Pros: Great location, good rooms with a view
Good6,0
Pros: The view
Cons: Had to pay for internet. No bottled water in room. Dangerously slippery shower. For $300+ per night these should not be issues.

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helped to make everything about my stay as convenient as possible. The interior, ambiance, decor and architecture were beautiful and opulent. The location to the harbor was awesome and just enough out of the way to not seem like I was on top of everything. I was not disturbed once by housekeeping when I was in my room. For the prices I paid it was definitely worth it. I didn't have a microwave or refrigerator inn my room which I think should be standard in all rooms. Out was hard for nude to keep drinks and left over food or snacks cold and I had to go downstairs to heat up my food. They accommodated more when and I asked for early check in because I arrived earlier then I planned. I also like that check out is at noon and not earlier and they didn't rush me to leave past noon. The bed was super comfortable, one of the best I've ever slept in. I liked that they had a little store also because my allergies were acting up and I was able to get meds. The free breakfast in the morning was very delicious. Also free coffee 24/7 was very nice. I would like them to provide free water bottles also. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were all name brand which I think is important and appreciated.the only real gripe I have is the elevator. There was only 1 for my side of the building. It took awhile sometimes but that's hardly a big deal. All in all I would stay there again. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. They also had a really beautiful outdoor patio with a fire pit but I did not partake. I also never knew if there was a pool and I would have used it I've I had a longer and not so busy stay. If they don't have one they should. I can't wait to stay there again.
Cons: Nothing except that elevator.

Pros: The hotel was wonderful I had a great experience it was clean his staff was courteous and I love the Environment it definitely will be a place that I come back to
Cons: The only thing that didn’t like about the hotel was they charge a $90 incidental fee to my credit card now I was staying when a free reward night so I will assume that I didn’t necessarily need any money most hotels that have stayed it have charge no more than $50 but I found it kind of funny that a hotel charge almost $100 for incidental when you have free breakfast and everything else with friends I would definitely say that incidental fees can determine a customers from went to stay at a hotel even if everything else was nice just because you have to spend a lot of money upfront put some type of hold her your credit card the text away for money spent for entertainment
Good6,8
Pros: the staff were great, the hotel lobby was nice, and the courtyard is beautiful. Location was perfect
Cons: TV remote didn't work, wall hanging was missing in the room above the desk, and it was obvious. Food for breakfast wasn't really that good.
Excellent8,0
Pros: Ease of check in, breakfast and location
Cons: Parking

Excellent10,0
Pros: Cute hotel Good price Good location Good price for parking
Excellent10,0
Pros: The Indigo is in a great location, not too close to the busy inner harbor, but walking distance to many things. Plenty of good food, drink and coffee nearby. Get a corner suite if you can!
Excellent8,6
Pros: The location was awesome and they have a great breakfast!
Cons: Facilities are just okay, but good for the price.
Excellent8,0
Pros: The Mount Vernon boasts a great location; clean, comfortable (but nothing too luxurious) rooms; a very helpful staff; and a free breakfast every morning-- all at a terrific value for how close it gets you to Inner Harbor and all that downtown Baltimore has to offer. This is not the perfect hotel, but it can't be beat for the value!
Cons: There are a number of problems to consider when booking at the Mount Vernon. Parking is difficult, especially if you arrive late (our drive to Baltimore got us in after 3); there is a parking garage across the street, but it is closed overnight; and there is an open-air parking lot two blocks away. Parking is fairly inexpensive in these lots, but some travelers may not be comfortable with these options. Accommodations are also sparse; the rooms are comfortable, but not big, and there were small problems for the staff to remedy. For example, the hair dryer in our room was broken and seemed unsafe for use. Lastly, the free breakfast that is offered is not that good. They provide coffee, tea, juices, cereal, yogurt, breakfast breads, and some hot options, like eggs, grits, and hash browns. The hot options were not always available on time, and were uniformly underwhelming. But, it is free, which makes it more difficult to complain.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Friendly service. Helpful staff terrific bar with great food. Convenient location. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Highly recommend
Good6,6
Pros: It was comfortable there--a large bed and a large desk which are what I needed the most there.
Cons: Both of the bedside lamps were not working, and the standing lamp was a little bit broken but still working. One of the two charging plugs was not working.
Good7,7
Pros: I really liked this hotel and want to visit again. The rooms were nice, decor was tasteful, and in room amenities quality. I booked the room last minute for a one night stay, but intend to return. Menu and cocktails at the hotel restaurant (Poets) were delightful. the front desk staff were friendly, attentive, and professional.
Cons: The service at Poets was very slow, it appeared there was only one server on that shift, and he was overwhelmed, but the delays were unacceptable. I was also surprised that the hotel does not appear to offer express check out through the TV. I haven't checked out in person from a hotel in years unless there was a problem. However, this was definitely mitigated by very attentive front desk staff -- checkout was a breeze.
Excellent8,8
Pros: A nice, comfortable room in a great part of the city. Friendly staff and trendy decor.
Cons: I'm not sure why anyone would put a sliding door on a bathroom.
Excellent9,4
Pros: In town for a single night, the staff were helpful and friendly. The accommodations met my expectations.
Cons: None.
Excellent8,8
Pros: cool place, good food. nice lobby. beds are very comfy, nice bathroom/shower.
Okay5,6
Pros: The location was excellent.
Cons: The room was poorly cooled, the television didn't work, the bathroom sink drain was broken, the television remote control didn't work when the television did, the breakfast was mostly very poor quality and the towels might as well have been paper.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Warm and friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms and quiet. We will definitely be returning. :)
Okay5,6
Pros: I liked the location and the service was excellent. The price was good and the breakfast was a nice buffet. The room was also very clean.
Cons: The "temperature controled" room is a FARCE! It is on a mass controlled system for the entire building which means the building is either set to a/c or to heat. It was over 80 degrees in our room each night NO MATTER how we set the tempterature because it only controls the blower (low, medium, high) but doesn't control the type of air that comes out. TERRIBLE in the Spring when temperatures fluctuate! Also, I completely believe that this hotel is used a back up for a shelter or for a some sort of government housing or possibly a place domestic abuse families. It was full of people who were obviously NOT tourists and in volitile relationships. The first night, it was almost empty on our floor, but then a flood of people came in the next day and that night, people were screaming at each other and a corner of rooms were obviously smoking weed. People were up until 3 am in the hallways carrying on conversations. Also, the Mount Vernon area is not the most ideal area -- I would suggest staying in Fells Point if you don't want to stay in the Inner Harbor or to stay IN the Inner Harbor instead of Mount Vernon.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Location. Nice rooms! The breakfast

