Cons: Room smelled

Cons: The soup came warm but didn't come with a spoon. The salad came warm (vs cold) and didn't come with any dressing on the salad or on the side, also did not include the ingredients as listed on the menu. The pasta came warm but did not have the ingredients as listed on the menu, was just pasta and onions, basically inedible. Beer and white wine were not served cold, everything was room temp. I will say it was a Holiday so they were likely understaffed in the kitchen, but when you are a boutique hotel open for business with no restaurants or bars open, and left with only room service to offer charging full price it should at least meet the menu ingredient expectations. Otherwise call the guest and make another recommendation for available food options.

Cons: Light switches were weird and difficult to find

Cons: The toilet didn’t work all the time.

Cons: The first suite room I was given it had a strong mildew smell. The second room did too but just not as much so I didn't say anything. There was a water mark on the bathroom ceiling. (note: spoke with an Indy friend that was recently down there using a conference room during a heavy rain and water was coming near the windows. No doubt there's a water leak issue). The bed sheets had a tear in it and I ran out of toilet paper since the roll was low and they didn't leave a spare. The "mixology" bar is lacking the "-ology." The bartender hasn't studied much as she mixed my Tom Collins with Sprite. Just a notch above using sour mix. Went with just Gin and Tonic on the second round and got upcharged for Q Tonic. So, they hit it on the surface but miss on execution of product. The good news is it's easily correctable and I hope they do because this is a nice addition to Indianapolis.

Cons: I found two used bandaids on a pillow in our room. Ruined the hotel experience for me.

Cons: Getting into or out of the parking garage seems to always be a a hassle. No pool, but sometimes that's a good thing = no noisy children. I just like to know I have the option. No rooms have tubs, but they have great showers.

Cons: The card key system didn't work well. It usually took a few tries to get the elevator to work and sometimes took more than one try to get into the room.

Cons: Restroom in the suite had a sliding pocket door that would not close completely and did not feel private.

Cons: I asked for my room to be cleaned, they never did it. Asked for more shampoo and conditioner, never received. Hotel night staff was not friendly. Also, valet was slow and confused.

Cons: The Valet parking has always left me with a sour taste. Again I called 15 minuets prior to my departure, and still waited 15 minuets more for my car at 5:30 in the morning. With flight to catch it adds a lot of stress and leaves me frustrated after a nice stay.

Cons: Hotel was dated and not as clean as I would have liked

Cons: Fee wifi guys! Loved my stay but if I'm paying premium prices for the hotel room I should get free wifi!

Cons: No rooftop access.

Cons: Parking should either be included or discounted for those staying. We reserved a King deluxe facing the city and got 2 full size deluxe room facing air conditioning units on top of the conference center. Overall clean hotel, but for a downtown hotel for the price, it wasn't satisfactory.

Cons: The evening before checkout, I decided to go through all of my accounts and count my money (as I do every evening before going to bed). When I checked the account linked to the debit card that was used to book my room, I noticed several hundred dollars worth of charges (one of which was exactly $300 even). Altogether, I was charged approximately $800 more than what the room costs for the weekend. Such a minuscule theft for the amount of business they've now lost-all of my employees are strictly forbidden to stay at any Westin hotel for as long as I live and my friends/family members will be strongly encouraged to stay elsewhere as well.

Cons: No parking available for guests upon check-in. We had to find a public parking lot several blocks away. Bathroom sink would not drain. When the toilet was flushed, water backed up in the sink. Bathtub faucet was very loose from wall and fixtures didn't look clean.

Cons: We were given the keys to an occupied room, which turned out to be an NFL player, then left in the hallway for an hour while the hotel tried to figure out where to put us. They told us the hotel was empty from New Year's Eve the night before but seemed to have booked the only two customers to the same suite! No apologies whatsoever from the manager of the hotel after the hour and a half inconvenience of looking at three rooms before finally getting to what we paid for. We were given a credit to the hotel restaurant and when we tried to use it the bartender told us to pay the tab and the front desk would reimburse us the next day. Thought it was weird but had somewhere to be so I paid the tab. Needless to say, we didn't get a dime back of the "credit" we were supposed to receive, instead we spent $70 on a restaurant we weren't planning to go to. The customer service we experienced for a Westin was unbelievable and they did nothing to make up for all the issues. Will never stay here again.

