Pros: Such a lovely home with great views from our room. The owners were wonderful, always ready with helpful information and recommendations, as well as checking to see if we were in need of anything. The night before one fills out a form indicating choices for the next morning’s freshly cooked breakfast...a great system! We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone!

So good in fact I booked a stay again for next year. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Excellent!

Pros: The hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast was the best full English breakfast we've had anywhere. Even the tomatoes are artistically presented. There are menu items also, and everything is cooked to order. The room we had was fantastic, and there was nothing we would have wanted that wasn't included. The price was quite reasonable, and the views from the property were second to none.
Cons: I have no suggestions for improvement. Everything was perfect.

Pros: Breakfast was good. The location is lovely and the building has character. Staff were friendly. Parking was easy.
Cons: The room didn't have room for comfortable chairs or table. The bed head made sitting in bed uncomfortable, thus it was fine for sleeping but not for relaxing. On entry we found a few spiders in the room which were easy to spot so should have been removed. A bit pricey.

Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in this hotel (Superior Family Suite) with my wife & two children (5 years and 2 years). I drove from Carlisle station, which took around 2.5hrs. The hotel is located on a magnificent hill (Hundith Hill) and that is the key attraction ! A great place to relax amidst beautiful nature. My kids were on top of the world when they saw freely roaming horses in the backyard of the hotel. We took many pictures with horses in the background. The breakfast was amazing... Up on request, the chef even prepared fresh pancakes for my children. The mushroom on toast was classy... the omelette was yummy ! We also had dinner on the first night and it was mind blowing... The rooms were super spacious... spotlessly clean, amazing toilet... a big balcony with a breath-taking view. The hotel provides free parking. The parking right in front of the reception is a bit tight but ok to manage. We were allowed to park next to the entrance of our suite and it was a blessing during rainy times. Overall the stay was super ! We will definitely stay in this hotel again.
Cons: I can't find anything negative about this hotel or its staff or its facilities. We made beautiful memories from our stay in the Hundith Hotel. The hotel is located 30-45 mins (by car) far from Keswick. So, if you are planning to visit the Lake District on a daily basis then be prepared to drive. We stayed two nights in Hundith and both the days we drove to different sites in the Lake District. We didn't find it difficult. We enjoyed the driving. The next two days we stayed in a hotel in Keswick, which was very close to the Lake District but the room was not very clean, small and the area was so congested.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and very relaxed atmosphere! We loved the animals surrounding the hotel. Weather was at its best
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location is good and places are easy to reach
Cons: The overall experience was not the best. The toilet leaked and therefore the room smelt of wee and damp. They also have it carpeted in the bathroom. I have also been bitten to shreds. I reported all issues and the lady at reception tried to state that I had been bitten as I was outside at night this was not the case. The room we were given was also not the room I booked so again that was disappointing as well as us n it being shown to our room but instead being directed outside to take ourselves in.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We had breakfast and it was lovely and on first night we ate in the dining room the 3 course meal was excellent the staff were really pleasant and nothing was too much bother. We stayed in one of the outside rooms with a balcony overlooking the field with sheep and horses, very peaceful, lovely decorated and very clean.
Cons: There were a few things i thought would have improved our stay. In the bathroom it would be a good idea to have a small mop to help keep the floor dry from the shower and a mat at the door from the balcony to wipe feet when coming back in when it had rained. The pillows were a bit light and had no support to them other than that maybe a fridge would be good in the rooms.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and attentive staff, especially the very hard working manageress whom seemed to be on her feet and busy during our entire stay. She is a credit to the business. The room was perfect, with spotlessly clean and very comfortable linens, a large flat screen television, extremely comfortable double bed, and excellent power shower, which I could have stayed in for hours! We selected a ground floor room with balcony which looked out onto breathtaking scenery of a beautiful field with grazing sheep and horses, rolling hills and a distant forest. The view complimented an already superior room.
Cons: We chose to eat in the on-site restaurant, both ordering fish and chips. One portion of fish was cooked to perfection, while the other was unfortunately burnt and very dry, making it almost inedible. Without hesitation we were offered a full refund on the meal, and a sincere apology from the manageress. In fairness the kitchen was incredibly busy, serving food for a near-full restaurant, and catering for a decent sized wedding, so it is understandable mistakes could be made. Because of the refund, attentive staff and apology it has not put me off from eating at the restaurant again in the future.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The scenery is absolutely fantastic especially as it was a hot bank holiday weekend
Cons: No late bar for residents which we found unusual and the rooms are very dated
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beauty of nature and hotel.
Cons: Very nice peaceful place

