7,1 Good
Pros: The staff were wonderful.
Cons: We have stayed at your location before and this time we were booked in an ADA room. I was really really upset that our bath tub was not as it was before. No other rooms were available but I was really looking forward to the tub in the rooms we had previously stayed in.

Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. We were offered complimentary use of snorkle equipment, beachchairs, towels, umbrellas, sunblock (!) and leisure books. For night we checked out two DVDs (no rental charge) and were given a free bag of microwave popcorn to enjoy with our films!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Paintings, welcoming staff, sweet potato pie breakfast, gardens
Cons: Close to road and was occasionally noisy
6,8 Good
Pros: We liked the location to the beach, and the value for the room. There are restaurants and shopping nearby.
Cons: It took a long time to get luke warm water for the shower, the rooms are small, but you can't beat the value of the rooms.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The personable service of the staff and the location near a swimming beach and some good restaurants. The nice touch of having coffee, fruit, small snacks and candy treats throughout the day. They also have towels, beach chairs and other accessories for the beach available for no cost.Twice during the week the owner made a delicious sweet potato pie with fruit on top. If you're looking for a small boutique inn and not a major change give Garden Island Inn a serious look.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find but once we did the location was convenient to shopping, groceries, restaurants and getting to both parts of the island.

Pros: We loved the hotel - clean and cozy rooms. Great pool. Queen size sofa bed at no cost in the room for kids. We would stay there again. Parking cost included in resort fee - some hotels charge $30 per day for parking.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: I loved the breakfast buffet. I loved the proximity to restaurants and the friendly staff.
Cons: The first night we got there there was hair in our tub and hair in our bed and sock lint on the sheets . I stripped the bed and asked for new bedding when housekeeping came the next day. They gave us clean sheets after I asked and the tub was cleaned .
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Loved it. Gluten free options. Everything is fresh.
1,0 Poor
Cons: Not worth the price. Poor customer service.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Centrally located. Excellent facilities
Cons: The receptionist named Jennifer Lyn was discourteous, not hospitable and inconsiderate. My booking specified that I paid for a room for 4 adults but insisted that while booking.com indicated indeed that the room was for 4 adults, at Marriott’s end, it was only for 2 adults so I was asked to pay for 2 more extra adults. WiFi was supposed to be complimentary but again I paid for another $14.75.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The pool was wonderful.
Cons: I would have liked solar lights in the gardens. The view from the deck would be much nicer.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Comfortable beds, nice valet service, unique pool
Cons: The staff at check-in weren’t personable, hotel was old and definitely in need of some renovation, EVERYTHING was an extra charge like a cushion for pool cots, you have to arrange to get a flower lei, one of the security guards known as Russell was extremely rude and lacked bedside manner.
6,7 Good
Pros: Outside by the restaurant and pool area but you don’t come this far to stay in a crowded Chlorine pool.
Cons: Location not the best. Very commercial And ugly beaches Rooms not nice
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location and Ambiance.
Cons: Poorly maintained in room A/C unit which was un-necessarily loud.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The quietness of the hotel and how clean they keep everything even with so many people staying there.
Cons: After checking out and looking over my bill I found they charged us for internet every day which was supposed to be included in the resort fee we pay per day. I am still waiting for the refund.

Pros: Everything!!!!!

Cons: none
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed & couch had good mattress. Good washing machine & dryer & well equipped kitchen Lovely hot tub and swimming pool Right next to beach. Excellent location. We did not get to eat in the restaurant but menu looked good
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Central location, full kitchen, washer/dryer and amazing restaurant onsite.
Cons: Hard pitch and aggressive sales tactics to attend a meeting for the time shares. It was unsettling since we had barely been on the island for an hour. No means no.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and good price
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay! Clean! Saved money by preparing and eating meals in room !!
8,8 Excellent
Cons: A ridiculous system at check-in that you have to go to the tours desk in order to collect the wifi password and the parking permit; this enables the lady to bug you trying to sell her tours. Given that there was only one person at the tour desk and she went on in great detail about tours with a couple in front of us we waited for half an hour before she broke off from the other couple and spent 20 seconds giving us the information and paper we needed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location! Ocean view, pool & comfortable accommodations.
Cons: Property looks a bit worn.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. The staff was very accommodating and always very friendly.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It was a great location, ther ocean was very close.
Cons: The resort itself was great, the staff was great it wasn't until the end when they insisted that we sit for a presentation. They did give us a gift card, i with stood the pressure but had to intervene for my sister. She is an owner and they were very pushy. I told them we were done and it became very unpleasant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous value for the cost. Smack dab on the beach!

