Pros: When booked, we had hoped for a hotel within walking distance of all our past memories - from the Citadel to the waterfront - and The Prince George fit the bill perfectly. We went to the Tattoo on Friday evening - and when booking, had no idea where the building centre holding the event was. Imagine how pleased we were to learn it was across the street!

Pros: I was taking my daughter to Dalhousie university, a 4km round trip from this hotel. Lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the harbour, walking distance to shops and restaurants....and the campus. A reasonable drive to shopping and sights outside of the city centre. The room was very spacious with a handy mini kitchen area. A good sized decent fitness facility with hot tub. I will be back, perhaps with family. Two levels of parking underneath. The girls at the front desk were very helpful with directions anywhere I asked to go. I was thankful for the use of the business centre and printer for the printing of my boarding pass before I left.

Pros: We stay at this hotel frequently. It is our favorite place to stay in Halifax. We love that the sleeping area is separate, that way you can have guests in your room. Pros: Check in process was abysmally slow, and even though I had checked in online for one room and prepaid for parking, parking was full so had to find another spot. Fortunately, a public garage is right across the street. Annoying though. The desk clerk said he would credit our bill for the prepayment, but failed to do so. That stated, very pleasant staff and nice facility. Good location. Front desk made a great dinner suggestion for us. So things improved after a rough start.
