9,2 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you walk in, the hotel is incredible! Very friendly staff and the rooms were exquisite. Food and drinks are a little more on the expensive side but why not splash some cash when you’re staying in luxury...
Cons: Have better access to taxi services as in having a taxi rank nearby or possibly a map of the area.

Pros: From arrival to departure the landlady couldn’t have done more to help us. Very knowledgeable too.
Cons: Nothing
7,9 Good
Pros: staff and location
Cons: wifi didn't work
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made the place very pleasant to stay in.
Cons: Going up the stairs with no banisters as I am disabled and find stairs a bit tricky.
5,4 Okay
Pros: It was clean and a good location.
Cons: The rooms are pretty small and I had a room where the heating was on all the time and I was told to keep the windows open however I had my 2 year son with me and the windows were low and he could jump out. Tv was tiny and didn’t work and the facilities were a bit measly The staff were a little pushy and weird. A bit full on. Trying to get me to swap to the better room then doing the same to my friends. Saying we could pay later but changing her mind and bringing the card machine up to room as soon as we arrived like we were going to leave.... we hadn’t even put our bags on the floor yet!! Sharing a bathroom is also a bit weird. It’s on the top floor and you are sharing with someone on the bottom floor. Noisy and you can hear everything they are doing. Overall I wish I stayed at the mercure bush. Cheaper but better rooms with more space and a carpark. Location same too.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room and location was perfect. Our host was so friendly, welcoming and greeted us with such care. Breakfast was varied with a healthy selection. Room was clean and we had a great sleep. Everything was really nice. I highly recommend this B&B.
Cons: Nothing everything was lovely.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything you might need in Farnham, particularly the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful with directions. The place had a lovely, personal feel about it.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Never entered a room through the bathroom. Very unclean - flush did not work, couldn’t open windows so room was stuffy and hot. Could not reach anyone despite trying several times to a number for emergency contact. Absolutely rubbish. Would avoid at any cost.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Maxine & Gabriel are lovely caring people who made us feel really welcome. Had a great 2 night stay at 1 Park Row and would love to come again. X
Cons: Nothing. All good
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly B&B, and very accommodating in letting me have the room key early (as I was going to a wedding). Single room was great value for money - small but clean and perfectly adequate. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, including some lovely pastries.
Cons: It took me a while to work out how to close the window! (Held open by a bit of wood on a hinge system - had me stumped for a while!)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Location was just right for our needs.
Cons: Stairs a bit steep for a couple in their 80's (us) - not a problem for us but a bit more handrail provision would have helped, especially if we had been carrying luggage for a longer stay.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent living with extremely customer oriented personal! The restaurant was also outstanding!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The fact the hotel is away from the pub, was a welcome surprise. I was worried about noise from it. Couldn't hear the pub or the busy road. Had a fantastic night's sleep. The motion sensor light in the bathroom is a really clever idea. Nespresso machine is a bonus, and it's great to have a fridge and fresh milk for tea and coffee. Overall the room was fantastic, and very well thought out. Lovely breakfast and the female server was very friendly. The best black pudding I've had in any hotel.
Cons: My only slight quibble with the room was the sofa bed. Luckily it was o ly for my 3 year old but would have been terribly uncomfortable for an adult or older child. Also the design meant it sloped down from the sofa end so the foot of the bed needed to raised by about 5 inches. Also breakfast room could do with aircon. It was sweltering.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful suite. Good food. Great staff. Perfect stay apart from the squeaky bed
Cons: Boy did the bed squeak!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful and attentive Rooms were clean and comfortable
Cons: Hotel address suggests Farnham but it is a bit outside Farnham, not easy to find and on a main road so location was not great if you wanted something in Farnham itself
10,0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast and service was excellent
Cons: Even though i had booked 3 nights i had apparently only paid for two on the app
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly. Lovely, smart pub interior.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely clean well equipped room .Good breakfast and evening pub meals..Very helpful polite staff . Complimentary drinks in room welcome on a very hot bank holiday ( and air con ) Close to Farnham in car .
Cons: Prefer walk in shower not over bath . New bath mat needed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was freshly cooked, excellent with great service. The evening before I was served a portion of triple cooked chips that were a bit of a disaster. They were promptly replaced with a portion of fries and we received a complimentary glass of wine each, so fair play.
7,5 Good
Pros: Pleasant hotel, comfortable and friendly

