Pros: Friendly staff, great location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The nostalgia of the building and the wonderful staff that made our visit so enjoyable.
Cons: Needed a bit more lighting in the room 415.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The historic ambiance of this hotel is quite fitting to the rich history of the Kansas City Plaza. While there isn't a pool (which is a drawback), there are offering such as the Music on the Green and live Jazz in the lounge. Walking distance to Plaza
Cons: It's grand BUT WITHOUT the grandeur of ballrooms, hallway mazes to lead you to new areas ... it's compact in it's "lobby" offerings.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was great. Hotel restaurant and live music was outstanding both evenings.
Cons: Our room wasn't ready for an hour. There were technical difficulties with our room both nights - woke us up in the middle of the night three times during our stay. For the price of the room, we expected a better experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall feel....warm and welcoming! Also, the attention to details.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff were excellent when I checked in. Man newly hired from Florida couldn't have been nicer!
Cons: There was noise outside of my window in the wee hours, 1-2am. Sounded like someone power-washing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Once we got up to our room, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, chocolates and a card welcoming us to the hotel. Room service was also beyond amazing for the next morning!

Pros: The lounge/restaraunt
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is amazing and so is staff!
Cons: No
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, classy, historic hotel. Love the boutique ambiance. Valet parking is the same price as self-park, nice that it wasn't extra. Several comfortable seating areas outside and inside to listen to live entertainment. Enjoyed the Chaz dinner/brunch
Cons: Perfect location, beautiful accommodation, excellent staff, no complaints! We were accidentally charged for one item from the snack tray that we didn't use, it was promptly removed and resolved! We will definitely be back!!

Pros: The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased with the location, and pleasantly surprised by the Kickback! We weren’t expecting an evening meal to be included! Drury is a chain we will happily come back to!

Cons: No heat in my room The hotel smelled like wet dog and grease
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room and bathroom exceeded my expectations! The staff was very friendly and helpful!
Cons: I loved-everything!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Provided a safe place to sleep for the night
Cons: There was a banging noise that started early Sunday morning. SO much for sleeping late! Short staff-no one at the front desk most of the time. New meaning to OPEN hotel :-)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Lots of comfortable areas to eat.
Cons: The elevator wasn't consistently working. That made for longer wait times.
7,0 Good
Cons: Breakfast area was crowded. there was NO favored creamer for coffee.
5,8 Okay
Pros: We liked the location. The bed was comfortable. No waiting for bath water to get hot. Husband always enjoys the breakfast.
Cons: We are rolling up on the year 2020, and not one single USB port in the room to charge phones/ laptops. Incredible. The elevator was broken our entire 3 day stay. No vent in bathroom. Air/heater spit water out into the carpet the whole stay. From the moment we met him, the assistant manager acted like he hated the job and would rather be anywhere but there having to deal with checking people in or answering questions about the facility. Could have been a bad day, but it was really a turnoff. After years of being loyal to Drury, we’ve called this relationship off.

Pros: Very clean and friendly staff

Pros: Had been refurbished recently

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The ambience was great. The breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable. I slept very well on the mattress.
Cons: Some people had very long waits to be seated for breakfast. Also frustrating that front desk and valet were not in sync. Twice called front desk about having courtesy car to take us somewhere to be told valet was busy for 20-30 minutes and we get down to lobby a few minutes later and valet says he is available.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location by Power & Light District & Sprint Center! Hotel has great architecture & ambiance! Clean, comfortable new room in the south tower with nice features & amenities. The Reserve Restaurant has a great chef. Our breakfasts were delicious!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and neat! Great location
7,5 Good
Pros: The location is central to so many restaurants and bars. The decor is modern and fresh. The restaurant/bar inside the hotel is very nice.
Cons: The view is of a parking garage across the street. The biggest disappointment was the bed. The mattress was so firm it was like sleeping on the floor and the pillows were terrible! Also, there’s no bathroom fan so it was SO quiet, which could be good or bad. I would prefer a little white noise so a bathroom fan would’ve been nice. My husband and I both tossed and turned all night long. As much as I loved the vibe of the hotel I doubt we would ever stay there again just because of the terrible nights sleep. Seriously, the beds and pillows are the worst!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful restoration. Excellent service. Surprisingly intimate in the middle of the city. 2 thumbs up!
7,1 Good
Pros: Location was great, door men were friendly.
Cons: Check in staff seemed judgmental towards us. Also other guests were loud and obnoxious around 1am-230am.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The staff were very nice and polite. The ambiance was elegant. The bottled water in the room was a very nice touch. The carpet in the room had a cool pattern and felt really nice on my feet.
Cons: The bathroom smelled like sulfur for the duration of our stay. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and gave no support. The bedding was very heavy but not comforting. It was cold and non-breathable. The mattress itself was not very supportive and felt kinda stiff. We got no good sleep. The water in the shower had two settings: ice cold and scalding hot. The shampoo and conditioner provided seemed to do nothing at all for my hair.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't see any food options at Hotel, but there is a great area of farmer's market/restaurants (good morning spot) in one direction and lively Power & Light district (with good BBQ) in the other. Both are easy walks from the hotel.
Cons: Wish they had a hot tub...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: They allowed dogs and were very accommodating and friendly.
Cons: not really

