Pros: The whole counter experience was friendly, almost like long lost friends.
Cons: we got a vehicle upgrade but were unimpressed by the number of minor scratches on the paintwork when we actually got to the vehicle which we could have been liable for if we had mot reported and photographed before leaving the lot.

Cons: The reservation was accidentally made at downtown but was supposed to be at the airport. When I arrived the agent said he would be able to switch the reservation and "take care of everything". I had to pay a little more, which was not ideal but tolerable. Three days after I picked up the vehicle I got an email from Avis saying they were going to charge me $50 "no show" fee. I called Avis helpline and it took over 1.5 hrs on the phone to correct the problem. Why I had to wait on hold for 30 min for a supervisor to fix the situation is beyond my comprehension.
Pros: Staff was awesome - best rental pickup/drop off experience ever
Cons: The car was dirty, which made it hard to see out the side and back windows, especially when the sun started to go down. I cleaned the back window at a gas station and had to roll down the side windows to see at certain times. This is unsafe and I was disappointed at this aspect.

Cons: The rental experience at Denver airport was terrible. The wait time to get the car was 4.5 hours. Due to long wait we could not make it our destination in time and had to pay for an extra night for hotel at the airport. Even after getting the car we found out next day that the third row seat wasn’t stretching back properly or folding up in the SUV which was a safety issue for us with 2 carseats for kids. When we told them about it the response was that they didn’t have another car due to busy weekend and couldn’t do anything. The response rate at the counter or phone is very cut and dry as well as super slow. I will never rent with Avis or any of the affiliated sister companies. I will not recommend Avis to anyone as well. With the experience we had I would expect a full refund but the way Avis runs their business I am not even expecting a response at the this point.

Cons: Communication is terrible for all Denver locations. I went to multiple, the first stating they don’t have any cars available after I already had a reservation, then travelled to another for it to be closed after already paying. No one could help me with a cancellation.

Cons: Car smelled of smoke. Called to try to get a replacement, but Customer service was not helpful at all.
Pros: Pick up was extremely easy. The no contact drop off was confusing, very little instructions or directions, not very clear how/where to leave the car.
Cons: This was by far the most expensive rental car ever. I paid about 5 times more than I usually pay for a rental car. The no contact drop off at the Omaha airport needs better signage/instructions.
Cons: My car wasn’t ready at pickup so we had to take a different vehicle and I was charged for fuel when it was returned Full!!
