Pros: everything you can think of or need was provided. Luis was an angel that gave very prompt replies via whatsup communication. he kept in touch with me before and during our stay. he was friendly, spoke fluent english and very charming. the room had two separate sleeping areas and came with a balcony, bathroom, living area, and bedroom. it was very comfortable and easy walk to all the fun places to eat pintxos and museums. loved that there was an elevator to facilitate carrying our luggage. we will stay again.
Cons: parking the car to dispose our luggage was a bit of a pain but Luis tried his best by going to the parking nearby at 17 euros per day.

The Washing machine was also helpful! Coffee and a fridge in the shared little room was also good! Breakfast on the little balcony each day! Comfy bed! Great location! Hire the dbizi electric shared bikes and get around without hiking too much!

Pros: The hotel is in a beautifully renovated mansion. The common areas were tastefully done and comfortable. Our room was good size, and nicely appointed. The breakfast was limited, but excellent.
Cons: The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the old town. Our room lacked any view, other than a small enclosed terrace.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the deeming I was staying at my really wealthy friend's private home.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic property with stunning rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Very clean & good location.

Pros: The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help!
Cons: none
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at Villa Soro for 4 nights. The main building is elegant with a very warm atmosphere. I had a corner room on the first floor of the newer building which had it owns semi-private outdoor space. Both were nice. The bedroom and bathroom were of good size and quite utilitarian. The newer house has no street noise, though the area is sufficiently quiet that I would be surprised if the original house is affected by traffic noise. The staff is very polite and helpful. I chose to stay at the Villa as I thought I might find interesting people with whom to talk. Breakfast seemed like an obvious time but the bar is actually pretty lively at night. My wish was fulfilled. Members of The Morgan Motor Club were there with their glorious convertibles (British racing green, of course) and there were 2 architects from Stockholm on their way to Bilbao.
Cons: My bathroom was not adequately cleaned. I suppose this was due to the maid believing that Americans only take showers. However, there were enough clues that I take baths. The tub wasn't cleaned (or not to my standards) and neither q-tips nor hand soap were replaced in a timely matter.. I found there was too much noise transmitted from the room or rooms above which may have been just the luck of the draw in whose overhead. Note that this really is a residential area and you will have a good 30 minute walk to the bus station or even most restaurants.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Public rooms really elegant. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast buffet splendid. Cosy bar with short but delicious tapas style menu in the evening. Location wonderfully peaceful but only 20 minutes walk or promptly ordered taxi from the lively 'old town'
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property very elegant. Was a bit of a stroll to the action. But you need to walk of the food right.
Casa Rural Iketxe - Hondarribia - Building

10,0 Excellent
Pros: A comfortable stay. Easy to find with Google maps. Nice grounds and garden. Attentive hosts. Tasty breakfast. We were able to use the fridge in the kitchen to chill our drinks. Walking distance (about half an hour) from beautiful medieval town of Hondarribia.
Cons: The WiFi signal in the bedroom was not very strong. But who cares about WiFi in setting like this?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fatima and Paxti were marvellous hosts, with all the right information to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Reviews should comment on what is offered, always be honest and compare to other properties listing. I stay in dozens of properties & expect what is offered. The description of the Basque accommodation and facilities is very accurate and built by the proud couple Patxi & Fatima. I had a better room than expected with a patio door leading to an elevated terrace with lovely views. There is a large lounge and an amazing garden to walk around. As I was walking there was no hesitation in providing an early breakfast to set me on my way. I really enjoyed the company and friendship of this couple in their lovely Basque home. Across the lawn and through a field but well out of sight or sound there is a restaurant serving food and refreshment. Thank You Fatima & Patxi!
Cons: There is absolutely nothing to dislike!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Just like staying in a home in the countryside away from everything. The couple that ran the place were incredible and very accommodating. The perfect place to start the Camino Norte.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent, comfortable farm house stay, like a home from home, run by Fatima and Patxi, a wonderful welcoming couple.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room spacious and airy .Doors opened out onto private balcony ,which was also spacious. Breakfast good with fruit, croissants ,breads, cheese and meat . Great coffee and hosts very welcoming and helpful.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Charm of the couple - Fatima and husband - who run this place. Peaceful, rural - if not remote - location. B&B only, so evening meal without 15 mins driving into town was at a popular bar 200 yards walk through a field. Menu simple, served by very friendly staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: When we arrived at this traditional Basque country house we were welcomed and shown to our bedroom with en suite bathroom and sitting room. As we stayed 2 days we could experience the local area and further afield to get to know a little of Navarre. The hosts were extremely pleasant and our little spanish was well received. Excellent breakfast. The location has been fantastic as it was quite apart from other properties, situated overlooking the little town. Truly picturesque and you can see the stars at night.
Cons: A minor point but our sat nav could not cope properly and we missed a couple of arrows, so had to back track a couple of times
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fatima greeted us immediately and was very personable. She exercised our Spanish speaking abilities which was extra fun. She told us about the area, gave us a map, and even came to rescue us when we accidentally left our car in a supermarket garage over night.
Cons: The bed wasn't super comfy.