Cons: N/A
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We were visiting family so for us the location was perfect. The breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and cooked part was nice and hot......you don't often get HOT mushrooms in a B&B!!! Staff were very attentive but not in your way and nothing was a problem for them. Property is on a quiet road and the bedding and towels were nipping clean and of good quality. Plenty complimentary beverages....and biscuits!! Staff were chatty and friendly.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome. Small comfortable room. Enjoy the breakfast, just feel at home.
Cons: Nothing really.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, friendly owners, breakfast amazing and lots of choice.
Cons: Water pressure in shower a bit low but useable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed a few times already (I am a solo traveler). I liked the fact that I was given a key code from the main door & was able to arrive at very late evening after 11 pm. My room was ready for me & even the lights were switched on. I was always able to park my car. I like to stay in clean places & this place meets my expectations. The price is reasonable too. I liked an Indian restaurant close by. Will stay again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lots of parking available. Easy early check in process. Clean tidy room. Lovely shower.
Cons: Quite noisy guests showering in the middle of the night, chatting and banging doors.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What can I say. Trip was for my daughter and friends after successful GCSEs passes. Hotel was very clean, staff were all friendly. Multiple options for breakfast both continental, full English very accommodating with my daughter who is vegan. Parked right out front, free, with no security worries. Very hot, fans in rooms for when we arrived. Rate this guest house. Would definitely return.
Cons: Unfortunately someone in the room right below me was smoking out of the window. This went straight into my room. With very little fresh air due to hot weather it made this very uncomfortable, smelly and a little unbearable. NOTE this has no reflection on the guest house, but especially for those who make bad choices, which impact heavily on others. Luckily my children were staying within another room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast very comfortable bed. We were only there for one night but excellent value for money. We had a car so the location wasn't any problem to us. I accidentally burnt a hole in the throw on the bed with an iron. I Gave them my details to pay to replace it but bless them they didn't ask for any compensation. I would 100% stay there again no question.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, clean, room good and breakfast excellent
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place was clean and comfortable. But the best bit was the breakfast, tasty hot, and a good amount of choice.
Cons: The shower was hot and powerful, but the door leaked and the shower head wouldn't stay in position. I think the mount was broken.
Bishops Table Hotel - Farnham - Building

Overview Reviews

7,1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No internet all day and night yet not warned. No sugar in room
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, very friendly, well looked after property and an excellent location. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: It’s a carbohydrate only breakfast. Bit of a problem for me as I’m on a ketogenic diet (no carbs). Still, there’s a smashing posh cafe up the road where you can stuff your face to your heart’s content, so not a disaster at all. How to get to it? Come out of the front door, turn right, walk 200 metres, cross over the road and go through the entrance to a lovely old street. If you feel as though you’re in a Harry Potter movie then you’re in the right place. Coffee is great too.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely central location nice rooms Nice bed
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bedrooms small but very comfy. Staff very helpful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfull place :). Lovely location, quiet.

6,0 Good
Cons: The breakfast was disappointing.
7,1 Good
Pros: Good location in centre of town. Helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast at £10 expensive for the limited continental menu on offer.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Spotless rooms and hotel
Cons: No cooked breakfast and the continental was very limited. Eg no cheese, ham etc.

