7,1 Good
Pros: The staff were wonderful.
Cons: We have stayed at your location before and this time we were booked in an ADA room. I was really really upset that our bath tub was not as it was before. No other rooms were available but I was really looking forward to the tub in the rooms we had previously stayed in.

Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. We were offered complimentary use of snorkle equipment, beachchairs, towels, umbrellas, sunblock (!) and leisure books. For night we checked out two DVDs (no rental charge) and were given a free bag of microwave popcorn to enjoy with our films!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Paintings, welcoming staff, sweet potato pie breakfast, gardens
Cons: Close to road and was occasionally noisy
6,8 Good
Pros: We liked the location to the beach, and the value for the room. There are restaurants and shopping nearby.
Cons: It took a long time to get luke warm water for the shower, the rooms are small, but you can't beat the value of the rooms.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The personable service of the staff and the location near a swimming beach and some good restaurants. The nice touch of having coffee, fruit, small snacks and candy treats throughout the day. They also have towels, beach chairs and other accessories for the beach available for no cost.Twice during the week the owner made a delicious sweet potato pie with fruit on top. If you're looking for a small boutique inn and not a major change give Garden Island Inn a serious look.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find but once we did the location was convenient to shopping, groceries, restaurants and getting to both parts of the island.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hotel - clean and cozy rooms. Great pool. Queen size sofa bed at no cost in the room for kids. We would stay there again. Parking cost included in resort fee - some hotels charge $30 per day for parking.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice elegant hotel.
Cons: The room was very far from the lobby. I’m handicapped so it was sometimes difficult to walk so far. I should have asked for a closer room.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location near airport and on the beach was great as were the eating options.
Cons: Hotel is a little dated and the fitness area is under equipped.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: I loved the breakfast buffet. I loved the proximity to restaurants and the friendly staff.
Cons: The first night we got there there was hair in our tub and hair in our bed and sock lint on the sheets . I stripped the bed and asked for new bedding when housekeeping came the next day. They gave us clean sheets after I asked and the tub was cleaned .
1,0 Poor
Cons: Not worth the price. Poor customer service.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful environment good security
Cons: Parking crowded by local near beach access
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beachfront, clean and staffs were very nice and accommodating.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location close to the airport was perfect for my one night stay.
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location and Ambiance.
Cons: Poorly maintained in room A/C unit which was un-necessarily loud.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The quietness of the hotel and how clean they keep everything even with so many people staying there.
Cons: After checking out and looking over my bill I found they charged us for internet every day which was supposed to be included in the resort fee we pay per day. I am still waiting for the refund.
7,0 Good
Pros: easy in and out, great valet staff
Cons: The guy who cleans the pool is rude. Yelled at my kid for leaning on a handicap chair. Had to tell him to shut his pie hole. Also, the hot tubs were so overly chlorinated and full of chemicals that your eyes burned and you choke on the fumes
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and facilities were amazing.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: When we requesting housekeeping, all they did was put clean towels and empty trash. They didnt even sweep the bathroom floor. Kind of disappointing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was updated and clean. I liked that there were several restaurants nearby within walking distance as well as an ABC store and how close to the airport the hotel was.
Cons: The room I got had a Murphy bed which pulled out of the wall. I wouldn't choose that.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: There was no room available for booked room type. Front desk was unwilling to accommodate.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late in the evening and they still looked after us very well.
Cons: I did not have cash when I arrived and the valet looked at me and was disappointed I did not have a chance to for him.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel Is looks amazing, from the grand open entrance, to the beautiful center garden, to the very large round pool, to the location near the beach. We enjoyed ourselves very much during our stay. perfect view if you have ocean view, we would recommend it very highly!
