible flight.
Flight attendant, Ann, moved me to allow quicker deplaning. This allowed me just enough time to make my next flight. She was kind, confident, and assertive about my travel day.
The flight was delayed for 4 hours due to a mechanical issue they ought to have been inspected before we all boarded. Finally boarding 4 hours later, we missed our connecting flights and didn’t arrive at final destination till 10PM after starting our travel close to 2AM
On board Spirit Airlines flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x46x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Spirit Airlines assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
