Pros: Good garden. For our room there were no stairs. Good shower.
Cons: Lighting poor in the bathroom. Sometimes towels were not in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms. Resort. Staff. Food. Facilities.
7,9 Good
Pros: nice little hotel in a remote area while we travelling from Delhi to Pushkar by motorbikes. We just spend a short night there. The rooms are big in size. The staff is very attentive. The food is okay so far. Nonetheless, the relatively low price of the hotel is absolute worth the spending.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Historical paintings. Design. Super friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
7,9 Good
Pros: Authenticity and decor and food
Cons: Staff all over the place. No one seemed to be the manager on duty . No one bought loo paper when we called to ask! Girls from the spa need more training.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible property. The nicest renovated Haveli we saw in all of Mandawa. Has a pool and spa on site. Also has a mini museum telling the story of Havelis and of this particular one. Also very close to Mandawa — just a 10 minute bus ride. But what made it stand out was the service. The workers are incredibly kind and attentive. They also speak very good English which helped us a lot. I would rate this as the best hotel in the Mandawa area, better than Mandawa Palace.
7,1 Good
Pros: Staff was wonderful.
Cons: It was rather far.
7,0 Good
Pros: Beautiful painted old haveli! Well decorated rooms. It’s interesting to live in an old haveli! It s magical to feel the culture of that place! Nice greetings on check-in! The staff tries to be so friendly. At check-out I said that I was hungry. They gave me bananas and a pie with nuts (guys, I'm allergic to nuts! It would be nice to ask your guests what they can eat!) They provided a room to our driver. Thanks for that!
Cons: The room has a very steep stairs to the bathroom. At first it seems to be an interesting part of design but after some time you feel unhappy to go upstairs again and again. The building is being renovated. Because of this there was a smell and noise from the early morning. No one warned in advance! In the evening I asked what about your breakfast. The man said that they have everything, you will like it. Open your eyes! You have so disgusting breakfast! Limited selection of poor quality food. Dirty dishes lie with clean ones. The chef constantly sneezed at food. We stayed hungry and a little bit anger about that. The hotel is located a little bit far from the city. We had to leave our clothes in a suitcase because there is no place to put in the room! Electricity problems! Turned off several times in the evening! Very dirty towels! Cheap toiletry!

7,0 Good
Pros: The rooms are very nice decorated. People are very nice breakfast is oke
Cons: They didnt clean the room and the beds are very hard
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location of hotel is very close to all the havelis. The artwork inside the room and on the outside were so beautifully done. I could spend hours admiring all the work.
Cons: Unfortunately it wasn't really clean, they have a piece of carpet put inside the tub which was very dirty underneath. The room wasn't clean properly. We ordered breakfast which was ok but the coffee we ordered was in a very unclean cup.
6,3 Good
Pros: The rooms painted decoration was spectacular! ...made quite an impact when we first arrived. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We were grateful for the chips and drink on our arrival, after a long drive.
Cons: The room and bathroom felt dirty...'clean' sheets may have been, but were grey and unappealing. Cushions on floor mattress, ripped, grubby / tatty. Pillows extraordinarily hard. Nowhere in our room to boil water for hot drink. The bath bottom was pitted/damaged / soft and spongy when stood on....felt very unsafe. No water from any bathroom taps for much of stay but toilet did flush ok. No hot water came at all. We did not advise manager. Staying one night only. Just rode it out.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A very clean hotel set in an interesting building. Staff are very friendly and helpful, excellent English is spoken. A great Breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable stay with lovely staff, who looked after us extremely well. The restaurant serves great food - we ended up eating there every night except one. There's a lovely courtyard which is perfect for eating and relaxing in, and the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk to town, so it's quiet but very accessible. The paintings in the rooms are unreal, we felt like we were sleeping in a mini art gallery. They also allocated us a small room on our last day while we were waiting for an evening bus, which was very welcome.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful family run hotel outside the city with good conveniencies in an old style mud building . Simple but nice clean bedrooms & bathrooms . Very peaceful .
Cons: Quite far away from the city, railway and bus stations.
7,5 Good
Pros: the karaoke singing manager is great
Cons: it appears to be a bit run-down
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Painted walls everywhere
Cons: Hindiglish accent
Hotel Mandawa Haveli - Mandāwa - Bedroom
6
8,0 Excellent (60 reviews)
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Ambience historic decor and staff attention to detail
Cons: Breakfast could be improved on
7,1 Good
Pros: The hotel is quite nice, lovely murals and the real sense of an old haveli, a small palace. It has crooked hallways and staircases and a roof top where food will be served. The staff are helpful and the rooms are interesting and plush with big beds and places to lounge around and feel like a local princeling. However, there is a cleanliness problem, a lot of dirt in corners and stair cases. And travelling in December-January can be very cold. We looked into other hotels in the area and they were nicer. Also, the cost of the room was much higher than quoted on Booking.com. On balance, I would recommend other hotels in Mandawa before this one.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Property is OK nothing extra ordinary.
Cons: Expensive for the price they charge. Rooms did not have enough lights. No plug point to charge phone. Bathroom shower area filled with water. No iron on premise.
6,2 Good
Pros: VERY beautiful. Comfortable stay.
Cons: Seems a bit "greedy" and locals told me that was generous. VERY OVERPRICED. Minor: at this price there should be real coffee! Staff seems mediocre. A couple next to me at dinner waited a VERY long time for their meal and then it was cold. Consider alternatives to touristy Mandawa. That's what I learned from traveling around Shakawati and talking to locals. Mandawi is the most touristy. Nawalgarh is a much better base. (Consider Tourist Pension; I had a good experience there.) Also consider Rāmgarh and Narayan Niwas castle for a very special experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I really Iike all the staff, very kind and ready to help us on everything we need