Pros: very friendly staff
Cons: A mirror in bedroom that did not steam up Full coffee pots Uncooked fish stopped restaurant being excellent
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a free welcome drink and the breakfast was really good.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It is a very nice hotel. The basic room is pretty small for a 4 star hotel. It would be nice to have a luggage rack. The last night we stayed in the junior suite and it was excellent. I would choose it next time. The breakfast was very good especially the fresh orange juice squeezer. Dinner was good. I love the location. Quiet, good area, good scenery especially from the rooftop. Easy access to downtown and the reception was great about providing information. One night we stayed was Saturday and a wedding took all the parking. We realize that any hotel with facilities will be having a wedding in the summer Saturday and ran in to the same problem at other hotels.
Cons: see above
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the great size of the room and the bed has been huge and comfortable! As we were travelling for several weeks it came as a good surprise that we could store the content of our big suitcases! The hotel is very tastefully decorated, staff super friendly, breakfast perfect! Within a few minutes walking we were in the center of Hondarrabia where we could indulge in great tapas. We liked it all and cannot complain a bit!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location, easy access to the old town, clean rooms, nice garden and terrace Free parking in the garage
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, within walking distance of the historic center of Hondarrabia, which is a cute well preserved fishing town directly across Hendaye on the French side of the river. People are very nice and the food choice is great and excellent!
Cons: Nothing negative to report, except that on a Sunday night the hotel restaurant had limited service. It gave us the opportunity to discover the old town, which is worth more time than we were able to spend!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The only hotel in 2 weeks that sweeps under the bed..... Sorry asthmatics notice these things. Staff absolutely brilliant. Help with our day trip to San Sebastian plus best tapas bars to visit but frankly you will find that all are good
Cons: That the dark chocolate ice-cream was soooooo good. I need more steps
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, and very modern. Room was comfortable, and everyone that worked there was friendly. Great restaurant, and comfortable bar area.
Cons: Difficult to find in the dark.
Pensión Aldamar - San Sebastian - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
A stay at Pensión Aldamar places you in the heart of San Sebastian, within a 10-minute walk of Concha Beach and Monte Urgull. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and an elevator. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The Pension Aldamar is located in a great part of town, kind of on the side/outskirt of Old Town. Very walkable to all things San Sebastian! When we arrived at the hotel, a friend we were traveling with became violently ill in the elevator. Roberto at the front desk could not have been more gracious. He expeditiously cleaned up the mess and got my friend situated quickly in her room so that she could rest. For this excellent customer service I would return. Additionally, the location, cleanliness and value of the room are also great! (Additional plus, the Pinxtos bar downstairs on the corner serves some of the best croquettas and foie gras in the city. Definitely try!)
Cons: The only drawback to this property is the room size. Request room #10 for a corner view of bustling street below and a king-size bed, with a slightly larger bathroom. The other rooms are quite tight with rolling luggage and two people. Bed was OK. AC was welcome!
7,9 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Very expensive for such a small room on the first floor of a mixed use building.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and nice
Cons: All was good. Maybe the room space
7,1 Good
Pros: Guys who ran it were helpful & location was great. We liked that there was coffee in tap outside the room too
Cons: It was very small & a mark on the bedsheet. Also i thought I could hear the buzzer from residents accessing pension but it could’ve been the air conditioning unit!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Small but clean. Good location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with view over to a historic building. Right near all the great restaurants and the beaches.
Cons: Shampoo and conditioner. They only had shampoo.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Clean bright room overlooking the street - excellent for people watching! Superb free coffee machine outside the door with lovely mini shortbreads .. very important after a 25k hike up and down the coastal route.
Cons: All good!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean spacious room. Coffee making facilities were a lovely touch. Towels provided for the beach.
Cons: If I was going again I'd book a balcony room as the room had no natural day light.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All great. Free water and sodas in the mini bar a lovely touch. Loved the slower gel.
Cons: A bit musty smelling on the old staircase. You did ask! As you mention lighting, it could have been a little less bright by the bed. A bit of a shock in the morning!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location Location Location Staff were exceptional helpful Cleanliness
Cons: Nothing, Zero faults with Pension Aldamar

