Cons: The in-room mini bar had been taken away and replaced with a mini bar room service menu, so as well as the overpriced chocolate bar, you pay an additional $5 to have it brought to your room. Valet parking is not in a secured garage, you pay $48.50 to have your car “valet parked” in the hotel driveway.

Reception didn’t ask how our stay was so I mentioned we hadn’t slept all night for the noise but she wasn’t interested. Could have got a much cheaper hotel and had a better sleep.

Cons: I am five dauys out from leaving there and I still have holds on my Visa card even though my bill was paid in full when I left .
Initially I had two holds that equaled my full stay of $2800 plus the payment in full. Even now one business week later I have roughly $1400 in holds on my card. That is quite a lot of money to tie up.

Cons: The parking was one way in and out so a bit difficult if you were entering the same time as someone was leaving, also if someone was in the loading dock area. The elevators took a while to get to you and was mostly always full and only two of them went down to the car park which you didn’t know until you were already in the elevator.

When I mentioned the smallness of the room in comparison to the room I had thought I had chosen I was pretty much ignored by staff. We had our daughters, seven and nine respectively they wanted to use the pool.. Access to the pool was annoying as we were staying in the opposite wing so had to travel up the elevator twice each time with wet clothes and our children. It would have been nicer of the staff to put us in a room with easier access to the pool, ie, on the same wing as the pool with more room like I had booked. Images online are deceiving as our bathroom was older and there was not much ventilation in the room and no fan in the bathroom at all. When I checked back online our room which we payed $229 for was advertised for $169! I did not think it fair we payed this much for a cheaper much smaller room and thought from the start that we were in the wrong room. The lady who booked us in did not listen when I tried to say this. We would have chosen something nicer if we had known that our room was going to be so tiny. I was shattered because my sister and I planned this night just to spoil our two girls and the room was just basic and completely smaller than the one I choose.