Hotel Chobdar Haveli - Mandāwa - Building

9,7 Excellent (118 reviews)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I really liked this place, it was tasteful and attractive. The owner was helpful, pleasant and professional. We had dinner there both nights and it was superb. Lots of fantastic organic vegetables well prepared.
Cons: Nothing really, the pillows! I brought my own! I'm not sure that they cleaned the room but I think it may be because we didn't leave the key. It wasn't a problem anyway.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The manager and waiter were very gracious and polite. The whole property was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated in understated Rajasthani style. Dinner could be provided if requested and it was tasty and varied from night to night. The position was good as it was close to the very decorated Havelis. The bed was wide and comfortable and the room was a consistent temperature. Great hot shower.
Cons: Nothing. It was great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with all facilities. Good storage options and huge bathroom. All spotlessly clean. Every day we were welcomed as if we are family. Fresh Chai was always available and served with a smile. Delicious home cooked vegetarian dinner is available. The hotel and room were very quiet and we had a relaxing 3 night stay. The owner and staff were all exceptionally friendly. The easiest check in and check out on all our trip.
Cons: All was perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with very nice staff. They do their best to make you feel comfortable. Very good dinner also.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean and well decorated. Ever though it's not as impressive as other havelis, this is definitely the place to stay. Very calm and relaxing. The owner is really helpful and takes care of every detail to make your stay memorable.
Cons: Nothing! This place is perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Seriously good service, beautiful place and divine food. Simply fantastic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room in this old haveli was beautifully decorated! The staff was attentive but not annoying as often in India! The only slight objection was the breakfast where the selection was somewhat limited - but is was quite good. In summary, it was one of the two best stays during our 3 week journey!
Cons: nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Mandawa is a bit of a backwater compared to other places on a whistle stop tour of Rajasthan. Things are much more basic here. The Haveli is wonderful. The manager is great. The room was huge, with a big bathroom with double bath. Lovely outdoor seating area. I suspect we were given the best room. The breakfast was good, and you should try the evening meal if you get the chance. There isn’t any fine dining in the village. Monica’s on the way to the village is about the best, with some very good food.
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, full of charm and atmosphere, in a great location just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Mandawa. Very good value for money. Excellent communication in advance of my stay and very helpful with advising on and booking transport. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast, excellent dinner. All in all, very relaxing. Thank you!

Hotel Radhika Haveli, Mandawa - Mandāwa - Bedroom

9,1 Excellent (518 reviews)
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms and court yard; very helpful with organizing a guide.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great ambiance and excellent staff
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Radhika Haveli is located in a stunning old building, beautifully and tastefully restored. The wall paintings are traditional so guests feel they are transported back to the heyday of the ancient havelis of Mandawa. Rooms are large but cosy, clean and well kept. Drinking tea in the gorgeous central courtyard is a real pleasure!
Cons: The restaurant at Radhika Haveli is a very pleasant room. However we didn’t rate the food at either dinner or breakfast which was casually served by a waiter who needed to put a clean shirt on.
7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent value. Beautiful room in good close-in location. Hotel provided a knowledgeable English-speaking guide to show us around the city (several havelis, water wells, etc.) No charge for guide, except a tip. Breakfast was sufficient; remember to ask for curd(yogurt), which is available but was not provided until we asked.
Cons: Dogs barking at night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Suite was very nice and comfortable. We were very happy about the heater (cold nights in December) and the continuous availability of hot water/shower. Breakfast (with indian option) was very good.
Cons: Nothing
6,0 Good
Pros: Nice restored haveli with patio inside: the room and bathroom quite big. Bed confortable and good breakfast. Good wifi. Mandawa is small but worth a visit as well as Fatepur, the village before Mandawa, also very nice havelis but without hotel facilities
Cons: At the check in the staff try to give us another room and not the suite we booked. The staff and the people around and inside the hotel (tourist guidesand other guys) are too pushing, you cannot stay quiet and enjoy the place alone. This is very upsetting to me. The room in december despite the small heater is cold and the bathroom was really cold considering the hot water was in poor quantity.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Flexible and accommodating
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Mandawa is a small village. So no matter where you stay, you will be within walking distance of all the popular havelis. Radhika Haveli is located at walking distance from Castle Mandawa. The Haveli has been beautifully and painstakingly decorated in the traditional Shekawati style. While keeping the traditional look, they have made all the rooms and bathrooms meet modern standards. The property is cleanly maintained. Above all, the service was attentive. They made us feel truly welcome and at home. They also have accommodation and food facility for drivers which was an unexpected plus. Small touches like ensuring there were mosquito repellents in both the bedroom and bathroom that were turned on before we got the room showed their attention to detail. We ate at their Gwala restaurant and the food was good. The breakfast they provided was hearty and provided us a solid start for our day. Overall we would highly recommend staying at Radhika Haveli if you are visiting Mandawa.