Cons: Parking was expensive

Cons: After paying over 300 hundred a night, they ofer you a view upgrade for an extra 40 a night, which is fine is a beautiful view of the harbor, but you have to pay an extra 30 dollars a day to park your car. And when I ask the offer me the internet for free but since the person that checked me in was not there they tried to backed out of it saying that there was no way they could give it to me for free because it was 15 more a day. The people at front desk were very, very rude. Except when you are checking in and they are trying to sell you something.
Good7,7
Pros: The hotel was clean and relatively quiet. Most of the staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: We returned home from dinner one night to find a card that had been slipped under our door, soliciting clients for an escort service. I also selected online not to have room cleaning for the first day but house keeping still showed up and woke us up.
Good7,1
Pros: I travel to Baltimore on business several times each year. And this hotel has always been my favorite place to stay. Good location, very good food, and just a nice ambiance.
Cons: This time -- if seemed a little off. I got to my room and there was an overwhelming chemical smell. I didn't know if the room was just renovated (it was very nice, but it didn't seem that way) or they were trying to cover something up. Maybe I should have requested another room, but I was beat, so I did not. Secondly, in what must be an attempt to be "cutting edge", they give each bed three very small pillows. Really, they were the size of throw pillows that you put on your couch. I don't know if their research tells them that people's heads are getting smaller or something, but I just could not get comfortable. When I first saw the room, I thought they forgot sleeping pillows on both beds. Then I looked in the closet for the normal sized ones -- no luck. As sleeping is the #1 reason people stay in hotels, this is kind of a bummer. Very hard for me to get to sleep each night. Third, at breakfast in the morning they have a very nice buffet. it is expensive (about $22-23 + tip), but that is the going rate at nice hotels. But one of the mornings I stayed there, even though it wasn't terribly busy, they were very undermanned at the restaurant. I pretty much had to "steal" coffee and cream etc from other tables, as I could not get service (after waiting 15 minutes to be seated). I'm glad it was a buffet, or I'd still be waiting for that breakfast. I left a good tip of course, as that is a management problem and not the employees' fault. Maybe I'm being hard on the hotel, but it is expensive to stay there, and I know they can do much better, as they have done so many times in the past.

Pros: The staff had a wonderful attitude and were very attentive to customer needs. The fitness room was great; the buffet breakfast was a good value. The hotel is located in the inner harbor. The in room Keurig worked. This was a nice stay
Cons: Some of the furniture was pretty old but I really don't need anything fancy to put my clothes into.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Water front rooms are excellent, the view of the harbor was fantastic, especially at night. The location was also ideal, right there in the harbor close to everything I wanted to see and do.
Excellent8,0
Pros: nice bathroom Restaurant was good Great location
Cons: Room seemed dated
Excellent10,0
Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful views, great gym, affordable, clean, and cozy
Good7,4
Pros: The hotel was fantastic. The room was bright and airy, very clean, and we'll thought out. The staff was nice. There was one issue and unfortunately to me it ruined my trip, I realize to most it wouldn't be a big deal. Besides the issue below everything was great.
Cons: After I made the reservation, I was informed the pool and hot tub were closed for the week for repair. It was the main reason I chose this hotel. In fairness the hotel did take my 56 dollar parking fee off and the manager did email me offering to upgrade my room my next visit. Problem is, I'll never go to Baltimore again, city is run down and can't walk 10 feet without getting bombarded by a homeless person asking for money.
Excellent9,6
Pros: I loved the facilities. Bathrooms are upscale. Very nice shower. The facilities and decor is tasteful and classy very calming and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious
Cons: The carpet in the rooms need updating although there were 2 double beds there was plenty of room for Queen beds.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Everything was great! Best hotel I've ever stayed in for sure. Great Harbor view
Cons: The toilet was either running or not flushing for the entirety of our stay. Had maintenance come up 4 times within 2 days. Asked for a later checkout time for our troubles the 4th time I called. They gave us an extra hour. It was running again when we left.
Excellent9,6
Pros: Everyone was very courteous and they upgraded my room without my asking.
Cons: Parking a little pricey but that's the way it is anywhere downtown Baltimore. Valet feature is worth it.
Good6,5
Pros: Beds, pillows, access to pool.
Cons: Some repairs needed, esp. in bathrooms and pool area. Pool closed at 10 PM. A fridge was in the room but no minibar/snacks. The smoke alarm flashed all night (brightly).
Excellent9,1
Pros: Very friendly staff, Modern rooms, walkable to Camden yards and inner harbor, reasonable room rate for this upscale hotel
Cons: Our room backed up to elevator, could hear that all night.
Excellent8,8
Pros: The room was beautifully decorated and had spectacular view of the harbor. Location is in walking distance to many tourist attractions and restaurants. We did not need to move our car during our stay. A free bus service Charm City stops close to hotel and was easy to use. The staff was very friendly
Cons: When we arrived there was no valet parking available. The hotel parking lot said full but we pulled in anyway & found plenty of spots. ( we think they put full sign up to discourage people going to baseball game from parking in lot ) Parking too expensive : $30 per day
Excellent10,0
Pros: The Staff was most accommodating, they make you feel like family. they always greet you with a smile. Everyone was so helpful loved my stay there and will stay there again. It is close to a lot of places you can walk to, and walking distance to the stadiums. LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel... The view over the Harbor was Fabulous!!!
Cons: Not having a trash can by the little kitchen area, but I am a neat freak,