Cons: I disliked that the bar was open first thing in morning in restaurant. There were a group of guys still partying from the night before, they were loud and obnoxious. This took away from my quiet enjoyment. So after they couldn't seem to quite them down I complained. However they did not leave until I left. Plus it was a Sunday morning. I felt it was disrespectful and certainty not appropriate. Towels were rough.

Cons: The restaurant in the hotel was a pseudo-high-end steak place, not good for travelling with kids.

Cons: Found Bed bug in my bedding not on top of bed but under the comforter...television was too small to be seen from far side of the king size bed ....feng shui not good ....sofa perpendicular to media so only could be used to pile coats and luggage on. Heat kicked on and off incessantly and had to adjust the volume on the tv to compensate too loud or not loud enough. Overall ...do not feel like it was worth the money..have had better ammenities in Choice Hotels for half the price....bigger tv ...placed centrally in the room ....bigger fridge AND a microwave and continental breakfast buffet.

Cons: The room

Cons: The room wasn't ready, the floor level was incorrect, and the courtesy call to tell us when our room was ready, never happened. I could of missed my event that I came into town for, if I didn't take my luggage back to my car and not wait around on the room to be ready. The whole lobby was full of unhappy customers.

Cons: The staff was so nasty. Ms. Morales was disrespectful and ambivalent to the customer experience.

Cons: Bar on 2nd floor much too small. Stayed on Club Floor. Not impressed with club bar (bar not open after game).

Cons: NO EASY CHAIR OR RECLINER IN ROOM. ONLY A BED AND A DESK CHAIR

Cons: Dirty room, bathroom.

Cons: For the cost of the room, tacking on a fee for wifi seemed much. Being in this hotel for business made conducting business difficult and the computers in the lobby were no help. I feel a bit like I paid for more than what I got out of staying in this hotel; beautiful, but pricey.

Cons: Nice stay friendly staff.

Cons: Booked hotel stay through bookings.com. Very inflexible and I did not get a great rate compared the the others I traveled with. I will not use that service again. I was not allowed early check in due the the fact my reversation was through bookings.com. I suggest to keep the reputation to its high standards you stop allowing reservations to be made with with service

Cons: I couldn't find the pool. There's no clear indication/direction. If you've stayed at this Westin, you know what I'm talking about.

Cons: the renovation finishes we not up to par, everything was sloppily done. our roon overlooked a nasty rooftop. we had to pay an additional $30 to park our own car on the premises after the room was over $150. Ridiculous and we expected a beautiful hotel. The whole lobby was under construction and it was embarrassing to have to bring my guest in to that.

Cons: air conditioning system wasn't working correctly while we were there. Took two calls down to get someone to come look at it. When they did come up, the fix was to run it down to 65 degrees on the thermostat to get it to cool. The system kept kicking on and off keeping my wife awake. I fixed that by turning the fan on continuous. I think they were having climate control issues all weekend. They gave us a free movie to make up for it though.

Cons: Paying for parking.

Cons: No minifridge in the rooms was a real pain. Especially since my floor also didn't have an ice machine. I think every other floor is actually missing an ice machine. Parking is also very expansive and the valet wasn't the nicest guy. The breakfast isn't very good either, often it can be cold, although there is usually a lot of selection.

Cons: No vent fan in the bathroom, hallway smelled musty

Cons: The hotel sold my room out from under me, and when I asked to speak to a manager they called security to escort me out rather than explain why I didn't have a room after booking months in advance and driving 8 hours to get to the hotel. They didn't even have the decency to call me before hand. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the nicer nonMarriot hotels downtown. This place only cares about overbooking so they can make as much money as possible.

Cons: I think someone was able to open my door with their key, fortunately I had the latch on so they weren't able to enter my room. Also, the shower door slams shut very loudly.

Cons: Staff was fine, but someone was let into our room while we where still in there. Not great on that. Housekeeping woke us up at 830 to clean when check out was listed at noon.

Cons: Limited choices for breakfast. No fresh fruit was provided. Hallways were warm. "Starbucks" did not offer alternate mikes - soy.
