Pros: The property is elite, the staff treat the guests like royalty. We rented a room with a view fir my wife’s 50th Birthday. On check in, the upgraded us to the Presidential Suite! I was blown away, my wife was flabbergasted. There were rooms on top of rooms with a view of the harbor. It was epic. Shortly after we settled into our room, there was a knock at the door, it was for turndown service, which we didn’t need. Ten minutes later, another knock. This time we were delivered a personal birthday cake!! Stunning!!! That wasn’t all!! The experience was one of the best ever! We will be going back knowing that experience was once in a lifetime but due to their overall pampering!

Pros: I Loved the ambiance of the hotel...very sophisticated and modern looking from the lobby to my fountain view suite! The suite was very spacious and beautiful inside like a small apartment...very comfortable also. I was very impressed! Also the customer service of everyone from the bell hop, to the front desk, room service and in room dining were impeccable.:) I will definitely stay there again!:)

Cons: There were a few things that I was disappointed about given the reputation of the establishment along with the price...I paid roughly 1,300 for a room with a king sized bed and balcony with city view for 2 nights...the staff was great and the spa was relaxing but there were a few things that I felt were not acceptable from a Four Seasons...before walking into the room I noticed the wall paper was coming off the wall....after entering the room I noticed some of the furniture was chipped and in the bathroom some of the light fixtures were coming out of the wall...i also hard a difficult time accessing my ironing board because the closet would not open...in an attempt to open the closet I nearly cut my hand on an exposed nail that was sticking out of the broken mirror on the inside of the closet

Cons: Overall I Absolutely loved this hotel!:) but if I had one complaint it would be the location...it is downtown Baltimore in a very congested area, and a 10 minute trip to a convenience store took 45 minutes to get there! :)...Also the hotel food (while delicious) was very expensive( $60 for burger, fries and coke) but I chalked that up to it being a 5 star hotel and it comes with the territory..lol...other than those issues, it is a fabulous hotel and I would totally stay there again!;)❤

My only concern is the many spider webs that were above the elevator in the parking deck on the third floor. It’s not very inviting for guests who self park or who are using the walk way to the Harbor. Thank you for your immediate attention to that matter. Oh, we also liked the fact that The Market stayed open 24 hours. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Pros: This was the first time my wife and I visited Baltimore for an overnight stay, even though we’ve visited numerous times when we were younger. And our stay didn’t disappoint at the Hyatt Regency. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, nicely oversized television (roughly 60”-70” if I were to guess.) staff was exceptional from the valets and baggage staff outside the front door, to the front desk staff, and everyone in between. The elevators with the glass exterior and an awesome view on the ascent and descent of the Inner Harbor was awesome as well!! I can say with the utmost confidence that we will likely call Hyatt Regency “home” again the next time while in Baltimore.

Cons: We were there for my step daughters birthday. The pool was closed which made her very upset. The bistro was closed for a private event and the bar upstairs, while it was available, was cluttered with all wedding guests making it feel very awkward.

Cons: We asked the hotel staff (valet) for directions to an event. He answered with it was too far to walk. We insisted we'd be ok. He then added the cab driver to the conversation both repeating it's a far walk, let the cab take you. We finally just walked away. They never did give us directions as we had asked. We asked for early check in and although I know it's not guaranteed, it wasn't ready. However, they were quick to extend an offer of other room for more $$$. It would have gone a long way to honor our request without additional cost. In both cases..... looking for more $$$$. A shame.

Cons: Some small, minor things that didn’t hinder our stay: TV remote batteries were going dead, at the base of the bed is an accent light that comes on (to help with seeing in a dark room) when motion activated... only one side worked, the in-room dining service foods were good but is quite costly (breakfast for my wife and I ran us about $78, not including tip), room we stayed in was a connecting room although much Credit is given to the hotel for acknowledging the request of an upper floor and away from ice machines and elevator, the connecting room was the last of our worries. Overall, none of these would hinder us from booking with Hyatt Regency again!

Cons: - Valet price - too expensive. - Valet employee on duty on Saturday night (August 31) and Sunday morning (September 1) - when I arrived back at the hotel on Saturday (around 8:30pm), there was a car blocking the entrance of the garage and many others parked close the hotel. I just approached the valet and asked him what to do, since there was nowhere to leave my car, but on the middle of the street. He was very disrespectful by saying that he was too busy and I was too impatient, followed by a “I don’t care face” and inappropriate gestures. On Sunday morning, when we requested to have our car, the same man from the previous night started saying he was doing all the job alone, that he had 30 cars unattended and my husband was the one who had to go and get our car, which is fine if we hadn’t been notified during check-in that the hotel offered valet parking only. My question is: why did I pay so much for the valet that night if I was mistreated at night and had to get my own car the following morning? PS.: all the other valet employees were the opposite. Very respectful, ready to help, polite and with a smile on their faces. - Pool was not working on labor day for maintenance. I understand there is a need to close the pool for cleaning and whatever is necessary, but why doing that on a holiday?

Cons: The parking fee is ridiculous! $32 a day to park on the property is ridiculous. A reduced rate for people staying at the hotel is something to look into. It’s the one reason I won’t be back. Also, no microwave in the room. I didn’t mind eating at the Diamond Tavern across the street, but it would have been nice to be able to heat up the leftovers. Fix that parking rate for hotel patrons and you’ve got a deal, then.

As tourists to the area, we couldn't find a street map of the area. Also, we did not have any idea where to eat (other than the hotel restaurant) at first, and some pamphlets regarding the local eateries (like Pickles pub) would have been appreciated.

Appeared to not been fully vacuumed in some time. you could see the dust bunnies and carpet turn grey around the perimeters. There was also bits of tissue on the floor when I arrived. These are things that I expect to be taken care of before I arrive. I don't want to be disturbed with vacuuming during my stay.

Cons: I didn't like that there was a cockroach in our room. It was disgusting and I would honestly like my money back. I have a pic of it if you would like to see. Showed the people at the front desk the bug after we smashed it.

Cons: The pillows were not comfortable. We had an issue with valet. We valeted our car the first night of our stay, we tried to retrieve it on day 2 and were told they didn’t know who the car belonged to and the inside was ransacked. However the manager took care of the issue and apologized continuously.

Cons: The room was very small and the AC was broken. The front desk said tbey would get the staff to fix but it was still hot. The wait staff also tried to charge me for continental breakfast even after i explained i was a guest.

Cons: The room was in dire need of updating, although it was clean, it was in need of repair. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, I arrived back to the room late in the evening, and the air conditioning didn’t work, my room was hot and uncomfortable, my fault that I didn’t complain, I was tired and just wanted to get to sleep and move on in the morning. The staff was very helpful but the facility, my room in particular was in need of repair. I would not recommend staying there to anyone.