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: When we requesting housekeeping, all they did was put clean towels and empty trash. They didnt even sweep the bathroom floor. Kind of disappointing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was updated and clean. I liked that there were several restaurants nearby within walking distance as well as an ABC store and how close to the airport the hotel was.
Cons: The room I got had a Murphy bed which pulled out of the wall. I wouldn't choose that.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly!
Cons: Old resort and expectations were higher due to the price. I think places in Poipu and Princeville are much nicer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pool and grounds are outstanding .
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: There was no room available for booked room type. Front desk was unwilling to accommodate.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late in the evening and they still looked after us very well.
Cons: I did not have cash when I arrived and the valet looked at me and was disappointed I did not have a chance to for him.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything beautiful facility
Cons: I love the property however when i booked the room was advertised as a ocean view villa. We received a two room suite with a partial view. About 75 percent of the view was of a gross green roof. This was false advertisement and we feel very deceived. I am not sure if this was bookings fault or Mariott’s fault but this was not a villa with an ocean view.
6,7 Good
Pros: Activities were good / beach / not crowded
Cons: Staff at check in were not overly helpful / had two reservations and wanted to stay in same room, but they would not let us b/c not same type - but they charged me quiet a bit ($300+) for the 2nd room , the hotel was not crowded at all, so I think they should have been more flexible.
6,7 Good
Pros: Amazing grounds with a magical botanical garden and koi pond, gigantic pool, a great view of the pool area and the sea. Nice kid's pool with a slide. Close to the shops and restaurants. Beachfront. Nice bar by the pool. Beautiful art gallery. Right next to the airport and handy to have the shuttle included. Golf next to the hotel. Big room, full-size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Handy to have self-service laundry facilities on several floors. Super comfortable beds and amazing linen. Nice decor. Lots of storage. Great customer service from Christina Medeiros at the Lobby and some of the Bell desk staff. Good business center. Great gym facilities, towel, water and fruit included. Housekeeping ladies were very nice. Day manager John was helpful when we had a problem in the apartment. BBQ facilities on site. Lots of places to relax within the grounds. Good choice of places to eat within the grounds or nearby. The TV in our room stated that check out was at 12 pm but night manager and lobby staff didn't want to honor that and even implied that I was lying about it. Genea Nish even asked me (through a staff member) to send her an email with the photo that I took stating this, which I did. Never got a reply or apologize for their mistake. Genea, who was the night manager, never even bothered to come out to the front desk to speak directly with me. Not only about the check out time but also about how they forgot to put the promised credit on my account. They had me waiting a long time at night, made me feel uncomfortable and like I was making things up until they decided to contact the day manager who confirmed that all I was saying was correct. Also, they have a sign at the lobby saying that you can earn points for every day that you don't utilize the housekeeping service.
Cons: We had an infestation of red ants during our 3 first days. They were everywhere in both connected rooms, they got inside every bag and you couldn't leave anything in the tables as they were getting on all our stuff. The ants were already there when we arrived and we let the housekeeping team know from the first day. A male staff member came and sprayed with a household insecticide for spiders/cockroaches which had a very strong smell. He said to wait until the next day to see what happens. The ants were still pretty much everywhere the next day. We went to speak with the day manager John who arranged for a pest control staff to come and for a deep clean to be done to the property the following day. John said that he was going to credit a certain amount to our account for the inconvenience. The pest control guy put some gel bait around both apartments which took until the following day to take effect but only in one of the apartments. Even after housekeeping did a deep clean there were still ants present in the kitchenette. Very inconvenient for us as we put a lot of value on the cleanliness of the places we stay. The disappointment was bigger because we had canceled a previous booking in another hotel nearby (which cost half of the price) because we read several bad reviews mentioning the presence of bugs in the rooms and the Marriott was the only hotel we found that apparently didn't have that problem. Value for money was very bad as we had exactly the problem we were trying to avoid and also all the bars and restaurants within the hotel were very expensive. Price of breakfast is extremely high. Customer service is not uniform, some staff members were nice but others were all the opposite. Genea Nishi (Night manager) and a couple of other members of the staff at the front desk that served me the night before we left when I tried to check out weren't helpful. I was expecting great service at this price range. No attention to detail.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Basically everything
Cons: 25.00 a day to PARK. The only thing that was absolutely ridiculous to me.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect. On the beach and very picturet.
Cons: Bathroom was very small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We celebrated my son’s wedding at the Marriot and the staff were amazing!

