Pros: Excellent value, clean, friendly relaxed warm welcome. It was for us an ideal venue travelling through France on return from holiday home in Spain. Would recommend without hesitation for a short stay .
Cons: Nothing to dislike - !

Pros: A wonderful welcome from a charming Dutch lady who seemed to run the hotel almost by herself! Opposite railway station which is, however, about 2 miles from Rocamadour.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: central and safe parking
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist, Artur, was incredibly helpful and pleasant. He advised us well regarding visiting Rocamadour itself and suitable eateries. We visited Carennac the following day, on his advice, and we spent a wonderful couple of hours touring on foot.
Cons: The parking was private to the hotel but not in a secured compound.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I and my family were really pleased with all aspects of the hotel and area. Would have no problem in recommending the hotel to friends and family.
Cons: Not apllicable
6,3 Good
Pros: Location Friendly helpful staff
Cons: The ridiculous small room that was cluttered with furniture which made moving around the room difficult and frustrating. In reality the room we were in should have only 1 single bed. Hot stuffy room with no air conditioning and by opening window only allowed the outside hot breeze to flow into the room.
Le Belvedere - Rocamadour - Building

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room of a decent size, clean and overlooking Rocamadour. The hotel restaurant has a large terrace with a view and where it eats very well. The breakfast buffet is very good and comprehensive. Free parking.
Cons: Upon arrival we found many flies in the room, also in the hall. We struggled to get the flies out of the room.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location at the top of the town was fine, except the "town elevator" was not operational at the time we were there, which made visiting the town much less convenient. Staff gave a warm welcome upon arrival and was very helpful. Our dog was also warmly welcomed. Free parking behind the hotel was a plus. Breakfast was good, with a pleasant view of Rocamadour and the gorge.
Cons: The noise from the kitchen and bar downstairs was a problem. Also, the mattress in Room #1 needs to be replaced! We found the lighting over the bathroom sink a bit strange.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location above Rocamadour. Clean and tidy functional room. Excellent views from restaurant.
Cons: Room very hot, fan supplied but not adequate. No tea & coffee facility in room. Beds little uncomfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location. For those who can and like to walk, the hotel is right at the head of the “Voie sainte,” less than a km from the lower city (tougher upgrade back to hotel). Easy by car or taxi to upper parking lot at the elevator. Also, if driving, arrival at hotel and departure to other directions is easy.
Cons: Other than the fact that an elevator would have been better for the one of us with bad knees, nothing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent. But the view from the hotel overlooking Rocamadour was outstanding. I would recommend staying just for this view alone. The check in staff were polite and friendly. The centre of Rocamadour was in walking distance. Parking was safe.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
7,0 Good
Pros: Amazing location with wonderful view of Rocamadour. Room was smallish but comfy and the bathroom was good
Cons: Mâitre de in restaurant was very rude and unhelpful. Restaurant appeared to be understaffed. Only vegetarian options were salads, and when we were finally seated, we were told that all the salads were off. Which was a shame as the one fish main, when it finally came, was good. And the staff at breakfast the following morning were charming.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect spot to watch the sun go down overlooking Rocamadour. Private parking and good sized rooms. Evening meal fab
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Stylish and Beautiful Relais. We loved our stay, good location to start the visit in Rocamadour. Good breakfast, amenities, bed and staff. I would stay again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We took the family room / no luxury but comfy enough, right price for the 4 of us for this category. Super quiet (October!), trees and greenery around, nice garden with grass and view (but not on the castle/cliff side). Breakfast was perfect for us in a very bright room. best was the location : on top of the cliff, just next to the castle. We just needed to go down the stairs to enter the medieval town.
Cons: nothing wrong to report!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally helpful staff. Room clean and comfortable.
Cons: All good.
7,0 Good
Pros: The setting s definately very romantic and beautiful, ... IT was very quiet and sereen . IT was super clean and practical!
Cons: Breakfast? Meh ... not good ... we immediatly heard that 'that Bread is reserved' ... quite odd ... coffee was cold ... Well ... not the best breakfast :-)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and free parking, very friendly staff and the room was a good size and very clean. The bathroom was like new with a powerful shower. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
Cons: Nothing not to like

Pros: Reception staff very welcoming. Clean comfortable room with excellent bathroom. Brilliant location for exploring Rocamadour.
Cons: No facilities to get a drink (not even a vending machine)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find, (hotel website gives good route instructions) and had good parking. The receptionist was very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great view. We arranged to eat at the hotel opposite in the evening. Had very good food, with tables outdoors; some flies around, but it was a very hot and unavoidable. Good air conditioning in our room. Excellent breakfast in dining room with great views. It was easy to get down to the church, and further to the Main Street, using the 2 funiculars.
Cons: Nothing

