Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: All good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every single room is costumised with local motifs. We stayed at Meistersinger (2 people) and Blaue Agnes rooms. At the first one, you can hear the Wagner's opera in different versions and gadgets. At the other one the legend is written on the walls in a magnificent caligraphie, mostly caroline style, a touch of elegance and wisdom. Toilets are funcional, comfortable and clean. Beds are wide and comfortable, too. Last but not least, breakfast is amazing, plenty of quality details and choices, including real orange juice and French cheeses. Thanks to the very efficient and emphatic staff

Pros: This was our second stay at the hotel. It’s very cute and the rooms are decorated very interestingly. Love the breakfast buffet and the wine tasting in the evening!
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the music playing on the afternoon we arrived. The lyrics were explicit and I didn’t think that was appropriate for a family friendly hotel.

9,7 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, customer service, location
Cons: Sheets in the room were not changed daily
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Need to improve WiFi in the rooms. Weak signal, interruptions.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, spacious rooms, enough space in the bathroom - also for my own toiletries, not only for those provided by the hotel.
Cons: The lighting by the bathroom mirror could be better, but this is a problem in most hotels - design prevails over functionality... There is a noisy establishment nearby with very late closing hours - it interfered with our sleep.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean with all facilities you would want.
Cons: A little way from the town centre.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The fastest check-in in my experience - close to one minute. All necessary things (including keys, and document) were prepared. We are really satisfied.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Need to improve WiFi in the rooms. Weak signal causes interruptions.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room & bathroom were spacious and clean.
Cons: On weekends the nearby bars/clubs can be quite loud. The red light district one street away might not be to everyone's liking.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to the heart of the city. Reception staff were very helpful & friendly. Literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, even Snow White would be impressed!
Cons: Honestly, I can't think of much - very good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The personal at the front desk, both during check-in and check-out, were professional, polite and problem solving. Rooms were clean, really beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. We had the breakfast and it was extremely good in terms of quality of food and quantity. A real star!
Cons: If I really want to say something, the windows of the room couldn't protect 100% from the sound outside. But considering I was at the second floor and I managed anyway to sleep without problems, I think it's just speculating.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Always a fantastic stay. Great staff, great facilities and rooms. Pet friendly. Highly recommend it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.

7,1 Good
Pros: Beds very comfortable. Room nice...
Cons: The air conditioning was not working and it was a very unpleasant night. One had difficulty sleeping. They did give us the parking for free (18 euro) but as the room was almost 200/night, the a/c should really work!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Is this the perfect hotel? Very nearly. I requested a room with a balcony and was given one, and it turned out to be the most comfortable room that I had in any city this year. The balcony opened out onto a splendid vista of the city looking out in three directions – and yes, facing north, I could see the Altstadt including the Kaiserburg. Nothing could have been better. Also, the soundproofing in the room was perfect: during one of the four nights that I stayed here, the guests in the room next to mine held a party on their balcony and were quite loud, with recorded music and such, but as soon as I closed the balcony doors, I couldn’t hear a trace of their ruckus. Beyond that, the room was cozy and comfortable, with carpeting instead of wooden flooring (always a plus). And all of the little variables that make a stay better or worse, the Sheraton Nürnberg got right: free slippers, a free bathrobe, and small soaps (replenished daily) rather than the dreadful liquid shampoo/soap dispensers to which some hotels resort. Plus, I was allowed to check in a bit early, prior to their designated check-in time — and I consider this the true mark of a good hotel. Breakfast was bountiful and multifarious, with bacon and eggs and, in lieu of sausages, something even better: the Würstchen that are a Nürnberg trademark. The location is fantastic — close to the main train station, just steps away from the Verkehrsmuseum, and quite close to the city’s greatest museum (and altogether one of the finest in the country): the Germanisches Nationalmuseum. The staff was most friendly. I felt very much at home here, and this contributed to a very congenial four-day stay in Nürnberg.
Cons: It’s somewhat pricey (in accordance with the “You get what you pay for” mantra). A bit more desk space would have been nice. The shower is a shower/tub model rather than a spacious standalone shower compartment (the latter being preferable). And while it is certainly close to the train station, it’s not quite right beside it, so one does have to port one’s main luggage a small distance when one first checks in. But these are minor points, and have much to do with the simple fact that I selected a regular-sized room rather than a larger-sized room, so space was at a premium — but I wouldn’t have traded my balcony view for anything. This is surely the top choice for a Nürnberg stay.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: It was too close to the train station.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very Nice location and friendly staff, Nice breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Near metro and old city
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was big and beautifully clean and comfy. The breakfast was very indulgent. The spa was clean and empty and great to use.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room Size excellent! Good lightings! Comfortable Beds and best Shower Water pressure ever! Dining Room Staff very friendly and accommodating and so are the Reception Staff!
Cons: No comments!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The beds are very comfortable and on this visit it was a pleasant room.
Cons: BUT I booked a city view room and the person I spoke with said there was a view to the castle in the old city. NO VIEW! Apparently the hotel sits behind another and NONE of the rooms have such a view. What upset me was that I was traveling with someone who had never been there and I told him of the view. Only to check in and have NO view from the top floor. I am puzzled why the person I spoke with at reception prior to arrival would tell me there was a view. So this was troubling.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent!
Cons: Breakfast could open a bit earlier e.g. 6 a.m.