With a stay at Hotel Coral Reef in Kapaa, you'll be on the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Lydgate Beach Park and Kela's Glass Gallery. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The newly renovated room, the location facing the beach/ocean, the value.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful. Location was, of course, great. Oceanfront property in Kapaa. AC in the room was a bonus. Comfy bed. Simple breakfast provided in the main office. WIFI was great and fast (about 60 down/10 up). Rooms were modern and nice (minus TV...see what I didn't like). Nice oceanfront pool with waterfall feature.
Cons: Pillows were terrible. While they appear to be poofy, lay your head on them and they flatten like a pancake. Even using 3 together provided no support. Bedspreads were a bit tattered. Worse thing -- TV. Come on people -- a TV built in 2006 (per the label on the back, which I had to use my phone to take a picture of since the TV is screwed to the cabinet and doesn't turn). NO HDMI ports at all make streaming with my Fire stick or any modern, current device impossible. TV only has really old RCA cable inputs. Flat screens are cheap now. TIME TO UPGRADE!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: View from 3rd floor SeaView room was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Kapaa is a very central location with lots of food choices and supermarkets nearby.
Cons: There was 1 small cockroach in the bathroom found on the 4th day.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location
3,1 Mediocre
Pros: The grounds fronting the ocean were nice but the wild chickens were a nuisance.
Cons: The Economy room was terrible. The balcony fronted on to an alley with 2 big garbage dumpster in it right below our balcony. The shower curtain rod was rusting away. The carpeting was dirty. There were no chairs to use in the room and only one bedside table.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great, convenient location just a 15 min. drive from Lihue airport. Simple, economical and very pleasant. I'll be back!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super nice, the place is right by the ocean, rooms are very clean an well equipped. We had an awesome time there! Highly recommend!
7,0 Good
Pros: Watching the sunrise from the Balcony
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was super comfy. All furniture and built-ins are super nice. Location on waterfront unbelievably nice.
Cons: Continental breakfast needed to be in a larger space to access food during busy time. I couldn't get the safe to work but I didn't ask for help. Pool should be open until 10 pm
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It was good but one had to watch the chickens so they didn't beat you to your food. Walks from th e site were very good. Thank you for giving my phone # to the coconut basket weaver. He was very personable seemed to try to please us. Sorry about the breakdown of his truck in your parking lot.

Pros: Pool was fantastic. Beds were small (double) but comfortable.
Cons: Room was clean, hallway needed some work.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The staff were friendly
Cons: I was very unhappy with my first room as it was very musky with mildew. My bedding was wet. I asked for a new room which had a non working toilet so I packed my things and left a room that was paid for and found a new location to stay for the last night.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and the amenities were plentiful. It did not seem like the hotel was overbooked: we were always able to find chairs by the pool, and be seated nearly immediately at the on-site restaurants.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect place to relax! Clean, quiet, friendly staff, location is great! Amazing place to be while you're away from home.
Cons: Nothing to dislike this place!
6,3 Good
Cons: I have previously provided feedback, it appears you prefer to not respond.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pools. Wonderful house keeping staff. Clean and up to date hotel. Very nice accommodation.
Cons: The pools should be open later, people are on vacation. The pool bar/cafe should be open later.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were beautiful. Beach is so close and love the slide in the back pool. Bed was comfortable. Bell hop and shuttle drivers were very nice and helpful.
Cons: The check in process took too long. You need more staff at 4pm since you refuse to allow people into the rooms early unless you pay an extra $50. The front desk people were not very friendly.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful at all times
Cons: It was a bit overprice for what the offered.
10,0 Excellent

