The beds are so comfortable. The Club level is so grand.
We can't use the swimming pool cos of the cold weather. It’s better to be a automatic heated swimming pool.
It is in a great location. My room had a lovely view.
On arriving my bedspread was dirty and had to be replaced, the laundry service was blamed. The hotel was under renovations which I was only made aware of on arrival, I checked the website to see if I had missed prior notification of this and found nothing. These renovations started earlier in the morning than stated and included drilling and banging which went on for many hours each day. Staff promptly responded to my concerns by explaining and apologising, but that is not really good enough. I generally believe that if you bring matters to staff attention directly there is a satisfactory outcome...not this time. This was clearly a situation when, had I been management I would have offered a complimentary upgrade or even a breakfast! There were other hotels nearby in this price range and despite having stayed here several times before I am reluctant to ever stay again.
Breakfast was fine, but overpriced if wanting a continental breakfast - $10 for 2 pieces of toast and a coffee!!
The bar meal steak sandwich was dry and the cut of meat poor and chewy - only negative -
Club lounge is excellent at all levels - comfort, views, food, beverages, and staff were very attentive.
Room smelt a tad stale. Glen 20 used to ‘freshen’ the room. Neither effective nor pleasant to breathe.
Breakfast world class
Room adjacent very noisy at 11.30 pm