Pros: First rate nearly five star hotel in perfect location. With a staff that did everything well and with a smilec
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The bar over looking the bay andValet parking.
Cons: Price of drinks in the bar !
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It has a perfect location right on the beach. It is an elegant old world hotel. The staff were outstandingly helpful. Lovely view even though we thought we were getting only a city view.
Cons: The room appointments could have been better. The safe was broken. The shower didn't get hot enough. There wasn't enough light. Could have used another glass. Could have used more towels. Room turndown was at an inconvenient time so it wasn't done.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It is a very nice old-fashion hotel with a history and very different flavor than many other hotels. Decor is a beginning of 20th century combined with modern facilities. The hotel is right on the beautiful swimmable beach. We extended our stay beyond original reservation through booking.com and staff was very accommodating.
Cons: breakfast buffet was rather rudimental
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Sea view from the 5th floor. Location in relation to the centre of San Sebastián. Reception staff very helpful.
Cons: Some of the staff (bar) were a little stand-offish.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Treated extremely well. Made to feel very dpecial
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is the perfect location for San Sebastian. In the City Centre and also next to the Beach.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location and quality superb
Cons: Didn’t know about construction outside our patio and couldn’t use it. No consideration by staff. We thought we were getting king bed but 2 twins pushed together. Not very romantic. Wait staff slow with service.
7,5 Good
Pros: The breakfast buffet was great and had lots of variety.
Cons: We got a “city view” room and the street across from us had construction while we were there so we woke up early every morning to construction sounds. Highly unpleasant. The hotel did not offer free water in the room like all the other hotels we stayed at for the same price. The decor is a bit outdated and furniture in the room needs to be nicer for the price of the hotel.
7,5 Good
Pros: I
Cons: 1. I was very surprised the breakfast was not included in the price quoted. 2. I was also very dissapointed that the room did not come with free bottles of water. 3. Also I was very dissapointed at the first room offered to us with city views was small and we had to pay an extra €100 per night over that quoted to get a decent size room with sea views. 4.The overall cost per night including breakfast worked out at €483.66 for a standard double room all be it with sea views.

7,9 Good
Pros: Helpfulness of reception staff, lovely and clean, good situation in the old town but still quiet. Would stay again.
Cons: Nothing not to like really it is a lovely pension but if staying longer than a night or two the tiny shower cabin and small size of the room could become an issue.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The host was phenomenal! He went above and beyond to ensure we got on the Camino.
Cons: A bit hard to find!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful in highlighting some of the best aspects of Hondarribia and beyond. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable (as was the bathroom). The pension was well placed in the high town and there were plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.
Cons: Parking was very difficult near to the pension. Even out of the main season the closest car park was always full when I passed it. I managed to park about 10 minutes away (near to the local supermarket). Although walking 10 minutes was fine with me I am sure some people would struggle finding their way through the labyrinth of streets with their luggage. The internal walls of the property were also 'paper' thin. I was kept awake a couple of times by a very loud snorer in the room next to mine and two young ladies chattering into the night on the other side.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very central next to the town and airport also. little noisy but depends on the room you get. all in all a good stay for a night cause expensive if you travel on low budget. staff is nice and helpfull.
Cons: little expensive for backpacker in my point. you got all you need warm shower etc.