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located next to a beautiful beach where you can''t swim, but can take lovely walks. The pools and grounds are lovely. The classes were so fun. The room was nice and beds very comfortable.
Cons: One night a loud family was in the room next to us. We could hear them so easily in our room. But that was only one night.
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Waipouli Beach Resorts & Spa Kauai by Outrigger in Kapaa, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Lydgate Beach Park and Kalapaki Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
7,5 Good
Pros: While we were happy with the property we felt that calling our room we were originally given a garden view when the view is of the parking lot is very misleading. The second room we were given was truly a garden room and we were satisfied with that.
Cons: The second room we were moved to had numerous problems that we had to notify the office about and they had to send a maintenance employee to come fix them ( microwave vent, dishwasher, and the tub stopper). Also, we were disappointed in the fact that the condo owner locked specific cabinets so we had less storage space so it felt very crowded in the kitchen because we could not put items in the pantry.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, quiet and the kids loved the pool. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Decent room
Cons: Not operated like a hotel. Mandatory exorbitant cleaning fee, yet no housekeeping service included (available at even more outrageous pricing). Daily resort fees. The one restaurant is understaffed, overpriced mediocre food. Pool areas dirty and crowded.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was extremely comfortable. Room, especially the bathroom, was beautiful. Grounds were clean and well maintained. The pool area with the bar/restaurant was perfect for a lazy day.
Cons: Instructions all on one paper instead of several. We missed some explanations when we first checked in because they were on a folded separate paper found later. I would put all the general info on the map that is handed out.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room was comfy and pool and spa were nice. Oasis was awesome
Cons: Kids were loud
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, staff is helpful and friendly. It’s near to everything, food, adventure, beaches, golf. The pool is beautiful and wasn’t ever overly crowded. The oasis is a great place to have a drink and some dinner.
Cons: I know it’s a condo but if you’re there for over a week, it seems like there should be clean towels and sheets after a week. I didn’t mind the resort and cleaning fee but would have appreciated a change just once after a week.
6,7 Good
Pros: The location was amazing.
Cons: There were no basic amnesties for cooking in. No salt, no coffee filters, etc. It is misleading to say that the place is set for cooking when these things aren’t provided. Also, it’s not really fair to call this a resort. No poolside service and the restaurant onsite was so expensive it’s not really family friendly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic ocean view
Cons: Traffic was difficult at times and other drivers didn't yield as I would have expected.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pool grounds were fantastic, we all enjoyed using the pools and even the odd slide down your water slide. We also took the opportunity to rent bikes through the spa and enjoyed a great ride along the sea wall.
Cons: No complaints.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: This resort was the perfect place for my and my family to stay. We had a toddler and infant with us and it was just right for them. The pool was great with the walk in sand kids area and the condo had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. The grocery store was walking distance and we went to a delicious restaurant called kenji burger right next to the resort, also walking distance, that we really enjoyed. Overall it was a great place to stay.
Cons: I know this place also has condos people have shares of which makes it difficult to offer this but it would have been nice to have a daily cleaning service for fresh towels and restock of other items. You pay a cleaning fee but it’s only for when you leave so you don’t really benefit from it. It’s nice to have a washer and dryer but I do like having the room cleaned at least every other day would be nice.
7,5 Good
Cons: Sofabed - very hard to put back up.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The condo was beautiful, it had everything we needed, the pool was amazing and it was in a great location.
Cons: The cost

Pros: Perfect vacation spot!
Cons: Parking becomes a challenge at times. No microwave in the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice restaurant on the beach.
Cons: Online this hotel list airport shuttle under its amenities. This is false, there is no shuttle provided, we had to hire an Uber driver to get to this hotel from the airport. (I actually picked this hotel because I believed it provided a shuttle)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good restaurant with wonderful view in
Cons: Nice clean place, great service
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Large comfy room. Really nice vibe in the place. Other than in my 'not like comment' the staff were very friendly. Great location.
Cons: The only reason this place lost marks with me was on our last night when we were unable to have a drink in the bar even though we were staying at the hotel. There was no room on the stools around the bar however as there was a bad storm the place was quiet and there were plenty of free tables. We sat at a high table, surrounded by empty tables but we're told we had to have a meal to sit there. We did not want food as it was 5.45 so we had to leave. Not good service for a paying resident. Such a shame to have a dampener put on our otherwise excellent stay.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant had very good food and was right on the beach with a wonderful view of the ocean. There was free valet parking. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice.
Cons: None
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, pools, lava lava beach club
Cons: Beach wasn't really swimmable. Some of the hotel room doors don't close on their own and need to be pushed or pulled to get them to close. Easy to fix.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and good food
Cons: No
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location of our room, view of ocean. The concierge was great and the woman who checked us in was fantastic!
Cons: Wish we’d had a microwave in the room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is fabulous, right by the ocean. Lava Lava Beach Club served delicious food and they have super friendly staff. They also had live performances every night. Nice pool and neat surroundings.
Cons: If you seek for some peace and quiet it is perfect for you but the location can be a little too quiet for some taste.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The check in was great and the valet parking is a must and greatly appreciate the help they gave us.
Cons: Pulling in very late and dark, wasn’t sure where to go for reception desk...parking is a maze in there, but made sense in the morning. So, would say better sign to lobby and let people know that valet is complimentary and at night the only way to go.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good Location
Cons: Getting a little old.

