9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were all friendly and it was easily accessible to town. Hotel was amazing
Cons: The beds were a little uncomfortable but that’s prob due to us :) the 1st night we struggled with the room temperature but once we found out how to amend it, it was great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel. The staff is very kind and friendly. The rooms have everything you need. Very convenient location, especially if you travel by car. Great breakfasts!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We ere treated to an extra special breakfast in a lovely environment. we were close to the down town attractions and the staff oriented us well on what to see, where to park and how to make the most of our experience. Bathroom was large and well appointed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, walking distance to beach, restaurants and old town. We had a room in the back building. Room was very spacious and quiet. Was nice that we could hear birds chirping in the evening. Great rain water shower head. Very nice and comfortable common areas. Staff were all very polite, helpful and professional.
Cons: The carpet in the room was looking a bit old. Maybe time to replace or just replace with a hard floor? Just a suggestion. Also, would be nice to have USB charging port in room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at Villa Soro for 4 nights. The main building is elegant with a very warm atmosphere. I had a corner room on the first floor of the newer building which had it owns semi-private outdoor space. Both were nice. The bedroom and bathroom were of good size and quite utilitarian. The newer house has no street noise, though the area is sufficiently quiet that I would be surprised if the original house is affected by traffic noise. The staff is very polite and helpful. I chose to stay at the Villa as I thought I might find interesting people with whom to talk. Breakfast seemed like an obvious time but the bar is actually pretty lively at night. My wish was fulfilled. Members of The Morgan Motor Club were there with their glorious convertibles (British racing green, of course) and there were 2 architects from Stockholm on their way to Bilbao.
Cons: My bathroom was not adequately cleaned. I suppose this was due to the maid believing that Americans only take showers. However, there were enough clues that I take baths. The tub wasn't cleaned (or not to my standards) and neither q-tips nor hand soap were replaced in a timely matter.. I found there was too much noise transmitted from the room or rooms above which may have been just the luck of the draw in whose overhead. Note that this really is a residential area and you will have a good 30 minute walk to the bus station or even most restaurants.
Hotel Leku Eder - San Sebastian - Bedroom

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a fabulous location with wonderful views. My son and I would walk down to San Sebastián in the morning and then catch the cable car back to the hotel at the end of the day; really enjoyable. The breakfast was great. The breakfast room looks out over the cliffs and coast and breakfast itself was a wonderful spread. We will definitely return and thoroughly recommend this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the rooms is spectacular The owner is very helpful and he is grandson of the original owner
9,0 Excellent
Cons: Nice friend and cosy
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We spent one night at Hotel Leku Eder which is a very comfortable, family run hotel located on a hillside overlooking the ocean. There was free parking and a regular bus to the centre of San Sebastian (which took about 20 minutes) stopped right outside. Our room had a balcony with good views of the sea and we enjoyed the peace after the bustle of San Sebastian. The staff were very helpful and gave us maps and information about the area. They don't do dinner, but the breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend staying there.
Cons: There are no restaurants/bars close by but it was fine using the bus. You can't really walk to town.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly helpful staff and the bus service to and from the town centre.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This quiet inn is on a mountainside overlooking the ocean. Get an ocean view room if you can. Although the bus to town stops right outside the hotel, it is cheaper for four people just to get a taxi into town and back. Very nice breakfast with a fab view! I wish we could have lingered over breakfast, enjoying it.
Cons: Some people might not like the remoteness from 'downtown" San Sebastian, but the view compensates. Ten-minute taxi ride to restaurants.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, great location with fantasy view. Tasty treats especially gluten free
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was awesome. Great attitude and helpful with directions to bus, restaurants and airport. Breakfast was delicious. They even set up early for us as we had an early flight.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Truly our best stay in Spain thus far.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for our 2 night stop over.. bus stop right outside .. continental breakfast plenty of selection ..double bed was so comfortable

Cons:
7,3 Good
Pros: The staff are very knowledgeable and are very friendly and helpful. The view of the lighthouse and the Atlantic is pretty. A few minutes' walk from the hotel will give you a wonderful view of San Sebastian. With the information given by the staff, you can get to the city readily but having a car is definitely was helpful to drive around to nearby sites.
7,3 Good
Pros: Dramatic location overlooking the bay from mountain top from the breakfast room. No restaurant, but helpful receptionist served me toast with cheese and ham in the evening- the same as breakfast.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Why is this 2 star? One of the nicest places we have stayed in. All the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. Loved the wooden furniture. As for the view it was to die for both from breakfast room and balcony.
Cons: Only complaint is I wish it was closer.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely room and beautiful views over the bay. Excellent value for money.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and lovely big room with spacious bathroom. Good water pressure in the shower. Very clean
Cons: Unfortunately due to location, it was a very noisy room at night time - street noise and vehicles. This can’t be helped but perhaps extra glazing on windows should be considered!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to pintxos bars, old town sights and beaches. Nice touches with free coffee, tea, water and other drinks in room. Very friendly staff, provided good recommendations on where to eat.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has an excellent location! It is within walking distance to soo many sights and tapa bars. The room is small but had good sized closets to help us keep organized. It was very clean and comfortable.
9,2 Excellent
Cons: Size of elevator fit more luggage in
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Pensión Aldamar was exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean, comfortable, charming, and in a great location.
Cons: Honestly, no real complaints. The only sort of surprise was that our balcony was shared. We visited in the fall so it was too cool to sleep with the door open, but if that was something we wanted to do, I'm not sure we would have felt comfortable doing so since we shared the balcony with our neighbors.
7,5 Good
Pros: The little amenities that were available in the bar for free and the free coffee with cookies in the morning.
Cons: The room was too small. Maybe it would be good idea to have a sign/indication of the hotel in the main door, since it was not easy to find it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly situated, helpful staff and clean!

