Very comfortable room within walking distance down to the beach area back up very steep hill.
Shower poor pressure in bedroom signs of a water leak from bathroom above.
Away from the crowds and noise. Quiet
Terrible, terrible smell when we opened the window at night. Had to close the window. Punishing walk up the hill it’s built on. It’s really designed for someone with a car, not a car-less traveler.
Location was ok and a nice walk downhill to the beach. However I think less able people would find the hill back to be hard although you can get a taxi. Buffet breakfast offered a wide range of food and the bar serving food until late was great.
The rooms felt tired in places. We some had marks on the walls and what looked like a mould patch on the ceiling. There was also a chip in the laminated flooring. We were given one bottle of water on arrival which was not replenished along with no further tea, coffee or milk being refilled from the following day. When I’m paying €250 euro per night I would expect a free bottle of water per day in the room and at the very least the tea, coffee and milk to be replenished daily. So overall I do not rate this hotel as value for money and would not book it again if visiting the area again.
The buffet breakfast was great. The pool was great. Beds were very comfortable and the pillow menu was great. Clean and enough space for 3 friends traveling together. Would recommend.
Great pool and we liked the location - you need to allow for a 30 minute walk to the centre or up on a bus. The breakfast was fantastic - but should be for the price!