Pros: Good location for seeing sites elsewhere on the island.
Cons: Julie at the Sand Bar - very attentive to the male guests, For a while I thought I was wearing my Invisibility Cloak! I realize it makes sense for her tips to be friendly to repeat customers, but how could she know I might not be one?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Well placed on the beach and near shops. Walking distance to sleeping giant trek
Cons: Perfect

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was super mellow. It was quiet all around, and in a nice location.
Cons: We had an overall nice stay. I do wish the front desk staff was a bit more knowledgeable and helpful about things to do in the area. There is a$20 resort fee every day

Pros: My ocean front view
Cons: Well It would been perfect if I was in the second floor for Perfect view of the ocean, I was given a last minute room And thus the only dislike .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the lush, beautiful gardens”must be spectacular and fragrant, when the plumeria is in bloom! We also loved the proximity to the beach and the gorgeous beach itself. The staff couldn''t be nicer, including the activities coordinator so helpful!
Cons: We followed the rules about putting towels to be replaced in the tub, however it appeared that the towels were all replaced every day regardless of our wishes. Also, I long for paper & plastic recycling options.

Pros: The hotel was a great central location on the island, the pool was nice and the ocean was right there, I fell asleep to the sound of the ocean waves every night. The staff was very friendly
Cons: A lot of traffic around the area
6,0 Good
Pros: Great location, nice room.
Cons: Carpet smelled like a locker room. Location of room allowed for balcony at right angles to have clear view into room. Privacy diminished.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, clean room. Friendly staff.
Cons: Facilities/building in some disrepair but they were doing construction so hopefully that will be remedied
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of our hotel, room & parking was excellent for us. Our room was very clean & housekeeping staff was excellent in its daily attendance. Check in & check out staff was very gracious, warm, & helpful. Grounds is attractive, neat, & clean.
Cons: Though we had a 1st floor room, with a wheelchaired Aunt, our bathroom was challenging for her use. It was not ADA adjusted.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Beach access from the hotel, sunrise views in the morning, ocean breeze over night helped even without AC too. But a AC is required over in summer
Cons: An AC was missing when it was hot. Fan was helpful but it might not help for summer visitors.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was great! Right on the water and near grocery stores and the bus line. Easy walking location which was great since we didn't have a car. Staff was friendly and gracious about late checkout.
Cons: Room was older, had a weird smell that eventually aired out, the fridge had a terrible smell that never went away. Shower was pretty dirty. There was pretty intense noisy construction going on the whole time.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Ocean site property. Very good location in town. They provide water refill. Yoga class was perfect.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming upon arrival.
Cons: There is no air conditioning, the beach is covered in rocks, the resturant was a complete disaster. Rooms were recently renovated but everything still seems old and worn down. Bathrooms are extremely small
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Morning sunrise yoga and friendly staff!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are quite big and the front view rooms have an amazing ocean-view. You will receive a bottle which you can refill with water for free. Yoga session in the morning during sun-rise is for free as well.
Cons: nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The room views were spectacular. And the ocean was only a stones throw away. We loved waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. Our stay at the ISO was the best value we had on the Island. The free water station was nice and the staff was helpful and pleasant. It was also great that a very nice restaurant was attatched to the property.
Cons: The breakfast selection was very basic and sparse. Apple, oatmeal, slices of bread, oatmeal bar-disappointing. Beds comfort was okay. The fantastic views and close proximity to the ocean made up for what we disliked
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the beauty and cleanliness of the hotel, and it's laid-back vibe. At first we were surprised that there was no air conditioning - but then we had the wonderful experience of opening the sliding door and letting the sea breeze come into the room. We joined sunrise yoga on the grass... Incomparable setting - beautiful sunrises, gorgeous during the day, pretty at night. The pool and surroundings were immaculate and well-maintained. We love this place and will definitely be back!
Cons: The bathroom did not have a fan and open windows did not provide a breeze. That was a little uncomfortable.

