Pros: The B&B is really delightful and lead by very warm and friendly owners who are super-nice. The breakfast was utterly delicious with fresh fruit, a full English or Salmon and eggs and a lot more to choose from. The B&B is a few steps away from the beautiful Eastbourne beach - so if you are interested in a nice seaside holiday place - I loved it.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place with some added extras giving it a first class feel. Staff very well mannered, excellent service. Soft furnishings were very good quality. Breakfast was lovely.
Cons: The TV in my single room wasn't working properly and the remote control was difficult to work as the numbers and letters had worn off. The proprietor did fix it but wasn't aware that it only had a couple of channels viewable. However I am sure it would have been addressed had I bothered to go and tell them again.

4,0 Okay
Pros: Location for our purpose was very good. The room would have been fine if it had been heated. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Although the room was spacious & well equipped - it was bitterly cold (top floor - in the roofspace!). The outside temperature was extremely cold. So was our room. The heating in our room was not switched on until our arrival (around 5.30pm). Not a warm welcome! We went out for a meal & returned just after 10pm when the heating was turned off. If we return it will need to be be in the late spring or early autumn. Being put in the roof space, the room will be freezing in winter & boiling in summer. The whole place was virtually empty so why we were put up on the 2nd (freezing!) floor & as far away as possible is a mystery.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely friendly welcome, even with my tired grump arrival. Lovely breakfast and very helpful.
Cons: Parking needs to be advertised as limited. Due to we arrived late and all permits had been handed out to other persons staying. So I had to go find parking elsewhere. If I had known, I would of stayed somewhere with parking on site due to poorly knee and walking. But owner did also offer her own parking space up, which I was impressed with.
6,7 Good
Pros: The facility was well located and provided an acceptable standard of accommodation. The local area provided good access to restaurants and services.
Cons: The shower was either set to conserve water or set on a very low flow. Hardly any water pressure at all. The confusion about the accounts could have been better managed.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: I recommend this B&B as I felt like at home. Eastbourne is a wonderful place to explore and relax.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast good, location just right for us. Owners very friendly. Home from home

Pros: Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: We could have been informed that we could park in the permit areas, we were not aware of this and had trouble finding somewhere to park.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious ,comfortable room.Excellent breakfast,Small village area 500m around the corner, with cafes, and restaurants and a few shops. This was handy,as it is about a 20 minute walk from the town centre.Close to South Downs and Beachy head walks.Friendly helpful hosts.

Pros: n/a
Cons: Nothing springs to mind....
5,4 Okay
Cons: Had trouble parking in the rain. The self check in was easy. My ‘superior’ room was small. There was no WiFi despite the advertised free WiFi in every room. The room was cold and the radiator did not work. I slept and left without seeing anybody. The guest house served my purpose. I didn’t have to drive down from London for my work on Sunday morning. I chose one of the cheaper places to stay. Some warmth and the promised WiFi would have helped.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It’s my second time , that’s says a lot;) the weather was absolutely awful on Saturday, however we felt very welcomed . There’s a big collection of dvd free of use for guests. We ended up going for a few drinks and to cinema. Sunday was a gorgeous day and to wake up to the incredible view from bed nearly makes it up for the wet weather the night before.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast. Overlooking the sea. Very clean.
Cons: There was no information pack in our room.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The host was very lovely - she met us at the door and said hello using my name. Location is perfect and I managed to find free parking in streets around. The view from the window- amazing (a church over roof tops). Room simply, traditionally for seeside decorated. Beddind white and clean.Kettle clean and there plenty of choice if teas and coffies for the morning drink.
Cons: On advertisement was said that internet is available in rooms, bet the password was nowhere to find- we had to call the owner of hotel. And anyway, in our second floor room was not possible to use it, so weak.. Room and shower- clean, but I may sugest to wash or change shower curtain. For me personally, the bed too soft abd too bouncy, I was afraid to fall out..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: what a beautiful little find. great location , owners could not do enough for u and so lovely. place has everything you need and spotlessly clean . will defo be back . thank you for a lovely stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is just perfect, i.e., the location, staffs, breakfast, and room. Easy to find free on-street parking within 3min walking distance, even in August peak season.
7,9 Good
Pros: Loved the host , specially the hosts mother. They were very warm and sincere and lovely people. Wish I could have stayed longer. Couldn't say bye to them , so I'll take this opportunity to say thank you you bye and when you guys come to India , email me, I'll be happy to host you guys :)
Cons: WiFi was really bad and no network signal for mobile as well. Price could have been a little lesser for the room.