Pros: All employees were very helpful. They freely provided helpful information pertaining to how to get to places and great info as to where to dine within a short walk.
Cons: Unfortunately we had an issue with our room reservation and this did not sit well with us since we were traveling with our young son. We made a reservation that included a king bed. When we checked in they informed us that they "over-booked and did not have any rooms available with king beds. We informed them that we made the reservation that way because we needed the room for our son. Didn't matter. They did compensate us by giving us free/complementary breakfast and snacks but that didn't change our feelings or put us in a room with a king bed. We were given a room with two double beds and we made it work but it was not as convenient. We will seriously take this into consideration if and or when we use this site or make another reservation.

Pros: Great room and staff. Location is great
Cons: Maybe we were just there on a bad weekend, but there were a lot of rowdy kids at the hotel. Noise was a problem.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Location and hotel are great! Convenient to all Inner Harbor amenities.
Cons: Restaurant facility understandably operating under Covid restrictions. Almost 50 dollars for a sparse take out breakfast for two seems steep.

Cons: start at the start there no way from the parking to the hotel with out going outside this is wong and nothing tell you this?? it said bar in room wong.
Good6,0
Pros: The location was really great. The check-in and checkout out process was very smooth.
Cons: For the price the room was adequate. We asked to have the room made up when we were out and that never happened. There were issues with the elevators.