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant rural location half a mile from Rocamadour, friendly staff and very good food
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This inn is a couple of miles outside the village of Rocamadour. It is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed an evening walk and went past a large farm with grazing sheep and goats. The rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had a little girl of 4 months and they made it feel like she was no trouble at all. Extremely helpful and highly recommend staying here. Thanks again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, restaurant all first rate. The host made very good recommendations for visits and excursions. Easily accessible from the autoroute network.
Cons: As a non-drinker of wine, there wasn't much beer available
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was spectacular. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Although we didn't use the pool as the weather was a little cool it was one of the reasons for us booking this hotel. Loved La Troubadour and wished we could have stayed longer.

Pros: Location right in the middle of the town. Great. Breakfast was lovely and well presented.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ate in the bar area for breakfast.
Cons: Thought the price for the dining room breakfast was a little steep.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful reception hall, Location is super, personnel was so friendly and restaurant is amazing. Very good overall.
Cons: Cigarette smoke was felt the whole night and nothing helped, only wide opening of the window - it was a cold night, so wasn’t comfortable. Unfortunately no one replied over the phone when calling at number 9, as advised for out of working hours.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was just superb. The location in the medival city was perfect for exploring Rocamadour. Restaurant was excellent. The staff were superb particularly having received the notification from the President at 2000 on the saturday night that at midnight the restaurant had to close. We would throughly recommend this hotel and their staff.
6,7 Good
Cons: Restaurant was very good and very friendly staffs. Good wine selection.
10,0 Excellent

6,0 Good
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
7,3 Good
Pros: I loved the traditional architecture of the hotel and its idyllic location.
Cons: The bathroom ! This really needed updating-bigstyle!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Situated in the heart of the old town. Wonderful view from our bedroom. Comfortable and spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Excellent food served.
Cons: The hordes of day-trippers that come to Rocamadour during the daytime (they cleared out after 6pm thankfully).
6,3 Good
Pros: Very helpful staff and an excellent location. Clean & tidy room.
Cons: If I was being picky, the grouting around the bath/shower was mouldy and discoloured which doesn't look good and is easy enough to sort out. Parking is possible but you have to squeeze in three deep and the keys are left with reception so cars can be moved if necessary. If you aren't happy about that, they can be parked down the road or in the garage, if there is room.
7,3 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and the room was full of character. The bathroom was very modern and had a separate shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was so quiet despite overlooking the main street in the old town. At about 8.45 am we were the only signs of life in the old village - no other people and no animals on the street. This was a great way to see the place before the crowds arrived. Rides to the top level as soon as they opened (9 am) let us explore there before the coaches started to arrive. Parking was not a problem even though the area was quite small and reception saw to any re-positioning of vehicles as needed.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, fantastic room and great value for money
Cons:
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel is perfect.
Cons:
6,8 Good
Pros: excellent location
Cons:
7,2 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent, and was the main reason we booked. however, having stayed in several other Best western hotels around France during the same holiday I do think that it was slightly overpriced, despite its location. Having said that, the room was excellent and staff very amenable.
Cons:
4,8 Okay
Pros: Location, friendly staff and excellent restaurant
Cons: Access to hotel and car parking could have been better explained preferably on the booking confirmation. Air conditioning poor.

