9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent - we managed to park at the rear of the property. The room and en-suite were spacious and spotlessly clean with plenty of hanging space, iron and ironing board as well as a tea/coffee tray (on request) Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had and the staff were wonderfully welcoming and friendly We ate dinner here too which was also very tasty. Would definitely stay again if in Kenmare Thank you
Cons: The hairdryer is attached to the bathroom wall so if you like to blow dry your hair pop a dryer in your case . Not a massive issue if you are prepared There wasn’t anywhere to sit if not in your room as the bar downstairs was so lively and popular it was full - but there are lots of bars immediately outside the door so we were able to go out instead

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel located in the center of Kenmare. Owner very nice and helpful. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. We parked in a free public lot a short walk from the hotel. There is also street parking (owner will explain rules).
Cons: Staff is very friendly but service can be slow and a little inattentive at the bar/restaurant.
6,3 Good
Pros: Good location on the main strip of town. Uncommonly large room. It was nice to stretch out a little. Seemed to be less expensive compared to other places in town.
Cons: Ad says "free private parking" which to me means they have a parking lot. That didn't seem to be the case. When we asked about it, they told us "parking on one side of the street is free and the parking restrictions on the other side of the street aren't likely to be enforced this time of year" and to just go find a street spot. Oooookay. Not much charm. Very little interaction with owners/staff. Room was a bit dated / worn. Beds and pillows are very worn out. Didn't have the best sleep there for that reason.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Pad Raif, the hotel manager, was lovely to deal with as were most of the restaurant staff. The hotel has a bit of a smoky smell, but the rooms upstairs are free of the smoke smell.
Cons: We felt like the room was a bit too pricey and there was i cancellation policy.

Famous local attractions Finnegans Cycles and Kenmare Public Library, can both be reached with a short walk. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We experienced a BIG WOW on entering the Kenmare Bay Lodge it was spacious and well equipped lovely bedding and only few items I would say were missing was oven gloves and a step stool, ( I am only 5ft tall) the Kitchen was more than you can wish for; although the cupboards were a little high for me. My friend and I said we would be quite happy to live in these wonderful lodges. Sadly the weather was not kind or we could have enjoyed the bench in the front garden and a lovely little private garden at the rear accessed from double doors from the kitchen. They are every bit as good as the pictures suggest. We did not use the Hotel so cannot comment on the other facilities.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location 2min walk to town
9,6 Excellent
Pros: we were self catering in the lodges so did not dine in the hotel.
Cons: All was very good. Later check-out would have been even better - was a bit rushed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The space, the cleanliness, the generosity of the comfort of the beds and the number of appliances. We were impressed and pleased that tea, coffee, washing and dishwasher powder were available meaning we didn't need to buy any and leave them or cart them around for our holiday afterwards.
Cons: Only that it was a little chilly and we couldn't put on the heating briefly.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Really nice would definitely go back again
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fabulous - beautiful, quaint Kenmare. We loved the pathway to the town center. We stayed in the lodges and found them to be clean, very spacious, modern, and had everything we needed. While we didn't have much contact with staff (other than check-in/out), and we did not eat in the restaurant, we loved our space in the lodge. I was also impressed that Kenmare Bay Hotel/Lodges are a green facility and practice recycling/conservation. It is so important for a small country like the Republic of Ireland, and the beautiful Kerry County and surrounding area to stay preserved and clean. Our place was peaceful, quiet, and exceeded our expectations! We loved surrounding Kenmare and found it a great town that had all we needed; shops, restaurants, pubs, music, and gorgeous scenery. Thank you for your hospitality!
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The lodge was very nice and comfortable. Very close to the town centre.

Cons: The fine dining was too fancy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The concierge service was extremely helpful in assisting us with our sight-seeing and transfer arrangements. A very well appointed hotel. The art is varied and beautiful.
Cons: We thought the food was very average for a 5-star hotel, which was disappointing. The friendliness of the waiter staff was hit and miss.
7,1 Good
Pros: Rooms were beautiful
Cons: Ate in the bistro . The menu itself was ok , nothing out of the ordinary. The food itself was very poor. Prawns to start were ok but I would have expected langoustine for the price. The sauce was insipid. Rib eye steak was very thin so when placed on a freezing cold plate was inedible , waited 10 mins for my side . Just not good for the prices . Our table wasn't checked during mains so I told the waitress when our table was cleared how disappointing our food was. She told me she would inform the chef , that was the last I heard of the matter.

Cons: No room upgrade, though we paid full price. Nor did they oblige by including breakfast? No air conditioning...??? It was v hot hence became uncomfortable at night!

Pros: Everything about our stay at the Park Hotel in Kenmare was perfect - the staff, the facilities, the food/ drinks, the service and the extremely comfortable rooms. Can't recommend highly enough - definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

Pros: We had our mini moon in Kenmare. The staff here were lovely- so friendly and very helpful. We ate in the fine dining restaurant and it was delicious. We had the 7 course tasting menu with the wine pairing and we were so full after it, we had to go to bed! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we have nothing but positive feedback. We will definitely be back!

Pros: The property is stunning--both the grounds and location next to river, as well as the building and furnishings. Location perfect as adjacent to Kenmare center, so easy to walk to sites and restaurants. Service was excellent.
Cons: the wifi did not work in our room, though the hotel tried to reset
7,5 Good
Pros: All very nice. But very expensive for a one night stay
Cons: The noise from a delivery truck at 5.20. And someone moving stuff downstairs below us very early.

Pros: Beautiful property with beautiful grounds and walking trails along the water. The room was very nice, with a lovely sitting area.
Cons: Breakfast was not included and cost €25 each. There was no electric teapot in the room to make tea or coffee.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property in a lovely and convenient location close to Killarney with lovely local scenic drives. Superb spa and world class lap pool and thermal suite facilities. If only the products were local and 100% organic it would be fantastic. However they do have local options. The bathroom was very good with a lot of attention to detail. Bed linens were outstanding. Well planned and manicured grounds.
Cons: Run very lean. Poor bar and no staff at bar to take an order for a drink. Smell in the room during check in. Small TV if the weather isn't great.

Pros: Lot of space in room and luxury bathroom with everything what's needed, except for the hairdryer. Very comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff in the hotel as well in the bar and restaurant.
Cons: No hairdryer available on our (bath-)room. Lights near the bathrooms mirror could be better.

Pros: Closeness to town center. Good clean facilities in the Spa and leisure center. The grounds around the self catering houses are immaculate. Great hotel.
Cons: Kenmare Bay Hotel has a beautiful scenic layout. A fabulous walkway leads to the town center. Just 3mins in total. It also has a designated courtyard for the smokers. Breakfast has a relaxed atmosphere in the main dining room. A wide variety of foods to choose from, staff take your room number and your tea/coffee order and it's help yourself after that. We will definitely be returning again. I will also be recommending it to friends and family.

Pros: Excellent location to the town - walking distance and quiet. Cleanliness was superb. Friendliness great
Cons: Breakfast could have varied a bit more. It was second time staying at hotel this year, so variety of breakfast options would have been nice.
