Everything was to my expectations.
I know it could not be helped, and certainly was not planned; however, the air was out in the front lobby. It was so hot, we were unable to eat our breakfast.
Everything about this place was wonderful! We stayed on our way from Ohio to SC for vacation, traveling with our 3 kids (5, 3, and 1 yrs old). The rooms are updated, beautiful, spacious, with clean, modern bathrooms. The TV took a little bit to figure out (the TV had a 2-3 second delayed response to the remote, and was more updated than what we were used to) but was perfect for our stay. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but especially Vickie at the front desk. She interacted with my kids, made sure we had all the information we needed, encouraged us to stop at the desk prior to going to dinner to see if she had coupons to save us money, told us about places to take the kids, etc. When we did stop prior to going out for the night, she gave us a map and verbal directions, then walked with us to the exit and pointed out landmarks to make sure we were headed the right way (we walked to dinner). Vickie was like a mom away from home. It was unfortunate that our stay was only one night because Knoxville had so many things to offer, and this hotel was so welcoming. We absolutely will stay here again!
Rikki was great! Even when I was confused about the daily parking that I didn't realize had a fee, she calmly explained. The fancy new blinds were nice and easy. The nightly rate was a bit high but many things walkable.
The staff was exceptionally polite and friendly!!!
Clean breakfast good coffee wonderful!