Cons: We booked a queen studio, which came with a pullout bed. And although it was a decent bed, we expected a regular bed. Also we noticed there are very few shadow spots or umbrellas near the pool, which results in people putting down towels to claim a bed even though they’re not there. It is stated that they will be removed after 60 minutes, that just isn’t true. You can rent a shaded cabana (if available), but they’re very expensive (USD 70 per day).
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The shampoo!
Cons: Had to pay for coffee. Late checkout was not available for us but 2 doors down got it
6,7 Good
Pros: Activities were good / beach / not crowded
Cons: Staff at check in were not overly helpful / had two reservations and wanted to stay in same room, but they would not let us b/c not same type - but they charged me quiet a bit ($300+) for the 2nd room , the hotel was not crowded at all, so I think they should have been more flexible.
6,7 Good
Pros: Amazing grounds with a magical botanical garden and koi pond, gigantic pool, a great view of the pool area and the sea. Nice kid's pool with a slide. Close to the shops and restaurants. Beachfront. Nice bar by the pool. Beautiful art gallery. Right next to the airport and handy to have the shuttle included. Golf next to the hotel. Big room, full-size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Handy to have self-service laundry facilities on several floors. Super comfortable beds and amazing linen. Nice decor. Lots of storage. Great customer service from Christina Medeiros at the Lobby and some of the Bell desk staff. Good business center. Great gym facilities, towel, water and fruit included. Housekeeping ladies were very nice. Day manager John was helpful when we had a problem in the apartment. BBQ facilities on site. Lots of places to relax within the grounds. Good choice of places to eat within the grounds or nearby. The TV in our room stated that check out was at 12 pm but night manager and lobby staff didn't want to honor that and even implied that I was lying about it. Genea Nish even asked me (through a staff member) to send her an email with the photo that I took stating this, which I did. Never got a reply or apologize for their mistake. Genea, who was the night manager, never even bothered to come out to the front desk to speak directly with me. Not only about the check out time but also about how they forgot to put the promised credit on my account. They had me waiting a long time at night, made me feel uncomfortable and like I was making things up until they decided to contact the day manager who confirmed that all I was saying was correct. Also, they have a sign at the lobby saying that you can earn points for every day that you don't utilize the housekeeping service.
Cons: We had an infestation of red ants during our 3 first days. They were everywhere in both connected rooms, they got inside every bag and you couldn't leave anything in the tables as they were getting on all our stuff. The ants were already there when we arrived and we let the housekeeping team know from the first day. A male staff member came and sprayed with a household insecticide for spiders/cockroaches which had a very strong smell. He said to wait until the next day to see what happens. The ants were still pretty much everywhere the next day. We went to speak with the day manager John who arranged for a pest control staff to come and for a deep clean to be done to the property the following day. John said that he was going to credit a certain amount to our account for the inconvenience. The pest control guy put some gel bait around both apartments which took until the following day to take effect but only in one of the apartments. Even after housekeeping did a deep clean there were still ants present in the kitchenette. Very inconvenient for us as we put a lot of value on the cleanliness of the places we stay. The disappointment was bigger because we had canceled a previous booking in another hotel nearby (which cost half of the price) because we read several bad reviews mentioning the presence of bugs in the rooms and the Marriott was the only hotel we found that apparently didn't have that problem. Value for money was very bad as we had exactly the problem we were trying to avoid and also all the bars and restaurants within the hotel were very expensive. Price of breakfast is extremely high. Customer service is not uniform, some staff members were nice but others were all the opposite. Genea Nishi (Night manager) and a couple of other members of the staff at the front desk that served me the night before we left when I tried to check out weren't helpful. I was expecting great service at this price range. No attention to detail.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Basically everything
Cons: 25.00 a day to PARK. The only thing that was absolutely ridiculous to me.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect. On the beach and very picturet.
Cons: Bathroom was very small.
7,0 Good
Pros: The resort facilities are amazing. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The fitness centre is fantastic!