Pros: Well organised with friendly staff
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The bungalow was spotlessly clean and very new.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very proactive, park was meticulously clean. Great facilities for children like covered pool and trampoline.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous campsite. Extremely clean and a great set up catering for all ages
Cons: food wasn’t available during the day and it’s only a small menu. A wider choice would’ve been appreciated.
6,3 Good
Pros: It’s great for kids. Modern and very clean. The kids club was fun. The pool area nice and safe for little ones.
Cons: We only booked for one night and found out on check in that we needed to hire bedding which was another $45 Euros on top of what we paid. We have stayed at other cabins and for one or two nights it’s been provided. You also have to clean or pay a cleaning fee and again as it was only for one night we didn’t have cleaning things with us. The rooms were very hot with no fans. We also arrived 45 mins ahead of check in. While I didn’t expect my room to be ready they told us we could not wait there or let our children cool down in the pool and made us wait with two babies in the carpark.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Ease of checking in, option to get bedding (as we didn't have any with us), and willingness of the guy at reception to help in booking visit to the caves
Cons: The space in the cabin was a bit crammed (especially the rooms, and not much space for luggage), but we only needed the place for one night. All in all I was actually quite impressed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this place. The sports facilities were great for the boys, the pools were lovely, the Jacuzzi was fun. Patrick and Anna were so helpful and patient with our attempts at speaking French. The cabin was well equipped and scrupulously clean. One of my son's had his 10th birthday there and Patrick kindly booked Lion D'Or restaurant in Rocamadour for us..It was so easy to get to and we had a lovely meal there as well as enjoying a wonder around the town and the Sanctuary.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: staff really helpful and friendly, everywhere clean
Cons: pillows not comfortable, bed a little hard
8,0 Excellent
Pros: the heated swimming pool, the pizzeria, the little store on the site where you can find basic stuff to cook at very reasonable prices
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is exactly the same as the picture description. Everything meets our needs. Make an appointment in advance to check on the arrival of room attendants at 8 a.m. on time.
Cons: Nothing unsatisfactory

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Alles was tip top.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice landscape and nice swimming pool. The dinner was excellent
7,5 Good
Pros: The location is fabulous, incredible view across the countryside and mountains. We visited Rocamadour which was 5 minutes away, so this was ideal. The exterior of the properties is lovely and it's such a shame that the interior doesn't match what you are expecting. The employees that we met were all lovely. We enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast which were part of our deal, so it was decent value for money.
Cons: The room was in desperate need of refurbishment, the bathroom in particular was disappointing - circa 1972. I really didn't want to spend any time in there it was pretty grim. Not dirty but just very old, some cracked tiles, etc. It also had one of those cream hairdryers attached to the wall that I haven't seen for decades! Took me over an hour to dry my hair!!!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The pool
Cons: Breakfast was pretty expensive for a fairly basic spread
6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful surroundings, lots of stars and very quiet
Cons: Not very friendly personel (in the morning), the room without window - only the door thus not to safe to open at night

Cons: Would have liked a bath
8,3 Excellent
Pros: - Great rooms with a comfortable beds. - The hotel itself is beautiful - Quiet and peaceful location - Food was good at the hotel restaurant
Cons: - Some of the amenities are a little old - one of the hair dryers was not functional - Our tripple room had two bathrooms. Would have preferred a shower in at least one (both had bath tubs)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely views. The terrace restaurant was superb
Cons: Nothing

6,0 Good
Pros: Warm and complete welcome Lovely property and well taken care off Very good location It’s everything you need but no more
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable and hollowed out. The living room is so nice but the room missed a bit of warmth and charm. The colours are monotonous and there’s no decoration. I expected it to be less basic from the pictures. Breakfast seems overpriced, so we didn’t take it.

Pros: The location is fabulous, near the stairway to the church, the parking just in front of the entrance. In the evening you can admire the spectacular view from the open terrace. The staff is lovely and attentive. Strongly recommended! There I’ve tasted the most delicious fois gras! Et je n’ai jamais goûté rien de meilleur!

Pros: The host, Genevieve and her staff were outstanding. They went out of their way to assist us. Their kindness was extraordinary.
Cons: The wifi wasn’t very good. That was a minor inconvenience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was Great, location was Great, room was Great, view was Great, restaurant was Great. Four weeks in southern France the best hotel on our trip. The most accommodating and helpful staff of anywhere we stayed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful hotel and an absolutely spectacular location. Our hotel was located at the base of the castle at Rocamadour. We had a terrace with a view of the valley that was to die for! The hotel “owner” or manager was positively wonderful. Ours was a very clean and comfortable room; appointed with all of the desired amenities. We will definitely return to this wonderful little jewel of a hotel!
Cons: The only detraction from our experience was the arrival of two late night “entitled” guests, who brought with them a yapping mutt that barked incessantly for about a half an hour. My wife and I had already retired for the evening and were actually awakened from our nightly slumber by the inconsideration of those late-arriving guests and their mutt. I actually ended up pounding on the wall of their room and my pounding appeared to have resolved the issue.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but very nice with a lovely patio. The location could not be better. Excellent property.
Cons: The person who was tending the bar area in the morning would not allow us to sit at a table to drink our coffee because we were not ordering breakfast. We found this somewhat annoying as the restaurant was virtually empty and we were guests at the hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location, food, service. Parking in front of the hotel although only part of the day.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Unable to use the terrace at lunchtime unless ordering lunch. No lift but appreciate it is a very old building.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for visiting Rocamadour as right in centre. Room small but clean. Nice view of valley. Good meal in restaurant.
Cons: Breakfast very basic. Very little parking at hotel.
6,3 Good
Pros: No breakfast as they could not provide one to meet our dietary needs
Cons: More helpful catering staff