Pros: Great facilities and great staff. Room was spacious and had everything we needed.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic but filled us up (but was also a bonus as we didn’t think it was included)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and exceptionally clean. Enjoyed the private verandah off our room with beautiful plantings creating privacy. Lovely pool area and continental breakfast. Staff were very attentive and because our room was ready, they were kind enough to let us in much earlier. They have SPECIAL SPECIAL rates for all of Kauau's activities. You'll enjoy this boutique hotel. We'll certainly be back.
Cons: Towels for pool were too small and worn. Fluffy towels are good.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the drive into Kauai Inn takes you by an industrial section of the harbor, but then unfolds into a beautiful valley floor just beneath towering lush hills. It was actually quite beautiful.
Cons: We didn't know there wasn't any elevator. We had a lot of luggage and a disabled daughter. This was really the only downside.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very unique, quaint hotel. Clean room, very friendly staff. It was nice that there were washers/dryers on site for laundry
Cons: Slightly off the beaten path, if you care about that (I don't). A/C unit was very loud. I had to shut it off, because it kept waking me up
9,2 Excellent
Pros: When we arrived we got a lei- that was really great :-). Our room was very clean. Nice Location.
6,8 Good
Pros: Room was nicely appointed with comfortable bed. Parking was very convenient and the young man who checked us in was very nice.
Cons: AC was so loud that it was impossible to get a good night sleep, even the neighbors AC could be heard in our room. A little better cleaning wouldn't hurt either. My wife dropped an earring and found quite a bit of dust and a sock under the bed.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Low key relaxed setting in lush gardens. This old style Kauai hotel has air conditioning, large flat screen TV, good shower, local pets to entertain you, continental breakfast and very accommodating staff. We stayed for one night but could have stayed longer.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Delicious fruits for breakfast, coffee all day, very friendly staff The hotel has a new owner who is very motivated to further improve everything
Cons: We missed the milk for the coffee The hotel is not located at a beach but the location itself is very beautiful
7,9 Good
Pros: Very clean; old facility that functions well.
Cons: Rural industrial / residential neighborhood. While safe, it is beyond walking distance to shopping, restaurants and over visitor attractions. Definitely need a rental car for access.
1,0 Poor
Pros: location
Cons: they have bed bugs. bitten over 50 times in hotel over 2-week period.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The pool was awesome, receiving a lei upon check in was special, the 24 hour coffee and tea bar was great, the continental breakfast was tasty, friendly staff.
Cons: Our taxi driver told us the neighbourhood was not the safest so don’t walk around if we didn’t need to, the pillows were average comfort.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Room broken into location not good an industrial area

