Cons: Gap between vent and drywall, shower floor and tub was not as clean as I would have liked, tv didn't work in the bathroom. Very off putting to have people come up to you when your on the patio of Tastings and ask for money or other rude things.

Cons: Other than the drain to the tub being disconnected. Their was a staff member who seemed a little irate when talking to me. It's not hard to read vibes off an individual who is used to dealing with a certain social class verses common folk. I think no matter the wealth status all guest should be treated equally. At the end of the day we still pay to stay at this establishment no matter if you are blue collar or white collar.

Cons: My bank card was charged when I paid cash. It happened on Saturday which was over the holiday weekend (Labor Day) I just received the funds into my account today which is Wednesday. I received no discounts for my inconvenience just my parking money back which was 47.00 dollars. I thought I would at least get a free stay on JW or a discounted room. Did not live up to the 5 star experience.

Cons: The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are really nice but the beds are hard as a rock and uncomfortable as hell..I have never been to a hotel that looked so beautiful but had beds like you would find in a $10 a night motel..they look all big and plush but it's like sleeping on a board with like 2inches of padding that has been smashed down to almost nothing after years of having people sleep on them. I'm not sure if the king beds are any better but the queen beds are horrible..I even tried sleeping on the couch but it was hard too. So if your like me and have a bad back be prepared to get no sleep and be in pain for the whole night. But the air conditioner was awesome!! We did find some mans sock under our couch but overall the room was very clean. If your going to Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a game or concert it is the PERFECT location and if you LOVE super hard beds then you will love this hotel!! But also be ready to pay $35 for overnight parking in the garage that's attached to the hotel unless you want to park on the street..and the hotel offers no type of discount for the parking garage, which is weird, if a hotel has no parking lot they should work something out with the garage that will pay a portion of the overnight fee for hotel guests, especially when the rooms are $200 a night.

Pros: Our stay was absolutely perfect. The staff was amazing from check in to check out (even having the valet bring our car around while we finished breakfast without our knowledge). The entire hotel is stunning. The decor in the lobby and room were impeccable. The design is definitely worth seeing and experiencing for yourself. Cons: We were told that the security fee would be 200$ or 50$ a night before our trip when I called to confirm my booking. So we budgeted money for that. When we arrived that 200$ was actually 457$. Which I know we get that back after the trip but that is absurd. And when asked about the price the attendant did not know why it was charging us that much, just that is was and said it’s my banks fault. When I asked if she could honor the original price she said she couldn’t change it and she said we couldn’t speak to a manager. So we were an extra 257$ short of money on our annual vacation because of that BS. My wife and I had plans to go to a nice pricey restaurant on our vacation and that was blown out the window because they took more than half our food and spending budget for a stupid security fee. Beware! Staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful, hotel is overpriced and has so many hidden fees. Also, no microwave in the rooms and the refrigerator doesn’t work. We will NOT be returning. We had a bad experience the second we arrived and we immediately said we would not be staying there again. Basically ruined our vacation because we couldn’t spend any money.

Pros: Our stay was absolutely perfect. The staff was amazing from check in to check out (even having the valet bring our car around while we finished breakfast without our knowledge). The entire hotel is stunning. The decor in the lobby and room were impeccable. The design is definitely worth seeing and experiencing for yourself. It seems that everything was considered, all the way down to the fragrance in the lobby.

We were there Wed - Sun and had to request our sheets be changed because they said they only change between guests. With the hot room and high temps outside, we were sweating so the sheets needed changed. Doubt we'll stay there again. Had much better experiences with less expensive hotels. Not worth the high price.

Cons: The parking sucked big time. You really could not leave your car in one spot for the duration of our stay. It was overkill with the high prices of parking downtown. The pillows on the bed were to soft so really didn't get good sleep for the 2 nights we were there. The bath tub was really slippery. Glad they had bars so you can hold on to.

Cons: The room was not very clean. Poop mark in toilet, crumbs on floor, peanut in drawer. We found a pill on the floor; we googled it and it was an amphetamine; we flushed it. The unexpected parking cost kept us from being able to purchase breakfast. There was no complimentary breakfast. House keeping knocked on our door at 9:30am on a sunday morning.

Cons: Drove 1 hour to book a room (we were already scheduled to celebrate anniversary at the adjoining restaurant). The "professional" staff told me that there was NO AVAILABILITY. (I had hoped to secure a discount for a room with the optional ways I had to do so plus we were spending about $200 in the restaurant.) Just as soon as I got to a computer I secured a choice of reservation!!!!! After I booked a room, I was given the opportunity to upgrade the room which I did. When the people in charge lie to customers, nothing else can be good. The bath tub appeared dirty; the lamp socket did not charge our phone overnight; and clock was not set correctly; shall I go on. I got sick in the middle of the night with a soar throat and cough etc. I am extremely healthy and was ok 36 hours later. Since the room was extremely dusty, I believe the sickness was allergy related.

Cons: I felt like the only thing I was spending extra money for was the convenience of the location. I had weird brown stains on the end of my comforter, one of my lamps wasn’t working, one of the lights in the bathroom wasn’t working, the ice machine was broken on my floor, and there were no signs/heads up the pool was under construction till I made it all the way up to the 19th floor. Not to mention I had placed my breakfast in the morning order on my door and no one got it so I had to call down to room service to order my food. The gentleman who I ordered service from was very apologetic and accommodated my situation. There were just a lot of little inconveniences that added up to an ok stay. Definitely wasn’t worth the price point apart from being walking distance to historical landmarks.

We had a phone issue and they were more than accommodating, We felt like they went out of their way to help us. What could have been a complete disaster worked out in the end because the hotel staff was so great and willing to help. One of them even fixed the phone issue! :) Honestly, this trip was made better by this hotel and the staff. This was the 2nd time we stayed here and will definitely go back. We loved everything!

Pros: Omni Severin is a historical hotel, more than 100 years old so it has a unique charm. Although old, rooms and services are extremely well maintained and very very clean. Also, location is perfect! We recommend it 100% .

The two waste baskets in the room had no can liners, and when we asked for some, we got two 30 gal trash bags for baskets that would fit a Kroger grocery bag. The drain in the tub was not draining very well, so we stood in water almost to the ankles, while showering. And the foods and drinks in the pantry were STUPID RIDICULOUS in price. I mean, WHO would want to purchase a pint of ice cream for $11?! A 75¢-$1 bag of chips is $4.75?! Price gouging is not right.

Cons: Our room had a dirty sock in it upon arrival, not a super big deal. The breakfast in the morning on the second day served cold pancakes.

Pros: The location at the city center and it is in a good proximity to restaurants and shopping malls. the staff where very friendly.
Cons: The access route was quite confusing, the taxi driver missed it twice!

Pros: The interior architecture was amazing and the staff were the most friendly of anywhere I've ever stayed.
Cons: The entrance to the hotel was slightly difficult to find and it felt like you were walking down a creepy dark ally to get to the entrance.

Cons: Requested two double beds. My reservation said two double beds. When I got there, they said there was none available. I asked why. They said there was a gaming convention in town and they gave my room away and there was nothing they could do. POOR!