Cons: Since the hotel was so big it was very impersonal so I guess that is what you get for a large hotel. The service was Omni the certainly not incredible.
Good6,8
Pros: view of stadium from room
Cons: breakfast was across the street. parking a nightmare and quite pricey! smell of sewage permeates the area. coffee shop in lobby was dirty/not healthy and service was rude
Excellent8,0
Pros: Stayed there as we had come in town for an Orioles game. The hotel is across the street from Camden Yards and the gym has an awesome view of the park. Overall nice facilities and upscale feel. It's also a block from the Light Rail station so getting there from BWI is very inexpensive ($1.70) although parking was $35.00 a night of you drove.
Cons: Some normal amenities were missing, no breakfast although a Coffee Bean is in the lobby. Charged a fee to use things like the conference room and the business center has the computers set up so the sun is at your back and difficult to read the screen.
Excellent9,7
Pros: The staff was friendly, the food at the restaurant was excellent, the views are great and it's convenient to all the downtown attractions.
Cons: The bed was too soft for my taste and the restaurant was a bit pricey, as was the parking.
Excellent9,3
Pros: Hotel was very clean
Cons: Parking was expensive - self-park was $28 per day
Excellent10,0
Pros: View was great of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay and recommend to my friends and family.
Excellent9,6
Pros: Staff was excellent!!!!!!!
Cons: Price of parking. I thought there would be a discounted rate for guests.
Mediocre2,5
Pros: The location was convenient.
Cons: The staff was rude. It took 3 hours to "find" my reservation, it was dusty, dirty, hairy, ac unit wouldn't work and extremely overpriced. At 8 in the morning a woman who worked there put her ear to our door waking us all up tapping and when I opened the door she said she was just checking to see if we were all there. Checkout was at noon.
Excellent9,4
Pros: We traveled here for a one night trip to attend an Oriole's game. The ball park is immediately next to the ball park and you can actually see the park from most of the rooms. It's also abuts the convention center in addition to having its own meeting space. Would be an excellent place for a conference or to stay for an event at the convention center. The coffee bean and tea leaf was excellent and the room was clean enough and pretty comfortable.
Cons: Really wanted to use the pool with our baby but it was incredibly cold. That was a big bummer. Also didn't know it was pet friendly and we had a dog that was pretty unhappy near us.
Excellent9,4
Pros: Great location for the baseball game
Cons: Front desk left us on hold for more than 20 mins before we just hung up and went downstairs ourselves
Excellent10,0
Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: Elevator was broken going into the convention center for two days at the end of the overhead walkway. My husband could not use his scooter to get to the convention center. We were stuck.
Excellent8,0
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Restaurant was chronically understaffed. Groups left without receiving their food due to the long wait.
Excellent8,0
Pros: It was clean and had a great staff.
Cons: If there is a baseball game, you will have to park at another location and parking is not free. Parking attendant made it my problem and to see the front desk to deal with it.
Excellent8,2
Pros: My room over look at Camden yards as does the executive lounge
Cons: Mattress needed to be replaced, digital key did not consistently work, executive lounge food and beverage not as good as most
Excellent9,4
Pros: The location. Right next to Camden Yards and a short walk to the inner harbor.
Cons: The coffee maker did not work that well. No free wi-fi.
Excellent9,1
Pros: The hotel is adjacent to Camden Yards and a reasonable distance from shopping and restaurants. The room was comfortable with generally good amenities. The hotel connects to the convention center.
Cons: The area around the hotel in three directions is a little sketchy. The hotel has only one restaurant and it's nothing special and pricey for what's offered.
Excellent8,8
Pros: Staff and breakfast was amazing
Cons: Shower no microwave
Okay5,1
Pros: Loved the location
Cons: Besides from the hookers on our floor from room to room, the fighting in the hallway at 1am in the morning and the party going on down the hall with employees and guest with drugs being used
Excellent10,0
Pros: Overall, the best hotel experience. If all hotels were like the Baltimore Hilton we would travel more...
Excellent8,5
Pros: Pool and Camden Yards view are great. Shallow water good for toddlers. 18th floor lounge is useful to get work done.
Cons: 18th floor lounge needs more cooked food, especially breakfast, which is served for only 3 hours. Carpets in room ought to be steam cleaned. Inner Harbor is a 15-20 minute walk.
Good6,5
Pros: I liked the closeness to downtown activities and the view from our window was amazing. Beautiful baseball stadium was an awesome site while exercising.
Cons: We just got back from a long walk and sat down in the lobby and was confronted with a panhandler. I was having a hard time being confronted at every turn outside the hotel but to have someone begging for money inside the hotel was a bit unnerving also the parking is an extra $30 a night. It was very noisy both nights and no towels in the pool area Be sure you don't want to cancel because it is not refundable. We tried cancelling the second night but would have been charged anyway so we stayed.
Excellent8,0
Pros: The hotel and room themselves were very clean and comfortable. The pool, whirlpool, and sauna would wonderful. Those definitely helped make up for the shortcomings of the rest of the facilities, namely parking and food. Also, we had a great view of the city.
Cons: Parking was a nightmare. After a 3 hour drive, I did not appreciate having to spend 40 minutes trying to park. The Hilton garage was full. They did not offer valet service to park my car elsewhere. Instead, they advised me to "follow the car in front of you to the Holiday Inn", but they clearly didn't give the car in front of my directions. When we finally got to the Holiday Inn, they didn't have any parking. I finally ended up at a private parking garage and paid double what I would have paid at the Hilton. Immediately after check-in, we went to the Diamond Tavern, the Hilton's in-house restaurant. Except it wasn't really in-house. There was very poor signage directing people to the restaurant. It turns out you had to go up to floor 2, then through a skywalk, then down to floor 1 again. The restaurant was not crowded, and we had reservations, but it took 45 minutes for them to bring us our food. It was absolutely ridiculous. Speaking of poor signage, if you're looking for the fitness center, it's on the fourth floor. We only found that by reading those "about your stay" binders in our room. No signs until you're already there.
Mediocre2,8
Pros: On a business trip - checked in at 2pm and because check-in wasn't for a bit, front desk helped me out. "Upgraded" me to an amazing suitt overlooking Camden yards. It was a rainy cold night, and the orioles were not in town. I can appreciate upgrading someone when neither of the above were factors. The room (667) had great views and hangout areas, BUT NO BED!!! WAS RELEGATED TO A PULL OUT COUCH DESPITE PAYING TOP DOLLAR!!
Excellent9,4
Good6,5
Pros: The rooms where pretty modern. The lobby is clean.
Cons: I didn't enjoy sweating most of the night away. I booked to rooms and put the air on high (3) speed and at 50 degrees, everyone tossed and turned without blankets till about 5am when the room finally got cool enough. We keep the room windows closed during the day to cool the room but it didnt help.
Okay4,0
Pros: The location was great, right next to Camden Yards to see the Orioles baseball game.
Cons: Hotel reservation could not be found and they were not helpful. Our room was not cleaned until 3 pm and we needed towels. The indoor pool was cold, not heated and was so cloudy and dirty you could not see in it!!! Coffee shop/restaurant had long lines.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Beautiful accommodations, great view of Camden fields, well priced, pool was nice, coffee bean in lobby, a great place to stay whether it's for business or pleasure! - staff was extra accommodating
Located in Downtown Baltimore, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Charm'tastic Mile and Baltimore Inner Harbor Marina. Baltimore Convention Center and National Aquarium in Baltimore are also within 10 minutes. Charles Center Station is only a 5-minute walk and University Center-Baltimore Street Station is 8 minutes.

Pros: We loved how close it was in walking distance to the inner harbor. The breakfast was fantastic! We loved our stay. The staff was so nice, and the hotel was beautiful.
Cons: Just that we were in a room near the elevator which isn't ideal when you are trying to put little ones to bed early, but that is an easy fix of just requesting a room away from there.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and the location was fantastic.
Cons: Not really the hotels fault, but we smelled marijuana every time we got off of the elevator to get to our room. It was very strong and we were supposed to be on a 100% non smoking floor.
Excellent9,7
Pros: The breakfast buffet was large and clean. Fresh options and heavier breakfast items both offered. The oatmeal and juice bar were a nice surprise. All the employees were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately there was road construction outside the hotel and only being on the fifth floor, it was easy to hear.
Excellent8,0
Pros: Room was a suite so it was large and comfortable, Windows on two sides of the room. Bed was comfortable. Two types of pillows to choose from. Hotel breakfast was hot, pre-prepared food; pretty good selection. TV rotated to face bed or couch. Good sized closet with ample hangers. Safety bars in two locations on the tub. Sink with large mirror in the suite (wet bar) which gave another place to put on make-up or place personal items other than the bathroom. Elevators responded quickly. Easy walk to several restaurants.
Cons: I called the hotel to make the reservation because we needed a walk-in shower. My husband had knee surgery and would have difficulty stepping over the edge of a tub. We were told this room would have a walk-in tub. It did not. We managed but I was disappointed because we paid more for this room to get that feature. Water in the tub was very hard to regulate...either blistering hot or ice cold. It was very hard to find the spot that made the water "warm". No safe for valuables.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Very close to all attractions breakfast was awesome
Located in Inner Harbor, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, USS Constellation and National Aquarium in Baltimore. Walters Art Museum and M&T Bank Stadium are also within 15 minutes. Convention Center Station and University Center-Baltimore Street Station are within a 5-minute walk.

