They forgot to serve food and the crew was very unfriendly. Never experienced such a bad KLM flight. Usually fly from Toronto. New York was different.
The immigration hall in Amsterdam was understaffed, so passport checking was slower than it should be for a major airport. They need to get the automatic readers up and running for non EU passport holders. Waiting in line after a long flight feels a bit abusive.
First of all we couldn’t check in online, then we learn at the airport we were on stand by for KLM’s mistake of overbooking. The seats were not comfy at all. Our luggage got lost.
Cabin crew professional, polite and friendly, boarding was seemless, but come on KLM surely you can do better than a pack of cheesy biscuits as an inflight snack
They only had vegetarian food left on the flight which I wasn’t happy about. I didn’t get any food to eat at all.
Overall very poor. Flight was disorganised, staff were rude and this is my second experience with KLM that I've had baggage go missing. It feels like, if you are an economy customer, KLM staff do not show you any care. I shall never fly with KLM again. Worst airline in Europe
Overall a very pleasant flight. No significant issues on either flight. Amsterdam airport is very convenient for connecting
The food from Lagos to Amsterdam was was very poor compared to AMS-YYZ
The flight was again delayed for more then 2 hours with some lousy explanation regarding the reason of the delay. Although the flight was delayed for more than 2 hours, no refreshments were offered (according to EU regulations). Last 4 flights on KLM - always at least 2 hrs late. So be prepared that you cannot plan anything with KLM.
It was nice to be on a legacy airline, people try at least.

Worst of the 3 flights so far. Food was not good, wasn’t ask my choice. Airplane was the A320 which was not as nice as the 787. Left and arrived late.
Except for spending an extra day in Istanbul due to late departure from Athens on Saturday and missing the connection flight TK0044 to Cape Town and again arriving 45 min late on Monday in Cape Town, it was all good.
Very nice and friendly crew. Boarding system can be improved.
Their weakness is in boarding. Business class rarely boards first and there are no announcements explaining delays, so customers are always left waiting and wondering why boarding has paused.

It was a good experience. With the long layover they provided the TourIstanbul option to have the free sightseeing bus tour - that was a great option to pass the time. Airport at Istanbul is very comfortable and convenient. Flight was comfortable.

Our charging and WiFi were not working in our business class seats, even after they "refreshed" it.
Our screen kept turning off ...3 times...had to get crew attention to turn it on again
Flights were delayed and due to a checked hand luggage bag by an overzealous gate agent in Berlin I missed my ground connection costing me another £80. Food was cold and bland, I honestly expect better from a national carrier operating out of one of their major hubs.
Excellent once on board. Security staff at Johannesburg rude and aggressive.
The flight was canceled and the airline didn't even bother to notify passengers. It was Kayak that did a great job.

The transatlantic leg was on Discover Airlines. I’m 6’2” and the extra leg room seat was acceptable, the seat it self was moderately comfortable (slightly softer than a church pew). The food was a standard economy fare. Frankfurt to Prague leg was on Lufthansa the business class was as advertised 10 across the board.
I realize you are charging less, bu charging for EVERYTHING? Blankets? It's things like this that will make people search for ANY alternative.
The only thing I liked was the team on the airplane were very professional and that I had space in my seat because no one was seating next to me. Everything else was terrible. The food was awful, the entertainment system did not work 90% of the time, I was not able to watch even one movie properly without it stopping and posing all the time. To say that I did not have a good experience in the airport during boarding because it was an organized and a pretty big mess. I will never fly with them again
My experience was good but we left late from NY and missed our connection to Palermo and were rerouted through Zurich. We went from Zurich to Palermo on Swiss Air. The representatives at the gate harassed us and would not let us bring on our carry on bags stating the plane was fully packed which was not true. There were many empty seats and plenty of over head storage. I have never been treated in such a way.
Our entertainment/movie and audio did not work during our flight. Two of our bags did not make it to our final home destination. No personal assistant. Everything is via email/web with no assistance.