Pros: Absolutely lovely stay! Very comfortable and homely feeling. Mary was very helpful and super friendly! Bedroom and bathroom facilities were great! Would highly recommend ☺
7,0 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast
Cons: A little too quirky, trip to bathroom is past private rooms and booking desk and adjacent to breakfast room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We had a beautiful, big, spacious room. The full English breakfast was really great. We definitely recommend the Heatherbank B&B!
7,1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was adequate. The property is very quaint. An old listed building. The owner keeps a number of "strange" animals. Children love it.
3,8 Mediocre
Cons: My room had a very strong smell of dogs so maybe pets are welcome. Old bedroom furniture (not antique)... needs replacing, broken window, flaky paintwork, uncomfortable bed. Wish I'd noticed it was a shared bathroom because I wouldn't have booked. Glowing reviews did not reflect my experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very "homely!" All the guests ate a sumptuous breakfast together at a single large table which made for very easy communication.
Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really bright, big and comfy rooms. Great and interesting place. Big bonus that there were cats and dogs! Enjoyed our stay.

The guest house has a residents' lounge with a TV. There is central heating throughout and guests can relax in the large airy dining room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. I liked the use of the shared facilities. Safe parking for the van. I really liked it here as it was all I needed and the use of a few shared facilities made it more homely and welcome. Also very good value. This place was more suited for me but might not be so much for others who would rather pay much more and stay in newer surroundings. I am definitely going to be staying again. The staff are also very polite and helpful.

Pros: Great breakfast
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean room and excellent selection for breakfast

Pros: I loved the location as I wanted to visit the park. The room was clean and comfortable and the manageress, Gurpreet, was delightful.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It's quiet, clean, friendly and you have good Wi-Fi and Mobile Data connections. Very well suited for business travellers arriving by car. There's a good hearty breakfast in the mornings to get you going, and the price for a night is excellent. I've come here several times now and each stay has been very pleasant.
Cons: The building and facilities are a bit dated, but very functional.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the place was incredible value for money. Breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable. Bathrooms were not en suite (as advertised so no complaint!) but were very clean and always available. I would certainly stay there again.
Cons: Nothing. There was building work in the adjacent plot - not Tekels fault - and not intrusive.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO OTHER PEOPLE - NICE PLACE!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: On my arrival I was upgraded from a single room to a double free of charge. The room was lovely, had everything you could want, extremely comfy bed, powerful shower and a brilliant breakfast. The private parking was a bonus too, I loved the hand made pottery which was subtly up for sale, such a nice touch. Despite it having quite a few guests during my 3 night stay I always had a parking space and never once heard any of the other guests making any noise. The squirrel pub 2 minutes down the road does amazing food for a evening meal too. It was the cheapest in the area that I could find and easily found (and I'm useless at finding things). Overall it was faultless, I really enjoyed my stay and will certainly be back if I'm down that way again, thankyou so much!
Cons: If I'm being picky maybe hot chocolate sachets in the room but that's a personal thing - struggling to think of things that wernt perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent for the places I wanted to see. Martin the host was excellent, couldn't do enough to help & make my stay most enjoyable. Breakfast was served exactly how I like it. Even freshly made porridge!

9,4 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for the Farnborough Winter Half in January, for which it is perfectly placed around the corner. Check in is an easy and automatic process though staff are on hand to help if needed. The hotel has an in-house pub, restaurant, gym and pool. I didn’t use the latter two so cannot comment but the restaurant was nice enough with polite, attentive staff and decent food. The pub is quite large with the standard selection of ales and beers and plenty of places to sit. The rooms are quite spacey, functional, business like but better than some five star hotels that I’ve stayed. Clean and tidy, no complaints there.
Cons: The shower head should be able to go higher than it does. I’m not the tallest person in the world but I had to stoop to get underneath it
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Food was good and staff very pleasant and helpful. The shower was excellent.
Cons: Room cups were not cleaned each day , we had to wash them out to make tea.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: For us the bed and pillows were too hard. Comfortable and clean room. Reception staff extremely helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately the second morning the breakfast buffet food wasn’t very warm. Although I know it is difficult keeping buffet food hot it is still disappointing that we didn’t time it right.