Cons: Drinks in the bar were really expensive, especially the mixers but the amazing staff service even made that ok.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a charming traditional hotel. It has its regulars,so that shows how popular this hotel is! Lots of chairs and sofas,as the quests are senior! Only had breakfast with this break,so can't say anything about the dinners! Table service was quick and when you ordered a tea or coffee, you get a choice of flat jack or shortbread! The only down side for me was the showers(no power shower here) I'm only nit picking! Perfect hotel, would definitely stay again.
Cons: Small room, shower head too high up! (I was quite disappointed about the shower) can get rowdy when the is a private function going on in the bar!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast by the sea wonderful, freshly prepared and excellent service. Same again for dinner excellent staff and lovely food. Our suite was lovely and spacious with huge queen sized bed. Reception staff brilliant, always responded to my emails quickly regarding car park reservation etc. before arrival. The owner and his wife are frequently seen about the hotel ensuring guests are happy.
Cons: On our last night the bar area was out of bounds for a private function which meant staying in our room as we didnt want to sit in the reception area as the little lounge area outside the bar was already in use. I understand that the hotel has to to be creative to run financially through the winter period but it was a shame not to enjoy the ambiance of the bar for our last night.

Cons: Car park was effectively open to the public and was not secure, a facility for which we had to pay.

Pros: The location is perfect and very quiet. Our room was very comfy and although it faced the street, we had a side view of the sea, which was superb. Parking was free, outside on the street, with vouchers obtained from our friendly hostess. The hosts were a lovely couple.
Cons: Having travelled a lot, and stayed in hundreds of places including B&B’s, we’ve never had a table allocated for breakfast which matched the room number. A bit regimented I thought. The breakfast was only luke warm, which included the coffee and hot chocolate, both mornings. We appreciate food is pre cooked and sits in warmers but it should be served hot.
5,0 Okay
Pros: the location for town centre and beach front
Cons: the bed/breakfast needs to be updated also breakfast needs to be cooked by lady of hotel and not husband

Pros: The Reymar is situated just a stone's throw from the beach and a short walk into town. My room was larger than the average single room in Eastbourne and was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee provided in the room is a bonus. The bed was just the right comfort for me. A great selection for breakfast cold and hot. Nick cooked a great veggie breakfast for me that was served on a warm plate. There is also a communal living room where you can also help yourself to tea and coffee whilst watching the large tv. Great seaside theme decor throughout the premises. Lovely friendly staff.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, were very helpful, going out of their way to assist and make sure that the requirements were met, including going out of their way to provide additional equipment.
Cons: The only drawback is the parking, which is on the street, and the local are is exceptional busy, so it can take some time to find a space.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for enjoying Eastbourne and a good old walk on the prom. Although the room was an economy room, it certainly met our needs, Very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was great, cooked to order and nice and hot. As much as you like for cereal, fruit juice, toast and yogurt. Plenty of tea and freshly brewed coffee.
Cons: When we arrived the room was really cold as the heating was not on and considering the time of year, November, the heating went off overnight and getting warm after such a cold start was difficult.

Pros: We found the Mowbray to be very welcoming and comfortable. It is a beautiful Edwardian building and they've kept the historical feel in the house. The location is great and easy walking distance to everything. We had one of the best breakfasts we've ever had incl expensive hotels. Would definitely recommend.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We needed to check in after 8pm (reception staffed up to 8pm) and staff called to provide instructions on how to enter, where to park and how to apply permit and once we arrived this went easily and without issue. Great breakfast selection served by friendly staff.
Cons: This is a very minor point so still gave 10/10 overall - The window in our bathroom had obscured glass and was on third floor however there was no blind to drop so needed to switch light off for showering and it was low light (8am) - simple to fix I'm sure!
