Pros:The car was good.Cons:One of the staff members' masks was below their nose almost the entire time. They gave the car to me empty on gas. The tire air pressure was also low so I had to go pay to fix that, even though I've never done it before since I don't own a car and hence why I was renting one. I spent extra money doing that since I didn't know what I was doing and needed to try multiple times. They also charged me for 8 days of tax and insurance rather than the 7 that I had booked.Reviewed Jul 22 2020

They did NOT have a car available!!!Cons:I am done with Kayak. I made the reservation through Kayak on Enterprise car rental and Kayak failed to deliver on the reservation. Waisted our time by NOT having a car available for us and according to the agency in Union Square, San Fran, for 50 other customers. It is an unacceptable excuse for both Kayak and for Enterprise Car Rental to just say "sorry!!!" We are tourists in San Fran and count on that rental car to be available as promised. The agent tried to shrugged it off by "I am sorry."Reviewed Sep 6 2016

mislead on rental eligibilityCons:I called before I reserved a car to confirm that being 23 I would be able to rent a car and was assured "come on in, we'll get you a car. we may need to speak with a supervisor, but it wont be an issue" Was called 24 hours in advance to confirm my reservation and asked again and again was assured "come on in, we'll get you a car." Went in the next day and they would not get me a car because I had just moved to the city and didn't have any bills with an SF address. The supervisor wasn't helpful in the least and was very rude and didn't even stay to resolve, only said they can't help me and then left for lunch. Was very disappointed in the service, and when I left to go to Hertz the employee behind the desk didn't even say goodbye or anything to that effect. Will never rent enterpriseReviewed Jan 28 2016

Was given the wrong vehiclePros:NothingCons:I tried to call Kayak to complain the morning I picked up the car - I booked a convertible, went to pick it up and on arrival was told there had no cars at all left. They eventually found me a sedan and said I could t have a convertible. I was offered no refund and did not get a convertible. Enterprise rental told me I have to sort it out with Kayak, but their offices were closed on Sunday so I was forced to take the wrong car at risk of not getting a refund and having no car. Also the tank was completely empty as they said they didn't have time to prepare the car.Reviewed Sep 13 2016

First Class Professionalism with Enterprise CustomPros:The Enterprise customer service was indeed the absolute BEST service I've ever had from the many auto rentals I have used in my life. I really mean it !!!! From the quality representative at the desk inside (thankfully, with no hard sell for insurance and hidden fees) to the extremely well-dressed professional who greeted me at my car and treated me as if I was flying first class. Even the rep in San Jose when I returned the car was dressed VERY professionally and treated me with utmost care, making sure everything was to my satisfaction. Enterprise really did make me feel important and this was indeed memorable. I am not usually impressed with auto rental companies standing-out above others in the customer service department and therefore don't really care who the company is, just so I get a car and a decent price. However, Enterprise definitely impressed me with their customer-service in a class all its own-------way above ALL the rest ! Enterprise, you definitely have won me over and I will now seek you out specifically when I rent cars in the future. Only Enterprise from now on !!!Cons:Nothing.Reviewed Mar 9 2016

Poor customer servicePros:NothingCons:I phone enterprise advantage following concerns about fluid escaping from the car I had stopped at night at the side of a motorway. I was told breakdown would contact me within an hour. 3 hours later I was told no one would come out to me because I had not purchased optional breakdown cover and therefore I would have to pay for towing back to sanFrancisco. Cons:The car booked is a Chevriket tahoe. The car on collection was a buck enclave which is not as big and came in a configuration that was not suitable for 5 people plus luggage. Hey should not be on the same class.Reviewed Jan 8 2017

seamless operationPros:everything was seamless, the staff were very helpful too. I was apprehensive of the lack of firm booking confirmation from kayak, all I had was a reservation. but my concerns were unfounded, we got exactly what we ordered and loved the car!!Cons:there was some ambiguity around charges and I wish they would include basic insurance in the prices at the comparison stage. you end up paying about twice as much as you think.Reviewed Sep 6 2017

Terrible service.Pros:Car was good, but wasn't cleaned between rentals.Cons:Pick-up was a nightmare. We arrived and were told to come back in an hour. 1.5 hours later we were still waiting. Other customers in the shop had starting to get very vocal as they had been waiting for over an hour. In the end several customers started complaining. Close to two hours later we finally had a car. Not the easiest car pick up, but not the worst either!Pros:I liked the fact that the car rental place has its own station on the air train route. Relatively straightforward at the counter although time consuming. Car ran well and did what it was supposed to d. Too cold for convertible top down.Cons:Enterprise is the furthest away for the weary traveller. You do have to go from one line at the counter to another line at the point of rental (Where the cars are!) which seems very inefficient. The car looked great, but then again it was very dark in the garage. When we got outside we found the car to be filthy inside and damp. The rear quarter window did not fully go up. The east were worn out and that is bad, as the car only had 30,000 miles on it. We did mention this to the lady at the return and she did take $50.00 off of the total price for us, which was nice of her.Reviewed Nov 7 2017