Cons: 4th floor room, a lot of luggage and the 1 lift was out of order. We managed to get round the back and use the staff one which was ok but still no lift on monday for check out so a few trips down the stairs needed. Air con was not great
10,0 Excellent

Pros: The Staff were very welcoming. . Everything about the room was clean, and the bed was comfy. The dining room staff were very attentive, and the full English breakfast was hot and very generous in quantity.

7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good but tea and coffee pots would be better.
Cons: Kettle lid in room was loose and did not shut. Small Table in our room not in good condition. Noisy cold water tape in our bathroom. My wife was handed a hot plate at breakfast and burnt her thumb. We could not have our original room with a 4 post bed due to damage. But the hotel did offer us another room plus a bottle of champagne plus a discount. We didn’t mind as we were only staying for 1 night.

Pros: Full English breakfast was not expected. I expecting to have a continental breakfast only. Such a nice surprise. Clean, and amenable.
Cons: Only negative, the website said we'd have a trouser press, but the staff did not know what this was. The iron board was broken and we had to borrow my parents iron from their room as ours wasn't working. We were do to go to a wedding and therefore needed the resources to do this
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff went above and beyond to help, we had an incident with our car. We accidentally locked the keys in and had to smash the window. One of the maintenance staff walked past and got us a hoover and helped us clear the broken glass, which was greatly appreciated. The receptionist was also helpful and lent us a dust pan and brush and made sure that everything was ok.

Pros: Everything the bed was comfortable, good shower very clean and great food.
Cons: Thankyou this is the 2nd time we stayed and have been very happy to be there, everything was perfect,we will be coming back soon in September to see the tribute, 5 stars to you highly reccomend
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location as a stopover for Heathrow Airport was good. Hotel was easy to find.View from the room could have been a bit better as we looked out onto the bins at the back.
7,9 Good
Pros: Closeness to the fuction we were attending
Cons: Not enough staff at breakfast the poor lady was running around so the hot food was not replenished quickly
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet despite being near a busy pub and road, Staff very friendly and helpful, decent size room at a comeptitive price.
Cons: Slightly arkward to take cases up to first floor as there is no lift. Breakfast is a mixed affair - buffet style and decent qaulity sausages and bacon were let down by dried out mushrooms and over cooked eggs left under heat lamps too long. The tea and coffee are poor quality and a real let down.
7,5 Good
Pros: As previous visit nice & quiet with friendly staff. When making requests during booking process the response was quick & professional
Cons: Unlike previous visit our experience in the restaurant was not a good one. Our starter was completely missed, my drink was wrong & some of the staff more worried about gossiping rather than working. Breakfast could not eat eggs too dry
4,6 Okay
Pros: the only good thing about the ely hotel was the morning receptionist. who was welcoming polite and very helpful.
Cons: booked a twin room on arrival only one bed. moved to room 30 and then no bedding. bedding and towels not clean. room had a damp smell to it. dinner in ely hotel was terrible. only 1 bar staff on people waiting at least 20 minutes to be served.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff were professional and friendly.
Cons: The some restaurant staff where not brilliant on customer service and the food was average.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfy, breakfast was excellent
Cons: Rooms were so hot although a fan was in the room but maybe some air conditioning would be good

