I stood in line for 1 1/2 hours to get the car. And when I got in the car, I found out they had rented the same car to someone else. They upgraded me but when I drove away I noticed the tank was only 3/4 full.Reviewed Sep 22 2023

The wait time to pick up a car we had reserved for 2pm was 3 hours and 15 minutes. What a way to spend your first day on vacation. Need proof??? I’ll send photos of What it was like. We couldn’t cancel because it was outside the cancellation window.Reviewed Jul 6 2023

I waited 2.5 hours to get a car. Then after driving a mile away, the car died. It took an additional 1.5 hours to get a new vehicle, because they assigned me one that was also assigned to another group. Ultimately, they tried to make it right, but they seem severely short staffed. And from speaking to other customers who had the same experience, it didn’t appear like my situation was unique.Reviewed Jun 11 2023

Kona airport suffers from too much sucess. Outgrown its infrastructure. Dollar shuttle bus overcrowded and infrequent. Line to get car was out the building. Staffing the counters not up to the number of renters. Once got the car everything was fine.
