Cons: I was double charged by the online company that I found through your website. They then told me they would not give me credit for the extra charge. I had to ask my credit card company to cancel payment.
Pros: Staff was OK, but they had no cars “for 1-3 hours.”
Cons: No cars available in spite of having a reservation.
Pros: Staff was awful. Car wasn’t ready for an hour. And when I returned it. The staff was saying that I shouldn’t expect any gold benefits because it’s going bankrupt anyway.
Cons: There was nobody at the office to drop off and check the car. So not sure if I’ll be charged extra.

Cons: Hi Kayak, my wife and I were unable to pick up this rental. We had a terrible experience that led us to wait at the rental desk for almost an hour until we made a reservation under her name. Basically, the credit card machine there was unable to scan my credit card that I used to make the reservation, which I have no problem using at other credit card machines and even used less than an hour after the terrible Hertz experience. They refused to scan my debit card that I also carry or my wife’s credit card. When I asked what the solution was, they asked ME to call the Hertz customer service desk. What?! THEY are Hertz customer service. Of course, it was just past 5 pm pacific time so the national customer service desk was closed. As we were rushing and at this point had already waited nearly an hour without success, we took their alternative solution which was to create a second reservation under my wife’s name and for me to cancel this reservation later. This second reservation was over $30 more expensive than the first. As such, I’d like a refund of this reservation plus at least the difference between the reservation she had to make. This is unacceptable customer service.

Cons: Car wasn’t totally deodorized when we first got it. Some other rentals a bit cheaper.
Cons: The pick up took longer due to a women in front of me having issues wither her car and my car also was not ready by my pick up time. The tire pressure signal came on almost immediately after picking up the rental.

Cons: I found it surprising that rental prices are high despite a covid induced slump in travel and rentals for travelers. I would have expected price to collapse with demand. But instead feel like prices don’t match current reality.
Pros: Excellent vehicle for money paid.
Cons: There was no toll fastpass provided. I had to pay a convenience charge for everyday I used a tollbooth. The fee was $6 a day. This was not made clear to me when I picked up the rental car. Not good!!