Pros: From the door Gerald was on the job... personable, helpful, & thorough. The rest of the staff was also friendly & engaging. Rooms were comfortable & clean. Secure parking was key. A very positive experience all around!
Excellent8,5
Pros: We appreciated the fact that we did not have to leave the inner harbor locale to find a nice affordable hotel for the night. You can leave your car in the garage once you check out to continue to explore the area as well.
Cons: Could have a litle cleaner but it was fine overall.
Good7,1
Pros: Liked the location and the price
Cons: The pricewas not the bottom line, does not include breakfast $13 buffet or Parking $23 day. Our particular room 522 was serenaded by the bells from the elevator all night long. Would not stay here again.
Good6,0
Pros: Convenience to convention center
Cons: No continental breakfast
Excellent9,7
Pros: Staff was outstanding, friendly and capable. Room was clean and very comfortable. Not a fancy spot, but perfect for downtown convenience.
Cons: Some traffic noise even with a room on upper floor. Costly garage fees.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Gerald was working the front desk and was so helpful with our room situation since the hotel overbooked and we were not able to get into the room we paid for. He was so kind and generous and one of the nicest people we had met there.
Cons: Our hotel overbooked and we were forced to stay in a room with two beds and the most cramped bathroom we had ever seen.
Excellent8,0
Pros: I liked how convenient it was to the Baltimore M&T Bank football stadium and was in walking distance, making it easier for me to save money.
Cons: I did not like that the parking was $28.
Excellent8,2
Pros: Days Inn is crossing the street from the Convention Center. It has lots of food places nearby. Also, Cardem Yards is 3-5 minutes away (walking distance). Location is perfect for a walk. Furthermore, Light trail from the Airport to Cardem Yards is just $1.70 per person, or so.
Cons: The tub didn't drain. However, staff were addressing the issue the day we left. Apparently the situation was happening in the whole floor. Dispite that, the place is great value for the money.
Excellent10,0
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and caring. I would choose to stay in this hotel before any other. They made you feel right at home and made sure you were accommodated in any way that they could. Amazing hotel!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent9,7
Pros: Location was walking distance to the harbor
Excellent8,0
Pros: very friendly staff, clean room, comfortable
Cons: very crowded, hard to get an elevator at certain times due to large crowd
Excellent9,7
Pros: The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, less than 100 yards away from the front entrance to the Convention Center.
Cons: Parking garage cost next door was extremely high at $28.00 a day. I would have expected a discounted rate for hotel patrons.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Staff was great
Good6,3
Pros: Location, this place is about as close to the convention center as you can get. Ample parking.
Cons: The room smelled like urine. You would be amazed at the smells your body can adapt to when you are very tired and low on options. However, every time I entered the room the smell of urine was overpowering. I ran the tap and the shower just to make sure the water in the trap had not evaporated and I was not inhaling sewer fumes. No luck.
Excellent10,0
Pros: The front desk staff was wonderful, especially Gerard. The room was clean and updated and we had a wonderful experience.
Cons: We were not used to the street noise as we live in the country...but that has nothing to do with the hotel.
Excellent8,6
Pros: All of the front desk and security staff were extremely helpful and hospitable.
Cons: Restaurant service was lackluster at best- food was terrible and drinks WAY overpriced.
Excellent8,2
Pros: Great location for Orioles and Ravens games. Friendly security in the lobby.
Cons: Sirens and street noise, but that's to be expected given the location on a major thoroughfare.
Excellent8,2
Pros: Good value for money. Good location.
Cons: The cab to the airport they got us as we left was a rip off. It was $50 flat rate while on the was in we only paid $33!
Excellent9,1
Pros: Convenience was the main thing. The restaurant had an adequate buffet. Much cheaper than most buffets in the Inner Harbor. The staff was friendly, helpful and engaging. The rooms were clean and roomy. The cost was very good. I booked these rooms on Booking.com and they cost me $112.00 per night per room. There was nothing else comparable in the Inner Harbor close to that price.
Cons: I stayed three night and the parking cost me $84.00 for that time period. I thought that was exorbitant. Everything was fine.
Good7,4
Pros: The location was walking distance to Camden Yards as well as many local eateries and bars. It also had a parking garage attached for easy access to the building. The room was standard and had everything we needed with enough room for 4 comfortably.
Cons: The price overall. We were there for a Red Sox game day and the prices were clearly hiked up. For what it was I would say it was better than other options but a little pricey. The real kicker was the $28 parking and $13 breakfast. We were all a little surprised by the breakfast, which was poor at best.
Excellent8,8
Pros: Friendly, and helpful staff. Loved the attached grille.
Cons: Small bathrooms.
Good7,1
Pros: Person that checked us in was the best . Location and price was very good . Also food and bar were tops.
Cons: Room was so hot , turned the Ac on and would only run for about 3 mins every 30 mins . Also fool by unit was wet and bathroom floor had water all over it had to put towels down . Room number 230 . Next morning coffee bar, lady working was sick coughing and not washing hands manager toll her to close after my order. Small things make big deals .
Located in Downtown Baltimore, this luxury hotel is within a 5-minute walk of 1st Mariner Arena and Baltimore Convention Center. Baltimore Inner Harbor Marina and Hippodrome Theatre are also within 10 minutes. Charles Center Station is only a 2-minute walk and University Center-Baltimore Street Station is 5 minutes.

Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: I had booked a deluxe king room and prepaid. When I arrived I was told that there were no more deluxe king rooms available and the only room available had two beds and bunk beds. Confused I showed the gentleman behind the desk my conformation with room type and he told me that there was no guarantee on room type. He was rude and said thats all they had and if I didn't want it I could stay somewhere else. When I got into the room, there was an entire wall with a dog mural staring at me. The room wasn't clean, carpet dirty, hair in sink, then I walked into the bedroom and it is the strangest decor I have ever seen. Hip doesn't mean nothing matches and the most unattractive color palate ever! The furniture was visibly beat up, scratched and marks all over. The wall had multiple black marks all over and the toilet was running. I put my things down and headed to the front desk before leaving for dinner to advise them of the running toilet. Upon my return 2 hours later, as I opened the door to my room and the toilet was still running and I went to call the desk. My room was facing the the windows of other hotel rooms and I found myself rushing to close the curtains because a man across the way was watching me and being "self serving" - not the hotels fault, I know, but very creepy none the less. I wet down to the desk to ask about my toilet and the new gentleman at the desk said he had no record of my earlier complaint and there was no one from engineering to be able to fix it. I asked for another room and he said there weren't any, so I went upstairs and promptly checked out at 12:30 am, off to find another hotel. I asked not to be charged, but since I had prepaid, he said there was nothing he could do.
Excellent10,0
Pros: service, excellent room, comfortable bed, great bath, convenient location
Good7,6
Pros: The staff was really nice.
Cons: Not a big deal but there wasn't a remote control in the room. We had to call for one which was brought up fairly quickly.
Excellent8,0
Pros: Large refillable shower supplies; better for environment than lots of little bottles. Beautiful room. Tea/coffee/drinks for guests. Convenient for public transportation.
Cons: Shower made awful high-pitched squealing sound. Room card became deactivated for no reason.
Excellent9,3
Pros: The service was great. They were very helpful and kind at the front desk. They helped with anything we needed and they made us feel welcomed. We forgot something in our room after check out and try had it shipped to us. This place was great.
Cons: There's Nothing really to not like. I guess if I had to pick it'll be no pool.
Excellent9,4
Pros: Very helpful staff, great, clean and cozy room. We appreciated the rollaway, which was really far beyond the cot-like thing we had sort of expected (we added another person to the room after making the reservation, so knew it would be tight). We really appreciated the help with that and with extra toothpaste/brush. Thankful that quality is always high across any Kimpton hotels I've stayed at.
Cons: It seemed like it would have been helpful if there were more staff on-hand at peak times for check-in, etc. Staff was great and helpful, but having worked at a front desk, this one seemed like it could have benefited from a few more people.
Excellent10,0
Pros: The staff were great - so friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and beautiful, and very unique. Awesome shower, and overall we loved it.
Excellent10,0
Pros: The free coffee in the morning and yoga mat in the room.
Cons: Had to request coffee in the room. I wish you could do that when you book the place so it's there when you check in.
Excellent9,7
Pros: the staff was fabulous!!!he room was great exceptfor the lighting. There was a great chair to read in but no lamp there.Te room was too dark.Other than that, it was great.
Excellent9,7
Pros: It was a great hotel with an interesting history. It was in a good location within easy walking distance to waterfront destinations, the convention center and the subway is across/down the street too. The bathroom and hotel room was really spacious. We would stay there again.
Cons: Really the only thing my husband and I didn't like was that the shower doesn't have a door only a partial glass wall, but it was no big deal.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Large comfortable room. Would love to know where you got that bed - my husband is 6'4" and it's the first bed his feet aren't hanging over. Shower was wonderful. Loved the Bigelow products. Staff was absolutely wonderful.
Cons: No coffee in the lobby until 7 am for this early riser.
Mediocre2,8
Pros: Not much to like.
Cons: Not a great experience. Employees was not very welcoming. Checking in the first thing the young man said I don’t see your reservation. I had to pull up my confirmation number. Thank God I had available. Rooms was ok with a low quality thin comforter. There was no extra blanket. All hotels I stayed always had extra blanket in pillow. Lastly parked my car with valet parking for 40 bucks a night. when it was time to retrieve it took over 40 minutes to come. They could not find my car keys. I would not recommend this location or stay here again.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Location and staff were very friendly and gave recommendations for local restaurants.
Cons: Our room keys for some reason kept giving errors, they would alternate so we would have at least one working key at any given time. So the staff was very used to seeing us.
Good6,5
Pros: I was attending a conference for most of the trip, and my partner also joined to check out local sites. It was a decent location within walking distance to a number of good restaurants and museums.
Cons: The room was somewhat small and the floor appeared to not have been vacuumed in a while (as noted by the dozens of small beads that were from a bracelet of a former inhabitant). I find the sliding bathroom door to be somewhat unusual since it didn't allow for privacy in the slightest. Lastly, we had to go to the front desk once a day to get the room key cards re-magnetized, so that we could enter the elevator to the room and our room.
Excellent8,8
Pros: Classy building built in 1906. Rooms nicely appointed. Top notch service and friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Closet doors stuck. In-room safe didn't work. DIYers would not feel too comfortable here.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Clean room, high ceilings, comfortable bed. Classic style. Service where it counted: capable and speedy valet guys, helpful front desk, and no-fuss baggage storage. Great hotel restaurant with fast servers and good food, where I powered up for taking two days of the Maryland bar exam.
Excellent9,4
Pros: The Monaco was located in walking distance to the inner harbor and the subway line was across the street.
Cons: The business center was on the pricey side.
Excellent10,0
Pros: Clean, rooms are huge, bathroom was great, so many both towels!
Cons: It's still Baltimore... You can walk to 7/11 but still be mindful of where you are at.
Mediocre2,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hotel had cancelled my reservation the night without contacting me after pre paying for it. I can to the hotel and couldn't check in, had to move to a different hotel- huge pain.
Good7,9
Price gouging on wifi ruins the fun at an otherwise great hotel.
Mediocre3,1
Cons: Walked due to overbooking. Never contacted by hotel. Very poor service, the experience definitely turned me off to this chain.