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient spot
Cons: The room fronted onto a main street which meant that there was some traffic noise into the evening, although it quietened down later on. The room was very tight and because there is no common area, we had nowhere to sit quietly.

Cons: Breakfast was adequate but limited in its scope
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. Location was good for the Anoeta area, where the marathon was starting from
Cons: Breakfast was not such great value for money and bed a little firm, but these are not major issues
5,4 Okay
Pros: It is a lovely hotel with a great design and generally clean.
Cons: The rooms were very hot and as the extractor fan didn’t work, it felt very humid (and smelly)in the room all the time... we have raised this issue with reception and the answer who had was that the aircon couldn’t be activated and if we wanted to solve it we had to open the window... being in a main noisy road... this sounds very unreasonable...
5,4 Okay
Pros: Clean room and spaces.
Cons: The taste of the hotel is very particular. No US plug. So if you bring a shaver, you are in trouble. The hotel directory in the room was not coherent. It was written the gym was openned untill 10pm and when you arrive their, it was open only untill 9 pm. The room door didn’t close totally so I had to make sure it would close behind me. In order to access to the wifi, I had to proceed to certain pages that the receptionist didn’t give at check-in. NO COMPLIMENTARY WATER. I’ve been to many other places with better amenities and at least a welcoming water.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located in the heart of San Sebastián. Ideal place to stop if running the marathon. Very clean room and nicely themed around films.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quirky movie-themed hotel. Reception so helpful with any requests, a very quiet, comfortable and dark room too. 15-20 mins walk from the centre but if ever tired, plentiful buses from opposite the hotel.

Cons: No restaurant open for evening food.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very considerate and helpful employees Clean rooms and comfortable beds Easy taxi access to city
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were really fantastic, especially due to my terrible Spanish we had a misunderstanding about our booking/room but they sorted it out, for which we were really grateful. They were also helpful providing a map and marking many sights, as well as instructions for the bus and bus tickets. The view is amazing and the location is perfect. Bus stop is a few mins walk. We took a taxi from old town back to the hotel in the evening and cost less than €8. The gym was the cleanest hotel gym I've ever been in, plus it has a lovely view! The rooms were also spotless and well equipped. The lobby is spacious and comfortable.
Cons: Our parents ordered a continental breakfast (€6.90 for toast, juice & coffee) but were not told exactly what they could / could not have. They went to make a second piece of toast and got in big trouble from the breakfast staff. They were pretty upset at being told off by the staff. No-one informed them only 1 piece was permitted. And 2 pieces of toast for a continental breakfast seems pretty normal to us, but apparently not so at this hotel. Other than this, everything was lovely.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Danyelle and Jezabella. Hotel is very eco-mindful
Cons: No Kleenex in room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with bright, spacious, modern rooms. We opted for a slightly more expensive room with a view and it was well worth it. Fabulous views over San Sebastian and surrounding mountains. The breakfast selection was one of the best we experienced in Spain. For tea drinkers, there were even teapots! Downhill walk into town and Number 16 bus will leave you most of the way back up.
Cons: Staff could be a little more engaging.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We were offered a lovely spacious room with great views of the town. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
Cons: We only ate breakfast at the hotel once but felt there could have been more options available for the price.

Pros: The Hotel was just amazing, our room huge and decorated to the highest standard. The bathroom was a little small but more than adequate. The staff were amazing, especially Oscar and Amelia at Reception but that’s not to say the others weren’t great as well. Can’t wait to go back.
Cons: Nothing at all!

Pros: Excellent hospitality, especially the wonderful cleaning staff and bartenders!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in a very nice part of San Sebastian. The breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly.
Cons: The bed and pillows were very hard, while the heating in the room excessive. The air conditioning didn't work and we could not open the windows as we didn't want our baby to catch cold. We didn't sleep well because of the heat.

Pros: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Room was very comfortable - enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Shower was perfect! Staff was friendly an accommodating - breakfast buffet was excellent I will recommend and come back next time I visit San Sebastián
7,1 Good
Pros: This was a busy hotel , but in a quiet location, a half hour walk along the seafront to the old town. The bar was lively, and full of locals , which was nice, and there were a few tables outside on the street for late night drinks. We had plenty of complimentary water in the room. The room was nice, spacious and modern. The wifi was pretty good too. There is a supermarket fairly nearby though for any extras. We never had food here, so can't comment on that..
Cons: The bed wasn't very comfortable - could only last 3 nights on it, and the pillows were like slabs !

Pros: Good location.
Cons: To much noise from the street. We found a bottle of champagne on ice in the room, which was very nice!!! We thought about tasting it the next evening. In the morning somebody took it. That was not a nice gesture.

Pros: This hotel exceeded expectations, and provided unexpected value for money. The location is excellent, and only a short walk from the seafront, restaurants, and all the sights. The staff were very helpful, ordering taxis, and printing our boarding cards. They provided shaving kits, toothbrush and toothpaste in the rooms, which was great, as I had forgotten mine! Will return to San Sebastian, and will stay at this hotel again!