Cons: Over priced in comparison to Australian standards. Lots of cooking utensils but minimal places to cook (only microwave in the room). Bed was an average comfort and pillows were below average. A fold up wall bed for the price is rich.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The setting was so lush and beautifully landscaped. Great restaurants were just a short walk away as well as shopping. Very quick trip to the airport. I enjoyed the roosters and chickens so much and felt they added a whimsical touch! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and courteous and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay.
Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Our room had recently been remodeled so everything was new and clean.
6,3 Good
Pros: View
Cons: Walls marked up. Needs fresh paint. Carpet torn in some areas. Furniture old. Bed covers old with black marks and pulls.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent, on the shoreline with gorgeous sunrises, walking distance to shops in Kapaa, and halfway to attractions in the north and south of the island. Parking was also good. The continental breakfast was small in selection but really good banana bread. The hotel staff were mostly friendly (some much more than others). Cleaning staff did an excellent job; our room was always in top shape upon our return.
Cons: We had a ground floor lanai room. The furniture was decent but old and used. We also had not realised that there was a public pathway along the shoreline in front of the hotel, which meant that we often closed our shutters for privacy. We asked to change rooms but the hotel was fully booked. I would definitely recommend an upper floor room. The higher the better.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: View of the beach from my bed! And great location. And free bikes and other amenities.
Cons: Not much.
3,1 Mediocre
Pros: The grounds fronting the ocean were nice but the wild chickens were a nuisance.
Cons: The Economy room was terrible. The balcony fronted on to an alley with 2 big garbage dumpster in it right below our balcony. The shower curtain rod was rusting away. The carpeting was dirty. There were no chairs to use in the room and only one bedside table.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Right on the beach
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!!
6,7 Good
Pros: Excellent staff - very accommodating. Clean. Great banana bread for breakfast!
Cons: Price for quality didn’t match. Too high priced. The hotel is a bit dated. Bikes, even though offered we’re old.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location! (next to beach, market and town!), Comfort, amenities, Staff, service, in-house restaurant (great food)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Shops and restaurants are close to the resort. It's only 7-10 miles from Lihue airport.
Cons: Everything was good.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The room was big and comfy and we loved having a kitchen. The pool waterfall was nice and the grounds were very pretty. Having a washer and dryer was amazing! Loved the kiddie pool and the sand pit. Kept our two year old very entertained.
Cons: The pressure of buying a time share. That was extremely irritating. Also this hotel has no beach access and it’s next to a beach you cant swim in. That was very disappointing. There are no swim up bars or wait staff to bring you drinks. And the hot tub was way too small for how many people were trying to get in it.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The grounds of the hotel were well kept
Cons: There were bugs in hotel bathroom and kitchen and the air conditioner leaked water all over the floor a few times. Hotel took care of it but did not offer anything for the trouble of these issues
6,7 Good
Pros: The location is great, really nearby to the airport and all the spots with car.
Cons: The guests stayed upstairs were very noisy, we could hear them walking and stepping the floor.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything
Cons: Only that we couldn't stay longer!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect spot for a family
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The unit was a part of a time-share building. As such, the actual unit was very nice and comfortable—a living room, a well-equipped kitchen and dining area combination, a king-sized bedroom, a laundry with washer and dryer, and a two-room bathroom. Also, there was a long balcony across the unit with ocean views and furniture for sitting out there.
Cons: NO ELEVATORS!! And our unit was on the third floor. Also, the management pressed us on going to a time-share 90-minute presentation!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Central location, full kitchen, washer/dryer and amazing restaurant onsite.
Cons: Hard pitch and aggressive sales tactics to attend a meeting for the time shares. It was unsettling since we had barely been on the island for an hour. No means no.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. The staff was very accommodating and always very friendly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous value for the cost. Smack dab on the beach!