Pros: As others have described, surrounding neighborhood not the best. But very clean, comfortable room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Shuttle service was a nice feature, as well as complimentary breakfast in the morning. Overall, good value for the price point.
Excellent8,8
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Free shuttle was perfect!
Cons: Bar / restaurant in hotel would have made this a 5-star rating
Good7,7
Pros: Clean, great staff, free breakfast, comfortable bed
Cons: Location is a bit sketchy, lots of homeless people around the hotel, but they never cause any problem during our stay

Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: No soap no shampoo broken clock torn curtains busted shower head and handicapped room wasn't handicapped and that's illegal. Surprised me with a twenty dollar charge for parking that had not been mentioned online. Go there only if necessary.
Okay5,4
Cons: The pillows were absolutely horrible, the were clean, but just entirely too soft. I'm not one to complain, but I've stayed in many different hotels and never had such a restless night because the pillow would wrap clean around your head, all four of them. Also the hint of cigarette smoke lingered in the hallway.
Excellent9,0
Pros: Staff was friendly, shuttle service was extremely convenient, room was spacious, noise level wasn't bad at all, breakfast was plentiful and filling, check-in/out was quick and easy.
Cons: The construction next door did block off certain sidewalks.

Pros: It was a awesome experience
Excellent9,4
Pros: All staff were extremely friendly. Valet (Jody) went above and beyond to assist and always had a smile on his face. Decor is appealing and modern, the rooms were spacious and nicely done. Pets are allowed however if you are traveling without a pet you would never know dogs are in the building in regards to cleanliness and the occasional bark. Close proximity to all attractions. Elevator security features were a plus. Would definitely stay again
Cons: Bedding had stains, no mini fridge or microwave in the room, check-in a little awkward
Excellent9,7
Pros: - location and fun atmosphere - nice tv - great amenities like bikes to rent and live music - easy to book - awesome soap in a very large bathroom - tile floor in bathroom with no door to bathroom and hardwood in entrance and around the bed. easy to clean. - made to look modern and minimal
Cons: - GF claimed to be bitten by bed bugs. - The potatoes with the RL breakfast were soggy and the egg whites in the skinny scramble were under cooked. - closet was odd with downward sloping hangers too small for business jackets, no dressers. - too few electrical outlets. in order to charge your phone you had to place it under the tv all outlets next bed were overloaded with phone lamp and alarm clock.
Excellent10,0
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The layout and design of their "lobby" was very modern with an industrial twist to the decor. They don't have the typical imposing front desk. Instead staff meets you at the door with a tablet and checks you in. The elevators are extra secure with room key only access. There is valet parking which is extra, but well worth it as we would have spent the same or thereabouts at a parking garage. Our room was amazing and nicely decorated. Excellent bed, excellent shower, but next time we will bring a cooler. Our room had a great view and was very close to the venue at Rams Head Live where we were headed. The next day there was a great band playing in the lobby so we stayed longer for that too. Most of all their staff was incredible!!! They were always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to do anything for you. That includes the maid in the elevator who gave us the history of the building and the head engineer who was helping out in their great bar/restaurant when they were way overloaded with people. Great experience from beginning to end. We can't wait to come back.
Excellent10,0
Pros: good location, only a couple blocks from the inner harbor and the power plant live, room was comfortable, lobby was quaint, staff helpful
Cons: could have used a bell hop service. if they had one, must have been busy. only saw one cart for luggage. lucky it was only me and my adult son, light on bags. :)
Okay4,0
Pros: Proximity to restaurants was decent and valet service was good. $29 for in and out parking privileges in their garage was a great deal compared to others.
Cons: Overall, it was disappointing to stay at this hotel. When showering, you would have to run the water for at least 10-15 minutes in order for it to become warm, otherwise you'd be stuck with cold water. While we stayed for 4 nights, we were given only 2 towels and had to request more via room service, but housekeeping never showed up. Due to COVID-19 protocols, they stated that rooms would not be cleaned unless you were staying 4+ nights. Bedsheets were stained and the hallway to our room strongly reeked of marijuana. During our stay, water service was interrupted due to city scheduled maintenance and that was a pain, notices were only posted on the first floor to elevators - wish it would have been posted on every floor or announced.
Excellent10,0
Pros: I liked the bikes for use, the game room, the lounge/cafe/restaurant. I also appreciate the stage for community engagement and fitness room. The room itself was small but had a large, luxurious bathroom.
Cons: It didn't have a business center. I had to ask the front desk attendant to print items for me. Parking was additional and somewhat expensive.
Excellent8,0
Pros: The urban element
Cons: There was limited hot water in the shower at times. Having some sort of room service would be nice.
Excellent10,0
Pros: I couldn't have asked for more from the Red Lion. Gorgeous rooms, wood floors (a HUGE plus for me because of my allergies), a shockingly short walk to the Charm City Circulator's Purple line, wonderful and warm staff who go beyond the call of duty, and all for a very low last minute price!! I am also very picky about hotel beds as I have a bad back but this bed was everything I wanted. Not to mention all of the communal amenities I simply did not have a chance to check out because my trip was short! There is, apparently, a 24 hour gym and the lobby seems to be a wonderful place to relax, socialize, and create a sense of a hotel community. The Red Lion seems equiped to foster vacation friendships one would expect of an extended resort stay on an island somewhere, despite the fact that it is located in the heart of Baltimore. If anyone I know ever needs a hotel in Baltimore, I will insist they stay at the Red Lion.
Cons: Honestly, my only qualm was that I only booked a room for one night. Had I known how wonderful my accommodations would be, I may have extended my trip! Oh, and a full body mirror would be nice, but its absence was in no way a deal breaker.
Good6,8
Pros: Stayed in a huge king bed room. Lots of empty space that could have been filled with a couch and coffee table with the TV in front of it. But they chose to place the TV to the right side of the bed making it awkward to watch. With this tiny one person mini couch directly under the TV. ..What the point of that? The front desk staff need a little more training. And a button or something indicating that they work there. They're all in regards clothes. A guy looking to check in thought I worked there when I went down to see what was the hold up on the extra towels I called down for 2 hours prior.
Mediocre2,0
Pros: The bathroom was modern and beautiful
Cons: The overall management of the hotel could be way better. First, The hotel didn’t receive our initial reservation through booking.com. Next, the room we were taken to was the wrong room and The entire floor smells like marijuana. When we were finally assigned a room, the sheets were dirty, the remote was broken, and the room was missing furniture. We were finally put into a decent room. What a terrible experience
Excellent9,1
Pros: Great price for the location and on a weekend too!!
Cons: Room was facing street which was very noisy for 6am- 9am on a Saturday, trash pickup, street cleaning and another loud construction truck nearby but otherwise no complaints on behalf of the hotel staff or facilities!
Excellent8,8
Pros: Large comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: No closet, shelves or drawers, so no place to put things like laundry out of sight! No desk (although when I inquired they brought up a small table and chair that worked OK). Instead of the Murphy bed (which I had no use for) I would prefer a desk and dresser or cupboard.