Pros: The setting was nice
Cons: Having booked and paid for an executive room only to be told that it was a family room the bed was very hard and the first night we had no sleep at all we were moved the following day to an executive room which was not a lot better but at least we got some sleep we would some kind of refund for being put in the wrong room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and went out of there way to help me when travelling with a small child
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly efficient staff. Great hotel in an ideal location for us.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable; clean; convenient; easy access; good breakfast
Cons: Parking area was very full because of a wedding however I suppose it is normally easier to park. The windows don't open which meant the room got stuffy at night (even though the room ventilation system was on)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice friendly hotel
Cons: All good
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and staff went above and beyond to accommodate a disabled veteran
Cons: There were no attractions/shopping within walking distance
7,5 Good
Pros: We have stayed here quite a lot and always enjoy the breakfast, there is a good variety. The beds are very comfortable too and the twin bedded rooms have good sized single beds, unlike some hotels. Our room was a quiet one, this time! We had a free breakfast because on our previous visit the room had been less than quiet, so very pleased with the way staff handle an issue.
Cons: This hotel can be quite noisy, especially if there's a wedding. Wedding guests tend to take over the communal areas so it's as well to be aware of that. It's a very popular hotel with families too so if you want a quiet hotel, this isn't really the place to choose, at least not at the week-ends.
7,5 Good
Pros: the staff was very good and welcoming and beds are very comfort
Cons: bed side light button not found
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good
6,7 Good
Pros: The reception staff were really good so helpful. I stay at this hotel every month at the moment and this was the best reception service yet.
Cons: The food is inedible, I ordered soup for lunch, which was in a tiny bowl and cold, served with 1 piece of bread, I sent it back to be reheated and asked for butter. It came back exactly the same. So I paid £6.75 for a piece of bread and a pat of butter, as I could not eat the soup. You could tell the bar staff were embarrassed to serve it. 1 Young lady gave me a packet of crisps, as I had to go back to my course without lunch.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location
Cons: The bed was a little harder than I like and I woke up with a store back
5,4 Okay
Pros: Typical premier inn. Bed was comfortable and room had normal facilities
Cons: The room was unbearably hot despite having 2 fans. I could not even sit in my room for 10 mins when I arrived. Whilst I realise that it has been a really hot summer this year - this was week 4 if he heatwave. The staff were not helpful and no offer of even free ice water would have been nice. The restaurant next door was okay if you like to wait 45 mins for a pudding despite asking twice
6,7 Good
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: I booked the wrong premier inn so inconvenient for my needs. Room a bit cold
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location to the ferry terminal. Easy to fill up with fuel.
Cons: The 2 bundles of lady birds in the inside of the windows in the corners. Then in the night they were flying around.