Cons: ???
7,0 Good
Pros: Close to shopping and had enough refrigerator space to accommodate grocers, and a microwave.
Cons: TV no work. Ocean view was a joke, should be partial to no ocean view--this was totally garden view people. water was not drinkable, so coffee stank. AC was so-so. For the price, Plantation Hale is WAY BETTER.

Cons: We followed the rules about putting towels to be replaced in the tub, however it appeared that the towels were all replaced every day regardless of our wishes. Also, I long for paper & plastic recycling options.

Pros: I liked that the hotel was located right on the beach which was beautiful
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else- location, pools and Jacuzzi, restaurant, live music on weekends, friendly staff
Cons: No microwave oven in the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice restaurant on the beach.
Cons: Online this hotel list airport shuttle under its amenities. This is false, there is no shuttle provided, we had to hire an Uber driver to get to this hotel from the airport. (I actually picked this hotel because I believed it provided a shuttle)
7,5 Good
Pros: Location on the beach and the Lava Lava Beach Club being next to it. Also liked the fire pits they had. The room itself seemed quite dated but clean.
Cons: Getting out of or into this resort is very difficult due to the traffic. There are no alternative routes. We missed the road going to the resort because it looks like a residential road - it took about an hour to turn around and get back to the entrance. This is a whole island issue but particularly affects this resort.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent variety, quality, and service from Food + Beverage Dept.
Cons: Dated room and small bath.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant had very good food and was right on the beach with a wonderful view of the ocean. There was free valet parking. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice.
Cons: None
7,0 Good
Pros: I really liked the way this hotel is located (close to the ocean), and that it was newly renovated. The cleaning services were great, and the Lava lava Club at the hotel provided a happy atmosphere in the evenings.
Cons: We were a placed into a "no view" room, (beware: rooms 1001 and 1002 are like that), or rather one that all the people in the hotel were passing by toward the parking lot. We were supposed to get a nice "garden view" room, for which we paid extra, and 5 months in advance! When I asked the receptionist to give us a different room, they refused, even though there were plenty empty rooms next to ours during our entire stay! Therefore, we had to have the curtain on at all times, and the room was quite dark, instead of having the promised "garden view". Really disappointed! Also, the beach can't be used to swimming, because the shore is very rocky and windy, plus there were lots of logs and debris scattered on the beach. Still, one can take a nice walk there.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is outstanding, warm and helpful.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the access to the onsite restaurant and view of the beach from our room.
Cons: I did not like that the beach was not really swimable. We also had ants in our room which was pretty disgusting. Staff did come and clean it up but it was pretty nasty.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lava Lava Bar/restaurant was fun and relaxing. Nice Hawaiian Hospitality.
Cons: I would have liked an option of hot tea or coffee in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and good food
Cons: No

Cons: Toilet is not clean on the 2nd night and no refill for drinking water

Cons: It was a Saturday night and there was no live entertainment, pool restaurant bar was closed very early! Food and drinks were not good. Spent a lot on them and didn’t eat or drink them.
5,0 Okay
Cons: Small rooms, a little stale smelling. This resort is what I would call a tourist trap. Not for me. Maybe nice for others. The swimming pools and landscaping were nice at least.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and the outdoor pools. We also enjoyed the outdoor dining.
Cons: Even though we enjoyed the outdoor dining the birds became a little to friendly eating my food when I left the table unattended. I felt the restaurant service staff wasn’t very friendly and the front desk seemed, overworked and unwilling to help.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great pools and outside fun area.
Cons: Restaurant and other food stuffs was very expensive and not great.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: All the facilities you would want in a medium sized resort. Nice pools and hot tubs. Beach is very close, but has a very sharp shore break, so not the safest for swimming in moderate surf. Excellent staff, easy self parking. Beautifully maintained grounds. For this side of the island, one of the best choices for the price.
Cons: Only things beyond the control of the facility. Like traffic and weather! Everything else was as expected. Recommended for this side of the island.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Pool is beautiful. Very helpful staff. Free Wi-Fi. Ample parking. Lovely landscaping. Comfortable bed. Excellent cocktails in the bar!
Cons: Bar food is only so-so. No fan in bathroom, which would be nice after a shower since it's already so humid there
5,0 Okay

7,0 Good
Pros: Located near airport.
Cons: Pillows were nasty.