Pros: The hotel was very clean. The bathroom was spotless, no dirty mark on the walls in the room, no smell at all. Friendly staff. Very close to the central station and close to the city center as well (i didnt need to use public transport in the city at all). They had a nice offer: if you didnt ask for cleaning in your room one they, you were allowed to consume 2 soft drinks from the minibar that day.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, good breakfast good stay good staff, I loved it!
Cons: Nothing really. If I had to say, the Wi-Fi was out for the first night but also didn't bother me much, and it was also available the next day.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I have to admit that after the check out I was frustrated that the hotel billed us twice. However, it was our misunderstanding! The hotel staff was extremely nice and responsive and revert back to us with details and clarifications. The hotel itself is amazing and you cannot get a better option in the city. I would definitely recommend it.
Cons: All good!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excelent and the bathroom is very shiny and the room is so big
Cons: The walls
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was presented exceptionally tastefully, lots of small items to choose for full satisfaction. The single room was big enough with a big flat tv with cnn, bbc etc.
Cons: I am not fond of wall to wall carpets in the rooms.

Pros: Charmingly quaint but beautiful looking hotel close to Old Town, the wonderful Café Lucas, a Starbucks, and the Metro. Friendly staff. My (single) room was very nice and the breakfast pretty good. Tremendous value for the money. The Hotel Am Josephsplatz is now my top choice for my next trip to Nürnberg.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: everthings are very good.
Cons: nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so terrific. I regret that I don't recall the person we interacted with most frequently, but she worked at the desk most days we were there. She was always so helpful and friendly. Helped us with our luggage on departure day and wished us good travels, so very friendly! The breakfast was good although my bf missed having bacon, lol. I quite liked the effort to make the rooms period related but also having great, clean, modern bathrooms. Loved the tub! The room was very large and although we were on the street side, the noise was not a problem. The location was perfect for getting around. Easily walk-able to underground (nearby) and train station (but you wouldn't want to carry your luggage that far!).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is so central. Breakfast is good, although quality could be better. Clean rooms and nicely furnished.
Cons: There is no kettle, complimentary tea or coffee in the room.

Pros: Location and air conditioning, which was a welcome because it was unseasonably warm. very peaceful and quiet.