Pros: A simple unpretentious hotel in an excellent location in main square very conveniently facing the car park and very close to the Gendarmerie. Warm welcome by very helpful lady owner and her staff and also husband, with an excellent little restaurant. We had a "chambre familiale" which could sleep 5 people in 2 rooms, for not a lot of money. If you like simple comfort, stay here!
Cons: Nothing really.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was just perfect , the location inside the old town was excellent. It was within walking distance of everything. The building and surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. The room was very clean and white.

Pros: First class hotel and service a little outside the main town(30 mins walk) but could not fault the hotel really
Cons: Breakfast was good -but I thought expensive at over 20 euros Also 22 Euros to park car overnight -but very secure So those add ons were not cheap-but this is a nice hotel and i would certainly stay there(and the wonderful City of San Sebastian) again
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very good
Cons: It was not including breakfast
6,5 Good
Pros: We hired bicycles and they were great value at 15 euro for morning
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean hotel with very helpful staff. A bit far from old city area.
Cons: Rooms a bit on the small side.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very good. NH Standard with all you need. Spacious rooms, coffee machine, water kettle, big wardrobes. Nice design, comfortable beds. 10 min walk to the beach, frequent busses into the old town from a very close stop. The windows can be opened!
Cons: The wooden floor had an ugly water damage in front of the bathroom, obviously for longer (room 430). I would expect that this gets fixed in this category. The duvet and its cover were stuffed under the heavy mattress to an extent I never experienced anywhere else. By trying to get it out, the entire bed was inevitably turned into a whole mess.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Thought breakfast was pricey, even after a discount
7,1 Good
Pros: The staff were great! Good restaurant and the rooms were comfortable.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, food was great and staff helpful
Cons: A walk to the beach
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff went above and beyond to assist us with secure storage for our bikes.
Cons: NA
10,0 Excellent
Pros: On our arrival the doorman Juan Antonio made a real extra effort to get our luggage, and get us parked as the access to parking was not easy to see. He was very attentive and helpful, got us all set up in hurry. An easy walk to the Promenade and beach area. Loved that the stairways are right in the lobby rather than a dingy stairwell, so you can use the stairs. Breakfast was great- loved that you could have eggs done anyway you liked- mmm omelettes. A wonderful stay

A stay at Parador de Hondarribia places you in the heart of Hondarribia, steps from Arma Plaza and Church of Nuestra Senora del Manzano. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The building and the location.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: In the parador, you are living in the middle of history. It is an incredible structure that you would be paying to tour if it were not a hotel. Our room was quite comfortable and included a beautiful view of the water, boats and France just across the river. There are several enormous public rooms that were former dining halls in the castle, filled with antiques, one with couches and a large flat screen TV for lounging. In the other, you will be awestruck when you see the six priceless tapestries by Raphael. The breakfast was very good, but we wish there was a place in the parador to get other meals, like in other paradors. The small night cafe was less than adequate. Overall, an amazing memorable experience.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A beautifully renovated & decorated historic monument on a gorgeous location (towards the seaside as well as the village), an ideal start for the holidays. Excellent breakfast, even more special on the inner courtyard (if you find a place...). Take some time to stroll through the building, e.g. to the tapestry room (with tapestries from Oudenaarde, after designs by P.P. Rubens! ;-).
Cons: Luxury has a price, and this was a bit out of range in comparison to similar locations in other parts of (Northern) Spain.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: very good
Cons: all was well
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Exquisite building, great elevated location, good sized twin beds, the most amazing sea facing room, clean, good breakfast.
Cons: Although we has a very good ceiling fan, it is still very hot in the summer months and AC is needed. For the price of this hotel I would expect at the very least free bottled water, not acceptable Parador Hondarribia!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Historic castle on hill in old town. Rooms looking out to river that forms border with France. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Cons: On the expensive side.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast, not a very big choice but everything was fresh and tasty. You could also request freshly prepared eggs in different ways cooked. Very nice to sit on the terrace and enjoy breakfast.
Cons: The very narrow parking spot.
7,5 Good
Pros: Building amazing. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Cons: Mattress very hard as were the pillows. No air conditioning was a negative given the room price. Bathtub with glass barrier was poor arrangement. Breakfast was very good.
7,9 Good
Pros: Historic building, in a lovely position in a charming fortified village.
Cons: Not much. Signage to the hotel is a little weak. Car park not huge. Coffee machine at breakfast time casuses a queue every morning. It would be much better if they served beverages to the tables.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect. And of course all the history behind it. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.
Cons: I would say that for a 4* hotel and for the prices of the rooms you could expect at least air conditioning or complimentary water. Not slippers or dressing gowns offered. The hair dryer was so old and difficult to use.