Pros: Great location, nice room.
Cons: Carpet smelled like a locker room. Location of room allowed for balcony at right angles to have clear view into room. Privacy diminished.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, clean room. Friendly staff.
Cons: Facilities/building in some disrepair but they were doing construction so hopefully that will be remedied
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. The amenities were perfect even though it rained the whole time. The front office manager, Brian, was super. He gave us a lot of good tips as we headed out each day. Overall, we loved the ISO!
Cons: The weather. But you can't fix mother nature!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: You can’t beat the location, right on the water
Cons: A bit quiet, not a lot of people
7,5 Good
Pros: The Location is very nice.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit spartan. The Room is missing a Safe and a table. Roomservice did not sow up the first day. After reminding and sheduling it worked the other days.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of our hotel, room & parking was excellent for us. Our room was very clean & housekeeping staff was excellent in its daily attendance. Check in & check out staff was very gracious, warm, & helpful. Grounds is attractive, neat, & clean.
Cons: Though we had a 1st floor room, with a wheelchaired Aunt, our bathroom was challenging for her use. It was not ADA adjusted.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming upon arrival.

5,0 Okay
Pros: We really appreciated the early check in but due to the industrial location and outdated rooms, we would probably rather spend a bit more money for a different hotel.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quiet location. Kids loved seeing roosters, peacocks, and cats wander through the property. Comfortable accommodations. Nice breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and exceptionally clean. Enjoyed the private verandah off our room with beautiful plantings creating privacy. Lovely pool area and continental breakfast. Staff were very attentive and because our room was ready, they were kind enough to let us in much earlier. They have SPECIAL SPECIAL rates for all of Kauau's activities. You'll enjoy this boutique hotel. We'll certainly be back.
Cons: Towels for pool were too small and worn. Fluffy towels are good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very unique, quaint hotel. Clean room, very friendly staff. It was nice that there were washers/dryers on site for laundry
Cons: Slightly off the beaten path, if you care about that (I don't). A/C unit was very loud. I had to shut it off, because it kept waking me up
7,0 Good
Pros: The view out the back window of the mountain ridge surrounding the bay was outstanding. The property itself was reasonably well maintained and clean, though it very much shows its age. We chose to skip the continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: Check in time is listed as 3:00 PM. We arrived at 4:00, and the room was not ready. At 4:45, when the room was still not cleaned, we had to leave for our dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. We had expected to be able to unload our luggage and freshen up before dinner. The staff offered to let us store our bags in the office, but we still could not enter the room. The location seems unusual. The hotel is the only property of its type in an otherwise residential neighborhood, very close to the port that services the Coast Guard and cruise ships. There is nothing within walking distance other than the harbor. The area has a very industrial feel.
6,8 Good
Pros: Room was nicely appointed with comfortable bed. Parking was very convenient and the young man who checked us in was very nice.
Cons: AC was so loud that it was impossible to get a good night sleep, even the neighbors AC could be heard in our room. A little better cleaning wouldn't hurt either. My wife dropped an earring and found quite a bit of dust and a sock under the bed.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, friendly staff, beautiful view of the mountains.
Cons: Not near the ocean.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the surrounding and views
Cons: More lights at night or Censored lights to turn on for walking.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Low key relaxed setting in lush gardens. This old style Kauai hotel has air conditioning, large flat screen TV, good shower, local pets to entertain you, continental breakfast and very accommodating staff. We stayed for one night but could have stayed longer.
1,0 Poor
Pros: location
Cons: they have bed bugs. bitten over 50 times in hotel over 2-week period.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of space in the room, towels were very fluffy, and check in staff was very friendly.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious and facilities are well kept. The included continental breakfast is great value along with a 24/7 coffee pod machine. Highly recommend!
Cons: Slightly out of the way, but hardly effects transit time. Makes it quieter as well which is a bonus.