10,0 Excellent
Cons: too dark in the room
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean hotel in the heart of the old town.
Cons: No elevator. A little expensive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really nice. Our schedule changed and we made a mistake when re-booked the hotel, cause some trouble to their staff, but they were really nice and help us to stay. They also gave tasty homemade cake to welcome us!
Cons: No. Everything in the hotel is wonderful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Breakfast, plenty of choice and very good quality. The Breakfast room was very pleasant, and kept spotlessly clean. Very good location, just a few minutes from the market square and Castle.
Cons: Very pleased to find air con in our room, a portable unit with a large exhaust tube attached to a perspex panel in the window which was in place of a double glazed section. Thus street noise was noticeable at times.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I appreciated having an air conditioner.
Cons: The pillows were very soft. It is just personal preference but I prefer firmer pillows.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Very varied choice. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: We would have liked a coffee/tea tray in the bedroom. English hotels always provide these and they are very welcome. The tea at breakfast had a good selection but no English tea. Luckily We did bring our own. No fire instructions on the door although this was stated on the hotels A-Z information. We had to ask the receptionist about the fire exit routes.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the old town, which made it possible to walk to all sorts of interesting places. It's a nice old building with character, tastefully renovated, and the room was extremely comfy. Helpful staff.
Cons: It's a shame breakfast isn't included at that price point, or at least complimentary tea / coffee / water in the room after a long trip there - basic hospitality. To be fair it has to be said that two small locally baked cakes were waiting for us in jars on the beds, but unfortunately we couldn't eat them due to a food allergy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was truly amazing! Wrote out directions for getting to parking, helped carry bags, recommended amazing places to eat, helped us navigate some local peculiarities... Honestly, they were so kind we really felt at home with the welcome note and cake as an amazing personal touch. Rooms were very comfortable and had air con which was so appreciated during this crazy heat wave. The breakfast was delicious and again the staff very attentive. It was a truly excellent experience and good value for money.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was great! We received an individual homemade chocolate cake as a welcome treat! Parking is just across the very narrow street (the hotel is in the old town where they have cobblestone streets!) for $15EUR per night.

Pros: Very good breakfast , very nice and helpful staff, good location. The city center is easily accessible by bike and by metro.

Cons: nothing really. It was warm.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A visit to the Ulbrect's House, 100 metres from the hotel.
7,9 Good
Pros: Room was very comfortable, but a bit noisy one night. I was there in August and left the windows open for cooling Location was super! Breakfast was excellent. Front desk staff were helpful with directions. Sauna was great! Lots of restaurants nearby.
Cons: It seemed odd that one couldn't purchase a beer in the afternoon. That was probably because of some weird licensing technicality, but one of the staff members seemed a little testy when I asked for an explanation. No doubt, she thought I was testy as well. Room wasn't air-conditioned. A fan was provided, but leaving the window open allowed noise and cool evening air to enter.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: breakfast -very good selection. Ambience pleasant
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast selection was tremendous
Cons: Lack of air conditioning could be a factor if it had been any warmer
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for the old town. Right behind the Albrecht Dürer House. Hotel was exactly what I expected. No air con and it was very hot but fortunately they had provided an electric fan.Good bathroom, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Everything was good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is fantastic! Our breakfast too.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were nice and clean. My dog was allowed in the breakfast room.
Cons: Receptionist was not very helpful when we arrived on a Saturday, on a very wet day, access to hotel closed due to a festival. We managed to park 2km away and called to get the receptionist to call us a cab. She was not cooperating. In the end we walked 2km with large suitcases in the rain. No attempt was made by the hotel to warn us of street closures or arrangement to get us to as close as possible to the hotel.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Fantastic breakfast, very nice and helpful staff
7,5 Good
Pros: Cleanliness, lobby area, the location was great! And the complementary soaps were great for sensitive skin. The towels were soft as well! Only complaint is that parking should be included In the person’s stay. Paying a maximum of 10 euro for 10 hours or 1 euro for every hour up to 10 hours, is excessive. If you do decide to drive instead of walk, you will constantly pay 1 euro after you pass the complimentary 30 minute limit. Just food for thought... OHHH and a trash can and telephone e needs to be I the rooms.. and the TVs should enable to access Netflix, or at least some type of English programs other than cartoons for (6hours)! Other than that, great stuff!
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Shower was entirely too small. It was a corner shower which is why but it was really small. AC unit had to have a hose run out the window with the window open unlike the other rooms that had a connection point. Bed was two fulls so it was difficult if you’re a couple

And it was pretty hot. But otherwise a nice place. Great location right next to a gorgeous covered bridge and the water.
Cons: Bed.

9,4 Excellent
Pros: Location, quiet rooms, modern, looks new, taxi rank nearby, heart of city.
Cons: Poor Breakfast.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: It was easy to find, conveniently located on the corner of the main square. Larger room, clean sheets, and very modern lighting and bathroom. Wish we could have stayed in Nuremberg an extra day!
Cons: Breakfast was a little unclear, when we checked in they said it was included but they didn't distinguish the fact that there are 2 options in 2 different rooms. The actual "free" option we didn't learn about until our 2nd day, which is more of a "on-the-go" breakfast located behind the front desk. It had a very limited selection, like apples and some pastries and it wasn't clearly marked. The larger dining room which is right next to the elevator and has windows facing the main square however, had a full-on buffet that was delicious but we had to pay extra for it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, modern hotel. Fantastic location.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location is good
Cons: Booked a car parking and confirmed by Hotel. Finally, it is not reserved for me.