Pros: For us it was a unique experience staying in such a lovely old medieval 14th -15th century palace located in the walled part of the old town which we thoroughly enjoyed Our superior room was spacious fully appointed and very comfortable with a balcony and turret sitting area The hotel has a number of historical attraction close by but the architectural character of all the old buildings is something to behold as is all the cobble stone streets There are bars and restaurants everywhere you just have to get used to them closing around 1.00pm and opening again around 5.00pm
Cons: Our only disappointment was the WiFi reception in the room was almost non existent . However if you went down to the reception area it was OK

7,1 Good
Pros: I buildings history and architecture. Its location.
Cons: Having paid for 3 nights I would have liked a room with a better view. I read that the rooms at the top were the best and we were on the ground floor. It would have been nice to have been shown the lounge area and had an explanation of when the cafe etc were open. We only found the lounge by mistake on the second day.

Pros: What a great welcome from Kikis! She couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was immaculately clean and had a stunning view of the mountains. We explored nearby Hondarribia, which is well worth a visit. I loved all the artworks around the house, made by Kikis and her husband. The breakfast was just what we wanted- with stewed figs from their own tree, yoghurt, cheese, tomatoes, toast and excellent coffee. We are coming back!
Cons: We were happy with everything.

Pros: Clean and new!
Cons: The self service kitchen opens 8 am and if you want to leave early you have to eat breakfast in town.

Pros: Tasty breakfast, but most importantly the hosts were really great. Lovely people that make you feel at home right away! Looking back, it's sad that we had a tight schedule and planned only 2 nights here, we could've easily stayed longer.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very unique place. Everything in this place is nice and new, very clean and comfy. Place is near a very historic castle-town Hondarribia - great place to visit. This is a Dream-place for creative people and for those who is looking for serene place surrounded by rolling hills. Amazing owners - artists who may give you different workshops! Owner's art pieces decorating rooms and interiors. I've stayed in a wonderful room with over 180 panoramic view of a gorgeous nature around. This place makes you to want to do something creative - to write, to paint, to make decorative forms or just to watch how Hilda and Jose are working in their wonderful studio.
Cons: This is a hard to find place which GPS doesn't recognizes by street address. Needs few more sings on both sides of the highway warning about coming turn into a tiny path.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are very nice. The surroundings are beautiful. The breakfast is also good. And the room is very clean.
Cons: You can hear everything going on the hall.

Pros: Clean room and spaces.
Cons: The taste of the hotel is very particular. No US plug. So if you bring a shaver, you are in trouble. The hotel directory in the room was not coherent. It was written the gym was openned untill 10pm and when you arrive their, it was open only untill 9 pm. The room door didn’t close totally so I had to make sure it would close behind me. In order to access to the wifi, I had to proceed to certain pages that the receptionist didn’t give at check-in. NO COMPLIMENTARY WATER. I’ve been to many other places with better amenities and at least a welcoming water.

Pros: I have been wanting to stay at this hotel for years, and the experience was fabulous. All the rooms have themed actor’s rooms, we had Sofia Loren. We would definitely stay here again soon.

