Edmonton hotels near Art Gallery of Alberta

Cons: House keeping skipped my room for its cleaning. First told me there were too many check outs to get to my room. Manager told me in morning that I had the do not clean light on, so it was by past. This was a false statement because I confirmed the light was set to clean when I left and it was set to clean when I returned.

Cons: Bed was not that comfortable

Cons: Pool is s bit small

Cons: Location is somewhat awkward to get to. Debit machine was down during my stay

Cons: Got woken up at 3am to woman banging on a door three doors down yelling "is she in there?!?!" Commotion lasted 30 minutes

Cons: Nothing noted.

Cons: Dated lobbies/rooms seem slightly dingy This hotel wants to be a super nice but doesn't seem like they want to invest in the accommodations

Cons: Paying $15.95 for parking.

Cons: It's not the hotel's fault but I wish we had known that it was full of guests attending a giant Rave party down the street. The room was nice but the activity in the neighbourhood and in the halls all night was disturbing to say the least. It might be wise to check on events going on at the nearby Shaw convention center when booking -especially if they involve large crowds and open drug use.

Cons: The Breakfast area was small for the number of rooms available and the people staying.

Cons: Bit pricey for an Express hotel

Cons: the bathroom door was spring loaded. bath fan did not operate. room smelt musty

Cons: When we arrived we were sent away 3 times!! As they were not ready for check in. 4 hours later, we were admitted to our rooms. We were not the only ones; the lobby was packed with people trying to check in and being denied. Although problems like these occur, how one handles the problem makes a lasting impression. The manager David I believe was his name, was horrible. He was a condescending arrogant manager who did little to help anyone. The rest of the staff were considerate, and tried to do right by the guests. How he is the manager blows my mind. The only consolation was at check out when I asked if they could wave the parking for the previous issue of check in. Thank goodness David was nowhere around and we could at least have a break with parking fees. $22 is better than nothing I suppose. If these are the managers the hotel chooses to lead their teams I won't be back. I sincerely hope the rest of the staff continue their good work and do not pick up on these horrible manners.

Cons: There were a few negatives. When arriving and putting our things in the room there was a block of wood with a rusty nail protruding in which one of us stepped on. The temperature was hot all the time and at breakfast we gradded a bagel from the tray and there was mold on it. Lastly when getting my bill at checkout I was charged $12 a night for parking which I hadn't been informed of to begin with but when enquiring about the charge the woman was quick to remove the charges due to not being informed about the charges previously. I understand the hotel is downtown but at the rate charged in feel parking should be included. The last time we stayed here the bed sheets were dirty and when calling the front desk about it one of the hotel staff showed up with new sets of sheets but left them at the door for us to change.

Cons: The pictures online look nothing like the hotel. One of our key cards worked out of two, as soon as we walked into our room there was dirt on the carpet, I removed the blanket and on the sheets beneath were different hairs and blood stains. Our neighbours were loud two different nights, I asked the clerk at the front desk when quiet time was and she replied with 11. And it was already 12 15 before I went down and asked. The problem was resolved in about 15 minutes

Cons: This establishment is not 3 stars. The hotel has no elevator nor do they serve breakfast like most other comfort inns. The room wasn't up to par either with the sink broken, bathtub unclean and worst of all blood on the door! The entire place reminded us more of a motel than a 3 star hotel.

Cons: Rooms outdated.