Cons: I can’t think of anything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Central location. Free coffee and pastries if you don’t want breakfast.
Cons: Front desk staff were ultra efficient but it would be nice if they did it with a smile.
7,5 Good
Pros: + great location at the Hauptmarkt, not far to the metro station Lorenzkirche, actually + view from the breakfast area over the market is just beautiful + very comfortable bed, pleasant interior lightning + friendly staff + taxi point right outside the hotel
Cons: - it is pretty loud, due to traffic and construction outside, but also due to the thin room walls inside - bedside table was too small; i had to put some stuff on the floor - breakfast was good, but not great - room door locking mechanism was not new (but the key card worked mostly)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location room very large
Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The situation is excellent, right in the centre of town, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was quiet even though right in the centre and we were there on the weekend.
Cons: Pillows weren’t very comfortable, although when we asked we were provided with additional ones.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: As they say time and time again, location, location, location. Some of the rooms actually looking out on the market square. I wasn't’ so luckily. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room was quite quiet even with new construction across the street. The room was modern but a little small. More closet space would have been appreciated. A lounge chair would have been nice but where they would have put it would have been interesting.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: In the heart of the Old Town! Fantastic staff and delicious breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We did not eat at the hotel, although it was kindly offered.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location in the Old Town was outstanding for access to most of the sites of interest and was walking distance to the train station. The staff at the desk were very helpful in providing directions, as well as conveniences such as a fan and extra converter. The room and the breakfast were nothing special but met all the requirements for a comfortable stay. WiFi quality was fine.
Cons: The room didn't have all the modern conveniences like air conditioning, but this is the tradeoff for staying in the historic district of the city.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A nice hotel in the centre of the old town, Friendly staff. Very clean. A fridge in the room has some fresh drinks, a bonus in the warm summer days.
Cons: The beds are not bad but not as soft/modern as elsewhere. Our bathroom was only separated by a sliding door, wich means that you lack some intimacy - if you need it. If you want to park your car the only option is a closeby (4-5 mn away) car park, but it costs 14 euros for 24 hours (anayway, even if you only stay only overnight). However, you can easily stop in front of the hotel to load/unload the luggage.

Pros: The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast amazing and the location excellent!
Cons: Maybe it was a coincidence but we tried to get some rest on Sunday during the day (13:30-15:00) and the noise from the vacuum machine was unbearable. It lasted more than half an hour and it wouldn't bother us but we have a 2year old who was struggling to sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, very clean and welcoming room and a great breakfast. I was completely satisfied and the location is great in the middle of the old part of town.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room had a nice size with a nice bathroom and good quality beds!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, real walking distance from the town hall. Excellent breakfast buffet. Room quite large even if with simple furniture. Overal cleanliness
Cons: More cakes and sweets in breakfast buffet
4,2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was decent but ask for coffee, they will not bring it without you asking and you would br reduced to drink some pissy brown water
Cons: Very very outdated hotel, you feel transported back in time 30 years ago. Really can't understand how it has 3 stars, as it lacks basics like a minibar/fridge or central heating and air conditioning or secure windows. In the morning, as because of lack of air conditioning I had to sleep with an open window, I got waken up at 7 by the carring of the dirty laungery devices to the truck that was parked right in front of the hotel... i never saw a hotel not to have 2 exits and use the main one also for the admin and supply work.... very noisy work very early in the morning...
8,5 Excellent
Pros: the location was amazing and the staff were very helpful! The entrance is beautiful.
Cons: I didn't find the bed very comfortable and I needed about 20 more pillows. I'm sure if I had asked, they would've given some to me but I was only there for one night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location to Old Town. Nice warm rooms in winter, excellent breakfast and service.
Cons: Noisy. Could hear talking & laghing in wee hours, then again during early morning deliveries.