Cons: Breakfast times could be later
6,3 Good
Pros: Staff nice.Position excellent. Not a lot Bedroom up three storeys ,lots of steps. Room very small. Was not told it was small though bill described it as such. Very nosey. Cons: I found the mattress a little soft to my liking but everyone has different preferences.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Very low pressure on the shower
8,0 Excellent
Pros: This is my second stay at Allerdale Court, they now offer a free parking permit which was a massive boost for me. The hotel is just as good as I remember. It's an old creaky building, but that's part of its charm. The staff were excellent as ever. I went with 4 family memebers and we had 3 rooms. There were no complaints from anyone. The breakfast served was just as good as I remembered. I will definitely stay again.
Cons: The only downside for me, is that there's no comfortable - lounge style - seating area, just chairs and tables. It's not a deal breaker, but would be nice to have.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of egg dishes - often have to be paid for at other hotels.
Cons: Radiator did not work. Dealt with by supplying a stand alone heater. This did not work either. As it was only one night I coped.
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful
Cons: Had to wait to be seated for breakfast which was not good, then an even longer wait for the breakfast to arrive.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful but the whole place was very tired and dated. Our room smelled of damp. The bathroom was nice and clean and the towels were a good size.
Cons: The whole place could do with a revamp and it would be nice to have filter coffee instead of instant. The view over the lake was hindered by all the trees.

Pros: The bed was awesome
Cons: Everything was ok
5,0 Okay
Pros: Lovely breakfast, excellent view.
Cons: Room was cramped, very tired, with no en suite, bathroom across the hall was clean but very 1980s decor, all woodwork had massive layers of paint that needs attention, place needs a lot of money spending on it to bring it up to a good standard, shame because the staff were very helpful.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful and got me out of a bit of a spot. Great view of the lake from my room. Really nice breakfast.
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable, and the TV had no sound. (Not a big TV watcher, so that wasn't that much of a problem.)

9,6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is amazing value for money . Ok its in need of a bit of an update but its clean, warm and comfortable . The meals here are exceptionally good value and with huge portions and top quality . We were a group of 15 so had a good variety of what was on the menu and all of said how good it was . The breakfast is also brilliant with a huge choice. You will not go hungry here .We had room 11 that looks out onto the lawns with peacocks roaming the gardens and a wonderful view across to the hills beyond . Brilliant
Cons: It could do with a little refurbishment but not too much as it may spoil its homely feel .
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A very friendly house with staff that are welcoming and helpful. Feels like a cosy little step back in time. Gorgeous lounge areas with comfy leather couches, roaring fireplace and a great bar and menu.
Cons: Some decor needs updating but this didn’t affect our stay. If anything it just felt more authentic and welcoming.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Quiet at night. Staff and owners helpful and friendly. Breakfasts and evening meals plentiful, and wholesome. Excellent value for money. We will book again. The dog was made welcome and there was easy access to lane walking.

Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was incredibly cosy, and perfect for a nights getaway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and had a homely feel.
Cons: Hard to find something to mark the place down on, if I was to be really picky, I'd say £3.50 for a pint of Carling is a bit steep but that's about it.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The outside of the building looked beautiful and location was great
Cons: The rooms were dated and poorly maintained. There were dead flies dead spiders, heavy dust and cobwebs. The pillows smelled.
7,5 Good
Pros: The bedroom furniture was lovely , bed was a good size . Lovely setting , great old building. Breakfast was nice .
Cons: Didn't like there was no hair dryer. No glassware in the bathroom for rinsing your mouth after brushing your teeth. chair & carpet were grubby in places , cobwebs in a few places .
7,5 Good
Pros: gorgeous property and just what we needed at the time. thank you
Cons: the evening meal was a little disappointing despite the exceptional price.
6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful surroundings, Breakfast was really good.
Cons: The room looked clean when we first entered but once in there I saw lots of thick cobwebs. The skirting boards looked ok but behind the bed and bedside cabinet was dusty and cobwebs, also on the bedside lights. A deep clean every now and then would improve standards.