Pros: Exceptional value, big room, great breakfast

Cons: Breakfast was rubbish. Could not do a fried egg. Bacon was Luke warm. Staff were unhelpful and untrained
5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel itself is a lovely building, and the staff were friendly, BUT our room was awful and - while sympathetic - no-one could do anything about it.
Cons: We paid double what a decent basic hotel in the area would cost so were really surprised to find a poky, grimy room with dirty old furniture, and a bathroom that was so bad (deeply ingrained black and brown mould in the grouting, which in places was completely peeling off, brown stains on the old white porcelain) we had to use the bathroom in the gym! We were given a small discount when we raised this with the staff, who said they were aware of the issues, but we still overpaid for an unpleasant experience. Be careful when picking a room here - the pictures do NOT represent all of them - and you won't know from the price or description. I strongly request to the hotel to rename these particular rooms 'budget' and add pictures of the bathrooms to give guests an honest choice when booking.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is set in a really nice location with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was really good. The health club and pool helped make it a very relaxing weekend.
Cons: Kids are only allowed in the pool until 11am, and the bar is a little expensive.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Beautiful building and gardens
Cons: Staff are not well trained with the expectations coming with spa hotel. The finer things in life do count, that go for service as well. Advertised as a spa hotel but the swimming pool, sauna and steam room are open to kids. Did not meet the relax expectations coming with a spa hotel. Not nearly enough relaxing chairs around the swimming pool
7,1 Good
Pros: No air con dirty silicon round bath mould on shower screen ‘and bedroom door did not shut in to frame bath panel in need of painting bed side lights had odd.lamp one warm white one day light, attention to detail could be better maybe room 58 was a last let room .when we checked in we were told we could dine When we approached the restaurant the member of staff told me we do not open till 7 so we went back at 7 only to be told curtly by f&b manager we could not dine till 8 so the staff member who we spoke to in the first place could have told us to book so could receptionist felt we were just an inconvenience however we did get a table @ 730 when I complained and was given two glasses of wine all in all not a great first stay we had a long day travelling from York to drop our son off as he had just joined the uk army so we just wanted somewhere to relax not have to hassle to get a meal and drink
Cons: See above
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location and lovely old manor house building. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was excellent. The health club was also a very nice bonus with a lovely pool and steam room and sauna.
Cons: The room was a little tired and could benefit from a refurb - especially the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bar staff were very attentive and chatty and couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one
Cons: nothing I didn't like
6,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was nice and plentiful Gym is more than ample Staff were helpful when i asked for local knowledge Location was picturesque and convenient
Cons: Had to go from room to Bar during room service as i was not able to put the cost on the room and my details had not been taken nor requested on check in. Radiator noise kept me awake even when i switched off the heating, the flowing water through the system was a continual irritant.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed with a smiling (Emma) at the reception and were helped with our luggage upstairs. The breakfast was fresh and the atmosphere was inviting. The dinner was also excellent and freshly cooked. The service was very good, especially Alana. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The surroundings are refreshing and the view is wonderful.
Cons: The lighting in the bedroom is rather dim and needs to be brighter and good for reading.
6,7 Good
Pros: The staff were amazingly helpful, thank you.
Cons: Room service failed to deliver exactly was ordered on three occasions. I was compensated by the tray charge being reduced on one of my orders. I ordered from room service three timed.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very comfy beds. and we had a good breakfast with wide selection of choices (both hot and cold). The swimming pool was lovely, good size and temerature. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Set in lovely grounds.
Cons: Dinner had a reasonable choice though the portion sizes weren't huge. Some food was very good, some not so good. We paid the additional £5 for a steak which was not worth the extra money. Our room was quite tired though I did expect this for the price that we paid.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent. Swimming pool perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable and the swimming pool complex was clean and area around it very relaxing
Cons: Fruit teas in room and knowing there was a deal on breakfast if ordering the night before. We found this out from some other guests
5,4 Okay
Pros: The pool was a good size for relaxing in
Cons: The Hotel is quite dated now and a lot of the facilities out of use. We had no air conditioning on the hottest weekend of the year and on our 2nd day there was no running water until later in the evening. There is a lot of wasted outdoor space where they could set up seating etc to take advantage of the good views and weather
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and unlimited access to the pool etc. Some nice places to eat and drink outside.
Cons: Only current issue is that they are going through a bit of a refurb at the moment. That said, there was a sign telling me that there were issues with the ceiling in the female dressing rooms - there was! - and whilst our room could have done with a bit of a refurb, they were clearly doing this room by room throughout the bits of the hotel that need it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast and nice pool and spa facilities
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool, the breakfast, and the good staff
Cons: Some grumpy guests taking pictures of me and my children at the swimming pool.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The Spa facilities were amazing
Cons: No air conditioning
7,5 Good
Cons: We were disapointed that there was no grounds with the property, so we could go for a walk with out taking the car. Having walking map routes of the area at reception would be exellent. Thank you
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food great
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so nice and welcoming, the dining area and the outdoor dining area was lovely. The hotel is close to a main road but you still felt that you had a cocoon of countryside right there. There was a water outage when we arrived, the staff was so kind and was doing everything they could to make the stay comfortable. I couldn’t be asked to complain as many others did as I knew this was all out of the hotels hands and they actually dealt with it really well. As we checked out we were told our stay would not be charged as there had not been any water - this was so kind again! Will come back if we are in the area, your staff and the fab food really makes the hotel.
Cons: The rooms were dated but clean. I know they are doing renovations and we will definitely come back as it will make the hotel a real treat.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Family room layout was perfect. Great to have proper beds for the children and not a sofa bed. Excellent Italian wine!