Pros: Overall great facilities
Cons: Didn't like having balance and security bond put on hold. Very difficult to get money released when needed.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the resort was spot on. Room was good and even with the grounds crew going by every morning, I enjoyed coffee outside our ground floor room. Restraunt was good, pool nice and great access to the ocean.
Cons: Nothing really. We would stay here again.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Decent room
Cons: Not operated like a hotel. Mandatory exorbitant cleaning fee, yet no housekeeping service included (available at even more outrageous pricing). Daily resort fees. The one restaurant is understaffed, overpriced mediocre food. Pool areas dirty and crowded.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Enclosed, clean, beautiful landscaping, on the beach, fantastic pool & hot tubs, grills by the pool!!!
Cons: Not a thing!!!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, staff is helpful and friendly. It’s near to everything, food, adventure, beaches, golf. The pool is beautiful and wasn’t ever overly crowded. The oasis is a great place to have a drink and some dinner.
Cons: I know it’s a condo but if you’re there for over a week, it seems like there should be clean towels and sheets after a week. I didn’t mind the resort and cleaning fee but would have appreciated a change just once after a week.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Would highly recommend!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic ocean view
Cons: Traffic was difficult at times and other drivers didn't yield as I would have expected.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pool grounds were fantastic, we all enjoyed using the pools and even the odd slide down your water slide. We also took the opportunity to rent bikes through the spa and enjoyed a great ride along the sea wall.
Cons: No complaints.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: This resort was the perfect place for my and my family to stay. We had a toddler and infant with us and it was just right for them. The pool was great with the walk in sand kids area and the condo had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. The grocery store was walking distance and we went to a delicious restaurant called kenji burger right next to the resort, also walking distance, that we really enjoyed. Overall it was a great place to stay.
Cons: I know this place also has condos people have shares of which makes it difficult to offer this but it would have been nice to have a daily cleaning service for fresh towels and restock of other items. You pay a cleaning fee but it’s only for when you leave so you don’t really benefit from it. It’s nice to have a washer and dryer but I do like having the room cleaned at least every other day would be nice.
7,5 Good
Cons: Sofabed - very hard to put back up.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The condo was beautiful, it had everything we needed, the pool was amazing and it was in a great location.
Cons: The cost

Cons: Internet was out most of day, due to storm per Spectrum customer service. On last day, found the hidden stash of extra towels, that information would of been beneficial on our arrival.

Pros: Easily accessible. Ample parking. Comfortable and quiet
Cons: Ice machine only located in one area.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Location Price
Cons: Only one bathroom in a unit that could sleep six. Only one car parking permit allowed. No elevator available, had to haul lots of luggage up the steps.
7,1 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly, overall location is convenient to Kapaa, but very close to the main road. Large unit with kitchen and comfortable living room and large bedroom.
Cons: Location is very close to the main road, and you have to run the AC to drown out the road noise. No way to keep the windows open at night due to road noise. Kitchen is fully stocked, but appliances are old. Shower/Tub is pretty dated.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable suite in a good location. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Excellent Wi-Fi and new TVs. This isn't a 5 star stay, but if you are looking for something clean and comfortable this is your place. We received fresh towels and garbage service daily. Staff was very friendly. Lots of parking available for your vehicle.
Cons: An older building, not completed renovated. Our stove looked like it was from the 70s, but everything worked fine. Our unit was located on the second floor which only had access by stairs. These stairs may be troublesome for older travellers. Our A/C was quite noisy so we turned it off at night.

