Cons: After 'briefing' on arrival there was no one obviously available for queries/ help e.g..Lack of water pressure for shower was ridiculous! ....breakfast - bacon hard as it had obviously been prepared earlier and kept warm. On departure you're expected to just leave keys in reception and leave - no goodbye so no personal touch. I feel that this indicates proprietors only interested in your money and not your experience or welfare...sorry but we won't be returning to this propertybas there are plenty of other B+Bs available in this price bracket

Cons: We had planned to have dinner in the hotel but discovered on arrival that there is a jacket and tie dress code for men. I had checked on the hotel web site before our trip and didn't see any mention of this. it would be useful to include in your information. also we had planned to use the pool on sunday morning but it was closed for maintenance. if we had known we would have swum the night before. a little disappointing.

The serving was sloppy and the food was staggeringly overpriced. I offered these comments to the hotel in private, but have yet to receive an acknowledgement.

Pros: The view from the room and the balcony were excellent. Loved the vibe and the staff, both in the hotel, health club and the spa. The hotel location and proximity to the sea yet still within easy reach to the town. Fluffy and thick towels and robes. Lovely bathroom. Gorgeous selection of Cornish Teas plus shortbreads supplied in the room. Kitchen Garden bar - again friendly, knowledgeable staff and amazing food. The Hydropool in the spa, steam rooms and treatments are worth every penny.

Pros: The view from the room and the balcony were excellent. Loved the vibe and the staff, both in the hotel, health club and the spa. The hotel location and proximity to the sea yet still within easy reach to the town. Fluffy and thick towels and robes. Lovely bathroom. Gorgeous selection of Cornish Teas plus shortbreads supplied in the room. Kitchen Garden bar - again friendly, knowledgeable staff and amazing food. The Hydropool in the spa, steam rooms and treatments are worth every penny.
Cons: Surprised at the mediocrity of the breakfast and evening food served in the main restaurant. No full length mirror in the room. Choice of pillows. Parking could be a issue if a special event is on. Shame about the apartment development - not the hotel fault but does impact the views and the overall ambience.

Pros: Beautiful location, very friendly staff, very close to the beach and about 10-minute walk to the town centre. Staff are the key advantage of this place.
Cons: The property did not meet our expectations at all. Restaurant: spent over 2 hours waiting for our food during dinner. Left without having deserts, even though we paid for a 3-course meal. Room: tiny, cluttered. Parking: free parking was advertised and we struggled to find a parking spot for hours. SPA: £40 per person. But free pool available on site too.

Cons: The room, flakey paint on the ceiling, water damage in the bathroom, cleanliness was not what I would expect and there was no tea in the room (this was rectified very quickly once we called reception) the room just felt very unloved.

Cons: We had a slightly disappointing dinner at the hotel. Portion size of my starter was miniscule and then there was a problem with the sauce on my wife's main course. This was put right by only charging us the starter price. However, we were left wondering how the kitchen could have had an issue with making a sauce.

Cons: Breakfast was a shambles, you know when people who arrived after you are getting served that you have been overlooked, I went at the earliest ‘quiet time’ I left without breakfast as I had to get to work. There was an evening meal charge on my room that was not mine, to be fair the charge was removed when I pointed it out at check out but it should not have been there.

Cons: The only thing we didn’t appreciate in our stay (meaning the overall experience was “good” and not “excellent”) was the room had two windows, in which was facing the harbour (fantastic view), however, the window was not sealed correctly. This meant the room was constantly cold, despite the radiator being on, and a constant whistling sound from the wind. This perhaps prevented a good nights sleep and the issue needs resolving quickly. (Room 418 for maintenance purposes)

Pros: hotel position very nice , directly opposite beach ,beautiful views and location to town ,perfect trip for time of year
Cons: due to wedding function at the time of our stay , staff were unable to look after residents to my satisfaction , waited one and half hours for evening meal , on arrival tea and coffe facilities had gone off milk which my looks had been there for quite a while , due to late meal evening spoilt and could not do what had planned