Cons: Everything was good
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything great, I'd repeated it in the future
7,9 Good
Pros: The Central location. Everything is on your doorstep. Bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Great cleaning staff.
Cons: With the location comes the noise of the surrounding bars (this was a Sat evening tho). The lady on reception was lovely. The waiting staff in the bar/restaurant could do with some training on politeness with customers. We had coffee and a snack at 11am, we felt totally in the way, as they swept the floors under the tables we were sat at with no smile grunt or apology for doing this. Just a smile and a ‘would you mind if I just do this while you sit there’ would have been enough.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here many times which says it all! The location is excellent and the rooms so pleasant. Also the car parking is great
Cons: Nothing really
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very comfortable hotel and in a great location for walking everywhere . The room was very clean and beds comfy
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like
4,8 Okay
Pros: Overpriced dump that doesn't deliver what the price tag promises. WiFi wasn't working, which in 2016 just proves they didn't care enough to get a reliable connection (I needed it for work, not entertainment). Nor was it fixed during the time we were there. The "hotel parking" is blocks and blocks away, which defeats its purpose. And the maid barged into our room without even knocking, embarrassing my naked wife. Seriously? A bad experience at any price, but sbsolutely horrible for what this place charged
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located. Bedroom very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Staff superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Liked the secure parking.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful and accessibility to the airport was easy peasey.

Pros: We love this hotel, it is so central and close to fantastic restaurants and also walkable to the beach. We visit Hondarribia regularly and we always stay at the Jauregui, its fantastic.

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Stylish and comfortable rooms. The faculties were excellent and the staff were fantastic. We had to print out two documents for work of over 30 ages each This was no problem They could not have been more helpful. Plus excellent facilities for bikes
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The position of the hotel and the view from our bedroom. Staff were very helpful and informative when requesting information regarding local attractions / restaurants / tapa bars etc. Staff found me a parking space outside of the hotel after moving several cars to allow me to park very helpful and it was free.

Pros: Managers extremely helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to book restaurants, advise on local area. Breakfast was stunning - both the food and the view! Loved it!
Cons: Not that important - but you do have to drive into town. Location is on a steep hill. Great for views but not really walkable for us to the old town.

Pros: Location
Cons: Beds were extremely uncomfortable. The pillows & linen were cheap & irritating to the skin. The hotel was noisy & not clean. Especially the kitchen area. The fridge was disgusting

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff couldn’t be more helpful , we had a wonderful trip and will definitely return
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I chose this location for it's proximity to La Concha Beach and based on other reviews. I won't lie, it is pricey, but it was a well worth it splurge! I requested a beach view and it was totally unbeatable. It was postcard perfect. The location was right on the "boardwalk" type of separation from the beach. Located steps away from restaurants on the beach as well as the Perla Spa. There is a fairly good restaurant in the hotel that has a reasonable breakfast buffet and great coffee. The hotel itself was quaint and charming. The elevator was old school and fun. The staff were friendly and informative. The rooms, while small, were updated and very clean. The balconies offered spectacular views and modern balcony doors that crack open in a safe way so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Only about a 10 minute walk from the Old Town where the most amazing food scene awaits you. Go in another direction and you had great shopping and sight seeing. Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: The rooms were a little bit tight, but worth it for the view! Everything else was great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best option in all of Handaye overlooking the beach. Very new and clean. The only hotel with a terrace and great views. The beach had a 2 mile boardwalk and apparently the largest sand beach in all of the Basque coast.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location o the seaways lovely. Hotel restaurant is closed more than it is open. The building is very old and while this is somewhat charming, the slanted staircase is a safety hazard and the floors in the room are also slanted. Other elevator is difficult to use and there are no bell persons to assist. For the price I would expect more.
7,9 Good
Pros: Excellent location right on the beach.
Cons: Our room was small and quite dated with the decor and furniture. We could hear noise from the loft every time it was used.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location and clean room.
Cons: Not very sound proof roof room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location and price!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location right on the beach with a amazing view. DO PAY THE EXTRA TO GET A BEACH VIEW. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and had some good ideals of what to see in town. Breakfast was good and worth the money. Room was large, bath room nice. Board walk right out the back door. Lots of restaurants and shops near by.
Cons: No air conditioning. Did cool down at night, but We slept with the balcony door open. If you drive there, Parking a car in the garage is very very tight.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Employees attention, service and help disposition.
Cons: Temperature controls and room layouts. So, so.