Pros: Very friendly staff who really cared about us. The manager did listen to our issues with the unit reserved and really try to accommodate us but the resort was full.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room was not what we'd expect and there was a terrible smell inside. The location of the room by the road made it really noisy and not interesting to keep the windows open; the AC was really noisy as well. The kitchen was not well equipped at all (no plate to bake a pizza, practically no ustensile, no dishwasher...), no other spice then salt snd pepper (i know food and condiments are not part of the deal, but all the other condos we reserved had a feel of home because of those things others left behind). Beach was blocked by high plywood walls. The manager showed us other unavailable room that were better un terms of location, renovation, but it was even more expensive. This was not worth the money at all.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Poolp
4,6 Okay
Pros: Location was convenient, Coconut Shopping Mall next door with a great ABC Store with a wonderful food court!
Cons: Where do I begin? Bldg. E - Condo 14 - a 1 bedroom unit. Dated room; floor was dirty. Air conditioning didn't work properly - had been added to the condo and a hole in the wall in the master bedroom was cut to put in the air conditioner for that room. I think the room sat empty with no air conditioning for a while, so it took 12 hrs. to cool down. We were so uncomfortable all night. The pull out bed in the living area was completely broken and my kids couldn't sleep on it. They were on the floor all night! At checkout, I told the person and she said "oh I'm sorry" - I think she had heard it before. And, to top it all off, the beach access across the street was scary - homeless people living out of their cars. My older children came back to the room and said it scared them. They didn't feel safe. Hawaii is having a big time homeless problem. The Honolulu news actually had a piece on it while we were there about Diamond Head on Oahu and the homeless encampments increasing in numbers. Many homeless in Lihue too! So sad!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Unit was clean with exception of mold in shower. Nicely equipped. Additional comments as to what I did not not like: Had to book another reservation to extend one night or hotel would have charged $50 more. Pool towels leave much to be desired.
Cons: Some staff unfriendly. Poor directions to the room and parking. Poor information regarding laundry facilities. Pool small in need of updating. The guests were using the lifesaving equipment as a toy with unsupervised under age children. See ABOVE
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were so friendly, in a quiet area, walking distance to the coconut market place. And easy access to the beach.
Cons: This hotel doesn't do the bedding for you. Only clean up the washroom and the garbage.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room very clean, comfortable bedding
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The suite was like an apartment! Very spacious with a connecting lanai. Walking distance to the main store and restaurants. I love this place!!!
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location and cost
Cons: Room was musty, needed deep cleaning and fixes to broken fixtures.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: A little bit old fashioned but still ok, very friendly staff, small shopping mall close by with restaurants
Cons: Not a nice view, beach a little walk, people were living at the beach,
4,6 Okay
Pros: There was too many fly bugs flying in our bathroom and our front TV was not working correct but we did have someone next day to help us..Thank you..
Cons: You need to disinfect and spray bathroom and and rooms with fly bug spray..
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly. Everyone greeted us with a smile which helped overlook the property itself.
Cons: This is an older property in need of a complete renovation. The rooms are small, dark, not well appointed and in need of a deep clean if not a complete remodel.
5,0 Okay
Cons: Felt outdated and run down. There were hairs in sheets and traffic noise could be heard at night from our room.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff and great location!
6,0 Good
Pros: The rooms and grounds were surprisingly clean and well kept for as old as the property is. It was very close to the airport, which we wanted.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable, I was glad we only used the room as a cleanup spot before our redeye flight. The parking was kinda tight as well, but it was very clean and super close to the airport so it worked out well for us.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location ...Very closed to airport.
Cons: I found a cockroach in the room early morning and informed the stuff. Seem like is not her duty time and didn't pay attention and just say "I will let them know". Didn't take action immediately and apologize to us. Jut like it's normal thing to her. Bad!!
5,0 Okay
Pros: Was a good place to stay for first night after travels.
Cons: Little dated, but not bad for a motel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was so nice! Coffee was delicious, room was clean and bed was comfy. Couldn’t have asked for better!
5,8 Okay
Pros: It is clean and well kept. I checked-in early with no additional fees.
Cons: Literally the size of a small bedroom. 9 1/2 feet wide by 12 feet long. Walls are very thin, I could hear every conversation clearly until the window A/C kicked on. It was a brand new unit and very efficient. Privacy jalousie windows prevents a view but give the room adequate light during the day. The wild chickens and roosters start before 5 AM as does the local garbage collection. Sleeping in isn’t really an option. The grounds are all in the picture on the site. No amenities except for free coffee in the morning and lemon water all day. Bed was well used but not uncomfortable.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Not as clean as we wanted it to be. Desk clerk not helpful.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is okay in terms of features - but it is clean and functional and an amazing value and located near some food and shops. I will stay again.
Cons: bed was uncomfortable
9,0 Excellent
Pros: This was a delightful experience. The company was very accommodating to myself. This is an organized and professional company. Would highly recommend them!

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Bonus points for the outstanding pool to which the property had access. Kitchen was well equipped, and there was actually cable TV; ground floor apartment, you could step right outside on the grass.
Cons: The property caretaker felt the need to admonish us for driving "too fast" in and out of the property. And it happened to be in our last day, that left a little bit of bad taste: this is not exactly the secluded spot in heaven, there is driving outside the gate, construction, and trash pick-up noises. he should slow down being overzealous.
6,3 Good
Pros: Great view. Comfortable bed. Good location.
Cons: Fan in bathroom didn’t work. The unit is badly in need of deep cleaning and updating.g

Pros: Large, comfortable bed. Clean.
Cons: Aircon was a joke. It makes more noise than cool air and it's impossible to sleep having it on. That makes nights very hot.