Pros: The location is wonderful, the welcome by the host was really warm, the rooms were large and well decorated... BUT ... see below
Cons: within minutes of arriving we were told to keep the windows and front door shut because of the flies... at first we didn’t think too much of that until we tried to go to sleep and found that we were woken up repeatedly with flies landing on us... at breakfast we found tee had to swipe the flies away as we ate and sadly after only a short time at the pool we had to leave because we were so fed up of swatting away the flies... such a shame as the pool area looked so nice!! We were very unhappy about the flies... it spoilt our stay!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: lovely to take a dip in the pool after a long drive. Clean room with air con unit that was much needed :-)
Cons: if you want to be in walking distance of a restaurant or bar then this place would not be suitable, we loved the peace and quiet of it though
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was very poor for an expensive 15euro
Cons: The kitchen was very dirty as was the cutlery which had been very poorly washed. The pans were very old and were heavily stained. There was a dead rat in the cupboard. Bread which had been left over night was eaten by some rodent. The breakfast in the morning was very poor for high price of 15 E. I was nearly electrocuted by the coffee machine and got a real belt when I touched the on/off switch. The earthing in the property is very poor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beaitiful location and very welcoming family
Cons: We liked everything
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very good facilities in rural setting. Large spacious, clean and comfortable room and owners very helpful. Excellent breakfast. We only stayed overnight on way back to Scotland but this would be a great base to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming back to the region. We chose to have dinner in the restaurant for guests (needs booked in advance as all fresh and mainly local produce) which was excellent and very relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: Poor wifi connectivity so an issue if you need that - was not important to us on our visit. If you are not dining on site then need to drive - nearest town is 10 to 12 minute drive away.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, quiet, swimming pool
Cons: Could have been a bit cleaner
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool Nice staff
Cons: Bit out of the way
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very special experience! Accommodation is in very spacious and well equipped rooms in the converted stables of the chateau. I appreciated the air conditioning as it was quite warm and humid. We were greeted warmly and able to check in a little early, which was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and informative. Breakfast was generous and delicious, in a huge converted stable room downstairs. There were also 2 small sitting rooms upstairs. An extra delight was the private dinner we were able to enjoy, thanks to Dutch chef de maison - Joop! We had not prebooked dinner, but Joop quickly suggested a light menu (of 5 courses!) for us, that he was remarkably able to put together with no more than a couple of hours warning. It was all delicious, and exactly what we were wanting. He joined us (at our request) for after dinner liqueurs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening! (I would strongly suggest you prebook a dinner from Joop) The chateau is just a short drive from Rocamadour. We stayed only 1 night, but I really wish we had been able to stay longer, as I would have also liked to experience Rocamadour at night. A lovely place to stay and visit!

Pros: The peace and quiet, the room service which was unexpected, the friendly owners who offered local knowledge, having breakfast at one big table and meeting other guests, the proximity to Rocamadour and other sites
Cons:
7,6 Good
Pros: The Hotel is in very nice 450 years old building in a small village. It is also very romantic - as you are in the middle of beautiful nature you can observe the sky from the window and see plenty of stars (this in not possible anymore in big cities because of to many lights). The rooms are renovated, very nice and clean. The bathroom has also the massage shower. The breakfast was very good and the owners of the Hotel were very nice and kind. This hotel will for sure remain in our hearts and we will recommend it to our friends.
Cons: I would suggest to put more indications from the main roads to find the Hotel easily. We had the navigation, but is was still not so easy.

Cons: All good.

Cons: We liked everything.
6,0 Good
Pros: Warm and complete welcome Lovely property and well taken care off Very good location It’s everything you need but no more
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable and hollowed out. The living room is so nice but the room missed a bit of warmth and charm. The colours are monotonous and there’s no decoration. I expected it to be less basic from the pictures. Breakfast seems overpriced, so we didn’t take it.

Pros: Lovely modern property Room had view over garden & was very close to chateau.
Cons: As we were staying in November there were not many dining options within walking distance.

Pros: The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had a little girl of 4 months and they made it feel like she was no trouble at all. Extremely helpful and highly recommend staying here. Thanks again!