7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good - good choice - well cooked. Very plesant young man who was polite and helpful.
Cons: The decor was a little dated but the room was very comfortable and very well equipped. Did find a pair of old boxer shorts from a previous guest in the wardrobe which wasnt great!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ive stayed a number of times here when working in the area and will continue to do so the staff are great and very friendly and cant do enough for your requests
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the staff, they were very friendly and very helpful, and delivered extra coffee to our room as we only had 4 pods between 2 of us. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast followed by a relaxing time by the lake before leaving for home
Cons: We paid extra for a deluxe room, lake view, coffee machine and fridge. The room itself was nice and very clean but the coffee machine which was part of the package came with only 4 coffee pods, 4 sugars, and 4 milks. After a long drive I needed a couple of coffees (as they are only small) to get me back on track. The hotel were more than happy to provide more but I feel for the extra price we paid 4 pods was a bit on the mean side, also we only had one cup between us. One of the bulbs in the room wasn’t working, the tv remote was temperamental, and the fridge was warm (which wasn’t an issue as we were not using). It would not stop me booking again as the staff were very helpful and happily help with any issues, but in my opinion more attention to detail when paying for a premium room wouldn’t go amis.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ive stayed here a number of times here when Im working in the area always get a warm welcome from the guys on reception . In fact all the staff are great and very friendly
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the outside area with the lake very quiet and picturesque. Would make lovely wedding venue. Loved the ceiling and the lounge and breakfast was lovely.
Cons: Didnt like the fact that there was no chef on in the evening on a saturday night so no evening meal was available. Also the swimming pool closed at 4.0pm so wasnt able to swim. It was a bankholiday weekend and the hotel was empty...only 9 guests it felt a little strange and there being no food meant we had to go out looking for it.

Pros: Clean white towels
Cons: No tea service in room No tissue in room No slippers or dressing gown in room Place is worn out needs to be updated Carpet in hallway and stairs dirty and worn Continental breakfast was a nonstarter everything was brought in from Tesco shocking and very limited choice. No service at reception had to ring bell and wait for assistance no WiFi pass code given had to ask for it Telephone was not working I was informed on my arrival as I had been trying to contact hotel for 3 hrs couldn’t get through. Called from my room to reception no one answered Called many times
4,6 Okay
Pros: the hotel looked as though it COULD be really cool
Cons: biggest issue was that there was no one available to check me in or to check me out. General decoration of the hotel was tired
5,4 Okay
Pros: Bedroom very well decorated and well furnished. One member of staff around was helpful, but looked like he was overstretched.
Cons: Overall look was shabby and furniture in communal areas looked as if it needed some tlc. Breakfast offer was very limited, with no choice of jams etc. Very much help yourself to stuff still in packets from Sainsbury. No opportunity to warm croissant or like as only toaster available. Bathroom mirror light didn't work.
7,1 Good
Pros: Liked the room
Cons: Couldn’t find a member of staff Was like staying on the Marie celest
5,8 Okay
Pros: As I was leaving at 5am for a Running Race, some food was left for us on a table in the foyer but it was very basic. No cereal, just some cellophane wrapped Pain au chocolate and sliced white bread for toast. I think there were yogurts in the fridge. The hot water heater was left on so we could make tea or instant coffee. It was adequate. The room was clean and we had a WiFi code.
Cons: No tea and coffee facilites in room. I did get a bottle of water. I wanted a cup of tea and was allowed to use the breakfast facilites in the foyer, but there was only enough water for one cup. I did mention this but it wasn't filled immediately. I felt we were a bit "on rations" for tea and coffee. I would have brought my own tea bags if we had had a kettle in the room. I am used to taking my own breakfast with me if I am doing an event but I still had to go to the foyer at about 4 am to get hot water for a cup of tea. Considering the room was called Decadence it was not great value for money.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was tasty but not enough for someone with an appetite! Didn't see any preserves (jam, honey, marmalade etc.)! Bed was comfortable.
Cons: One person looking after reception, breakfast and housekeeping. Everytime something was needed you had to press a button for attention. Place felt like a ghost ship. Not welcoming! No tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I liked my room The quietness and privacy And the staff were friendly
Cons: I didn’t like my Room Key. It was old fashioned and I sometimes struggled with the door. Breakfast could have been a little better as I got burnt bacon. But everything else was nice and the room was beautiful.

Pros: Helpful staff, comfy bed, great breakfast.