8,0 Excellent
Pros: It's in a good location north of Kansas City. Quick drive to downtown and easy drive to the airport to catch a flight. Nice looking hotel throughout the day. Inside the hotel is a very good design and access to the Internet in the lobby is very helpful.
Cons: The road work on Highway 169 has the South Bridge closed which causes a modified route to downtown. It seems to reduce the convenience of the the hotels location. Therefore, not the best choice for spending time South of the hotel right now.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room and good service
7,0 Good
Pros: closeness to the location and indoor heated pool
Cons: the hot tub looked like there was snot in it. One of our rooms had an unmade bed, trash in the trash can and sodas and snacks on the table. We were given a second room
6,8 Good
Pros: Bistro food was OK, customer service at the desk was horrible
10,0 Excellent
Pros: City view room and ambience
4,0 Okay
Pros: The facility was great the staff was amazing. Lindsey and Marissa were so helpful and understanding. Great customer care.
Cons: I was very unhappy to find out ( without prior warning) that this hotel is also an event venue which means you will be listening to loud music, unruly intoxicated non-guests, and the hotel staff has no control of this ‘venue’ So unless you want to listen to loud parties until 10-11 pm. Not a good choice. I would say if you need to have a peaceful nights rest or an early flight this isn’t a good option. Sadly, Marriott lost some points in my book this trip. The staff did all they could to help us find a peaceful room but it was such an inconvenience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, relaxed and fine culture "feeling".
Cons: No.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: The water pressure was pretty weak but otherwise everything was very nice.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: As you know we made these reservations quite some time ago. We asked and paid for two queen beds. When we arrived we found out we had one bed and a sofa. A 6'0" guy on a 5' sofa doesn't cut it. The idiot that gave our room away was Armando Moron.
Cons: The name Moron is exactly what this guy is. This was suppose to be a nice comfortable stay but it would have been better to stay at Motel 6 because of this idiot Moron.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: There was no breakfast
Cons: That breakfast was not incl

Pros: The hotel is centrally located. The shops and dining area inside are great.

Pros: The location was very nice if you are there for the Power and Lights District. It is a beautiful old hotel.
Cons: The room we were given was nothing shown when I booked. If had a view of a brick wall and the size of the room was 1/3 of the one shown. I had to call multiple times being put on hold for over 30 minutes once and 24 minutes to notify of late arrival.

Cons: Parking and fees were high but overall great experience

5,0 Okay
Pros: We needed to be within walking distance of the Sprint Center, and we were.
Cons: This is just way too overpriced. Outrageous cost. Location is everything, I guess, but this wasn't actually any different of an experience than staying at a nice Best Western. It cost three times as much for location, and I left feeling foolish and duped.

Pros: The young woman at the front desk was very friendly. My only negative was in regards to the clothes we inadvertently left behind. When I called, the young man told me they had them and would mail them to us (for a fee of course.) After 10 days when I still hadn't seen them, I called back and the items were still there waiting to be mailed. Not sure if the post office pony express wasn't working that week but she said the they would go out soon. Still waiting...
Cons: See above

Pros: The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the close proximity to the country club plaza
Cons: The hotel was described as to having an indoor pool, which it didn't

Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: There is no pool or spa or hot tub at this location. Despite conflicting information from various sites. None. My kids were very disappointed. The room was super humid while somehow managing to be freezing. We could not get the air conditioner to kick off so it ran loudly all night. The room smelled funny and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. I am a huge fan of Marriott hotels but I wouldn’t stay at this location again if they paid me.

Pros: Staff was wonderful. Very clean hotel and great location
Cons: The bed was extremely uncomfortable

Pros: Very clean... everything smelled nice and the bed was super comfy.

Pros: I like the cleanliness of the hotel. It was also very "new" in appearance, and the lobby was welcoming and "warm" with the fireplace and all. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I rate the overall experience as EXCELLENT.
Cons: Breakfast ended a little too early. Perhaps extend the breakfast hour by 30 minutes. The business area could have used "partitions" so that users would have some amount of privacy while using the hotel computers. Warmed tea or coffee (during the cold months...) as complimentary in the lobby might have been nice. The pillows were a bit TO big and seemed hard. Perhaps two smaller pillows and two large ones?

6,7 Good
Pros: The location to attractions
Cons: I was very disappointed because I booked these rooms at the end of September and I booked it for a King. When I arrived and got checked in, I went to my room and found out that I was put in a double queen room. Went back downstairs with all of my luggage in tow and told the front desk. She said that I wasn’t guaranteed a king room because I went through a 3rd party and they were sold out. I should have got what I booked. The. I was charged for valet parking when I didn’t use their parking or valet. Disappointed with the experience and wasn’t even offered an apology or anything.
7,5 Good
Cons: Only Starbucks choice for breakfast.

Pros: The bedding was very comfortable and everything was very clean. The desk person was also extremely accommodating and personable. The valet was also very sweet, especially when I needed to get my phone out of my car that I forgot. Didn’t act as if I was bothering him like has happened to me at some hotels.
Cons: The stay would’ve been perfect if you had a hot tub.

Pros: Good location, and the bed was comfortable and the room was large. Good lighting.
Cons: There was way too much perfume-like fragrance in the hotel and in the room, so it was hard for me to breathe. If you have allergies or are sensitive to heavy fragrances, it might not be a good place for you to stay. The hotel is looking very out-dated, but I think they may be getting ready to renovate.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, courteous staff, comfortable bed, great amenities. The Club floor is an amazing option in which we highly recommended.
Cons: No hot water. After allowing the water to run for over 15 minutes, having maintenance come try to work on it, and so on...we still ended up taking a cool shower. Day 2 we changed rooms where we could have hot showers.