Cons: Dirty sheets, no soda pop machine, desk closes at 9 pm. Hoses and water on sidewalk at dark.
7,0 Good
Pros: This is a solid place to stay if you're getting off a long flight from the continental US and want to sleep upon arrival in Lihue. Its within easy walking distance of some breakfast spots and bars. Staff is friendly.
Cons: The bathrooms are quite small. Thin walls and windows. You can easily hear your neighbors and the parking lot.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The Wi-Fi didn't work consistently inside the room. We had to go outside to connect.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: How friendly and informative staff was. Accomidating our late flight they were most helpful. Hotel is close to airport so we could grab our rental car by uber the next day.
Cons: Rooms were quite tiny but they did the trick for the night.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Location is centrally located. It has potential if the owners really cared. It was small as in number of rooms and quiet. Price was good. If you stay here come prepared. There are few conveniences. Bring a long charger cord for your phone and plug. No USB ports anywhere.
Cons: Everything was outdated. There were roaches in the bathroom. The cups in the room were dirty and even when they were left in the sink they just put them back still dirty. No phone in the room so if you needed anything from the front desk you had to go there. Pillows were flat and old. Bedding was possibly from goodwill. There was mold on the signs- do not disturb, linen changed time, towel replacement. There were no hair dryer, beach towels (it’s an island) in room. ice chest for beach, no tv service just 4 channels not even basic, no internet in the rooms, fridge was dirty and had roaches in it. Lamp had tape to keep the switch in place which is a safety hazard, ac unit was so covered in mold and old. Knobs in shower did not work. Poor room layout. Outlets were on baseboard. Not even a clock in the room. If someone would put some work into the place, clean it up and put in basic hotel items it could be a gem of a place.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Absolutely nothing good to say!!!!!
Cons: Tiny room, old & dingy, Scary, dark warehouse location. No closet - not even a hook for clothes! Office closes at nite so no one to ask for help or info. No coke machine. Terrible parking. This place is not even a 1 star.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and flexible. We came in on a late-night flight but were still able to communicate with the staff and get into our room with no issues. The next morning, they were able to watch our bags while we got some food even though we were already checked out. Also, they had chocolate at the front desk!
Cons: The price was a little more than I would have preferred, however, there were no other more inexpensive options.
6,0 Good
Cons: The shower was to small
6,0 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff dealing with late check in and on checkout
Cons: Hardest most uncomfortable bed. Coffee cups but no way to make coffee. Tiny room and tiny bathroom. Teeny tiny tv.
4,0 Okay
Pros: We stayed one night between getting in late and picking up the rental car. The bed was comfy but the room was VERY small and needs some attention to detail with cleaning. The light switches and door handles were pretty grungy. Staff were great.

Pros: Bonus points for the outstanding pool to which the property had access. Kitchen was well equipped, and there was actually cable TV; ground floor apartment, you could step right outside on the grass.
Cons: The property caretaker felt the need to admonish us for driving "too fast" in and out of the property. And it happened to be in our last day, that left a little bit of bad taste: this is not exactly the secluded spot in heaven, there is driving outside the gate, construction, and trash pick-up noises. he should slow down being overzealous.

Pros: Great location !!! Condo well stocked !!!
Cons: No beach chairs provided

Pros: I liked that they served an excellent breakfast, and an excellent lunch. The locals have been going there forever to eat, so you know the food is good. Super busy place. Expect to wait a bit for a table. Also, the food is super affordable if you're on a budget.
Cons: I was taken aback when I first walked into the room, because it was so bare. Then, I realized that it had a bed, shower, tv, and free WiFi!, and I wasn't going to be in the room very much.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Room was spacious but no amenities in the room
Cons: The room is bleak, with painted breeze blocks and no real windows it felt like a prison cell. No fridge in the room. When we arrived the bathroom had an infestation of small flea like insects. I asked for the bathroom to be spayed which was done and they didn't appear again, but they were biting and I got bitten.

Pros: View
Cons: Walls marked up. Needs fresh paint. Carpet torn in some areas. Furniture old. Bed covers old with black marks and pulls.

Pros: Right on the beach

Pros: Excellent staff - very accommodating. Clean. Great banana bread for breakfast!

Pros: Loved the lush, beautiful gardens”must be spectacular and fragrant, when the plumeria is in bloom! We also loved the proximity to the beach and the gorgeous beach itself. The staff couldn''t be nicer, including the activities coordinator so helpful!
Cons: We followed the rules about putting towels to be replaced in the tub, however it appeared that the towels were all replaced every day regardless of our wishes. Also, I long for paper & plastic recycling options.