Cons: Seemed a bit dingy, the rooms were not super clean, there seemed to be minor damages in the room

Pros: Cozy and convenient to all of downtown Baltimore
Excellent10,0
Pros: Loved the room-extremely comfortable bed, smart design, bright and fresh. Loved the staff-no nonsense, friendly, helpful, wonderful smiles.
Cons: The ice machine directly outside the room-very minor irritant from the noise when ice was dispensed. $32 Valet parking per day through the hotel when one can park in the St. Paul St. garage only two blocks away for a fraction of the cost. This was disappointing because the third party through which the room was booked indicated the hotel provided parking but did not explain it was Valet for $32/day. The hotel does not validate parking in the garage.

Pros: Location for us was perfect
Excellent9,7
Pros: The room felt new and clean. The staff made us feel at home.
Cons: The quality of the included breakfast food could have been better.
Good7,9
The valet parking could use some work or better time frame of how long we should call ahead of time.
Excellent9,6
Pros: I liked the look and feel of the property and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The $25/night parking was steep compared to other properties.
Okay4,2
Pros: The ONLY bright spot was the fact that a lady named Sharonda actually made us want to stay there, suggested and AND DID something to make us stay. Otherwise, EVERYTHING was bad. We would have left if it wasn't for Sharonda.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't ready on time, Linda was completely unaccomodating, linens were never changed in 8 nights, cleaning was minimal, the water pressure was low, they gave a key to our room to someone else, there was MOLD on the breakfast sandwiches for breakfast, the toilet seat was broken and the laundry area beside the gym had people's old clothes that were NEVER removed and were out in view, thrown EVERYWHERE.
Good7,7
Pros: Full kitchen. Good breakfast
Cons: Housekeeping service. Carpets were dirty.
Excellent8,8
Pros: The room was big and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, utensils, cleaning supplies, and paper towels. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also were given snacks and bottled water when arriving and in our room!

Pros: Beds were comfortable. Views from rooms was great. Facilities were beautiful. Room was clean.
Cons: Staff was not really helpful or welcoming. Check in was chaotic. Check in was also late, 3pm, which is very inconvenient.
Excellent9,4
Pros: After reading some of the reviews about the AC and readiness of the rooms, I called ahead and made sure everything was working because this was my 1 year anniversary. When we arrived, everything was in place, they gave us a high corner bedroom, and Matt gifted us a complimentary bottle of Champagne! It was a very pleasant surprise for us and really helped make a great evening.
Cons: The pool was closed and it was a great day for it. They night staff wasn't really prepared for addressing common needs such as getting amenities.
Mediocre3,4
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff was rude. To expensive for what we got. I asked for a view and we got a side of a building. No harbor view at all. I tire floor smelt like pot. Room was very tiny.
Excellent8,2
Pros: The location was great and it was nice to walk to Orioles game. The kids enjoyed the pool. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The valet was expensive and self park option was confusing. We were told that we couldn’t leave car out front to check in first and would have to carry our bags from the lot. Not the best first impression when checking into a hotel for the first time.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Water pressure in shower terrible; originally wanted to give me a Queen but I wanted a king and had to push for the front desk to grand the request

Pros: The beds are great! I could have stayed in bed the whole time.
Cons: The bathroom needs a fan.

Pros: The hotel itself and our room was clean and nicely decorated. Our room smelled clean and inviting and it was also quite spacious with a great view even though we paid for one of the more inexpensive rooms.
Cons: The only negative part of our experience with this hotel was that the air conditioner in our room wasn't working properly. It got really hot over night during our stay and we couldn't get the a/c to turn on, not even the simple fan would work. We paid about 150.00 for this nice room and would have expected something as simple and necessary as the air cooling system to be functioning. We slept through the night with no covers and feeling uncomfortably hot.

Pros: Very pleasant staff, very spacious room, the room was extraordinarily clean. I'm glad I stayed there I'm told the facility will be upgraded which will be nice. Still, it is very nice for the money I paid to stay there. It was nice having a continental breakfast. The lady coordinating the continental breakfast is very cheerful and pleasant. Good value. I hope to stay there again.
